The popular actor of cinema, theater and television, Francois Cluzet, was born on September 21, 1955 in the capital of France, the beautiful and romantic city of Paris, in a family of businessmen. After graduating from high school, François decided to continue his studies at the Lyceum, however, when the guy was seventeen years old, he dropped out and began acting. To do this, he entered the courses of Simon, Jean Perimoni, Jean-Lauren Cachet, after which he was invited to work in the theater and on television. It was here that the talented guy noticed the director Diana Curis.
When Cluse was twenty-five years old, he played his first role in the film Molotov Cocktail, dedicated to the events of spring 1968. A short time later, Francois appeared in the film The Horse of Pride directed by Claude Chabrol, which served as the beginning of further friendship and cooperation between two talented people. In 1982, Cluse starred in Chabrol's film "Ghosts of the Hatter".
In 1984, François Cluset was twice nominated for the Cesar Film Award: for his roles in the film Murderous Summer (Best Supporting Actor), as well as in the film Long Live Social Care!. In 1989, François was approved for the role in the film Too Good for You, where he starred with the famous French actor Gerard Depardieu.
Two years later, the actor crossed the Atlantic in order to play under the leadership of two brilliant directors of American cinema - Robert Altman and Lawrence Kasden in the films "High Fashion" and

The early 2000s were rich and fruitful in Cluse’s acting career: he starred in the comedy films “Boutique”, “Who Smashed Pamela”, “Janice and John”. In 2008, the actor appeared in the films Paris and Blood Ties directed by Guillaume Canet. For his excellent role in the film “Tell No One!” François Cluset received his first César Prize.
