An exhibition of the artist opened in the Uzbek city, whose paintings told about the terrible life in the Spielhausen camp. Among the portraits of prisoners, Elena Salimova recognizes her husband. But the man who brought the exhibition says it's not him. Elena goes to West Germany, meets a woman who worked in Spielhausen as a photographer and who knew her husband. Hilda Heinz, the woman’s name, tells a somewhat embellished and fictional story. Her story is the first part of the triptych, “Lies”.
