Before the formation of Crazy Town, Mazur and Binzer participated in the activities of a collective called "Divine Styler", later renamed "Divine Styler".
. Over time, the musicians decided to organize their own project, the name of which was coined quite quickly - "Crazy Town". Since its formation and for four years, the band has formed its musical style, conducting numerous performances in music clubs in California. By 1999, Crazy Town's lineup was complete: Bret "Epic" Mazur, Seth "Shifty" Binzer, James "JBJ" Bradley Jr., Doug "Faydoedeelay" Miller, Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein, Anthony "Trouble" Valli and Rust Epique. And in the fall of this year, the band’s debut album called “The Gift of Game” was released. In support of the collection, the group tours together with Red Hot Chili Peppers team .
In 2000, Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein left the band, and the musicians are six. The most famous song of the group “Crazy Town” at that time is the song “Butterfly”, which is a kind of ode to the beloved woman.
In 2002, the band released Darkhorse, featuring new member Kyle Hollinger, instead of James "JBJ" Bradley Jr. The album does not bring much success, slightly climbing the steps of the Billboard hit parade by 164th place.
Some time after the release of the album, the band breaks up, motivating the dissolution of the band by pressure from the recording studio.
After a long five years, the musicians decide to revive “Crazy Town”, bit by bit restoring everything that was achieved in the past, sitting in the studio, recording new compositions, conducting concert performances, and in 2010 they release “Crazy Town Is Back”, which includes both new songs of the band and earlier songs beloved by fans. /
