People need to believe something, and the present will believe in anything.
The world after Thanos. A world without Tony Stark and Captain America. A world in which the Avengers scattered to different parts of the universe on a well-deserved vacation. In the range of only Spider-Man in puberty and ubiquitous, but 5 years behind life, Nick Fury. Who will fight the new threat - the monsters of the 4 elements Elementals?
Just him! Charming handsome with a perfect beard and a steamed cape - Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). And let the spider learn to get the girls' attention. . .
Another Marvel movie holds a stamp. Favorite characters, good picture and sound, witty dialogue and comfortable action. What do you need for a good viewing experience?
Regarding Marvel's capabilities, the new film is weak. Compared to other Spider-Man movies, it’s pretty good. The ending, foreshadowing a delicious continuation, is also present.
For me personally, a very pleasant surprise was the latest development of Stark's company - the EDIT program, which in the Russian version speaks with the voice of Ingeborgi Dapkunaite. Recognisable from the first sentence. This is an extremely successful find.
Expanding your horizons with a Spider-Man guidebook
As for me, Marvel movies can be represented in the form of one cafe, with a cozy atmosphere, friendly waitresses, experienced chefs preparing delicious desserts and drinks, and sometimes cheerful circus artists come in the door, cheering visitors with their selected numbers, and at the end of the day, a sunset appears outside the window, and you breathe a certain stability in positive colors go home, remembering those minutes that caused you to smile, and that afterword, fixing the drama of the end of everything that has accumulated during this time. Can this all come together? Or do you have to wait until you find a place that you are in, and then you have to look around and choose another? - Absolutely can. But what if they keep the level that allows a person to come there again and again, yes, the environment is too familiar, already native, and the menu is usually changed by adding sauces or seasonings to the standard food, but when you are surrounded on all sides by something that is able to pile up from day to day with positive emotions, you will want to go back there again - This is the cafe that fascinates with the fact that it is just there, where you will have a nice lunch and come out with a cheerful mood.
Is it worth running through the time gaps that govern the gaps in the plot between the awareness of the past and what is now - After all, many turned to dust, and resurrected again, and the situation only acquired a humorous mood - I think no, for the reasons that at the moment we have a teenager, consider recently joined the ranks of the avengers and lost someone on whom he mentally always relied, because a person at his age sometimes looks for someone to be equal, and he turned out to be Tony Stark, so all his beliefs, schisms of the heroic core, are destroyed in his shoulder, and all the threats that will appear on his shoulders, when he himself, and will be destroyed in the moment, when he will be destroyed in the moment. Thus, being in this period of time, all the bad tries to forget, occasionally resembling the graffiti of the mentor, because he is an energetic guy and without a smile it is difficult to imagine his tomorrow, especially with love impulses.
Everything that did not grow in the first part, grew in the second, it became more spectacular, visually aesthetic, and changing the character of the main character, becoming more and more responsible for different things, making superhero races with previously prepared lotions (give, use), this is again the case when the picture tells the story a little better than the characters themselves, but why not, since he is the character of an entertaining blockbuster, and all the drives are connected by already worn cogs in the form of revealing the potential of the villain and his purposes, so and ultimately they all attract his finality in the same way.
The recipe is known, the ingredients are almost the same, but the different hands that prepare them give them their shape, visually admiring, pleasantly consuming.
The story of youthful love with a little extra action
I bought a movie on the Movie Search for a promotional code (it came out as the cost of a morning session in a real cinema, only I can now legally review the film as many times as I want). Found it in Yandex. Music playlist with the soundtrack to this movie, included it. Cut his own bread and eat it with a bottle of Teddy's carrot juice. It all has to do with this review. I'm giving you my atmosphere.
This film can be divided into three phases: love, action with deception and partially changing the perception of the plot scene after the credits. I really liked the love theme. It's a pity she didn't have much time. Although the film turned out to be already long, not even in terms of timing, but in terms of the saturation of implemented ideas, schemes, creative messages and some Easter eggs connecting Spider-Man: Far From Home from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The film also hints that there are many illusions in the world. In this movie, they try to show the underside of the film business through some allegory. The virtuality of the world is shown gracefully. Here, for a fraction of a moment or a minute, your “Matrix” appears (I’m talking about the film of the end of the last century, then like the brothers, not the Wachowski sisters).
Plus, I started thinking about the fact that computer graphics by itself does not attract me. Since James Cameron’s first movie, Avatar, something has changed. I no longer want graphics and illusions. I want something real. So our hero with a spider sniff wants ordinary love. And it's his desire that holds the whole movie, connects all the plot schemes. Love gives the hero the meaning of life. Why save the world if there is no purpose to live? And our hero got him. And the power of love, albeit youthful, gives Spider-Man meaning. He is even closer to us than Iron Man was when he first appeared.
Yeah, great, great. Of course it is. In some incredible way, the monotony of other Marvel solo spiders bypasses some wonderful side. Even when you already think, no, they won't bring it to a decent level, everything is gone, they take it, and bring it to a decent level. Mystery (but the answer is simple and will be lower). If all the soloists had this, or luck, or attraction, then yes, it would be even more painful to say goodbye to the franchise, and the snot would be twice as much. But hello again! We're back! Did anyone think otherwise? Nope? Okay.
Here's the problem. Who noticed a lot in the American scene? I mean, yeah, they're almost all Americans by affiliation, but here's the look. There are Asian-Indians, Asian-Negroes, Asian-Americans, whether Brazilian or whatever, Hindu, and even an Arab woman in a veil. The ubiquitous Negroes I'm not talking about, if it weren't for the Negroes, there would be a new explosion in the universe. Vivisection is gaining momentum. I wonder what this mass attraction of foreigners to mandatory roles will lead to? Probably to the fact that some Clinton Bushevich Trump Jr. will someday begin to really deal with this, and minorities will flood the courts with lawsuits. You are on the right path, comrades. Also, most of the incumbents and intermediates are overweight, because because you went to the theater, not to the burger room or to the computer, your excess weight is now welcome everywhere. If you have the money, of course.
The movie. The basic strategy remains unchanged. Humor. Action. Heroes/villains. Moreover, the film is primarily associated with Iron Man, which means that you can get more from there. Well, you know. What you don’t pay much attention to at first turns into very important things by the end. The film seems to inherit itself, it was already in HC 1, 2 and 3. From the latest films about the Avengers, they tried to take a sharp change in vectors, but not in the presentation of the plot, but in the interactions of the characters. That's a trick. I mean, Peter Parker used to have an unremarkable girl, and now he's after her. He used to call the avengers, and now they call him. Familiar reception? Of course, Transformers is a living example. But it's not infuriating. Why? First, in adolescence, almost everything is arranged this way, especially the first paragraph. Hollywood's way of thinking. Well, remember, even in “Fast and Furious” this is how Toretto and Letti’s ardent youthful relationship was described. So it's canon. More precisely, a stamp. Doesn't sound like an excuse anymore, okay? This is just the first ten minutes of the movie. Secondly... And Thanos knows him. Let's get a little deeper.
More details. No, I don't want to. This is a fun, exciting and entertaining film in every way. Why scold him? Why look for disadvantages in him? So decided the majority, and a billion fees confirm that. I won't either. At least for now (the first half of the movie).
The initial location was chosen quite well. There's even a bell tower that you like to drink to climb in Assassin's Creed 2. Next -- nothing, either. After all, Prague in American films has already become a mecca for filmmakers, so it is not a sin for schoolchildren to look, despite the fact that the ears are pulled to pain. But we need more points around the world where characters do nothing.
It is not clear why the development of the Flash Arch is practically in place, but he simultaneously praises and hates Parker. But I think they'll fix it in the future. With the characters to part already very reluctant, because under the wing of Marvel Spider-Man played with completely new colors, and in our time this is a real achievement. So give all the rights to Sony, are you crazy? Absolutely not. Thank goodness you didn't.
Perhaps the main advantage of the film is that they tried to finalize it in time, and not release what was originally planned. Almost. After all, the trailers clearly read that there will be extreme mediocrity and disappointment a la “Captain Marvel”. But, they thought about it in time, and reformatted from “they will go anyway” to “they will come out with positive impressions.” “Twilight” between the actors is forgiven and perceived calmly, because the film is primarily about teenagers. The action is in moderation, and it is quite deliverable. Actors in their roles. Until some very strange things start to catch your eye. For example, MJ suddenly decides that he and Peter are together. This is no longer a vector reversal. Just the film begins to accelerate in a typical Marvel style, throwing in different directions logic and motivation.
