In the name of the bright future.
Interest in the villain as the main character is growing. Increasingly, the protagonist and antagonist change places. Evil vampires become heroes of comedies, zombies from the object of destruction turn into the object of love interest of romantic girls. Even in superhero films, which are tenaciously clinging to the canon of the genre, very often the villain is more vivid, interesting and elaborate than the hero. Terrorists in the cinema are not only considered absolute evil, which is simply indecent to understand and justify. However, the festival film is not forgiven. The film is about a simple guy. He lives a normal life in a small apartment, which he shares with his mother, works in an auto repair shop, looks at a beautiful girl. And then one day a friend comes to him and says, "You're going tomorrow." And he went. After a beautiful farewell ceremony, dressed in a festive costume, from under which wires peek out in places. He went for the future of his country.
This film does not justify the actions of terrorists. This is not called terrorism in the film, but is presented as another form of warfare. Someone drops bombs from planes, and then claims that the destroyed hospital was full of terrorists, and there was a three-year-old boy accidentally killed yesterday slashing the heads of Europeans for the glory of Allah. And some people don't have expensive planes, and they have to carry the bomb to their destination on their own. And it leads to the same results.
As for the technical side, visually the film, despite the dark theme, looks bright and sunny. The action in general is going quite lively. Especially in the second half, when there is another hero who wants to become the main character. However, at times the film looks boring and drawn out. The reason for this is the long and inappropriately pathetic dialogue about morality. In the narrative, they look just like the hero's black and white suit - striking with their absurdity.
Overall, the film is very interesting. It shows life on the other side of the barricades, where the plus and minus change places, shows the reasons for the emergence of terrorism from a completely peaceful religion. And this leads to very interesting thoughts.
