In 1998, Vadim independently wrote the script, and then produced the feature film Breaking the Silence (in the Russian box office the tape is called Lima: Out of Chain). The film was directed by Menachem Golan.
In 1999, Sokolovsky returned to Moscow and worked as a producer for a year in the Moscow bureau of NBC News. In 2003, he became a producer and the second director of the film-fairy tale “The Keeper of Time”, and in 2004 he became head of the production department of A-Media. From the middle of the two thousandth Sokolovsky worked as a director and shot for the channel “Russia” numerous series and feature films: “Ticket to the harem”, “Emergency-2”,
