Most of the film was disappointed, there was no investigation, stupid dialogue, unusual Poirot. The fact that the writer made some changes to the plot is, of course, excusable. And yet, the final act, with the traditional gathering of all suspects in one place and Poirot's account of what happened - pulled the whole movie out entirely.

It is difficult to surprise and shake the viewer, who (this must be understood by the filmmakers) almost certainly knows the solution. But they succeeded, the ending was very much done, well directed and played. Good actor's placer is amazing.
