A slight sense of unsolvedness. Romanticism in eroticism
A very beautiful, elegant and bold erotic drama about the inner conflict of a woman, torn between love and duty, honor and passion, moral limitations and physiological needs of the body. The plot is relevant, but the film is still dominated by the frank side of life. And I must say that it was done qualitatively. Surprisingly, in this, the first part of the “Diary” all the actors, especially the actresses are chosen just perfectly. Their proportions, skin color, physical condition are simply anthems of physical beauty. There are almost no flaws, even extra moles. Of course, beauty is a matter of taste, and in this regard, for example, the faces of female characters are very different, very different, that is, each with its own zest, with its own imperfections, which you can fall in love with, natural beauty. Almost all breasts are natural, or indistinguishable from them. What distinguishes this erotic film from many others.
The bed scenes themselves are filmed very beautifully, not gone, not dirty, from different angles, with knowledge, they do not cause disgust neither from sex nor from the female body. For the director - it seems to be the embodiment of his sense of beauty in the frame - this is especially noticeable against the background of many similar scenes in other films, where everything is shot carelessly, sometimes downright nasty, sometimes beautiful, but it went wrong, sometimes too boring frankly or, conversely, hypocritically modest. Here, with complete frankness, sometimes balancing on the verge of porn, the operator manages to leave room for imagination, hiding some of the most insignificant details, revealing the beauty of the body for a hundred! It is also important to note that the operator chooses not just bare parts of the body, but the angles in which women's charms look best, dosing them with the attention of the viewer. This movie can be used as a manual for shooting explicit erotic scenes and selecting actors, which is clearly lacking in many non-erotic films, with insertions of bed scenes.
In fact, there is a story here too, and it is quite informal. Moreover, the narrative is presented in the form of reasoning and thoughts of the main character, recorded in her diary. The text of thoughts is very, very interestingly submitted, I want to empathize with this story, while looking at the inviting, desirable body, and atypical face of this woman. Of course, such ideal erotic scenes are too fabulous, grotesque, I would call it erotic romanticism. Well, it only happens... in a fairy tale. But like romanticism in literature, people can be perfect in life... sometimes, but with a touch of clumsy and untucked reality. And such films are just needed to emphasize and highlight the beauty that is usually masked by everyday life.
Frankness without vulgarity
Sex scenes are mostly quite appropriate, except for a few dirty vulgar inserts, but they are explained in the subsequent comments of the heroine and help to reveal the topic. Perhaps they are too unnaturally candid, but beautiful.
Sexual intercourse is filmed without rude haste, picture, but it can not be said that it seems quite staged, rather the video is shot as a lasting photo caught in the moment. Because of this, the film has almost no candor in dynamism, creating additional understatement.
Partners of the heroine are well selected, not perfect handsome, but in the prime of life, they look very good visually. In general, there is a reason to scratch your head and drown in doubt. And accordingly, there is something in the main character that is worth fighting for, there is no question: “What did they find in her?” Even I found that if in this film all the girls are perfect, then the main character is even better. Rare non-model proportions, not tall, not thin, not at all fat at the same time, slender, with a large, neat, elastic breast that you want to consider, because it seems that something important in it constantly escapes from view and a very pretty, not spoiled, and not a stone face in which you can drown and which is such that it wants to be considered in the first place even with such an ideal body – in short, just a charm. It’s embarrassing to see her in a movie like this. But the actress reveals a hundred – her words and intonations want to follow the same way, better watch this film in the original, however, voiced in Russian version even not. What is interesting is that the beauty of her body is probably revealed in all possible angles, there is almost no side that did not fall into the frame of the operator, but at the same time a lot of scenes at least something, but they hide a little - this creates an additional sense of desire, without vulgarity. There are only two or three scenes with her, where almost nothing is hidden, but they are so monumental filmed or some feature of her appearance that they leave a slight sense of unsolved.
Maybe you want to say that there is too much external beauty, but in a person the main personality with some external flaws. I agree, but you will agree that in youth, even if men fall in love with the inner world, they fall in love with their eyes, and in some period of time many of their chosen ones can really be impeccable for their youth. And this film sort of captures that time of life.
So far, I have described the film purely from the visual-erotic side, and I think it is a masterpiece of romanticism in eroticism. But the dramatic component also seems too romanticized. There's a classic setup, a surge, a climax, and a denouement. There's a life conflict. But the way this problem of life is solved is pure romanticism, which is not the case in life, as is the case in almost all romantic comedies. But the playful kindness of the character of Lila Baumann I do not turn my tongue to call fake, she is so natural in her manifestations, perhaps also because she is not a professional actress (?): in her filmography, no more films, except for another 3 parts of “Diary” does not appear... I also enjoyed the dialogue at the table, where the upcoming marriage is discussed - something very vital and relevant. It is very interesting to compare the behavior of the father of this girl, the actor plays very well, I just want to repeat it - it's not easy, and the behavior of father Jeffrey at the table - two very mirror pictures, I don't know about you, and to me these scenes, after a few days, after watching, seemed not formally tortured, but very clearly revealing the concept of the film. Even if the director had nothing in mind, and the image of the eccentric and not serious-wise father of Anna arose only as a result of the amateur actor. What is important is not the design of the scenes themselves, but the associations that these scenes cause in specific viewers. Find your associations and you...
