But I was left completely bewildered by the insane amount of alcohol that is consumed by all people in the film (wizards and healers somehow dispensed with tea) continuously! What was it - the director's presentation about the residents of Altai, or Russians in general? Like a joke? Propaganda of alcoholism? I wish I could read the answer to that question. .
