Downton Abbey" .
Sophie was born on the first day of 1985 in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, where she spent her childhood and adolescence. While studying at school, the future actress attended a drama club, and it was there, when she was 12 years old, that her first success happened – because of her ability to imitate an American accent, she got a role in the musical “Goodbye, dear”, which was staged in London. This role can be considered the theatrical debut of the actress. Her more adult work began after graduating from Brunel University London, where she studied the art of drama. These were roles in the British soap opera Emmerdale Farm and Doctors, as well as shooting in a post-apocalyptic series.
Survivors .
The first Hollywood project of the actress was a film fairy tale
Cinderella In which she played the villain, the half-sister of the main character. Sophie appreciates working with such an outstanding actress as Cate Blanchett, who appeared here as her stepmother.
