Various lineup changes survived only the vocalist and bass guitarist of the group. The style direction of "Rise Against" is hardcore punk and melodic hardcore.
The debut release of the group becomes a mini-album published at its own expense. In 2001, Fat Wreck Chords released their first studio album, The Unraveling. Two years later, the musicians recorded another album “Revolutions Per Minute”. During this period, "Rise Against" conducts a successful concert tour and receives positive reviews of music publications.
The albums Siren Song of the Counter Culture and The Sufferer & the Witness were released in 2004 and 2006 by Geffen Records. "Prayer of the Refugee", "Swing Life Away" and "Give It All" are popular. The 2006 album reached platinum status in Canada and entered the top 10 of the national chart. The following year, Rise Against will perform with My Chemical Romance and Billy Talent. In the summer of 2007, the minion “This Is Noise” was released.
In October 2008, the album “Appeal to Reason” was released. It ranks third on the American album chart. Almost 65,000 CDs are sold in the first week. The album is generally critically acclaimed, but not as highly as previous work. This is due to the fact that the music of "Rise Against" becomes more "calm" and moves away from hardcore punk. Entertainment Weekly notes that the album's songs are "lively and enjoyable, but empty."
In the summer of 2009, the band toured North America.
"Billy Talent" and "Rancid." In late 2009 and early 2010, Rise Against performed in cities across Europe and Australia. / Discography 2000 Transistor Revolt (EP) 2001 - The Unraveling 2003 Revolutions Per Minute 2004 Siren Song of the Counter Culture
