The time in which we happen to live gives us a great opportunity to experience the various inventions of human thought. And one of these is psychology, which is currently engaged in everyone who is not lazy. “Psycho” – “Soul” and “Logos” – “Science” or “Word”. A word about the soul. We know she's there. But it's hard to feel, impossible to touch. Which means it's not easy to understand. This is not just about the Russian soul. The trigger is made according to the tropes and patterns of the best representatives of its genre - "Lie Me" and "Doctor House". The type of hero is recognized from the first series. But the concept is adapted to the peculiarities of our perception. That was the feeling. I've seen two seasons. I will continue to share my impressions and some thoughts on this work.
A narrative criterion or narrative. Psychologist Artem Streletsky is a supporter of shock therapy in the treatment of patients. He believes that the only way for a person to solve their problems is to understand themselves and stop lying to themselves. If most psychologists nurse clients, listen to complaints about life for six months, sympathize and get a lot of money for the cycle of sessions, then Artyom constantly provokes clients: insults them, laughs at them, deliberately pushes them out of the comfort zone. Artem's practice flourishes until one of his patients commits suicide. The whole series is built on familiar paths and structures seen in Western analogues. The beauty of Streletsky’s approach is that it is effective, but this effectiveness is difficult to maintain due to the difference in perception of Artem’s work in the collegium. The one who gets the screws tight, just give me a reason to get serious. There is a strong drama and confrontation between generations of specialists on the example of Father and Son Streletski. The main story is revealed gradually, and in general, the path to the third act can entertain and make you think. But the main thing to remember is that this is fiction, a comic book about a cool psychotherapist who quickly diagnoses and solves problems outside the box. But as entertainment with salt and pepper works great.
Visual criteria or technical support of the series. The quality of the picture and the saturation of the frame grows over time. And already today for series from different genres there are different patterns. It is worth saying that the operator managed to deftly manage the placement of plans and detailing the frame. Views of the metropolis transition between episodes can be stopped and taken as the design of the desktop of their devices. The composers wrote a good basic theme, in which they combined such different instruments in one track. Whether you will take melodies to the music collection decide for yourself, there are worthy applicants.
Acting work can be pleasantly pleased. Maxim Matveev plays a character of different and complex, the nature of his difficult due to the specifics of his method. His history teaches us that every action has a reaction. The consequences of our decisions are not predictable. Maybe in different emotions, gives tears where necessary. Angelina Strecina is a younger sister and has the cynicism of her brother, but because of his youth he did not give his seeds to the depths where it rests with his father and brother. The girl is charming, beautiful and drives Matyushka crazy. Vladislav Tyrone plays well, tries to be a good boy, mother Marianne Schultz is too protective and escapes to the office of the accidentally met main character. It is difficult to manage the office and life of such a boss as Streletsky. Roman Mayakin is someone like Wilson at House, I won't disclose the scrapping of his staff, otherwise interest will be lost. Svetlana Ivanova and Victoria Maslova play well, both are interesting to watch, but both react differently to internal treads.
As a conclusion. The series can teach the bad, so do not use it as a guide to action. But there is a grain of light in the series. I advise you to get acquainted, since the tape performs an entertainment function one hundred percent. Negative charm of the protagonist, twisted plot and useful conclusions attract. All health, peace and good series.
Here we go. The series starts cheerfully, the main character is interesting, Matveychev very well falls into the image of a “weird cool dude”, such a sigma email that does not need anyone, but everyone needs it. After several episodes comes the understanding that the series is built on the principle of case-series, it maintains a relatively smooth pace of the overall narrative, each time a new patient and a little plot. At some point in the personal history of Streletsky was missing, the storylines in it became too much, sometimes I just wanted to squander another case to find out what there GG new on the personal front.
Streletsky’s assistants and friends obey the will of the writers, not the dramaturgy, so they appear and disappear without any logical reason. Yesterday, GG had a conditional friend / almost a brother, and today he rolled into the sunset, because he was offended by another verbal hamstring Streletsky. There will not be many more episodes.
The end of the first season (in the plane of the wife of GG) is my respect, for a long time I have not laughed so much from the absurdity of what is happening. And, importantly, this absurdity has nullified the whole experience and atmosphere of the first season – it’s just not the topic, as if she was secretly imprinted in the script by a fan of “pregnant at 16”. Wiping away tears of laughter, I asked myself, ‘What was that?’
The second season from the first is more filler and quite funny and hard-to-perceive heroine performed by Lena Tronina. The rest is the same, just with other sets.
A huge problem of the series - Streletsky does not evolve as a character. He is in an endless stream of perturbations generated by himself, as if singing in his head “I am sigma cool, I am sigma sigma sigma”. Being in the status of a professional psychologist, Streletsy gives zero reaction to the feelings of loved ones, to common sense, through the air – he does everything in his own way, “breaks wood”, and as he moves through the series only increases momentum.
It turns out, I watched a series about psychology, ghosts of the past, solving deep personal problems, forgiveness and all that, and in fact felt it as funny, absurd and empty. It's like I watched an hour-long commercial for a cellular operator on TV. Also Moscow-city on the background, also a cool hero in the screen.
As a token of respect for the show’s good spirits at the end of the first season, I want to conclude the review with the next ending.
I want to mentally answer myself to the question: “What will you say to Streletskoy if you meet him in life?”
I'll tell him, 'You can run away from your past, but you can't run away from your Bati's aggregate.'
If ever your soul longed for love and ecstasy, in the theatre that thirst will burst into you with a new indomitable force. Go, go to the theater, live and die in it, if you can.
Why do we love people? Of course, for their predictability. But with series, especially dramatic, the situation is the opposite. We appreciate intrigue in them, and the longer the author manages to keep it, the more fascinating the plot emerges. Fabulous intrigue is one of the trump cards of the series, because even by the end of the first season, serious questions remain, to which the authors are in no hurry to answer their viewer. The storyline of the picture reminded me of a polycarboxylate molecule, where secondary side chains, similar to comb teeth, diverge from the long main story chain. And thanks to these side story branches from series to series, the authors gradually comb the main characters, throwing paint on their portraits.
