Stanislav Mitin is a Russian television, theater and film director, teacher and screenwriter. Mitin is from Tashkent. In 1980 he graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography, where he received the specialty “Drama Directing”. Mitin studied in the class of Professor, People's Artist of Russia Korogdsky. Stanislav Mitin is a Russian television, theater and film director, teacher and screenwriter.
Mitin is from Tashkent. In 1980 he graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography, where he received the specialty “Drama Directing”. Mitin studied in the class of Professor, People's Artist of Russia Korogdsky. Later, he worked as a director of the Leningrad Theater of Young Spectators, the Moscow Youth Theater and the Moscow Theater of the Lenin Komsomol under the direction of Mark Zakharov.
During his long career in cinema, Stanislav Mitin managed to stage more than thirty musical and dramatic performances not only in Russia, but also abroad. He was the head of the Theater of Generations in St. Petersburg.
Mitin acted as the chief director of the municipal theater “New Opera” in Moscow. He managed to stage such operas as Maria Stewart, Rossini, Ruslan and Lyudmila and others. Some of his performances, in particular, “Rossini”, took place on the stage of the “New Opera” for more than twenty years.
