Doctor Henry Morgan, New York City’s star medical examiner, has a secret. He doesn't just study the dead to solve criminal cases, he does it to solve the mystery that has eluded him for 200 years—the answer to his own inexplicable immortality. This long life has given Henry remarkable observation skills which impresses his new partner, Detective Jo Martinez. Each week, a new case and their budding friendship will reveal layers of Henry’s long and colorful past. Only his best friend and confidant, Abe knows Henry’s secret.
High-quality, cheerful and at the same time easy to perceive the series ... will suit everyone! Imho, I didn’t like only the fact that each series is its own story, united only by a thread idea for the whole season, I prefer one story for the whole series, for which I threw ... and so a good series, suitable for viewing and for the background!
This series is a kind of standard second-rate detective. The recipe is simple - take something from the classics, like the image of Holmes, add mysticism to the mix and put on the rails of an ordinary detective household of a big city. From all sides it is verified, but there is nothing to cling to in it. Personally,

This series is a kind of standard second-rate detective. The recipe is simple - take something from the classics, like the image of Holmes, add mysticism to the mix and put on the rails of an ordinary detective household of a big city. From all sides it is verified, but there is nothing to cling to in it. Personally, I only liked the ending, the rest is sympathetic and secondary. Especially moralizing in each series. Passable, disposable, unremarkable, secondary, beautiful.
A wonderful series, both touching and exciting. On the one hand, it's a pity that only one season, on the other - it's good that we didn't slide, and on a beautiful note ended.