It was a description of the first half of the film. Now for the sad part, the second half. It's, spoiler, full drain. Suddenly, all the worst miscalculations and files of the series will come out. Again. The movie does a sharp backflip and lands straight on its head. And you know they tried to fool you again. Like Mandarin, Hank Pym or Tony Stark's parents. With a thousand similar stamps. And in "Homecoming" it was still goodbye, but here - fire. New breath, this is it. We cannot move away from the past, and we cannot build a new one. The veil falls, and the conclusion is obvious. When you do not know what to tie the development of the plot, tie to the obvious - experienced. The one that at the same time made the series and cult, and sent it downhill for many, many years. Stamps, stamps... Do you see them? They're everywhere. They're following us. They want to hide the truth from us. The truth is, the Avengers story is already worth it. And neither billions of fees, nor a ton of fan service and “intrigues” for the development of the series will change this. Accept it. Otherwise, a synchronized fall will lead to the fact that the bottom will meet the series with such a deafening smudge that it will not be possible to collect everything again into one whole. It’s a normal movie, it’s even the first time in the series that it’s been trying to break down the fourth wall and ironicize itself, but we know it’s never going to be better. As well as another billion fees. Oh, who am I talking to?
The next “Spider-Man” got to the screens of cinemas and again showed very good fees. I wonder how they manage to make so many blockbusters about the same character, but with different actors and scripts, and every time it rolls. But the explanation is actually very simple – these films are for children, teenagers, and there are a lot of them and they all go to theaters for the weekend for Spider-Man and the Avengers, and not all the dramas of action movies from the 90s.
Hollywood realized that now comic book blockbusters the most interesting and profitable way to entertain young viewers. Therefore, even after the Endgame and the completion of the next phase of Avengers, it is logical to make separate films about heroes who are far from home. That is, the plot is in isolation from the main story of Marvel, but which allows you to tell a little more about each individual hero. So it was with Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and before that with all the other stars, including Captain America and Iron Man.
But those guys got older, and the sad finale of Endgame forced the creators to release the next mini-chapter of their universe as fun and entertaining as possible. Therefore, the new Spider-Man is noticeably simpler and therefore easier to perceive than the previous parts. This movie is so vivid and noisy that after watching it, you can’t even believe how Peter Parker could have been so sad (Maguire) or serious (Garfield). "Away from home" also, given the presence of Gyllenhaal in it, at some points I was reminded of "Prince of Persia", especially when this same Mysterio appeared in a cloak.
Despite the fact that the film is designed for children and it has a lot of children’s humor, there are no questions about the entertainment part. Yes, the battles with the illusions created by him are primitive, but the most spectacular. All these spontaneous “golems” are painted well very well, and the destruction they produce is really impressive. But that's not the point. The most important feature of the film is Mysterio himself and his cunning way of turning the seed into a superhero. That's five points! Against the background of the still naive Peter Parker, this character is extremely inventive, and even funny, since the filmmakers did not make him a stupid straight villain.
Of all the antagonists in the previous Spiders, I liked the Green Goblin the most because it explained his hatred of Parker, and he was very technically inventive. Everyone else, in my opinion, was weaker. In Spiders and Garfield in general was a raving nonsense, I consider those two films the most unsuccessful and stupid. But now, in the new film, everyone came up with the right idea, and in general, Mysterio is quite a famous character in this universe, I immediately remembered the animated series. And "Far From Home" is finally the "Spider" that was done as correctly as possible.
There are no endless experiences, and if the authors make a sad scene, then the next moment immediately entertain the viewer. Gyllenhaal in his role is very good, I also remembered his first acting work – what dull characters he portrayed then, taking into account his special face, and what a hero he has become now. This suggests that the actor is strong, and can portray a variety of people. Mysterio is not a stereotyped villain with endless threats and a desire for world domination, he is more interesting in his aspirations and especially in the methods of “working with the public.” In my opinion, this is the strongest aspect of the film.
For the rest, cinema is not without flaws. I thought I'd put away half an hour of chatter and it wouldn't get any worse. But on the other hand, all this is necessary to ensure that fans of Peter Parker learn as much as possible about his life beyond the battles and memories of Tony Stark. How he behaves with his peers, how he behaves in ordinary life. It was all in the previous parts with other actors, but Holland is different, respectively, and the character is a little different from the previous ones, and it is possible, interesting. Not for adults, but for the target audience. I didn’t see why this movie could have been so bad. It's a blockbuster! Unlike many other prime ministers, he did not disappoint.
Here we go. It’s not the first time I’ve written about a superhero and I’m starting to notice that I’m repeating myself a lot. Yes, today the industry has mastered a universal formula, blindly following which, you can several times a year to issue a quality, cheerful, fervent blockbuster. And we, as spectators, are sinful to complain - the formula was created based on our own preferences. But in the context of cinema, such trends tend to become obsolete. That is why studios begin to play with formats – we are waiting for more series, and different, in different genres, settings and moods. But it's about the near future, and for now we have Spider-Man. And it just follows the less familiar canons. And damn it, that's great!
On the one hand, the new tape about a friendly neighbor applies all the laudatory clichés that could be applied to early successful Marvel pictures, on the other hand - Spider still came out better than many previous solo.
This time the spider does not sit in the Big Apple, and goes with his friends to travel around Europe. The atmosphere of school travel distinguishes the film from other films of the universe and from the early Spiders. There was a place for bright, beautiful scenery, spectacular scenes in unusual surroundings and good situational jokes between classmates. The whole film is surprisingly well tailored, but at the same time to a lesser extent gives the “rest of the Marvel” due to the change of scenery towards Europe.
Of course, they do not cease to delight the old-timers of the universe with a talented game, but Jake Gyllenhaal, who jumped on the fire, is not behind.
Nor did the main antagonist fail. His character had enough time to reveal, which allows us to start hoping that soon normal villains in the MCU will cease to be an exception.
I cannot help but note the fact that it is Spider-Man who closes the third phase of the Cinematic Universe, not Endgame. That is why this picture is so closely related to the events that preceded it. If you’ve been bothered by questions like “where and how did those who disappeared in Infinity War return?”, the film will try to answer them. It's funny, but it's not funny.
Separately, it is necessary to highlight the scenes after the credits. The first of them is an explosion of emotions for anyone who cares about Spider-Man as a character - no one expected such a gift from the MCU. The second is a surprise with a clown jumping out of the cake on the spring. See for yourself.
“Far from Home” gives a sense of celebration. The tape delights its viewer. It's bright, funny, colorful. And that’s why I don’t want to bother her at all. When a blockbuster can just give me a smile and a good mood, it's worth something.
10/10 and whatever.
This is my first such review. And I write it because I'm tired of reading reviews of almost every movie on this site. I don’t know how it happens, if I already don’t get most of the movies, or here at the site with the selection is not so, but not in that essence. Let's get back to our sheep!
A movie. From the title, I think I understand what I mean. For me, Marvel has long ceased to release norms solo for their movie characters (and yes, I do not care that the spider is actually removed by Sony, and Marvel really has nothing to do with the filming process, but everything happens in the same movie universe, so I will compare all the same). The only good solo in the last few years is... Thor 3. But back to the emergency, the film is mediocre, there is absolutely nothing new in it!
Spoilers. The plot of the film essentially repeats the first part, and here the villain, as in the first part, a company of people who once worked in the Stark Corporation, but were offended by him, united and decided to seize his development, etc., etc. No, seriously? Is that all the screenwriters had the imagination for? Do I watch a series where everything repeats itself?
A hero. He's essentially the same, too. Nothing has changed, at the beginning of the film, he is also sloppy, indecisive, constantly making mistakes, and at the end of the film he is only going to. And do not care that he went through all this in the first part, do not care that he went through a difficult stage in the battle of both parts of the Avengers, before you all the friendly neighbor, Man-Insecurity!
A villain. I am like a person who does not read comics, who did not watch cartoons about emergency in childhood, for some reason immediately guessed who the villain was. There was no unpredictable twist here. The villain himself, like most villains of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is "one-off." No matter how good an actor Gyllenhaal is, his character is not interesting. But many films where the villain is forced, even empathize with them, where you are interested in his story and why he became so, but not here.

The story of Spider-Man is a lightweight version of Kafka’s “Transformation,” placed in the context of the American agenda. The authors smoothed the corners of the original and instead of the bitter tragedy Gregor Zamza proposed a sweet lollipop in a red and blue wrapper. Tom Holland, of course, is not Ellen Page, but there are no comrades in the taste and color.
Having dropped the depressive ballast, the plot became clear to both adults and children. So that from the lightness of the viewer did not pass by the cinema, in each new story arc, additional meanings are added to the load.
"Away from home" tells in simple language about the ubiquitous simulacra and simulations. In 2019, raising such a hackneyed topic at first glance seems completely inappropriate. However, we should not forget that this is a film of the cinematic universe Marvel. Where the main conflict is often limited to a raccoon-donkey fight. The new Spider adds a small comment to this concept, which can not but please.
