Export of mathematics A dry biography of business development. There is a dramatic element, but it is weak, unemotional, simple, playful.
In the film there are 2 main dramas: 1) the state wants to buy a controlling stake in the company, 2) the wife of the main character complains that the husband does not give the family time because of work.
Both dramas are simple, because between posing a problem and finding a solution, there is no development of these problems, nothing unexpected.
In the second case, we did not even show the denouement, but only the abundance of “snot” actualized the discontent of the wife of the main character (the drama ended here – the wife is unhappy). The denouement here is “multiplely” left behind the ending of the film, but in fact this “multipleness” is a weak attempt by the writer to introduce some kind of philosophy, as they say, “to make the viewer think.” However, this situation is so banal and uninteresting that it is not perceived as a problem.
And the denouement of the first drama is at the level of deus ex machina, “a grand piano in the bushes”, that is, there is no development again, but just some kind of “sudden” uncle of dudes saved and a decision was announced with a “golden action”.
Well, another sign of weak drama - the main characters do only good deeds. I advise the writers of “Startup” to watch “Game of Thrones”:) And before “Social Network” and Aaron Sorkin’s script – as before Mars, if you can compare at all.
A good quote is about "export of mathematics" instead of oil. Did the mathematician write the script?
