Igor Klimenkov was born on March 13, 1934. His parents were creative people, his mother was an actress, his father was a conductor in the theater. They met at the Belarusian Theater of Drama and Musical Comedy.
When Igor was only 12 years old, he was approved for the role in the famous film, selected from many applicants. The boy did great. But, surprisingly, his further acting fate did not work out. Klymenkov later, two years later, starred in another film, Happy Swimming (1949). But then he only unsuccessfully auditioned for roles in other films.
However, he easily entered the theater institute. Who knows what the fate of a talented actor would be. But Klimenkov left the university, and not having studied there even for a year. Then Igor entered the art school named after Vera Mukhina, but did not pass the competition. Then he entered the Herzen Pedagogical Institute, the Faculty of History, but left from there.
He became interested in music, began to play the guitar, opened his own circle in the House of Amateur Art. A few years later, Klimenkova already had a department in the music school, he began to make guitars himself. The masters were included in the "Encyclopedia of Guitar Art" and the directory "Art Fund of Russia".
Klymenkov and his wife created a puppet theater for children in Crimea. Igor made all the dolls himself. The master died on March 12, 2006. He was buried in the cemetery of the village Novennye. Before his death, Igor Klimenkov was almost blind.
