Deja Vu (2006) is a film by Tony Scott, Ridley Scott's younger brother. They worked together too... In 2012, Tony committed suicide, allegedly due to inoperable brain cancer. The final credits of the film emphasize that the film crew is proud to participate in the revival of New Orleans, flooded on August 29, 2005 by Hurricane Katrina (the film also mentions this). Film from the category "Groundhog Day", "Edge of the Future", "Source Code" and masses of similar. Despite all the difficulties with the game in the space-time continuum and wormholes, the authors did not overthink and avoided all sorts of paradoxes of travel to the past (such as the paradox of the murdered grandfather). A good American multi-genre film is, above all, fantastic. And Denzel Washington as the savior. The hero of Denzel experiences déjà vu many times, but in the finale of the film, hearing a familiar melody (sing Beach Boyce), cleverly smiles, he almost guessed. Happy End! It's a shame Tony Scott won't create anything else. .