Tony Stark continues to treat the unfortunate schoolboy even after his death. In the universe of more than a hundred superheroes, for some reason, an unformed teenager has to save the world. A free society offers Parker the choice of whether to be a teenager, a superhero or a spider. It seems that compromise is possible. But even the overall tone of the narrative hints otherwise. Peter Parker, alas, lacks subjectivity and nothing can be done about it. The authors are not yet ready to take such radical steps.
New girlfriend Parker performed by Zendei looks strange. For most of the film, she is with a sour mine and sluggishly reacts to what is happening. This explains why she was chosen for the role of a drug addict in the TV series "Euphoria". Everything that happens in the new Spider can be interpreted as a delusional hallucination, undergoing treatment for drug addiction.
"Away from Home" is unfortunately an ordinary movie. However, this does not prevent you from looking for interesting details in it, as in a plastic toy from bright childhood memories.
I can’t say that I’m a big fan of a character like Spider-Man, but I grew up on cartoons about him and the good old Sam Raimi trilogy. Tobey Maguire is my Peter Parker and I don't discuss it, but the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one way or another, I follow, because Spider-Man: Far from home, I couldn’t ignore it.
The events of the new film about Peter unfold after the story shown to us in the finale of the Avengers. That is, we watch how Peter Parker (Tom Holland), aka Spider-Man, is experiencing the death of his friend and mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey - Jr.). He is tormented by simple teenage difficulties and superhero dilemmas. Peter is torn between sympathy for MJ (Zendea Coleman) and his duty.
The plot was more coherent than in "Homecoming." Funny situations and a lot of humorous dialogue. In fact, the story with Mysterio is a voluminous part in the comics, but everything is quite well laid out in a small timekeeping. Watching time passed unnoticed. All sorts of references to Iron Man and the events of "Avengers: Endgame" were very attractive. The film echoes other Marvel projects, but doesn't "tug the blanket." All attention is paid to Parker, his growing up, internal torments.
The cast is a huge trump card in the sleeve of the new Spider-Man film. I'm used to Tom Holland. I think he felt the wave of what was happening and everything was right for him. At least I believed and was imbued with the emotions he put on camera. Samuel L. Jackson, Kobe Smulders, Marisa Tomei and John Favreau look great in the frame. But you don’t expect anything special from them. Like old friends. Marisa Tomei the sexiest aunt not only Peter, but perhaps in the history of cinema. I was especially pleased with the appearance of John Favreau as Happy. There are also new characters and actors. Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), by himself, the hero is charismatic, and here also such an actor. Jake Gyllenhaal is a high-level play actor, he doesn’t know what a bad game is and even if it’s a commercial project, he catches the eye. But the choice of the singer Zendai Coleman for the role of MJ I did not understand. It is absolutely inappropriate, as it is fresh and not an ounce attractive. What did they want to show us by making Peter’s beloved an unattractive, coarse grey mouse? I don't get the message. Feminism again? Or is it already imagining? The visual part is made in Marlovsky quality. But, nothing fundamentally new, it does not carry. In terms of sound, nothing catchy either.
To sum up, the new Spider-Man movie is very entertaining, unencumbering, superhero in the classical sense of the word. That's good and not good. But after watching, there is a feeling of relaxation.
The new Spider is the completion of Marvel's third comic book arc. After the devastating final Avengers, Spider-Man's solo is a logical line of summing up and relaxing song after the heavy symphony of Endgame.
For the most part, Far From Home is not much different from the first part: Peter again unsuccessfully tries to keep everything at once. However, if in "Homecoming" the young superhero himself tore on the battlefield, now, after the death of his mentor, almost godfather, Tony Stark, when Parker must face greater responsibility, he, fearing to be unworthy, abandons it in favor of ordinary teenage life, dating a girl, traveling around Europe with class. But for mysterious reasons, there is no one else to save the world: Thor is again on another planet, the Avengers have fled, and the all-powerful Captain Marvel is busy with something more important.
Although if you do not delve into this, structurally and externally, the second part repeats the previous one: modest and clumsy Peter, wanting to do the best, again spoils everything, puts all his friends in danger, confuses the audience with his unsuccessful user experience with new sophisticated technology and again dries for another girl, and that it is not too conspicuous, we are constantly changing locations, sending teenagers on a Eurotour.
It turns out that the new creators did not come up with, they only competently beat past good moves, and “Spider-Man” becomes part of a huge roundabout of Marvel, where without viewing the entire movie universe you can not understand. Even the main problem of the main character is known before the beginning of the film, while still holding a bucket of popcorn in the lobby of the cinema, you empathize with Spider and the exposure is reduced to a couple of minutes - the viewer is simply thrown into the thick of events.
Despite this, the Marvel Spider is quite understandable, with logical motivation and real problems, he is alive. Tom Holland plays a funny, but not stupid, shy, but not too young superhero. Well, the choice of Jake Gyllenhaal in general I consider brilliant - charming villains (everyone knows that Mysterio is on the dark side, so this is not a spoiler) we all love.
Of course, a very good picture of what is happening, especially Peter's first attempt to defeat the protagonist, like honey. It turned out and scenes after the credits, with a lot of scripted stuffing for future fan theories and a very funny casting decision that the faithful fans of Spider-Man will appreciate.
So it turns out that Spider-Man: Far from Home is a logical continuation of the storyline of the main character, but full of repetitions of the previous success of the first part. Having occupied a certain niche of the teenage romcom, the Spider does not move forward or backward, doing bright tricks in one place.
To be honest, I didn’t expect much from watching the new Marvel blockbuster. Away from home. How will the story of the resurrected Spider-Man fit into a new chapter in the Marvel Universe, which follows the crushing snap of Thanos’ fingers? What will be the opponent of Spidey? After reading the trailer, the fears associated with this movie only became more serious.
Peter Parker is tired of being a hero. There were times when he dreamed of joining the Avengers team and fighting shoulder to shoulder with Tony Stark, but now he wants a simple school life: to confess to a girl he likes, to ride with a class in Europe, just have fun with friends. However, right now he has almost no right to this: most of the defenders of the planet went on long journeys, so it will be necessary to protect the Earth Spider-Man. But he's not alone. This will help him Nick Fury and Mysterio.
The first third of the film I wondered if this time the story will be so clumsy. Is this all that the writers have come up with? However, no. There is an intrigue here, and at least one relatively sharp plot twist awaits us. I will not say that it was impossible to guess, but the attempt was made successfully.
Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson and Jake Gyllenhaal, as expected, perfectly cope with their roles. Among the newcomers, there is only the character of Gyllenhaal (Mysterio), and his motivation and goals are quite easy to understand, and the facial expressions and speech of the newcomer universe hero makes them more imbued with them. In addition, the extravaganza of special effects accompanying the appearance of Mysterio, even more riveting the viewer to the screen.
In general, a typical Marvel film, which is a must-see for fans, although any casual guest of the cinema will also be able to appreciate it.

The summer rains have stopped. "Endgame" massively thundered in the world of film distribution, swallowing record after record. Fans of those heroes cried a lot. Thor probably began to lose weight by the next solo album, so it's not bad. Thanos really didn't have to know the Scarlet Witch when they clashed in a ferocious fight. In general, the epochal three phases had to be completed on some sound positive. The choice came from the most obvious candidate: Spider-Man. In fact, it is not now to make a film about the Multiverse of Madness full.
Since we haven’t been to the movies since the beginning of June before “Away from Home”, there was hope in my heart that nothing was lost yet, you can still see a great summer blockbuster on the big screen, like in the good old days. On the one hand, the John Watts sequel has traditionally coped with the task, because, guys, the camon is Marvel. On the other hand, no one in the room got anything. The ticket cost, by the way, 60 rubles in honor of the final sale, so that loyal fans could watch 5 or 10 times. It is good when you can not spend too much money.
The sensitive moment when the true identity of the main villain was revealed practically did not work. Elementals appeared on Earth is completely incomprehensible, therefore, there were no specific bad guys in sight. It was necessary to look for a sent Cossack, who by itself turned out to be the same guy who was waiting. Admittedly, “Marvel” again came to the forefront of the frail villain with child motivation. They offended him, so the genius of all Russia, so he went to take revenge on the Avengers. What spite under his feet was a Spider who did not want to be in business. The agent made one-eyed.
Since the murderer did not succumb, I had to pay attention to that Spider-Man, who was directly strongly given to reflection. Judge for yourself, it is better to spend a cool summer vacation in Europe, pick up a cool (?) classmate, lose, perhaps, the virginity of the month, than stick your sticky web in the salvation of a world mired in comic books. Tony Stark was still haunted, handing him a very important artifact of our time. There's too much going on with the teenager, and in addition, Aunt May has decided to spin the Cheaps with Happy. Allowable.
Clutched in the clutches and insecure in his steps, the boy still showed that after the Finale of Infinity War, all other problems are akin to howling the wind in the middle of the night, although how to see. Perhaps Thanos' threat was easier to deal with. In any case, the kid coped, the viewer is satisfied, you can safely say goodbye to the main Avengers. What's next? There won’t be billions of Disney next year. Some people are still interested in their films. Thor, Blade, Panther, Doctor Strange, Asgardians.
