Ed Wood — stupid or genius?
I wanted to see this movie for a long time. I was expecting something unusual from the painting. After watching, I realized that it was not in vain that I was burning with desire.
Ed Wood falls into the category of Barton films. There is a certain gothic and black humor inherent in this director.
Reading the reviews, I expected an easy comedy, but after watching it, a slightly different feeling remains. The film is full of pretty funny moments, but I was struck by the very end, the last minutes when the background information was given. I feel this story is pretty sad...
As for the film itself, and not the content, I consider this film a quality work. I sincerely admire the director. An interesting decision to make a black and white film, there is a feeling that this is the film of the year that is described.
I was happy with the acting. Not even Sarah Jessica Parker, who I've never really loved.
Many believe that Edward Wood turned out to be “not real”, that this man was quite unpleasant. But it doesn’t matter what Ed Wood was, because in the end the world got a wonderful film, which is quite difficult to call a comedy.