Immersing myself in the vicissitudes of the picture, I was once again surprised by the high technical level on which the series was shot. Like any book, the series begins with a cover, and it should be noted that the cover of this project is very bright, stylish and memorable. But, bearing in mind the proverb, let us judge not by the cover, but by deeds. The visual component of the series immediately attracts the eye with verified angles of shooting, variable depth of field of space in the frame, juicy colors and, of course, the play of light and shadow. It may not be perfect, but it's very good, because I've never had a picture cut in my eye, and I've never had a sound engineer. The soundtrack is atmospheric, no questions asked. Actually, thanks to this harmony of image and sound, there is an attraction that forces you to overcome the initial antipathy to the series, caused by the image of the main character - psychologist-provocateur Artem Streletsky. Yes, at first he is even a little disgusting, repulses with his appearance and behavior, but this is also a kind of provocation, which means you need to wait and look better. In fairness, I must say that Maxim Matveev perfectly coped with his role, carrying through the whole picture the repulsive charm of his hero. And yet, I caught myself thinking that in this work he was very close to Konstantin Khabensky, whom I consider a leader in getting a face in the face per unit of airtime. Even more often in my memory beat only the participants of the program “Windows” with Dmitry Nagiyev.
As for the acting, I would call it the second strong component of the picture, because it is difficult to pick out from the memory of a character who wanted to shout “I don’t believe!”. A powerful, downed image of a tyrant father, perfectly played by Igor Kostolevsky and familiar to me from the old films Garage and Tehran-43, a mysterious image of his ex-wife and, of course, the velvet image of his best friend in the person of Roman Mayakin, who after this role shot in the series Port. Separately, it is worth mentioning Victoria Maslov, who managed to play the role of a fatal patient, so much so that after watching the first season, the famous phrase of Vissarion Belinsky “Do you love the theater as I love it?” flashes new colors and awakens a smile on his face.
I think you can already guess that the third component of success was dialogue, because it is simply impossible to imagine a beautiful acting without vivid and meaningful dialogues. This moment once again pleasantly surprised me in the domestic cinema, which was originally built on the play of words and intonations, and at a certain point just hoarse and lost his voice. It's great to see the industry revive.
The main problem of the series and all the negativity on the part of the professional community are of course associated with the main character, or rather with the assessment of his professional activity. Disgust, rejection of the image and its behavioral model, the absurdity of some story stories with patients, attraction by the ears in some moments ... All this to some extent casts a shadow on the profession of a psychologist, which even without this picture few people take seriously in our country. I confess that a number of stories even stunned me with their idiocy. Of course, it is difficult for me to objectively assess this genre, because all my communication with psychologists is limited to only one meeting, and that, by the way, took place in the hotel room, and not in the doctor’s office. So I'm not going to go into this kitchen and talk about the level of lies about the profession and the lack of common sense in the show. Life doesn’t make sense, it’s in stories. And that's what "Trigger" is, and it hooks its viewer, transporting him to a fictional world, and as you know, the whole world is a theater, and the people in it are actors. And I think the authors of the series understood this perfectly, because references to the theater scene are present in each series.
Since I see this series only as a set of stories connected by a single chain, my verdict will be harsh, but fair. The series was shot at a high technical level, the cast is decent, and the storyline is branched exactly so that you do not go crazy, but also could not accurately calculate the main antagonist of the picture even by the end of the first season.
And there's a lot of fantasy and a lot of convention in the plot, but, as one character in episode 14 said, "I want it to be simple and clear!" That's what the show's doing! And not only that, because the presence of common sense in his many stories leads us to the paradox of reading, which takes us away from reality to fill reality with meaning. I think old Freud would have liked it.
In the dry remnant, "Trigger" will be remembered by me with a beautiful plot, the mystery of the number 16, good "psychs", thoughtful dialogues, numerous references to Freud's philosophy and, of course, the end of the third series, piercing and bright as a flame of fire, bringing purification to all living and non-living.
Whatever she says, "br"
No matter what I say to her.
There's not much time left.
Time speaks quickly!
And whatever she's hiding,
And no matter what kind of shit I am.
She wants to stay close to me.
I think I'm happy about that.
The main point is that I recommend the viewer 35 years and older. I think that at this age and older you can feel the life situations of the people of the series. This will give a full sense of humor, cruelty of life and love.
At the same time, please note that this is a thriller, which means that there will be psychologically tough moments.
I don’t have a psychology degree myself, but if you have one, look like a psychology textbook. Of course, this is not a full-fledged textbook, but it shows the complexity of the human soul.
In my opinion, some scenes actors play very theatrical. Conversation style, movement, or lack thereof is like a theatrical production rather than real life. I can't say it's bad or good. But theatricality brings back the idea that this is a game, a movie.
After watching the film, you begin to look for “barriers” that could be obtained in the course of our human Soviet-Russian domestic and working life. And some, you may find, and this is a big plus in understanding yourself.
The series is not about psychology, it will be interesting for psychologists.
Well, let’s start with the fact that I enjoyed watching. Interesting, intriguing, addictive and just nice to watch.
Good actors, good director.
By the standards of the Russian series - top.
Yes, if you consider “Trigger” as a series about psychology – complete nonsense. But I didn’t get the impression that the series was a documentary. It's more of a superhero movie. It reminded me of “Londongrad” with the younger Efremov. And to accuse the series of the absurdity of the method shown in it is like making the same claims to “Method” with Khabensky (sorry for the tautology), or to wonder why “Dexter” and “Hannibal” have 5 maniacs per square meter in each state. These are series with their own universe, with such “cases” and stupid clients.
There are several absurdities and roughnesses in the series, which, however, did not interfere too much with the viewing, but look funny - for example, the always "stupid" ex-wife of Streletskoi, who appears with bulging eyes throughout the series, as if her paddle was hit on the head, or where Streletskoi spends all the money - this can theoretically be explained, but there is no obvious explanation in the series.
In general, there is nothing to talk about this series - a cool, well-made idea for a Russian series, but if you did not like the first series - you can not continue. You will not lose anything critical and irreplaceable.
