Bogachev was born in 1945 in the city of Shatsk (Ryazan region), in 1969 he graduated from the acting faculty of LGITMIK, after which he was immediately enrolled in the theater troupe. Here he played Gusev in the play “Valentine and Valentine”, Muaron in “Moliere”, Kota in “Khanum”, Shargaev in “The Threshold”, Mitka Korshunov in “The Quiet Don”, Murzavetsky in “Wolves and Sheep”, Enlightened personality in “The Death of Tarelkin”, Vaska Ashes in the play “At the bottom”. One of his most famous theatrical works, in which the actor appeared in an unusual role for the audience - the role of Macbeth. As Bogachev himself admits, the director of BDT had a huge influence on his formation as an actor.
"Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson: Meet" "Simple things." In recent years, he has appeared in television series.
Master and Margarita and
Brezhnev .
Bogachev does not like to talk about himself, preferring to share his thoughts on the role of modern theater in society with journalists, talks about his partners in the theater shop:
Oleg Basilashvili ("I Breathe in His Back") by Sergei Jurassic,
Oleg Menshikova Evgenia Mironova,
Order "For Services to the Fatherland" II degree and "Order of Friendship". Bogachev is not going to cheat on his native theater: “As my older brother says, the military: they do not swear twice!”, but he will not be particularly discouraged if he suddenly turns out not to be in demand among directors: “Being a People’s Artist of Russia, I went to Finland during my vacation and worked there in construction crews.” I learned to make furniture, I won't be an actor, I'll be a carpenter. Gennady Petrovich Bogachev is married, his son from his first marriage lives in America, two daughters from his second marriage - in England. Their infrequent visits to their father’s home are a real holiday for a happy father. /