By the way, for 60 rubles you could still go to "Toy Story 4" and "Aladdin". We decided to choose the second, to see what the studio there once again rethought. After heavy viewing, they realized: it is better not to foot on modern film adaptations of animated masterpieces. What do you think of "Aladdin"? Nothing! I do, though. Guy Ritchie once began with hooligan author's offspring, which remained for centuries. And now... It remains to entrust the kinzo about Dory Wolfgang Petersen, “Cars” – Michael Bay, “Frozen” – David Fincher.
It’s about anyone: Tony Stark, who was remembered throughout the film, Fury, the Avengers, but not Spider-Man. What's "spider" in the movie? Suit, spider web? Take any Marvel avenger, put him in that scenario and you won’t see the difference... but that’s a separate topic to talk about. Is there anything sacred to the "writers" who remake classic movies? Maybe it's worth watching Spider-man comics, the original animated series is a sea of fantasy if you don't have your own brains. Or maybe it is done so deliberately not to distract the viewer on specific characters, perceiving the avengers as a kind of commune: who is not with us is against us.
Again, the Elementals... well, why are they all drawn to the Cosmos? Well, take Spider-Man’s classic enemies... it’s noisy – 25 again, Cosmos again, a reference to the Avengers. Are there no enemies left on Earth?
Let’s remember the original Spider-Man by Tobey Maguire... in my opinion, the only, self-sufficient Spider-Man, original, without any “trailers” in the form of a ragged band. There are colorful characters and an emphasis on Parker’s personality and a normal Anja, and not this miracle from the extras, which feels like forgetting words and gazing around in search of clues. What do the strong, burning red-haired beauty from the comics and this something have in common? Where are the actors in the movie? If you remove the special effects, then in the dry residue we get a second-rate Marvel passing attempt to make money. The film is not interesting, not funny, not original, it’s time to call all of Marvel’s works like this: Avengers 12, Avengers 13... Avengers 3135, lest God forbid anyone break away from the community.
"Of course you're not him." You'll never be. Nobody beats Tony. Even Tony himself. Tony was my friend, always in trouble, doubting, uncertain, looking for the fifth corner. But he never regretted choosing you.
Spider-Man is one of the most famous and beloved fictional superheroes of America thanks to the legendary Stan Lee comic book, which gave us a huge, superhero world with a bunch of already famous characters.
Personally, since childhood, I have loved the Spider-Man animated series, and then the blockbuster trilogy with Tobey Maguire. Then, for a new generation, there was a reboot and another Spider-Man in the person of Andrew Garfield with two dramatic films.
Well, finally, the character of the iconic Spider-Man moved into the Marvel Universe, and this young, beloved superhero began to stand among such avengers as Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, etc.
In 2017, the blockbuster Spider-Man: Homecoming comes out, and we dive into the third reboot and third story about the new Spider-Man. I immediately liked the young actor in the person of Tom Holland, but I am neutral towards the film itself. But already in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, the image of Spider-Man becomes more profound and dramatic. All this fuels the relationship with Iron Man, and it feels like the Spider-Man character will have a great future in the Marvel universe.
In the exciting film “Avengers: Endgame” puts a certain point, and the sequel after it just goes in this new film, which, in my opinion, is a logical return and a very successful audience in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Peter Parker is a hero, but for some reason he still doubts it, and in no way can he understand it. After the events, he tries to move on. He and the class fly to Europe on a tour, and all that young Spider-Man wanted to be a normal guy and confess to the girl he likes, in love, but there was nothing. Dark danger looms over the world, natural disasters occur, and Nick Fury and secret agents contact Spider-Man for help. Peter finds himself in a series of incredible situations, and his trip turns into a battle with an insidious evil as always.
Everywhere I go, I see him. I miss him.
- I know, too.
A successful, summer, fantastic blockbuster that gives the viewer everything to enjoy watching. The adventure picture is bright, dynamic, with a lot of charm and humor. The film looked with a smile and pleasure. We can safely say that the second film Far From Home is several balls ahead of the first story about Spider-Man Homecoming. The second Packer movie is more successful, explosive, atmospheric and, let alone interesting.
The viewer is waiting for a dizzying adventure and a cocktail of something cool and filmed qualitatively. There are surprises in the plot that even the most avid fan of the Marvel universe won't be ready for, which is cool. The new Spider-Man adventure film was even better, in my opinion, than such famous films of recent times as Captain Marvel. "Ant-Man and the Wasp." Everything brilliant is simple, and this picture adheres to this rule.
Tom Holland plays great, and you can feel how much fun and high the actor gets from it all. It is from this film that you fall more in love with it. His Peter Parker is a true hero, a clean, kind guy with a huge heart. That should be the one we believe in. There is a lot of charm and sweetness from Holland here, and the actor is good.
The regular Samuel L. Jackson was a pleasure to see and has a special character. We're used to Spider-Man always having a beautiful, white girl once played by Kirsten Dunst and Emma Stone. Now such a girl becomes a black, charismatic schoolgirl with a temperament. It is played by young Zendea.
Jake Gyllenhaal is a special and very talented actor. He finally appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He got the role of Mysterio, which we didn’t know about in previous films. The actor always plays clearly, and watching this is a pleasure.
The special effects in this picture are amazing. Along with them there is great humor, some charm of the film itself, a pleasant atmosphere and a chic game of Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal, so the entertaining film pleases the eye.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is an American, fantasy, adventure action movie of 2019. The blockbuster John Watts turned out confident and successful. It was great and we look forward to it.
You are capable, Parker, but you are not with us in heart and soul. Decide for yourself - are you ready to take this burden? Stark chose you, made you one of the Avengers. Heroes are needed. Me and the world. Maybe Stark was wrong, was he wrong? It's up to you.
Spider-Man is gorgeous: you can not take your eyes off him
I will not call this movie a comic book. To me, it's a teenage fantasy. In the film, everything is done as in a fairy tale (or rather, as in fantasy). There are evil enemies, there is love, there is a dream, there is technology, there is a superhero, there is a dynamic picture. It all shapes teenage fantasy. Peter Parker is a teenager who dreams of a girl. Love is perfectly revealed in the film. Parker is a timid teenager. What did I like about the movie? These are images of Spider-Man. He's always different. The film does not have the same Spider-Man (played by Tom Holland). Artists did a good job on Spider-Man. 14 artists led by Claude Paré did a great job.
I liked that the film was moved to Europe. The architecture of Europe, the Spider-Man and the terrifying monsters are superbly connected. This is a 4K quality movie. The $160 million budget needs to be looked at in IMAX. It's a very spectacular fantasy action movie. The most important thing is that the film has a new enemy. No one can explain why Spider-Man is so attractive, but you can’t take your eyes off him. Spider-Man is a hero and the world needs him. There is a logical link between the Avengers and Spider-Man. I really liked the joke (quoted from the movie): "News doesn't lie." This is a great joke about modern fake news.
Director John Watts made a very dynamic picture. What's the movie about? It’s about the superhero Spider-Man and teenager Peter Parker, who is madly in love. Love, heroism, the dynamism of the picture is all teenage fantasy.
It's a popcorn movie for IMAX. Yeah, it's great. And most importantly, it's very dynamic. There are new enemies.
Synopsis. After experiencing the loss of a mentor and a five-year shift after the snap, Peter tries to live up to his status as a hero and protector of Earth, but in fact he remains the schoolboy he is. He is fleeing responsibility for the world from Nick Fury and the public as he embarks on a class tour of Europe.
Opinion. The film turned out to be cheerful and sparkling, filled with the spirit of teenage emotionality and flavored with classic American situational humor. But there are too many of these ridiculous jokes in the film, which is why the viewer perceives it more as a comedy, although there are enough dramatic notes in it. I sincerely expected to see something more serious in terms of drama, but obviously the creators thought that the streaming audience would be enough of what is in the film.
Tom Holland is very convincing in the role of Peter Parker and plays the role perfectly! It’s very exciting to watch Zendaya as MJ, she’s completely different from all of Peter’s previous on-screen plays. One scene after the credits with flying on a web is enough to understand the originality of the heroine Zendaya! He who has seen will understand.
The antagonist of Far From Home was Mysterio performed by the brilliant Jake Gyllenhaal! At first, it sincerely seemed that the writers seriously reworked the image of the comic villain, but to my delight. the plot was able to surprise the audience. Someone liked this turn of history, someone did not, but the creators of the Marvel Cinematic Universe somehow once again deceived everyone, for which I am personally very grateful to them!
Result You should definitely watch Spider-Man. Far From Home if you’ve watched all of Marvel’s previous movies or just want to have a genuine laugh at watching a blockbuster. The film lacks maturity, but the new Spider does not need it much, because this is a film about a teenager, let’s not forget this.