A layman's opinion. I watched the series in one breath, both seasons. Caught something to do with something. . Love Magic, Blind Magic, Divination... all have the same skeleton. There is a half-deity, a know-it-all who either sees, feels, or knows what is happening and how to do it so that it is good. Methods of provocation in psychology like Ti-groups (in which similar methods were used) have been studied for a long time. Personally, I was introduced to the Institute by our psychologist Violetta Petrovna. What attracts - certainly a great performance of actors, this is what Russian cinema is famous for. The semantic video sequence is selected in a messy way, especially in the second season - like a spooky machine: first in order, and then in the opposite direction. It's confusing. Of course, triggering is a dangerous thing and the reactions of many patients are naturalistic. But too much violence and blood. The father-son line, with all due respect, is very strict. I will not argue, but the higher the intelligence, the more isolated the reaction to many things and a completely different psychotype of relationships. In general, compared to other series, there is something to think about. But lately, the cinema has blown a certain doom and inevitability. Of course, life is far from a holiday, but I would like to live after watching. The series left me with an unpleasant aftertaste.
Doctors are divided into three categories: a doctor from God, a doctor - well, with God and a doctor - God forbid!
The story of a man full of his own psychotraumas, an abuser, an energy vampire, a narcissist and a sadist, who, on the basis of his own negative life experience and a psychotherapist diploma, created a method of provocation with which he treats his clients. It seems that the most seriously ill psychopath became the head doctor in a mental hospital. Well, let's say that all of his clients, like those mice that cried and pricked but kept eating the cactus, in which case they cried, paid money, were humiliated, sadistically bullied, but kept going to sessions. Watching this moral rape is unpleasant, and the aftertaste after some stories is simply disgusting, because a little of all this vulgarity, dirt and obscurantism will now forever remain with you.
Separately, I would like to note short scenes where GG consciously, purposefully, cynically and ruthlessly gives out such dialogues with episodic characters that those probably after this not only +1 complex or phobia, but also suicidal thoughts are not far off. There are psychotherapists from God, then this agent is clearly from someone else.
It is possible to admire such HG only if there is a tendency to Stockholm syndrome, in all adequate people it should cause only a persistent feeling of disgust. Sometimes it becomes scary from what characters the viewer raises on the pedestal of honor, because it means that these heroes find a response to themselves, their worldview. Given that this series stretched in its popularity as much as three seasons, the conclusion can be made very disappointing - the psychological state of the world on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

For the idea, it's a pity that only the worst of sides could be realized.
The color, light, composition of the frame is what, in addition to the plot dynamics and acting presentation, turned this film into a treasure for me and made the process of viewing an intrinsic value.
I believe that professionals in the field of psychotherapy can splash with rage in places, but the film product, in my opinion, turned out to be high-quality and holistic, without obvious and irritating blunders, drawdowns on the game, logic, dialogue and even more on the visual. The series is catchy, we need to pay tribute to all involved. I swallowed two seasons in three days, even though I watch an average of up to five movies a year, avoiding serial gum.
The first season involves and goes with hurrah – charismatic heroes, intrigues and psychological puzzles, a kaleidoscope of emotions. In the second, the atmosphere is different, a different taste – you have to put up and get used to it, but this is absolutely normal and vital. Some moments in local stories can cause questions or seem schematic, but the growing background drama balances the impression.
If you reject the consumer approach and the thirst for perfection, you can quite consciously get high from contemplating and living this series. After the original Dr. House, this is the second series I’ve watched with curiosity, pleasure, and until the end. Thank you and I'm waiting a full metre!
When you see a high rating, at least small expectations appear immediately.
However, I join the negative comments of some who pointed out the incorrect presentation of the topic. Why doesn’t the main character go to sessions? This is an essential part of the profession.
But the worst is the grief scenario, even from the first series it was clear that they are trying to recreate the intrigues of ala Turkish / Brazilian TV series, we are talking about the conflict between father and son, an attempt to deprive him of his license.
As for the reversal of the script at the end of episode 11, it is generally ridiculous, it is quite obvious who was involved in the complaint against the mother of the child and takes revenge from the very first episode, when he helped her and she did not disclose the cause of death of her beloved husband.
It’s so bad that for 22 years it’s a shame. It is very unlikely that I will start watching Season 2.
Well, basically a typical tracing of American films. One-story America in Russia. A psychiatrist like "Dr. House." The second season is a little more boring. But overall, it's watchable. You can see it.
This series is a real fantasy genre. The first season: Freudianism (despite the fact that the main character laughs at the book and does not advise his assistant to study on it, but almost all his questions to clients begin with sexual life, but it is not his fault but the “dumb” people themselves); parents are guilty of all the problems of children; the best and only job for a girl is webcam; wife G, who does not like it much, then loves for no reason.
At least I enjoyed the key story. The second season was just parasitic on the scraps of the first. And among the most cutting eyes of idiotic jokers: construction, showroom, surrogacy, OCD. I cannot describe it more fully, otherwise it will be considered spoilers. With each series, everything is more fantasy and fantasy. In the 13th series, it is a good idea to show the “treatment” through a conversation with the child himself (though they saved on the effects, but they could do it directly with high quality). In the 14th rigid banter over religion (where does the Russian Orthodox Church look?), there is even some Supernatural, the degree of inadequacy grows in parallel with teaching young people how to build relationships, at the end of the series it is desirable to confess. And of course, at the end of the season it turns out that we did not understand anything and there will be a third season.
For me, it would be much better if Artemka doubted his method and could not resist his nature. Then it would be easier for him to empathize and it would be better to understand why he runs away from his problems.
It's a lot of supporting actors that we've seen somewhere before. There are a lot of Soldiers: Papazoglo, Corporal Kabanov, Lieutenant Colonel Zubov. And Fisherman is Magic Burger's right hand. And Gena is Sylvester Andrejic's bodyguard. Navalny. Barnabas. Wolverine. Lots of actors you've seen somewhere.
Plus only in a beautiful presentation of past injuries to customers. This is really done qualitatively. The truth is that we were able to pull off the second season, I think. All these discussions of living pictures of the past look superfluous.
It is clear that everyone wants to associate themselves with the years (the Sherlock effect), but in fact we are only those clients, but rather Matyush, who fell for the coolness of Artyom Alexandrych, and in return received little pleasant. Although we can not associate ourselves with him either, because he is a fantastic character: whatever the “boss” instructed him to do, he manages to perform and never go to prison for it, or get at least once in the face. Of course, in return, he is not lucky in love, more precisely in understanding what it is and how normal relationships should be built (and the “boss” will not explain to him why it is necessary?).
