Alexei /Konstantin Khabensky / - commander of the brigade of paratroopers-firefighters
Katya /Stasya Miloslavskaya / - daughter of Alexei, works in the Ministry of Emergency Situations as a dispatcher
Roman / Ivan Yankovsky / - Katya's boyfriend, firefighter-recruit
Konstantin / Anton Bogdanov / - firefighter, dreams of commanding a brigade himself, married, has two children
Peter / Victor Dobronravov / - firefighter, almost does not speak, because he closed himself in after a personal tragedy
Sergey / Roman Kurtsyn / - firefighter, strong and brave, in love with the employee of the dining room, does not shine, but the guy is reliable
Maxim / Tikhon Zhiznevsky / - firefighter, cheerful and sociable, directs amateur activities on the basis
Georich / Yuri Kuznetsov / - the head of the village, which stands in the way of fire
Zoya / Irina Gorbacheva / - a girl who came to the village to visit her relatives for a wedding, is about to give birth
Nina / Evgenia Dmitrieva / Mother of Zoya
Okopych /Victor Sukhorukov / - helicopter pilot, beekeeper, strange, but precocious man
Vladimir /Andrey Smolyakov / — the head of "Avialesokhrand"
I suddenly liked the movie “Fire”. And even more unexpectedly, I really liked it. Of course, most of my “liked” provided Khabensky. Beautiful, organic, natural and trustworthy. The others are good. But the whole story is also good.
You know, the film has a big drawback, a big drawback, but even with it, I had a lot of fun, a lot of rumour and a lot of anxiety. The music and sounds were exactly where they needed to be to emotionally hurt the viewer. The picture is also excellent - this is not the nineties or the beginning of the two thousandth. In general, they can shoot here, I definitely believe in Russian cinema now.
The film has awards Golden Eagle in the nominations Best Supporting Actor /Ivan Yankovsky - well ... generally agree /, Best Supporting Female Role /Irina Gorbacheva - completely disagree / and Best sound engineer /Absolutely agree and even ready to applaud /.
She was also nominated for this award in the categories Best Film, Best Actor /Konstantin Khabensky. The award this year was given to Philip Jankovsky for Ivan Denisovich. A completely different hero, but Ivan’s work is very strong, so the award went to him deservedly /, Best Operator’s Work, Best Music, Best Special Effects.
I highly recommend the painting. The movie "Fire" is almost like fire. I can’t talk about the disadvantages, because I’ll have to spoil, but overall it’s a very good picture.
After 3 years after the release, I finally got to see the acclaimed film by Alexei Needy - "Fire". To say that expectations were met is to say nothing. High-quality, intriguing and human cinema!
The film tells about a brigade of firefighters who go to fight the fire in the forests of Karelia. Heroes must face unexpected challenges and make difficult but necessary decisions.
Before watching it, I was very afraid that ‘Fire’ would be a copy of the 2017 film ‘The Case of the Brave’. And at first I saw the same picture, but with different actors. Everything changed when the heroes of Tikhon Zhiznevsky and Viktor Dobronravov received the storylines. This is the main difference between the two films. We want to show the dedication and mutual assistance that people resort to at the right time! Therefore, those who think that these two films are the same, go abroad xD However, let’s get to the details.
As you can see from the title, the main enemy of the heroes is fire. He is willful, dangerous and unpredictable. All this is perfectly conveyed through the screen. It is perfectly shown and drawn, despite being the most complex effect in the filmmaking process. It is worth commending the whole team, which worked 10 months tirelessly! Visual 9/10.
Without going far from the team, it is necessary to say about the direction and production of the film. The work of director and cameraman is not perfect, but it is not bad either. Nevertheless, Alexei Nuzhny and Mikhail Milashin worked hard and created a movie that is difficult to break away from, even despite the abundance of clichés.
However, not everything is as rosy as it may seem. As I said, the plot of the film is very cliched, which in some places annoys. The viewer can easily guess the plot twist or replicas of the characters! But all this is compensated by a great acting. Not in need of epithets Konstantin Khabensky, Anton Bogdanov, Roman Kurtsev, Viktor Dobronravov, as well as young Tikhon Zhiznevsky and Ivan Yankovsky perfectly play their roles. I especially want to praise the last three. Each of them has its own story arc, which they pass throughout the film. It's terrifying, dramatic and instructive. The plot is 6/10, the acting game is 9/10.
Summing up, we can confidently say that another cool and important film has appeared in the post-Soviet space!
“Fire” is not “The Cause of the Brave” (an American film about firefighters).