P.S. Another half point for Canon Jay John James!
7.5 out of 10
Let's be honest. Now Spider-Man is not the main character even in his own film, he, like all the heroes of Marvel, has already become just part of one big picture, where he is destined to play the role of a secondary character. Really! In some parts of the film, it felt more like a new series of the series, which you still love and watch, but more because of the characters you love than because of the interesting plot.
How did that happen? In my opinion, there are many reasons, but 2 main ones are visible to the naked eye. Marvel got the rights to the spider and decided to add it to the KV, at a time when the images of the classic Toby Maguire spider and the youth-newfangled spider Andrew Garfield did not disappear from the memory of people, so a new hero was needed, with differences from all previous ones, but with his own personality, so that he could be distinguished and remembered. And here we have an incredibly young and inexperienced hero, behind whom in the first and second film stands Tony Stark. And no less (!), I think Marvel made the best decision of all possible and even though many fans of the comics for the second film in a row quietly grumblingly criticize the hero of Tom Holland for allegedly “not a canon”, it is still interesting for the viewer to watch on the screen just because he is part of the big movie of the universe! And who knows, maybe the truth will one day come out of the shadow of Stark and become an independent hero (at least in his own film).
As you can see, the part above was more about the downsides of catching yourself occasionally while watching a movie. Now let’s talk about the pluses, and after all, they are not small!
“Spider-Man” in the movies and in the comics has always been a teenage hero with typical problems for a teenager and here we can say the hit in the character is one hundred percent, because only that most of the film is devoted. The director of the film John Watts is not even parallel to the plot, but directly in it shows many moments from the school life of Peter, who this time travels around Europe with his classmates. Trying not to write spoilers about the superhero plot line, I will only say that this time it came out very predictable, but (!) from this is not weak and Jake Gyllenhaal as a villain I generally liked ... oops, almost spoiler!
Also in the set for the film is especially I liked the soundtrack Michael Giacchino, which I would like to note separately. In it, I would especially like to mention “The Magical Mysterio Tour”, and also very happy when the theme of the Avengers or Tony Stark suddenly plays inside songs like “Who’s Behind Those Foster Grants”. The soundtrack is good!
What do we have in mind? A good acting, a cool soundtrack, action and effects that are not needed in such a film are still at the level and the most important film for the franchise made the very main new round, which was expected from him. The final was intrigued, and the film itself was very interesting to watch and despite some of the disadvantages that I mentioned above, the film copes with its task just fine, so why not give it a solid 10? I can not find a reason not to do it!
The second solo Spider-Man looks very lively and cheerful. Peter Parker and his classmates are on a tour of Europe. There he dreams of conquering Mary Jane. But mysterious monsters and Shield intervene in the case. The action does not sag for a minute throughout the film. It won't be boring at the session. But let’s talk about the pros and cons.
Plus. Story and script. Overall well written! There's an interesting twist and twist. And the screenwriters well overlaid Spider's duty to save the world on his dream of living like a normal teenager in the summer. And we combined these opposing goals. Minus But, as is customary for Marvel films, the film sins with obvious pianos in the bushes. For example, the actions of heroes, which are needed only for a tick to bind to them larger events. And the ubiquity of SHIELD. Perhaps, the piano in the bushes is one of the few important disadvantages of the film. These flaws are read one or two and slightly negate the intrigue and minimize the epic.
Plus. Epic. The film is replete with beautiful locations in Europe: Venice, Prague, London, the Netherlands. Against the background of the most famous sights, hot battles break out.
Plus. Graphics. As always in the Marvel blockbusters. Great here. I think a 3D movie would be even better. The creators of money do not regret drawing.
Plus. Mysterio's character. He is well-written and well-written. And the role in the film is crucial. Hurray, finally standing anti-hero!
Plus. Nice soundtrack. However, when Led Zeppelin played, the Winchester brothers on a black Impala were immediately resurrected in memory. In my opinion, so is the idea of taking an obviously foreign sound in a blockbuster. Alien in the sense that it is strongly associated with other heroes.
Plus. The development of Peter Parker's hero. From an insecure teenager, he becomes a superhero who will not concede to the best of the Avengers.
Plus. Funny things that Spider and his friends get into.
Minus. In addition to the aforementioned ' royals', the film is stuffed with inappropriate jokes. Get rid of half the jokes and the movie will benefit from it. They are designed for the unknown, and call only ' Er, is it necessary to laugh? . . '
Minus. Dialogue. It's just the scourge of a teenage superhero! If adult dialogue, such as Aunt May or Fury, is normal, and Mysterio is even very good, then it is impossible to listen to teenagers! Their conversations are so empty. You can't call that a conversation. Some voiced chat contacts of the third degree in the social network. Poor phrases, well, I just want to face it sometimes. And forever shaking your head in any conversation, as if it would add something.
Minus. Minor characters. Well-registered here only the main characters - Spider and Mysterio. The rest are just for the background. True, the line of a funny Chinese man and his girlfriend amused. Fury and Maria Hill are not lost, but their story has long been successful for many films.
Characters and actors
Peter Parker. Tom Holland. Thanks to his defenseless appearance, Tom seems like a nice shy guy. Therefore, I do not understand why this shyness is exaggerated several times, making it grotesque. The spider would look good without it. And in scenes where you have to be determined and courageous, Tom is suddenly especially good.
Mysterio, or Quentin Beck. Jake Gyllenhaal. You can talk about Jake endlessly. In my opinion, there is not a single openly bad film with his participation. And even more so, he is well suited to any role. Great actor. The role of Mysterio revealed him from an unexpected side, and he himself made the character full of human passions. What’s good is that Mysterio has a background, motivation, intelligence and a good power for the average person. It would have been more interesting if the writers had dug a little deeper into his soul, but such a revelation is enough to admire him. At first I was worried that Gyllenhaal would get lost in a superhero like Scarlett, but the fears were not confirmed: the movie from Jake only won.
MJ. Zendea. That's who looks weird here. This girl is clearly out of place. First, her character is not distinguished by a clear motivation, which makes MJ give preference to one or another fan. Secondly, the actress either in her role or from her insolvency shows only two emotions: indifference on a stone face and embarrassment with a crooked smile. Okay. Remember Kirsten Dunst - what was MJ fire in her performance?
There's no point talking about Peter's classmates and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. The first is a set of templates and jokes for 300, and the second has long been held and just do not get out of the role.
The line with Aunt May and Happy seems superfluous to me. I think it was just added for the completeness of the picture, as it has no influence on the plot. Even Peter himself doesn't really care about it.
Who's watching? The film is clearly designed for an audience of 10 to ... well, a maximum of 20. It's very light, full of stupid jokes. Like ' Despicable Me' made a feature film. But I still liked it. You can watch it again in a year.
Be sure to watch the first scene after the credits. Why she even put after the credits I do not understand. This is a hugely important thread for the plot. Wait, there's an interesting twist.
2 years after another reboot, Peter Parker returned for the seventh time with a solo about his exploits. This time, a friendly neighbor is waiting for life without Tony Stark and everyone’s hopes for a spider.
The plot is as simple as three pennies: Peter sends a class on a trip to Europe and naturally finds adventures on his spider ass. The villain is initially known in the fact that Mysterio throws all the fuck is not news and why I did not understand the sex of the film from this mystery. That's actually the whole plot, the rest is in the action and the graphon with which, according to tradition, Marvel has everything normal. The fights are spectacular, heaps of explosions, effects and charms of modern technology.
Another question: What did the movie do to go to the movies? The answer is simple: nothing! The battle with the huge elemental can be seen in the third spider from Sam Raimi. For me, the answer is not obvious, why do people go to this? After all, the plot and finale are clear, all the films of this film company are stamped according to one scenario, only the actors and the number of special effects change.
The film can be put 7/10 for a good picture, action and sometimes skipping good jokes, but clearly no more.
A film that will turn the soul inside out for everyone who loves Tony Stark. Be prepared for this, sometimes watching the film really hurts, and even despite all the colorfulness and creativity of the plot, which will sweep you into a whirlpool of emotions and make you admire the work of writers and masters of special effects, after the final credits you will leave the hall with a persistent sense of loss. I did not expect such an effect, I confess.
Against the background of the previous Peter Parker movie and the Avengers finale, which didn’t hit me as much as I hoped, this one exceeded my expectations. She turned out to be very soulful, emotional and alive. Special effects surpassed the last “Avengers”, and the plot twists can easily be compared with roller coasters. The acting is delightful for every important character for the plot. Jake Gyllenhaal fit perfectly into the existing universe and undoubtedly decorated it.
For the objectivity of the review, of course, you need to specify some disadvantages, but, frankly, I do not even know what you can cling to here. I'll cling to the second scene after the credits - it was superfluous and upset me. And perhaps it is she who multiplies by three this feeling of loss, with which you eventually leave the room.

