Anthrax, an American rock band, was founded in 1981 in New York by vocalist Neil Turbin, guitarists Dan Spitz and Scott Ian, bass guitarist Danny Lilker and drummer Charlie Benante. Soon the musicians signed a contract with the label “Megaforce Records”. "Fistful of Metal" was released in 1983. Their second studio album, Spreading the Disease, was released in 1985. The disc is considered one of the most successful in the creative activity of the team. The most famous is the track "Anthrax" "Madhouse".