Actually, the very “psychology”, methods of work, endless sexism, frankly weak stories, all the improbability and stupidity of what is happening in this series were described in other “red” reviews. Well, if you do not agree, then go to the “green”, they just endlessly praise the genius of this creation.
The first season was almost perfect for this setting. A well-written script, good shooting and editing, there is almost no annoying acting of the characters (well, you quickly get used to it and it does not bother you). Without Maxim Matveev and his charisma, such a quality would hardly have happened, but, for example, his friend, performed by Roman Mayakin, is not lost against the background of Maxim, although he does not have such charisma.
A lot of really good symbolism. For example, all season, after a severe emotional shock, Artem ran across the road with dense traffic and each time he was close to being shot down. Realizing that this is an obvious, but very cool symbolism for his psyche, which the circumstances were able to break, I told everyone about this scenario find for a long time (at least it seemed very beautiful and unusual to me).
In the second season, there is a clear drawdown according to the script, the “Wow” effect is gone and what is happening no longer seems as natural as in the first season. This is understandable: as situations have to become more complex and dramatic, it is very difficult to keep things natural. But I certainly won’t forgive the writers to roll back the characters.
All in all, the last 2 episodes of the second season put all the logic in my head that embarrassed me throughout the season. For that, I can forgive the season for feeling cheated. One of the last shots of Artyom in an empty car tunnel (as a symbol of emptiness in his soul), under a great soundtrack, very strong and emotional.
Separate mention deserves the screensaver of the series (opening). The stunning sound of “Multiverse – Everytime” under very beautiful shots in broken glass will make you watch it before each episode and watch it for a long time after watching the series.
It’s important to say that if you want to really enjoy watching, you need to be clear that what’s happening on screen is impossible in real life. We are shown the most common psychological problems of people, but they, unfortunately, are not solved in one session, because they were formed over many years of life. Therefore, watching the series is like a thriller with elements of real psychology, but not vice versa.

All the psychologists I’ve come across, whether as a patient or as a friend, have said one thing: A psychologist never tells a patient what to do. I don’t know, if everyone says that, it should be. But if a psychologist does not tell you what to do, then he must do something himself, otherwise all conversations are reduced to complaints about life. The surgeon doesn’t tell you what to do, the surgeon does. Psychologists talk about a problem you already know. Yes, all childhood problems are 99%. Yes, I can clearly state what shocked me as a child, and what most likely caused my problems in the present. So far, no one has told me what to do about it. We talk, we talk... I don't even mention how much these conversations cost. But it's useless. Yes, childhood trauma, yes, complexes. But do what? In the movie, the superhero psychologist knows the answer. He knows exactly what to do. And it not only speaks, it acts and makes the patient act. And like in a superhero movie, the patient is cured the first time. I don’t know if I’d do that in real life, maybe. Maybe not. Scary. After all, this superhero like your thoughts know everything in advance. But there is a result. However, this is a movie, in the life of such psychologists do not exist. As a person who is not psychological, I would say it is a pity. As for acting, this is one of the few shows I believe in, almost everyone. The script, although it raises questions in places, is still quite good. I recommend not psychologists, but psychologists to think about how to help a person, and not voice the problem.
The most intriguing thing in this series is the description on the Kinopoisk. Because then it becomes simply ridiculous to look at the played game of all clients who, as if by the same script, burn up in misunderstanding of Streletsky’s words and approach, then experience his provocations and the joyful and cured go on to live not to bother.
The most terrible storyline in the 6-7 series is approximately related to the wife of the former Streletskogo. It is necessary so stupid to remove everything and find such a careless and stupid mother.
The line about the sister is generally a line of a teenage series about first love and rebelliousness.
Especially all the female characters bitch? Otherwise, as a desire to make all sexists, I see no reason to make such strange characters.
Brother-friend, the owner of some business center is a psycho turned on women, what we are persistently told from series to series in the same way, practically. no development of characters, except for her sister, who just begins to be stupid in different ways.

for the opportunity to sway over the lyrical shooting of the look of the sister g at the running horse in the 7th series to the sad music of 20 seconds, it's gorgeous. otherwise you can not look.
A trigger is an event that causes a person with post-traumatic stress disorder to suddenly experience psychological trauma and severe negative emotions. This is the method used by the main character of such a sensational series. This method of therapy can be described in another way as the artificial creation of conditions for causing the patient the same emotions as at the time of receiving psychological trauma. The immersion of a person in such a situation gives him the opportunity to get rid of the “complex”, so to speak, “wedge”. In many ways, the method, of course, is contradictory, and causes doubts among professionals in the field of psychology, but still it can be more effective than “mudging” the problem for a long time.
Artem Streletsky is a professional psychotherapist with a rather rational mindset, and in general a fairly educated person himself. Throughout the series, he only teaches others how to live, reads psychological portraits of people, and in general says sometimes unpleasant things, but, as it turns out, the psychologist effectively fights with the problems of his clients. As often such people have a complete nightmare in their lives, so in our case Artyom lost his mother early, with his father a complete misunderstanding, the latter considers his son to some extent a charlatan (when the client of Streletskoy Jr. “shigged” from the roof, the main character was accused of bringing him to suicide, although Streletskoy himself did not see signs of suicide after therapy; the father offered his son to admit a professional error and get away with a suspended sentence, BUT Artyom turned out to be a very principled person and did not repent at the court: you just think, get 8 years and do not do something stupid, even now. Thus, the father left the imprint of the inadmissibility of the professional method of his son. But everything would be nothing, except for the fact that after the conviction of Artem, his wife will cheat on him with his father, after which they will have a child.
