An Italian film directed by Sergio Castellito based on his wife Margaret Mazantini’s best-selling novel, No One Can Survive Alone (Nessuno si salva da solo, 2015). This is not the first film they have made together, his previous films were either based on her novels, or she took part in writing the script. Being a very famous and good actor, at some point he started making films himself and, I must say, very successfully. They have been together for many years (since 1987), they have four children. This film is a family drama in which the couple are trying to figure out, probably not for the first time, what led to their breakup, habitually, of course, blaming each other for this. In fact, they meet one evening for dinner at a restaurant to discuss how to arrange their sons vacation. The discussion is quite heated, at times attracting the attention of other visitors to the restaurant, we also see how their ardent love began at one time, how it developed later, that they chopped off along the way and in the end it becomes clear that their love has not disappeared anywhere, only they themselves managed to clothe it with their stupid actions and statements and destroy, well, it all knows how. The end is even optimistic, but what if everything gets better? Despite the melodramatic plot, thanks to good acting, in the main roles of famous actors - Riccardo Scamarcho and Jazmine Trinca, the film looks good, although the actions of the characters sometimes cause rejection.
