Diane Duane was born in 1952 in New York City. She debuted in fiction with the novel “The Door to the Flame” (1979). A number of works she co-wrote with her husband Peter Morewood. Among the most famous works of Duyen is a children's adventure trilogy ("Allowed Magic", 1983; "Deep Magic", 1985; "High Magic", 1990). Dwayne came to science fiction through novelizations of episodes of the series "Star Trek". She recently published a novel based on the popular computer game UFO: Enemy Unknown.