Learning after the release of all the details of the father’s turbulent life, and thanks to his environment, Streletskoy moments goes into himself, although he appears to be a complete “fuck” and cold-blooded person. At one point, he goes to a psychiatric clinic, from which he does not want to leave at will, he has experienced a lot, he was lying, probably thinking about everything, but still the death of one person who once cared for him forces him to get out of bed. After Streletsky seems to be getting better, he meets a girl in the clinic who has symptoms of severe depression, that is, she does not have an average state, either euphoria or depresnyak, and falls in love with her. Streletsky does not succeed in curing it with his methods, but the problem is easy to solve with medications. As a result, the emotional tumbler got into an average position, but the girl stopped loving the main character, which he warned her about, but not in order to dissuade, but so that she understood the consequences. In parallel, the father is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
Bottom line: a man who seemed to help his patients and cure them, even in a rude form, but he changed their lives, whether it is possible to call him a virtue, I do not know, but what he made patients happy to some extent can be said, turns out to be himself with a sick father, with his child, his wife is in prison, and his beloved girl is now healthy, but not with him. In fact, the person who made others happy would get exactly the opposite in return, yes, maybe he thought he was smarter than others, maybe he behaved with people like children, sometimes arrogantly, and taught them life without noticing his cockroaches, but as a result, he made them happy, changed their lives. Maybe it's his karma. As for me, the series very clearly reflected the real state of affairs, I would say it can be called life. But only one point is not fully clear, can a person who, it would seem, was engaged in a good deed, not only in relation to customers, but also to the family, to some extent to his environment, even if he was not a “saint”, and having experienced so many surprises in life, get such a finale? Yes, most likely, this is the idea of the director to show that everything should have its own price and, having once hurt a person or made some mistake, it will surely come back to you.
"Trigger" is a series that I'm definitely not going to review. In the process of viewing periodically visited thoughts to quit, but still looked. For me, 16 episodes is a lot.
Regarding the line of psychological therapy in the series, I can definitely say: I do not believe!
First of all, all the stories with patients, like a copier, according to one scenario: people come, Artem gives out something like that - they begin to threaten that they will complain about him - then he helps them - they are delighted or leave in tears of tenderness. Yes, it may be, but not 16 stories in a row!!
Second, there are many questions about the credibility of the stories. It's kind of a fairy tale. Some scenes caused a feeling of awkwardness and a desire to turn away. For example, the scene of the excavation of the grave or the story when he locked a couple for 4 hours for sexual pleasures.
Third, most patients are playful and unnatural. It does not cause compassion from the word "totally."
Not sympathetic and the main character with his ex-wife.
Except I liked Dan and Kiryush. Well, the game of Kostalevsky I. as always on top, despite the fact that his hero is difficult to call positive.
I know there's a second season. I'm not gonna watch it. In short, a series of "threes."
I will not say that with great enthusiasm, but not without pleasure, I watched two seasons of Triger. All my impressions are more positive than vice versa. In principle, I began to notice that Russian TV series occupy a certain shelf in the extensive film library of my section “Favorites”.
But coming back to the series, I can’t help but note such a collective image of the main character from Sherlock Holmes, who is able to calculate the past, understand the present and predict the future of any person standing in front of him and Dr. House, a selfish cynic who can put everyone out of balance. And the most curious thing is that all this on the screen looks organically, harmoniously and quite fascinating.
Without special education, it is quite difficult for me to judge the realism and truthfulness shown in the series of events, how much corresponds to the work of a psychologist shown in the film. But does it really matter that much? After all, it is unlikely that the authors set their task to document and show how our “think tanks” work in practice? For me, it’s just a scenery and a way of revealing characters that show us a non-trivial plot.
And to watch all his moves and twists and turns really want. At this point, my respects to the writers and producers, they were able to create a really good product. The same goes for all the other parts of the film. But I would especially like to note the work of the operator - setting the frame, choosing the angle and, of course, close-ups, which have become just a corporate feature and allow you to feel all the emotions and experiences of the characters.
As a result, we have a very high-quality and worthy representative of domestic cinema, whom I would not hesitate to advise all fans of such stories.
The second season is much weaker than the first.
I heard several positive reviews about this series from completely different people and decided to watch.
So the idea is that a psychologist gets out of prison and starts life anew, from scratch. My wife is gone, there is nowhere to live, there is no money.
But there is a good friend and a profession in which he begins to earn his bread again, settling in the next office with a friend. And the helper came from the rescued.
That's how it starts. Three guys. Three different fates.
Stories begin to weave into the main canvas.
It's starting to clear up. That the profession is provocative psychology, the personal method of Streletsky, which, as it seemed to justice, led him to prison. But it doesn't seem clean. He begins to search for the truth, facing new trials of fate.
Anyone who compares him to Dr. House is wrong. First of all, the stories are not so primitive. Secondly, there is no regular check for lupus, sorryhospadi.
Thirdly, you can trigger yourself on a topic.
I really liked the choice of actor. Maxim Matveev is deep, interesting. Plays non-puppet, not flat. It's interesting to watch. Well, his figure is just fiery. Bed scenes are so beautiful. There are not many of them.
The storyline is somewhat predictable, but there are many interesting twists and turns that you won’t be bored with. The finale of the second season was quite vital.
I just want to say that this is not the most believable series. Do not think that he will teach you anything or show you the realities of life. The content is more entertaining and entertaining.
It is worth admitting that “our” learned to make TV series. If you look, you will definitely enjoy this fact at least.
9 out of 10
After watching the first season, I felt like I had already seen it. "Major" is a Minimal Trigger. The plot is "essentially" the same, only instead of Karina Razumovskaya they put Svetlana Ivanova - whose game was simply cut out completely! Love Aksenova, replaced by Victoria Maslova. And all the other heroes, just changed their faces. It is commendable that after the success of the “Method”, the paint in Trigger became tougher, compared to the same “Major”. But, if you basically compare these three without exaggeration successful for Russian TV series, and discard the cartoons, it is immediately clear that three series from the same company are the same.
A stumbling block, and undoubtedly a feature of the series, solely because of which, I could recommend this series for viewing, this is the play of actors. Maxim Matveev - perfectly keeps charisma attention to the screen. Victoria Maslova, also distinguished himself by a pleasant game. But Svetlana Ivanova was not at all lucky with the role, and the matter is not at all in the actress, the character was forgotten to work, unlike the same Maslova.
In conclusion, I would like to recommend this series to those who do not want to sit in front of the screen for hours, it is better to just put it on the background and only occasionally look at the good moments in a bad story. . .
Already known to us fashion psychologist continues to nightmare his clients for their benefit, each time coming up with more sophisticated ways to reach their subconscious. It turns out that he is cheerful, and even a couple of new intrigues appear.
