Bertha Navarro is a Mexican producer, native of Mexico City. During her many years of film work, Berta collaborated on a permanent basis with a group of directors who contributed to the development of Mexican cinema in the sixties and eighties. Among these people is Gregory Nava, with whom in 1983 she directed the adventure thriller North, nominated for an Oscar for the screenplay. Navarro also works with young talented directors who have been able to express themselves in the last 10-20 years.
