Modern Russian theater director and director Andrey Moguchi was born on November 23, 1961 in Leningrad. By training, a radio engineer, nevertheless, chose a creative career for himself. Dreaming of working in the theater, Andrey Moguchiy enters the Leningrad Institute of Culture, where he studies not only acting, but also directing.
Even before entering the Leningrad Institute of Culture, Andrey Moguchiy created his own theater studio, whose work shocked, puzzled, was filled with outrage, but something unusually attracted the viewer. The first production was presented to the public during the Caravan of Peace Theatre Festival. The play "The Death of a Pioneer" was called "wild and surreal" and more like a street performance than a theater production. All subsequent works of Andrei Moguchey were also distinguished by avant-garde and enjoyed extraordinary success.
Andrei Moguchi is widely known in theatrical circles as the creator and head of the Formal Theatre, on the stage of which the most original and unexpected performances are successfully held - "Hamlet Machine", "Between a Dog and a Wolf", "Pro Turandot" and many others. /