But guessing about the twists of the plot for me personally with each series becomes easier and easier. Who is who, why he does this, and that in a minute the GG performed by Maxim Matveev will get in the face again, and this happens in the second season much more often than in the first (apparently, this is such a cement that should bind two seasons inextricably). I never thought psychologists had such a bad job. It always seemed to me that the palm tree in the case of self-harm belongs to some boxers, policemen, firemen and others. But "Trigger" is clearly tearing the templates, although the movie stamps look like gales through the March snow. Take at least knocked out teeth, as indispensable attributes of muzzle (especially when the spit out tooth on its anatomy does not coincide with the hole from the tooth, which readily demonstrates from frame to frame movie character). Ugh. It's hard on those teeth. Or, when a person washes in the shower, and the water runs out, and even twice a season (but have mercy, somewhere we have already seen). Oh, yeah, 12 chairs. Or when jumping off the roof becomes the only solution. How do you explain that? Are the writers' hands tired of writing? But perhaps all sorts of techniques, including avoiding blunders, should be taught in script art courses? This was explained even to me when I was taking screenwriting lessons – that the final creative product should not be condo.
Psychologists are probably working on karma. Otherwise, how else to explain the fact that Artem Aleksandrych constantly changes the stiletto for soap, that is, one unbalanced grandmother for another for two whole seasons? Or are women interesting to him as cases, and challenge causes hunting excitement?
And how now to understand the intricacies of relations within one confused family: yesterday’s son turns out to be a brother, and the ex-wife is a stepmother. There's something to go crazy about. And I am convinced that the psychologist was right when he told me that every psychologist has a psychologist, and so on indefinitely. We see how "great and terrible" Goodwin from the world of psychology sits in a chair and prepares for a session during which he becomes a client himself. Buckle tighter, or there will be more.
I also watch “Trigger” because there are two heroes there (Artem Sanych and Motya) very much remind me of people from real life. There are coincidences! Mimics, gestures, voice. Unbelievable but true.
A good example of a great idea with an uninteresting implementation. And although the domestic cinema has increasingly begun to please the viewer, this case is an exception to the above.
Almost all the characters in the series cause negative emotions. And this, unfortunately, is not the kind of emotion that some Joffrey (GoT) or Negan (WD) evokes. It's just a set of predictable clichés that are rather annoying with their "standard" behavior. Irritated by the pejorative attitude to psychology as to science and medicine. Irritated by primitive rudeness and rudeness.
And most importantly, they are annoyed by the fact that they cultivate this rudeness and rudeness in the main character, who knows how to coolly solve any problems. Only now all problems are solved rigidly, but not from the point of view of emotions or experiences, but with the help of brute force, in one form or another.
The main character resembles a twisted version of Sherlock Holmes. He doesn't read people to find a criminal. Not to help or to hurt or gain influence. Nope. Rather, he is doing a favor, as if he knows best how to live for all the people around him. Unfortunately, all the other characters just play along. Although he is sometimes shown as a sufferer, he never doubts the decisions made.
Resume: Psycho-Dr. House failed. Hard and harmful character is one thing, rudeness and neglect is another.
“Let’s watch ‘The Great’,” my wife told me. No, of course, I have nothing against blacks in the historical series about Russia and I am interested in any new interpretations, but this is too stupid a craft even for me.
“We’re going to see ‘Trigger,’ ratings are fire, Russian, but not cops,” I said, and God, I was wrong. No, not that the series is not about cops (it's not really about cops), but that the "Great" series is stupid, because if Wikipedia had an article called "Dumb TV series", as an illustration there would be a poster of "Trigger".
Don’t think that I’m a snob watching Fellini with a pinky out, I’m, so to speak, the average viewer who doesn’t disdain Dwayne Johnson movies, falls asleep on Tarkovsky and enjoys watching horror movies, i.e. I’m pretty ‘moronproof’, well, I thought so, until I turned on ‘Trigger’.
I understand that writing a review on two episodes is absolutely wrong, but I was physically unable to master more.
Spanish shame is present everywhere, its suppliers are:
1. Of course, the main character, who creates some slurred nonsense, plays Sherlock, and in fact just a tactless cattle practicing moronic practices (on the stage, when GG gathered a party in the office of strangers, and then publicly humiliated his ex-wife, who the same no one knew, I applauded standing);
2. "Unfictional stories" of his clients, well, here it is clear, as unfictional as all the stories on "First";
3. The clients themselves (the scene when a woman comes with a short haircut to a psychologist and answers his first question "not your business");
4. All the other heroes and their motivation (I will take my woman to the party to the ex, so that what?);
5. Writers and directors who are not ashamed of their craft;
6. Film search, which actively promotes and rotates the rating.
But there are pluses:
1. I liked that the overall canvas and story of GG takes a big place in an episode where 1 episode is one session. Much more than we can see in "Doctor House" or "Lie Me", which, personally, quickly annoy me due to the constant self-repeats (lupus, sir) and very slow development of the main storyline of the hero.
2. Good operator service;
2. It brings more than a Spanish shame, at least something Spanish at this difficult time.
Verdict: The show is stupid. Not just stupid like the Marvel movies or Dwayne Johnson, he is disgustingly, disgustingly, stupid in that he pretends not to be stupid and everything that happens there is serious and all this is generously seasoned with incompetent work of writers.
1 out of 10
For a long time I do not watch domestic, but Kinopoisk so obsessively pushes this series that I watched.
Well, if you do not go into the nonsense that the activity of GG is called psychology, you can watch. I watched the whole first season, part two.
The main complaints to the writers. Not thought out a lot, somewhere sculpted inconceivable nonsense.
Each series is a separate case. In parallel, there is a line of accusing GG of driving the client to suicide and finding the real culprit.
I did not always understand the choice of scriptwriters clients - GG takes a 6-figure sum for solving the problem + for consulting + for sure for other expenses for "treatment" (a bonus to homeless people, former convicts for performing certain roles). At least two clients could not afford such a therapist.
Another GG office. In the first season, he takes (he lives there + his assistant) in a glass office in an office building. The usual quiet office work is boiling around. And here is a cool psychologist - with a brush in his mouth and a towel under the armpit in the elevator.
