About time Here I read in reviews that this is a film about missed opportunities. I don’t think it’s true: both of the main characters at the beginning of the film were completely different, and they didn’t have any “opportunities.” Possibilities “grew” throughout the narrative and were realized precisely when they finally matured. This film is about lost time. About how much time can be spent to grow from an ugly duckling into a swan and how little will remain to enjoy the flight.
Surprisingly, both our and Western critics appreciated this film. Don't listen to them. It's a great movie. And the book seems even more interesting. A lot of interesting dialogue just didn't fit into the timing.
