The story of the friendship of the boy and the Pyrenees mountain dog began with the book by the French writer Cecile Aubrey, according to which she put several adaptations at once. The TV series of the 60s (in the creation of which the writer actively participated), a more modern adaptation in the full meter of 2013, which received two sequels. Then there's the Japanese anime of the '80s. All these things I watched, so I was really serious about this remake. If in the original... the time of action was in 1943 (during the fascist occupation), then the remake, the story itself takes place in the modern world and this significantly reduced the degree of tension and the dramatic bundle. The boy plays average, but that's who you have to watch, it's the dog. She's great and fits into the movie - perfect. Visual, sound series, the camera work itself (the views of the mountains are brilliantly shown) - all at the level. Those who love the history of friendship between a boy and a dog will not be bored. There are no special plot twists, the narrative is smooth, without cardiograms, so I put only 4, and on a 10-point scale - 7 out of 10. It can be recommended for adolescent children. Daughter and son appreciated the film... just like me.🤓