Of the actors I know I. Kostolevsky and the husband of the daughter D*Artagnan Matveev looks quite different than I once saw him on the network. So... all of himself brutal, brusty, insolent (in the role). Constantly show his naked ass or torso (why?! well, remove for him something like “50 shades ...”)
In general, all the male characters (more or less the main roles) played well, professionally. Igor Kostolevsky is perfect! Maxim Matveev did not disappoint (perhaps I will watch something else with him in the lead role).
And here are the women. A certain Svetlana Ivanova... It's just ZERO! Well, the part was written, apparently, a couple of minutes before the start of filming, but how does she play? No way! No emotions, colorless, tasteless, NOTHING! Googled and understood how she got into the “actresses” and those projects where “played” some roles. Perhaps another actress would have played the role of the ex-wife of GG, it would not look so ridiculous what the writers came up with for this character. But on the way out - then wrings hands - where is "my child?!", then "I hate him!", and all this with empty eyes and the absence of at least some facial expressions on his face. In the second season, the girl-suicide - probably the sister of the "actress" Ivanova - zero emotions, zero reactions.
Writer-producer Remizova wrote herself as a secondary character - a role of 1.5 words, but even then played terrible (the case when everyone should do their own thing).
In the second season, the writers decided to take from life fsho! Here you and the wagon on the construction site as an office (BRED!), and twisted detective lines, and again the same whitish ex-wife, who then leave me, then crawls to his ex-husband as for work.
You can watch. Fans of Russian cinema and Maksim Matveev in particular – must watch. But I put 5*, minus for a weak script and selection of actresses.
PS: I would be in the place of those who make / play movies in Russia, I would definitely read the reviews of those who watch this movie.
At first glance, it seems as if we are facing a detective series about a psychologist with unconventional methods and an unsuccessful personal life. However, if you look deeper, it seems that Sherlock Holmes is a mutant again. Without any identity or originality.
His method is simple – the more offend the client, the faster he will recover. It is a good excuse for violence in the name of human welfare.
It’s amazing how the writers are not tired of chewing the story of a lonely, insolent genius. The more brazen and rude a superhero, the stronger his super-power.
The content and form of this series are no different from Western analogues, more precisely, samples (from Dr. House, bbc Sherlock and a bunch of other less budgetary and successful). I can’t say whether it looks more miserable or equal, but it’s definitely not what I would like to see as a Russian audience. Template scenes of despair to a sad rock motif in English, made-up problems and twists sucked out of a finger. Moscow-Mordor with corrupt bourgeois and aggressive beauties. Very boring, very predictable. I don’t understand how this series managed to get to the top.
As for acting, I will not judge anyone, because it is difficult to do anything good in such a scenario.
As a psychologist, I have no words. There are so many shoals in the film that it is impossible to watch. People develop completely wild ideas about the work of a psychologist and it is depressing. After all, people in our country are so afraid to go to solve their problems because of Soviet stereotypes. I’ve watched the first episode and I don’t know if I’ll watch the second. I was outraged.
1 In a paid VIP clinic, a minor undergraduate, rude to clients. Now the selection criteria are such that such a miracle Yudo even free will not accept.
2 If a person gripped by a keen sense of guilt shouts - You are guilty! - he agrees - Yes, I am guilty, I have no forgiveness I deserve to die, but will not begin to argue, proving the opposite.
3 Suicide is a symptom of severe depression and guilt. With him, powerful antidepressants are prescribed, but not an aminazine straitjacket. Aminazine is prescribed to violent schizophrenics and psychotics. The key symptom of depression is weakness and apathy, diametrically opposite phenomena.
4. a real psychologist or psychotherapist - one who with a diploma, personal therapy and supervision will not work without a request. The situation when a psychologist breaks into a client and convinces him of the need to work is nonsense even by the standards of the film. The film was positioned as a drama about a psychologist, and not as a fantasy about a psychologist.
6 An outspoken reference to Sherlock, guessing the details of a client's life, is inappropriate. A psychologist is not a detective or a magician. The customer must have a request! In real life, it is the client who tells the psychologist all the details. The task of a psychologist is not to guess what is happening to the client, but to teach him to contact himself and others, to understand, accept and support himself.
Of the pluses, I can note good directing and acting.
Artem Aleksandrovich Streletsky is a psychologist who practices his own unique method of healing - provocative psychology. The method is based on the fact that in just 2 sessions, the patient/client gets rid of the psychological problem by means of harsh measures on the part of the psychologist, namely: he encounters a traumatic event (usually from childhood - nothing new) - the so-called trigger that started a chain of events that led to the problem with which the patient turns to the psychologist. Always an inconvenient exit from the comfort zone, open truth in the eyes and questions in the forehead, forced recognition of a real problem, not a fictional one - this is how Artem works, and therefore blows to the face and the phrase "are you sick?", "are you a psychologist?", "I will sue you" etc. - usual for him.
And despite all this, such a specialist as Artem is very popular not only among well-to-do and sufficiently wealthy people (about 20,000 rubles for departure), but also among ordinary people who, realizing that if he is able to relieve them of tormenting psychological anxiety, they are ready to pay for it. For such people, Artem acts as a real humanist (making a discount or even helping for free), the purpose of which is not profit, but a real need for help - a messiah complex, megalomania - whatever you want to call it, but the fact remains - it does not matter how, but it helps people. What can not be said about the cohort of “ordinary” psychologists / psychotherapists who are not interested in helping people, it is more profitable for them to have a constant base of clients who will walk and pay for years, long wiping the patient’s leather chairs in the offices of expensive business centers.
It would not be so interesting if there was not a fierce competitor, which is the father of Artem - also a practicing psychologist, condemning and not accepting the method of his son and in every way trying to put a stick in the wheels of his professional activity. All this he does exclusively out of a deep sense of love and ... guilt, which turns out to be so that he himself on 1 fine day is not without hesitation forced to seek help from his own son, just to get rid of the pangs of conscience.