"Spider-Man: Far From Home: The Story of Peter Parker"
In 2017, when Marvel relaunched its next Spider-Man series, the studio said it would abandon past ideas and not re-screen the story of “a great force and its responsibility.” By the way, that’s where Sam Raimi’s original trilogy started and then had a fundamental connection in Mark Webb’s reboot. Kevin Feige immediately christened “Spider” Holland from this venture, deciding to follow the planned path – becoming a hero “from a teenager to a real man.” His words successfully conveyed the whole tone of the first part - what happens to a boy who has received such a superpower in his hands and does not know how to precisely master it. The sequel continued this work and did not throw the hero into the heat after the events that occurred in Infinity War and Endgame, giving him the opportunity to develop calmly as an ordinary schoolboy at the age of sixteen. A lot of trials, including life problems of this age - all this is a real adolescent action, which is correctly interpreted in "Far From Home".
You know, after watching the sequel to Spider, you immediately started thinking about James Mangold’s Logan. Of course, not the quality and level of filming, but the semantic load. I think you can guess why Logan is called Logan and not Wolverine. Hugh Jackman’s priority was to talk about the hero as a man, not a mutant living out his final days. And a human name would emphasize his design. There is nothing like that in the Spider sequel, but the idea in the film itself is well shown. Holland, as if from a real adolescence, squeezes out the words: “I just want to walk with my beloved girl, confess my feelings to her,” and his words are quite understandable. When such a responsibility falls on your shoulders, and you, at sixteen years old, have not yet had time to try out all the charms of this period of life - you do not want to, but flinch. On the part of the plot twister, Scream McCann did not lose and played on this winning plan, which allowed Far From Home to give a powerful plot rhythm that keeps the viewer continuously for two hours.
The third and fourth installments of The Avengers have played a major role in the movie universe, which would make the following picture too acute. Far From Home was considered the perfect film in terms of its logical conclusion - Stark is dead, the question of the succession of Iron Man is brewing. The most realistic option is Spider-Man, because the other heroes went on vacation, no matter how ridiculous it sounds, and the hero from Queens was chosen as his successor. Unfortunately, the studio got too obsessed with this idea and refantasized the script, betraying the death of Tony Stark too demonstratively than was required. Do not think that there is a certain negative thread in this, but when the first film from Parker makes a “hero” who must prove something to Stark, and in the second film to justify that everything was not in vain – it smells like a cloak of scriptwork. And not in the way that the filmed horribly or improperly, but because of the hero remains only one thing – this is the word. In the end, they get some work on mistakes, but it looks cute and not in time.
Every aspect of the film would be considered, not just the whole film. If the trailers did not come from the effect of “wow”, but rather the opposite, then with the release such emotions disappeared. In "Far From Home" showed a beautiful picture with a diverse palette, which touched Mysterio and "his magic". John Watts didn’t go overboard with action moments, as it might seem in Homecoming. There yes - John too often sniffed mini-scenes with "Spider", where he chases after a pickup truck, then jumps out of a wall collapsed on him. To some it may seem an ordinary movie effect, but such scenes can be shown differently - in short, they are similar and watch them not very pleasant. The sequel does not suffer from such a flaw, although it outplays Parker’s “human, ordinary” life.
About "Spider" Holland is often said that after so many appearances on the screen you can show the spider hero whole and real, and not a childish and naive boy. On the one hand, such an opinion exists, but on the other hand, the concept that the studio adopted about Spider-Man suggests the development of its chosen way. That is, not in the help, but in the assistance of other heroes, more experienced and experienced. Mysterio (Gyllenhaal) may not be like this, but his life experience is worse than that of Peter.
I don’t know who will fit into the “father duo” in the third film, but after Downey Jr. and now Gyllenhaal, Feige and KO will have to work hard to outdo two world stars. If Stark acted for Peter in the role of a father who in every possible way showed care for the child, then Quentin Beck (Mysterio) tries to look like a mentor. And no matter how much Marvel tried to confuse the viewer, it did not succeed properly. From the plot you expect the manifestation of Beck’s obvious nature, and Gyllenhaal – a colorful representation of this behavior. Surprisingly, both turn out irresistibly, and then you start thinking about what turned out better: “The story played or how cute it was presented.” To remind you who Mysterio is, the film contains elements of Parker’s illusions, which are based on his fears, and on which Quentin successfully plays. If in cartoons and comics these illusions were a cartoon horror movie, then here this is a real cinematic work, the enjoyment of which increases with each new detail in it.
The verdict. “Spider-Man: Far From Home continues to be a teen movie that mostly depicts Peter Parker as his becoming a superhero. In such conditions, it will not be possible to please all viewers and Marvel understands this, trying to introduce something into the franchise that will force the entire age audience to come to theaters. Far From Home has already been called “almost the best Spider-Man movie,” but objectively speaking, it is not. Although it came out better than "coming home."
Hollywood is so fond of tearing down all its cities that the destruction of a third of Europe is something amazing. The third film I want to wait at least to find out the next city in plans for destruction.
“Spider-Man: Far From Home” is the next part of a series of films about a man with superpowers. Something is good, something is bad, something is not at all. Let’s find out what this product is and what it is eaten with.
Here, I agree, there was some intrigue from the villain, because from the first minutes you do not immediately understand who is good, who is bad. Interesting moves with Mysterio, because at the beginning of the film he seems so brave and honest, and then his real identity is revealed. In my memory, this is a really unusual and intriguing villain, thank you for that. But this run for MJ... One can only breathe, because all attempts seem childish, as if copied from some teenage musical. "Peter's Grand Plan" - it does not look at all interesting against the background of the main events. Peter is shown as a teenager, an ordinary person with his feelings for a girl and a desire to protect friends, but it all looks caricatured. I fell in love with Peter Parker for the bravery, resourcefulness, charm and charm of Tobey Maguire, but here the creators showed only insecurity, an attempt to “recreate” the reference to Tony Stark when Peter chose a costume in a fancy plane. The affair of Happy and Aunt May seems something awkward and superfluous, because there are enough love stories! Even Ned's (Peter's friend) and Betty's "novel" seem superfluous, why is he there? After all, it did not even last, but magically ended as soon as the heroes returned home.
All praises, all pleased except Sumuel Jackson (Nick Fury). It was as if he had just been taken, crammed in to show some connection to the past (the Avengers, S.H.I.E.L.D.), but his game went unnoticed. Yes, the attempt to kill him was interesting, but it was not particularly fascinating. Instead of him, you could just as well leave his assistant, she would have done the same.
The visuals are interesting, there is nothing to say.
Bottom line: a funny picture, light, silly romantic stories, although there is a moral that Tony chose a “worthy” successor. All this looks through your fingers without the former empathy for the characters, especially in moments of “touching and romantic” scenes.
6 out of 10
Many were very taken aback when they learned that the fat point at the end of the phase unfolded on such a huge scale of the movie universe will not be the finale of the Avengers, but a new film about Spider-Man, the actions of which occur after the finale. Why is that? - From one strange point of view, it seems strange. So many tears and nerves have probably not been shed and tattered for a long time. We all mourned the loss of our beloved heroes and no one knew what to expect next, and suddenly it turns out that this is not all. ?
In fact, it wasn't until after watching that that I dropped all my skepticism, because I felt that Spider-Man: Far from home became a kind of panacea for me, or a strong shoulder on which to grieve. Together with my youngest and most beloved (after Tony Stark) hero, I experienced all stages of loss and post-traumatic syndrome caused by a five-year absence.
We see the loss of the protagonist and the desire to find the support that Tony was for him, the male ideal on which he could align and rely. It is very appropriate in this situation to recall the first part in which Stark was literally a mama hen.
At the same time, the film was incredibly light, I would even say old school (as if Peter Parker had few fans). It was like the breath of fresh air you felt watching the first movie starring Toby McGuire. The unfolding dilemma: the desire to help and the desire to live an ordinary life become one of the central themes of the film.
The film is very aesthetic. Views of such countries as Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic and how it is not surprising America unfold before the audience.
Another thing is that children are in the center of the film, which very thickens the number of potential viewers, since “Spider-Man: Far From Home” even despite the chicly staged battle scenes (when watching which you can not but admire the physical training and grace of Tom Holland), the film is more like a typical teenage picture – and this is not bad at all!
The bad news is that the movie didn’t have a lot of scenes in the trailers, and I felt a little cheated when I left the theater.
It is impossible not to praise the musical accompaniment. It was very, very cool and of course the credits! The man who works on them is just a magician.
Overall, the new Spider-Man movie came out well. Excellent graphics, good acting of actors and, most importantly, a competent combination of humor and drama, and of course, the ability to put a comma instead of a point. So do not rush to leave the cinema and wait for two scenes, so as not to be completely unaware.
