He began to be published as a cartoonist in 1975, published in the newspapers “Moskovsky Komsomolets”, “Literary newspaper” and other periodicals.
For fifteen years he worked in the publishing house “Kommersant”, where his famous character “Petrovich” was born. He was also a co-host of the programs “Total” and “Free cheese” with Viktor Shenderovich. The author of many cartoons at different times broadcast on the channels ORT, NTV and TV 6. He also works as an illustrator. Member of the Academy of Graphic Design and Union of Artists of Russia. He is the winner of several professional awards.
