The future actor was born in northern Berlin in 1957. After receiving his first education, he went to work in a hotel, where he soon rose to manager of a mini-bar. Being 1 m 90 cm tall, he gave his free time to the decathlon, where he succeeded. Meanwhile, the work in the bar had to be finished due to the inconstancy of management, and Hans-Ulrich reoriented himself – he studied and began to work in a casino in Berlin. All these years allowed him to gain considerable experience in communicating with people of different ages and characters, which later came in handy for him in his acting career.
In 1989, on the advice of a friend, he registered with an acting agency, but his specific appearance left him only the role of extras. But he was, as always, persistent, eventually noticed, and today Lox quite often appears on screens in different roles. This can be seen in paintings such as
"Hell in Heaven" and
"Victoria" The last of which was in the competition of the Berlin Film Festival.
