Michal Bajor, a famous artist and singer, was born in Gluholazy, Poland, on June 13, 1957. But then the family moved to Opole. There, Michal’s father served as an actor in the local puppet theater. The boy from an early age rotated in a creative environment. And he developed a passion for art. He studied piano and dance. He played the role of the Wolf in the children's play Red Riding Hood. And in 1970, the boy participated in the qualifying round of the song festival, which was held in his hometown.

The boy from an early age rotated in a creative environment. And he developed a passion for art. He studied piano and dance. He played the role of the Wolf in the children's play Red Riding Hood. And in 1970, the boy participated in the qualifying round of the song festival, which was held in his hometown.
The first experiment was followed by other attempts. And in 1973, Bayor became the winner of the Festival of Soviet Song in the city of Zelena-Guzha. He conquered the jury, brilliantly and emotionally performing the song “Semenovna”. After that, Michal was invited to participate in the International Music Festival in Sopot.
In 1975 and 1976, Bayor gave concerts with the famous orchestras of Stefan Rahon and Heinrich Debig. In 1975, his career in cinema began. Michal starred in the film of the famous director Agnieszka Holland “Evening at Abdon” together with Beata Tyszkiewicz.
After that, he was admitted to the Higher Theatre School in Warsaw, from which he graduated in 1980. During his training, Bayor played in the Athenaeum Theatre, in Peter Schafer’s play Equius.
He has done a lot of work, including in films like
"Medium" (1985), "It's Not What You Think, Dear" (2008) "Quo Vadis" (2001), the Oscar-nominated film "Hanussen" (1988), the picture of the famous Jerzy Kavalerovich "Kamo Grudeshi" (2000), where he played Nero.
