Buyanto Grigorievich was born in 1923 in the town of Ayan, where only 5-6 families lived. Father Buyanto was a shepherd, the future actor was engaged in herding sheep on horseback. But the father died suddenly, and the mother and her son moved to the village of Ulyunkhan of the Dyrensky village council (Buryatia). By the way, there was no secondary school in the village and the boy, along with the other children, had to walk 150 kilometers every week to visit home and then return to the Kurumkan school. Once during such a campaign, the children were surrounded by a wolf pack and it is unknown what would have happened if 12-year-old Buyanto and a friend had not driven the animals away with fire.
While still in school, he sang wonderfully, read poetry (he had a phenomenal memory), danced and parodied fellow villagers. Then he became interested in school theater, and this hobby led him to the Buryat Musical and Drama Theater. True, he was taken to the troupe only as a musician playing the national musical instrument Morin-hur.
In 1940, Ayushin entered GTITS, but the war broke all plans. In 1947, Buyanto repeated the attempt and in 1950 he finished the "creative seminar of the People's Artist of the USSR Alexei Popov". After graduation, Buyanto got into the troupe of a mobile Buryat theater. Here, as a director, he staged performances based on the works of Namsaraev, Batozhabai, Shagzhin and other Buryat authors. He did not hesitate to substitute actors if necessary. And for the production of "Dalan hoodalch" Ch. Oydov Ayushin was awarded the Mongolian order "Polar Star".
In 1955, the director A. Frolov was looking for an artist for the role of a crook and a sycophant of the collective farmer Shagta in Russia.