“Spider-Man: Far From Home is the third Spider-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The film begins 5 years after the click. In one of the first scenes, we are told what happened to the students of the school during these 5 years. And if there are no spoilers, then we are simply given to understand why Peter Parker and his classmates are still in school.
The film manages to close many holes, give respect to old heroes, hide various kinds of references to other Marvel films (especially that moment with music) and wonderfully show the relationship between the characters. As far as the characters are concerned, they are well written. From Happy, Parker's assistant in his affairs, to the sarcastic MJ. And yes, as far as MJ is concerned, hearing all the cries that she is not a canonical MJ, it is worth remembering that her name is not Mary Jane, but Michelle Jones. It is better not to compare them because they are different. And in my opinion, I like MJ Zendei much more. The point is that someone played better or worse, but because the character is much better written and quite logical in actions. The chemistry between MJ and Peter is real.
Jake Gyllenhaal is always perfect. It works well, although there was not much to show him, still this project is noticeably different from his usual films. But it was very interesting to watch his character and his attitude to everything that happened. (The illusion scenes are some of the best in the film.) )
As for Spider-Man, I can say for sure that he is now supposed to serve as such a center for the Avengers. Well, certainly not Captain Marvel (who is constantly absent from important events). Tom Holland is perfect for Spider. In this film, Parker tries to live like a normal teenager, confess his feelings to the girl and just enjoy a trip around Europe with his friends. But things don’t go according to plan because of Nick Fury, who calls Parker on a mission that spoils Peter’s plans. And since in recent films Peter suffers a lot (especially because of the death of Tony Stark), he wants to recover and take a break from the superhero life.
I really liked the movie and I can say that it is the best Spider-Man movie. It is very funny, sometimes sad, at times nostalgic and just amazing movie for cheering. Well, very intriguing (especially the scenes after the credits), well, very unexpected. After such an ending, you want to immediately see what happens next.
The film exceeded my expectations, which is rare. The film is definitely recommended for viewing.
Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and his classmates go on a European vacation. Full of youthful hopes, the main character dreams that he confesses his feelings for Mary Jane, but everything turns out not as he wants. Suddenly, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) appears in his hotel room in Venice, who has very different plans for the young superhero. Elementals (the spirits of the four elements) from other dimensions have attacked Earth, and the Avengers are no longer there, so only Spiders can save the world. However, a new hero comes to his aid - Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). Together they must face the danger.
John Watts continued the idea of making Spider-Man more youthful and comedic. The plot is based on the most cheerful situations and lightweight history of school holidays. I understand the opinion of popular critics that comic books have become stamped in the last 5-7 years. For each individual film, different directors are taken, the moral component is often absent at all. But I like the concept of Spider-Man, and it reminds me of a part of Harry Potter, where teenage heroes fight evil without fully realizing who the real villain is.
Spider-Man is one of my favorite movie heroes since childhood. So I love all three franchises about this character. Tom Holland is a good Spider, he is a charming slob, a simple kind guy from Queens, who does not need a superhero costume at all, he wants to live a simple life. Popular in recent years, Zendaya also copes well with the role of Mary Jane, she is somewhat introverted, but at the same time smart and knows how to keep secrets. But Ned - Peter's best friend - is the main humorous component of the film. John Favreau as Happy is a wonderful mentor and guardian. At first, I was somewhat amazed that such a hot actress as Marisa Tomei was taken to the role of a cute old lady - Aunt May. However, she fit so well into the image of the main “fan”. Spider, now it doesn't seem so unusual. Jake Gyllenhaal in the role of Mysterio perfectly entered the big team of Marvel.
No matter how cursed the “conveyor” of the Marvel studio, the film of its production was waiting, waiting and will wait. Everyone has their favorite heroes and stories. In any case, for entertainment cinema - this is the highest quality product.
“Spider-Man: Far from Home is a high-quality film that tells about teenage experiences woven into the story of saving the world. Light humor, beautiful views of Europe and America, favorite heroes - what could be better than going to the movies in a very cool summer?
P.S. Don't forget to watch two pretty important scenes after the credits!

More recently, some 20 years ago, Hollywood was able to shoot serious pictures and this kind of fantastic, superhero movie, which really can be reviewed today and every time to admire one or another stunningly staged action scenes and episodes, for example, the first trilogy of Spider-Man from Sam Raimi, the first trilogy of X-Men, Men in Black 1997. But the more popular from year to year the theme of the direction of Marvel on the screens of cinemas, the more delusional and absurd the production of films of this universe becomes. This is some kind of pandemic of cinema of the 21st century, from which people go wild and with each subsequent series scavenge more and more slag in the form of a newly minted superhero movie, presented as something really worthwhile, but in fact - only a dummy, a commercial empty space.
In the next series of Spider-Man, our hero - Peter Parker, together with his class, goes on vacation from America to Europe in different cities, where he will face dangers. Europe, spider man, travel - something new, perhaps interesting? I wonder what the director will show us. In fact, everything is banal to the point of disgust. In fact, the whole film is three locations on which all the events unfold, namely the battle of the hero with the antagonist. Each of the fights is not something individual and memorable, it is the same type of special effects, manifested in the destruction of buildings, explosions and the like that we have seen over the past 20 years in various films like this. Spider-Man is also unremarkable, all he does is gallop from building to building, dodging debris flying into it. And it's all flavored with light teen humor. A very light, simple film, at once, without emotion, without intrigue, for $ 160 million, which in the world box office has already managed to collect more than 800 million and aspiring to the top. That's what surprises me. There used to be really good movies like Titanic or Windblown (the latter are still the world’s top box office with inflation accounting for more than $3 billion), deep, really interesting movies, but what’s happening now scares me, because this trend will generate even more of this tastelessness.
You don't even have to look far for an example. Let’s go back to the first Sam Raimi Spider trilogy of the 2000s and compare it with a live example. I will not say that someone played better or worse in these different films, I will say about the skill of directing and staging Raimi, because it was he, at a time when the Avengers did not feed this series about the spider with their hype, managed to make a really good and high-quality movie that can be reviewed today. In his films there were fates, there were feelings, there were emotions, which is not in the new film about the adventures of Peter. What is the relationship and relationship of Parker, Aunt May and Uncle Ben, which can be traced throughout the trilogy, as well as the triangle of Peter, Harry and Mary Jane, and how amazing it was for me to look at Aunt May’s flirt in a new spider, with very good shapes below the waist at the back. In addition to everything there, even antagonists are not just soulless villains, they are characterized by feelings, as for example, Dr. Octopius tends to fight with the artificial intelligence that enslaved him and defend his humanity, and the sandman is close to compassion and remorse. Therefore, in the turmoil of these feelings and emotions, the viewer himself penetrates into all this and responds with reciprocity, empathy, admiration. 'Spider-Man. Away from home' - again, it's just a beautiful visual picture that absolutely does not catch, even its abundant special effects that are all over and around during the fights of the two characters, nothing remarkable - it's banal explosions and destruction, while the first trilogy boasts of its well-staged action scenes, and separately worked out visual episodes that are just memorable and remain in your head, because it was really cool - whether it's a scene in a cafe where Parker saves Mary Jane from flying in a car, literally trying to fall over her hand from a spider, or a spider, trying to fall over it from the action. All this was insignificant, but spectacular, which bit by bit created the universe of Spider-Man, into which the viewer plunged headlong.
Tom Holland is a good actor, I've seen him play in the film ' The Impossible' and a really decent Spider-Man, which I can't say about Andrew Garfield, but what John Watts did is neither a worthy sequel nor a worthy restart of the series. From a comic point of view, it may not be bad, but from a movie point of view, it’s not even the middle level. A passing movie, expensive but weak!
I will destroy all the illusions you have about this film.
Another restart 'Spider-Man' the good thing is that the filmmakers chose a younger actor for the lead role. The rest is not so significant, so I will start with the minuses.
Heroes.
From the first part, the creators of this product persistently score on Parker's past. Okay. We all know the story of his childhood. We all know he was bitten by a spider.
And if the first film is about the relationship with Stark, then in the second we hope that Peter will finally come out of the shadows and reveal himself as a person, but this does not happen.
First, they killed a botanist in Peter. Whenever he is supposed to use his brain, he is hopelessly dumb. However, there are scenes where his intellectual replicas are thrown at us absolutely without reference to the plot. Everything.
Secondly, we understand that you wanted to show a teenager, but why make him a feeble-minded person who can only think about “big” love? He doesn't think about Stark, he doesn't feel depressed, he doesn't blame himself for his death. Where's the logic?
Some jokes are completely inappropriate, like the baggage at the end. The creators made such an explicit reference to Parker's past in the beginning and crossed it all out with one joke. Why turn Spider into an insensitive creature?
And that's just the main character. After viewing the questions will be for everyone. Not a single revealed character, not a single understandable motivation.
