Documentary and feature film director Andrei Selivanov was born on February 25, 1966. After graduating from high school, he entered the theater school for the acting department, which he graduated in 1987. Then he continued his studies at GITTIS at the Faculty of Director. Selivanov's debut directorial work was the series "Experts", where such actors as Ilya Drevnov, Boris Plotnikov, Alexander Berda, Alexander Naumov were engaged.

In 2008, the melodrama “Queen of Ice” was released on the screens of the country, the story about the fate of Irina – one of the best coaches of the Russian Figure Skating Federation, who, despite her success, is not very happy in her personal life. In the same year, Selivanov shot three more films – “Virtuities of Fate”, “How to Be a Heart” and “Blood Ties”.
Another melodrama “Daughter-Mother”, telling about the difficult fate of the heroine who lost her beloved daughter, was released in 2009. The film starred such famous actors as Anna Miklos, Dmitry Miller, Marina Mogilevskaya, Mikhail Gorevoy.

In 2001, Andrey shot the film "Sklif" about the difficult heroic everyday life of doctors of the main institute of ambulance named after Sklyfosophsky.
