Patrice Lecomte’s 1992 film Tango, in my opinion, is somewhat different from his other films that I like, but nevertheless, it also seemed quite interesting to me, especially since good actors are involved in it, even in small roles – Philippe Noiret, Richard Boringe, Thierry Lermit, Miu-Miou, Jean Rochefort, Carole Bouquet. The plot is almost detective, but in fact it is such a blackish comedy with a melodramatic bias. One of the heroes, Vincent Baradyu, loves his wife very much, but after learning that she is cheating on him, he first organizes a fatal accident with her lover, and then kills her by dropping her from the plane. He was very surprised when he was suddenly acquitted at the trial, which came back to him after a while in a way he had never expected. In the film, in fact, several types of affections and relationships between a man and a woman are shown, taking into account the genre in a rather grotesque form, but not in American grotesque, but in French. I won’t go into details, but I think the movie can be seen.