But not everything is so smooth in the measured life of Artem - yes, there is a rebellious father and no less rebellious teenage sister, but there is a wife, a stable income and not the pursuit of profit. In the end, his method allegedly misfires, which entailed a prison term of 8 years under article 110 paragraph 1 of the criminal code (inducement or assistance to commit suicide). He is not only strange, atypical, narcissistic, for some genius, but also straightforward and principled, and therefore the matter could end in a digestible agreement for both parties, but no. And so in fact - serving 4 years, release on parole and then the resumption of individual practice not without the help of a patron friend who fits a new iPhone, creates a site on the top lines of the search, gives shelter, and he is the same office in the building, which owns. The world is not without kind people, and in this regard Artem is very lucky, although he is not always able to understand this and appreciate it. He is not a saint, and therefore believes that “in psychologists go sick people who are not able to help themselves in the 1st turn, but think that they are able to heal others.”
I do not know whether there is such a technique and specialists in reality, and I would dare to do this, but I admit the idea that the situations described in the series as cases of appeal to Artem are very vital and not far-fetched. The mother did not beat the boy and he now hates women, the father did not kill the daughter and now she is simply unable to find a husband because of intimophobia (fear of close relationships), the wife does not love her husband, the husband does not love his wife, although on the surface everything is normal and well, addictions, fears, the inability to get pregnant not because of infertility, but because of psychosomatics, which again caused childhood trauma, inflicting physical pain to reduce mental pain - all this goes next to us, since there are absolutely healthy mental people, they simply do not exist, because, alas, life is so arranged that we all have trauma.
The number of crippled fates, a sick psyche, phobias, anxiety, panic attacks, manias, as well as belief in the uniqueness of his own method and obvious effectiveness - all this allows Artem not to remain unclaimed in our sick society.
The series itself is interesting, it is not boring to watch, but watching the game of the tall, slender, attractive Maxim Matveev with beautiful eyes and a piercing look is just delight. I’m really shocked that Mediator has a higher rating than Trigger, which is just nonsense shared by many who have watched both shows. The incomprehensible psychophysics of the characters, the manner of behavior and speech in the “Mediator” (in the film about the film, the director Aksenenko explains this allegedly with a special feature – there is an emoji of incomprehensibility), the sluggish narrative and the entanglement of the storylines simply destroy interest in the series, in contrast to “Trigger”, where there is constant emotional involvement, nerve, cool dialogue and concern for human fate. So you must see.
The topic of psychology is the most relevant recently, so series devoted to such problems have the strongest return from the viewer.
Trigger is a process in which a person experiences the most acute emotions caused by injuries. That is, certain events can become a trigger for a person to feel his problem and all the internal experiences associated with it. The process is unpleasant to say the least, but as shown in the plot is very effective.
Artem Streletsky is a psychologist who is not used to siphoning money from his patients, on the contrary, he scares away potential customers more with his methods than he attracts and earns from them.
The series is quite depressing, but effective. Not only do you immerse yourself in events, but you also work through certain traumas and thoughts. Of course, if there are problems, viewing a picture will not replace a trip to a psychiatrist, even perhaps, on the contrary, you should not watch it, because the light, music, style and presentation escalate the situation. Moreover, this thickening of colors occurs not as in a thriller, but as in a complex psychological series.
The plot is interesting, unbeaten, and understandable.
The main story thread along with the hero goes through the entire series, but in each series new characters appear, which remain in only one series. I love this structure: you are interested in watching the life of the protagonist, but each time you learn new stories, thanks to this series does not seem long.
Very well fit here is Maxim Matveev, lately the actor is in high demand, trying on images from Sherlock Holmes to a confused psychologist. He has a male charisma, and a cunning look, and reads vulnerability, I really like how he learned to reincarnate from one character to another.
The series can be compared to its successor, The Mediator, a very similar structure, plot, idea.
8 out of 10
This is a rare series that is based on really modern technologies of psychonalysis. In this case, Farelli, provocative psychoanalysis. You can find his sessions online. They are in themselves like a fascinating film, it is impossible to come off.
The essence of the method is that the psychoanalyst asks seemingly simple and often inappropriate questions with a dose of humor, at some point he discovers the real problem of the patient. Often the client speaks it himself.
And how the movie is illustrated is excellent. Well-chosen heroes. There's intrigue. And most importantly, the tension. Tension of human relationships. At the moment when Maksim Matveev appears in the frame, we already know that there will be something unusual, shocking, funny or tragic. It's almost Sherlock.
The storyline related to the main patient who lost her husband raises questions, especially in terms of the denouement. But overall, it's done well. In terms of description of dependence. Dependence can be not only on alcohol, drugs, but also on a person.
Particular attention is paid to the relationship between a man and a woman. Everything here is very modern. And at the same time, the screenwriters excavate the most archaic complexes that have haunted us almost since the times of tribal relations.
It's really cool. Very rare film in terms of reality and quality.
I advise everyone. It helps you understand yourself better.
I've always been interested in psychology. After watching the psychological series “Being Erica”, “Patients”, I thought about a new series. And my choice fell on the Russian series “Trigger”. In the beginning, there were doubts about whether to watch the series of Russian production. They had never been in me before. I took a risk and didn’t lose.
Naturally, there is a lot of fiction in the film, and even Frank Farrelly, the founder of provocative psychology, could not cure the patient in just a couple of sessions. There are many passions in the film, the personal life of the hero from series to series is bubbling with events. It is difficult to imagine how a normal person can cope with so much heat and turmoil. But Artem copes with both his own difficulties and with others.
His method is based on introducing a person to a state of shock. As the consultant of this series Sergey Nasibyan admits, he never set his patients on fire in the barn. It is because of this exaggeration that the picture looks spectacular and exciting.
Frank Farrely, the founder of this method, invented it quite by accident, trying to cure mentally ill patients in a psychiatric hospital. He noticed that when he was telling the truth, he was not restrained in his expressions, shouting - it was pushing patients out of their cocoons. Surprisingly, such psychotherapy had a greater therapeutic effect than classical therapy.
The hero of the film Artem Streletsky also does not restrain himself in expressions, provoking patients to bold steps. He believes that a person can change immediately without long and tedious digging in the past. He just needs to decide to cross the line and start acting in a new way. Discard all fears, pave the path of new neural connections.
Many psychologists praised the series, although they agreed that it was too surreal for real life. I liked the show. It shows the clumps of our psyche, our brain. How difficult it is to change and let go of your life. But if something clicked in him and he decided to take this step, his life changes dramatically for the better. He becomes a new person, a person free from prejudice and limiting beliefs. And most importantly, such a person becomes happy.
