Awards Best Animated Film from the British Academy, Golden Globe 2014 and Oscars I don't know why. At the very beginning of the cartoon with the Northern theme sounds African song, as from the "Lion King" - it noticed all the critics and parody, who are not lazy. The plot does not explain why one sister has freezing powers and the other does not. He was born, no, that’s not an explanation. The girl is not taught to control her gift, but is kept in fear and loneliness throughout her youth - and what is so terrible in her power? She sculpts snowmen, not the blood of her subjects. Having never seen the age of freedom, she suddenly escapes to the mountains on foot, where people can hardly ride horses - and why did she have the strength? What will she eat there? Well, snowmen, huh??? Trying to protect her sister from her own magic, she ... wounds her sister with a shrapnel in her heart ... and sets on her a snow monster who is trying to kill her. Yeah, the best defense is assault. The prince of another state gives the order to execute the queen – and who are you to give such orders? Yes, the princess left it in the castle for herself - to give warm things to people, to look after the household. He did not become her husband to inherit real power in the event of her death. The whole first half in the cartoon is almost nothing happens, there is a long tedious bundle lasting an hour. There are no strong male characters. A huge number of empty meaningless music scenes (feel like an Indian movie) that I just squandered. In an effort to please everyone at once, the authors stuck different characters for different ages: a snowman and trolls for kindergartens, a theme with kisses for girls 10-14 years old, soldiers and a snow monster for boys, old Baravsky perhaps for parents to recognize in him relatives who are pleasant to wash bones. And this desire to please everyone and immediately noticeably, adults are irritated by the ridiculous snowman, and children will not understand all the drama. There's a lot of fluff. You can watch the English video "33 Mistakes of Disney's FROZEN You Didn't Notice" - these are constantly appearing out of nowhere objects and disappearing there, the girl's braid passes through the shoulder, weapons in the hands (i.e., disappearing footprints in the snow, Christoph falls through the snow without a trace of falling, moving doors, things, positions of characters). For some, this is a trifle, but the lack of a scene plan is unacceptable for a cartoon that has taken so many awards from something. In general, it turned out to be a hodgepodge of different fairy tales, but if, for example, in Shrek, it was conceived, then it looks artificial, done. It's actually some kind of murky remake/prequel of The Snow Queen. I know the script has been rewritten a lot of times. So much has been renovated that two garages remain.
