In 2000, Karen and Brian meet Nick Zinner and decide to organize a punk band, and soon "Yeah Yeah Yeahs" recorded several quite hit songs and supported groups such as
and The Strokes. In late 2001, the EP Yeah Yeah Yeahs was released. In the spring of 2002, the band went on tour in the United States and Europe together with bands. "Girls Against Boys" And Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. The single "Machine" is coming out soon.
Her debut full-length studio album Fever to Tell was released in 2003. The single "Maps" from the collection gets to radio stations in the United States, where it is rotated for quite a long time. In the spring of 2006, the band recorded an EP Let Me Know/Gold Lion Remixes, and soon the album Show Your Bones appeared, which, according to NME magazine, ranks second among the best albums of 2006. "Gold Lion" is at number 18 on the Official UK Singles Chart. Shortly after the release of the album, Yeah Yeah Yeahs embarked on a tour with second lead guitarist Imaad Wasif. In 2007, after the performances, the EP "Is Is" was released.
In 2008, studio work began on new tracks for the album It's Blitz!, which was released in the spring of 2009. /
