After graduating from LGITMIK, where he entered in 1966, Bryantsev went to serve in the Krasnoyarsk Youth Theatre, where in the talented role he played Vasenka Sarafanov from the play “Date in the suburbs” he was noticed by the theater director Efim Padve, who came to this city on tour. He invited the artist to the Leningrad Theater of Drama and Comedy, where he worked at that time.
So began a new stage in the life of Sergei Valentinovich, who throughout his career played at various stages of the city on the Neva, including the troupe of the chamber theater of Vladimir Malyshchitsky, where he served from 1987 to 2004, died on February 7, 2004.
While theatrical roles he had enough, in the movie Sergey Valentinovich starred little. Viewers could see him in the film “Blockade”, the film almanac “Exception without rules”, in episodes of the film
Khrustalev, the machine! "Secrets of Investigation" and "Streets of Broken Lanterns".
