History is silent about what caused the revaluation of life values. However, after graduation, Michel went to Paris and for two years prepared for admission to the National Academy of Dramatic Art. After its graduation, Galabre played for several years in the Comedy Francis troupe. He made his first film appearance in Jean Devevere’s My Wife, My Cow and Me. After leaving Comedy Française in 1957, he worked in small theaters and performed cameo roles in films.
Michel Galabru's finest hour came in the '60s. At this time, the film “The War of the Buttons” directed by Yves Robert was released, and most importantly, Jean Giraud’s film saw the light of day.