Plot.
I understand that superhero movies cannot do without various assumptions and logical inconsistencies. But there's a million in this movie. Wherever you go. I don’t have the patience to list everything.
Pros.
And yet I've noticed a few advantages. I actually noticed them in the first place because I've always liked Spider-Man. I grew up on cartoons about him. A bright sense of nostalgia helped me survive a nightmare in the cinema.
Of the pluses, it is worth noting the romantic line, or rather the interaction of Tom Holland and Zendai. I looked at the awkward moments between Peter and MJ, and I realized that that's what teenage lovers do.
Also a huge plus for me was the way MJ looked. Realistic. A lot of people would say she looked terrible. I'll say 1. She's a sarcastic loner, social phobia 2, and a nerd.
We are used to seeing the perfect top models as teenage girls. And then Zendaya 90% of screen time goes with a ponytail, her clothes are comfortable. Her hair is broken after flying with Peter. Maximum realism.
A separate plus for Parker's broken phone.
Results.
Sad to know, but there is almost nothing good in this film. They killed the characters' identities. Killed the plot. It's some stupid comedy they're trying to sell us as a heartwarming story about growing up.
Will the story of Peter Parker ever be told? Will anyone be able to tell it as fully as Raimi did in his time?
I like to believe I am. It is very interesting to see the hero of childhood in the best quality and with the best special effects.
In the meantime, back to the comics.
You can watch this movie at home on the couch. I liked the first part, it had a perfect balance of dynamics, humor, drama and even meaning. There's nothing like that in the second part. Kinzo turned out not bad, but somehow without a sweep. The time frame is one school tour of a couple of European countries and is shown as if the action covers a couple of days, and Europe is very small. In the first film, there was a core internal conflict - a budding teenager gradually abandons his life for the sake of a dream to become a hero, and the fall on an inclined one occurs so imperceptibly. There were other interesting topics. But in the second part, all the pathos is laid out in the fact that the boy wants to date the girl, but must prepare to enter the uni ... oh, stop - must save the world. And he doesn't want to, it's the golden teenage years, I want to go on a tour and on a date. Seriously, this is where the main drama is centered. However, no pressure actually occurs (the hero, so, sad a couple of times), very smoothly the action develops, without pathos and quite small. It is not necessary to save anyone - at least, there is no drama in this, one routine, the threat of the universal future star is indicated purely formally and episodic brawls are more like local showdowns in a computer game. In one location, we had a fight, we need to change the place and fight, and in the meantime, we will solve school and espionage organizational issues. But it all looks very easy and not tense at all. There wasn't much humour, just a couple of jokes. The spectacle was also not particularly impressive, in cool formats there is no point in watching, most of the picture is close-up faces. Special effects come in batches as a sudden switch to animation mode. There was a traditional moment that without a costume the hero nowhere and let the whole world wait, even if you have to sit at the typewriter and sew this suit from scratch (as it is clear to every girl). . There is no real, adult conflict in the film, all serious topics are somehow in passing marked, head-on and without inner struggle, only as a self-evident fact. But a few good ideas showed, even an unexpected turn. And yet this is a children's, not tense film in the spirit of the comic book for 12+ with adventure, a little morality.

Did I expect Far From Home? A little. And deliberately did not overestimate his own expectations, because, listening to the lines from the trailer and knowing the history of the comics, he knew most of the plot twists in advance. Absolutely all assumptions came true, but the impression of viewing it did not spoil.
Another sequel to another new Spider gave me two well-spent hours of time. And if my Jewish gut did not regret 350 rubles instead of the standard 100-150 per session, then I can safely say that the movie really turned out not bad.
First of all, an amazing visual catches the eye. May the famous Doctor forgive me, but this picture surpassed the scenes inspired by the “Beginning”. Finally, Feige did not spare material resources for the effects, or else recently began to overcome doubts on this score.
I don't even know if there's anything else to say. This is not a professional review, but a simple review, in which an attempt is made to share impressions, rather than disassemble the film into atoms. Because the film turned out to be holistic, quite logical and consistent, but most importantly - independent.
Far From Home is a Spider-Man story, starring Spider-Man. When reading this sentence may seem absurd, but after all, many predicted the fate of the Stark requiem or the postscript of “Final”, but in fact it turned out differently.
It’s a bit of a shame that Jake was not given a very strong turn in the acting plan, but in general, the actors and their characters do not strain, please the eye and punch on emotions. I want to praise the writers for a conscientious approach to them, as well as for the mountain of references. This is, of course, a fan service, but not as intrusive as it was in “Endgame”.
Music and humor are also in their place, it is already the standard for the most epic and box-office movie universe in the history of cinema. So I can vouch for the fact that the film will not disappoint you if you do not expect something supernatural and incredible from it. And I can advise you to go to the coolest halls of your city, where you can fully appreciate the visual effects.
Have a good view. As Falcon says, go to the movies and form your opinion.
“I don’t think Tony would have done what he did, if he were sure you’d keep it going.”
The most important thing that didn’t happen was Part Two Syndrome. Director John Watts holds the bar and Spider-Man: Far from home became that catharsis, that outlet after Endgame. The picture perfectly discharged all the tension in the MCU and was both a good epilogue of the Infinity Saga, completing it on a relatively positive note, and a separate local film about a particular hero.
First of all, I liked how the script was done. In reality, almost no blunders and sags, no plot holes, all the organic narrative works perfectly. One of the few films of the MCU where all the actions and motivations of the characters were extremely clear, and the events and phenomena of the plot have explanations. Very smooth and smooth transitions from humor to drama, from action to romance, no clumsy jokes during serious scenes. It is also visible (and this is one of the advantages) that the main character develops through the film, and in both hypostases - both as a schoolboy Peter Parker and as a Spider-Man hero.
Actors. Everyone tried their best, so I will focus only on those who want to highlight personally.
Jake Gyllenhaal – Welcome to the family. It fits in nicely, like it was always there. In general, I have a strange situation with Gyllenhaal - on some invisible, literally energetic level, I did not like him as an actor. Here he played clearly, smoothly and confidently. His interpretation of Mysterio was very liked, it turned out a very ambiguous character.
But most of all I was afraid for Tom Holland, because in the first part against the background of Robert Downey Jr., he was sometimes lost, so in the sequel there was the same fear – it seemed that mastodons of the cinema like Jackson and Gyllenhaal, being in the same frame with Tom, simply “scored” him by acting. That didn't happen! Holland has grown very much and rose as a professional, if he does not exchange for small things and does not waste his talent, then he will have a dizzying career in Hollywood.
I will also mention John Favreau, for he stands alone for me. I am sincerely glad that they do not forget him, because we can say that this is actually the man who gave us this universe, when more than ten years ago he was in the role of not only an actor, but also a director, and nobody believed in the success of a strange adventure project called Iron Man.
A juicy and bright visual! I think we owe it to the presence of a character like Mysterio, who is rightly a master of all effects, tricks and illusions, and they should be appropriately designed. CGI is just a film decoration and a pleasure for the eyes, there is nothing to complain about. Excellent work of operators and editors, no annoying super-fast balancing of frames, no cut-off scenes.
Music by Michael Giacchino. The composer brought back the theme of Spider-Man from the first film, and also brought some new and interesting motifs. The dynamics in the Mysterio theme can be seen perfectly through the film - when you look, you will understand what I am talking about.
Next down. I must immediately make a reservation and clarify that all of the above nitpicking is my personal position, which does not affect the unconditional quality of the film, just with these things in the context of the concept of the film or character I do not agree.
I find it strange that Peter’s second solo film is dissecting the consequences and echoes of the actions of Tony Stark and others, which makes him seem like a full-fledged and independent hero. Two films it worked, but in the future you need to invent something, change and somewhere to develop the setting. Also, not all jokes and gags left a positive reaction to me personally. I understood all the approaches and their structure, but somewhere in the humor too "squeezed". Maybe getting old and starting to come out of the target audience for teen comedies (not really). Well, the main complaint is that I really do not like that from film to film devalues the mystery of Parker’s identity as Spider-Man. It seems that everyone knows who is hiding behind the mask, although unlike many characters, maintaining anonymity has always been a priority for Peter.
After-credits scenes. The first blew my mind and said hello to all the old phages, a special thanks to director John Watts for this really brave and risky step. The second one was kind of funny and caused a snide chuckle, confirming that Marvel can still surprise us. Nevertheless, it is important, because I wonder if it will develop in the future, because in the cinematic universe rarely when something just happens.
What's the result? As a result, a good youth humorous comedy with a share of drama, teenage romance and drive action, with good visuals and music, as well as a fairly well-developed plot. There are just great references and self-citations within the MCU. The post-credits scenes gave a shocking start to the future of Spider-Man. And I'm sure it's not far off - we're waiting for the announcement of the third part!
