Barbora Bobulova is an Italian and Slovak actress. Barbora was born in the spring of 1974 in Czechoslovakia in the town of Martin. Barbora was born in the spring of 1974 in Czechoslovakia in the town of Martin. After graduation, she went to study at the National Academy of Dramatic Art in Bratislava. She graduated in 1995.
Two years before graduating from the academy, Barbora made her film debut. The first film where she starred was Princess Peacock directed by Zdenek Troschka. After that, she performed in three more films of Slovak production.
Soon Barbora Bobulova moved to Italy and decided to try herself in Italian cinema. In 1996, she starred in a television movie called Infiltrator, where her co-star was Valerio Mastandrea. A year later, she played the role of Natalia in the film “Prince of Homburg” by the great Italian director Marco Belocchio.
In 2003, Barbora Bobulova received her first prize. It was the Golden FIPA award of the International Film Festival in France.
