What men are talking about
Family holidays are interesting, of course, but it is even more interesting to relax with several friendly families at once in one of the nostalgic houses, away from civilization. The simple plot of the new comedy Dennis Dugan is built around former classmates who once belonged to the school basketball team, who met again many years later in order to honor the memory of the coach. The spectacular stellar composition, from which the eye is already running out, anneals to the full program. It is difficult even to choose whose jokes and comedic moments are the most successful and funny, and humor ranges from falling into the cake face to the funny, but dangerous, game “catch me an arrow”. Hot beauties in bikinis, a rich successful life, beer parties, in general, everything that men talk about, having gathered a soulful company, the truth is here and there scurry wives and children, but in general, the emphasis is shifted precisely on the male audience, and on the main characters of the story.
Non-boring comedy catches from the prologue, and does not have time to tire of the final credits. The film looks very lively, cheerful and interesting, although in fact it does not boast of any twisted plot or non-standard turns, with all its successful features. He is smooth in concept, but at the same time regularly funny. This equanimity distinguishes it from similar films about family holidays, such as Cheaper 2, where the plot is limited to one family and their rivals, and the action revolves around competitions and confrontation. Here, a very similar motif, piercing the general plot plot, breaks to the surface of the action only to the end, when the very match begins, bringing the culmination of the film to a higher emotional level than its main part, and the motive of the rivalry is not the main, but only a side impetus to the action and development of events.
In general, this is such a film-rest, encouraging you to take a vacation and leave with your family if not in a remote village, where mobile phones are not caught and TVs spin only a couple of channels, then at least in a water park and similar places for family leisure and fun pastime. A film about the values of family, about strong friendship, and of course about love, where without it?
Dugan shot a decent good movie in his corporate style, which can be safely kept in the collection, reviewing at times to the mood, and most importantly - to advise friends, exhausted work, business and other problems, so that those, envious of the main characters of the tape, also began to have fun. As a comedy, “Classmates” were very successful, and the mood is raised wonderfully.