Nothing in common. "Fire" is not our answer. Not a remake. Not a parody. Absolutely different movies, one of which is pleasant to watch, and the other - "Fire".
Of course, the domestic film is normal, but it does not work quite right. The viewer is not satisfied with watching propaganda or documentary. However. Sometimes you want to be patriotic, cool men/women on the screen. It's interesting to know what the police/athletes/musicians/firefighters are up to. Not the harsh life of "Major," but hopeful fantasy. Or at least "The Brave Case." The question is, what about the movie "Fire"?
“Fire” was supposed to inspire hope, to show the real heroes, which are firefighters. We could be told about difficult working conditions, professionalism and perseverance. This is the movie that is supposed to promote firefighters. All the stars aligned. Unfortunately, the heroes of the film fight against incompetence, old technique, incompetence of individuals, Thanos and all the ills of mankind, leaving a little time to extinguish fires. Here firefighters are real heroes, whose ranks hover unprofessionalism and incompetence. (This, of course, was the case of the brave, but at least I passed the educational program.) If “Fire” is a reality, then the movie is very scary, and Yuri Bykov is behind everything. If it's fiction, it's doubly sad. That's why you sit there and look at these beautiful pictures. Really. The movie is beautiful. Within limits. Fire is a normal movie with an abnormal aftertaste. The tension is just fire. Lives hang in the balance. It's action. Khabensky 10 matches out of 10. And at the end, pshiiik. That's how fast, like a match, a pretty interesting movie burns out. A beautiful light that burns quickly, burning your fingers.
There is nothing wrong with the stereotype in blockbusters. These are attraction films that look for the sake of incredible adventures, where the characters have no time to reflect, but luck is always on their side. Especially when it comes to people of heroic professions. What good things will be translated.
But the film “Fire”, designed to the elevation of domestic fire fighters, is too fond of the weaknesses of the genre. First of all, the scenario is built entirely on multiplying accidents. Firefighters, according to the writers, skipped OBJ lessons and do not know at what speed and where the flame will spread. They act heroically but illogically. The director and the writers do not set any rules. Carbon monoxide does not work when necessary. It burns, it burns, it does not burn.
This is not to say that the film is bad. Maybe the whole thing is that it depends too much on the ideas of Western tapes, and the most different. In some places, I thought, there was music that was similar to the theme from The Last Samurai with Tom Cruise. Killing tonight is fine.
The movie "Fire" begins unsettlingly. From the very first minutes you start to worry about the heroes of the film. There are several storylines in this film. In my opinion, this is a struggle with the inner self for the benefit of its people. The plot of the film is exciting. To some, it may seem easy to guess. But even when watching the movie, it is difficult to take your eyes off the screen. The rescue team should be united and friendly to me. One for all and all for one. But firefighters cannot have everything according to one scheme and always rescuers meet with unforeseen critical situations when a person’s life is in danger, but not every brave person can cope with himself. The film shows: perseverance, ingenuity, resourcefulness and courage of the Russian people. It is these factors that can stimulate and inspire the audience of this film. Throughout the film, there was a sense of coherence and teamwork. The film clings to the audience for life values, inspires feats. It gives you the desire to help people. I would like to see the movie Fire again and experience the emotions of compassion, sadness and empathy again. Special effects and music are fascinating. The music is selected exactly to the tragic pictures and makes you feel the plot of the film. For myself, I realized from the film how important teamwork, team cohesion, resourcefulness and a way out of seemingly hopeless situations. As a student at the Theatre Institute, these traits are important to me.
The film tells the story of brave rescuers, firefighters working in Aviaforestry - an organization engaged in protecting forests from fires and maintaining their general condition.
The film opens with a spectacular scene of firefighters confronting a forest fire. Once trapped, they are covered with fireproof blankets, but one of the employees can not stand and rushes to the still unburned part of the grove. Unfortunately, it does not reach its destination.
And already here you can see what will become the cornerstone of the picture - the fight against the elements, where there is no place for the weak.
"Fire" has all the signs of a powerful action disaster. Family, love, friendly and personal drama unfolds against the background of a raging and perfectly filmed and drawn element, which, in general, does not matter to small people who are trying to resist it. But “people” with this state of affairs do not agree and in the fight for their lives and the lives of conditional neighbors show their best qualities. Amazingly, "Fire", which because of the production staff can declare opportunistic, broadcasts from the screen the idea of the value of an individual. It carries it from the beginning to the end.
The actors play well, there are worries, doubts and experiences. Effects and music at a high level. Constant tension that does not let go until the final. And even then you do not feel relaxed and do not see the happy end.
Most pleased with the picture and dynamically changing soundtrack. The last one will not be left in your head, but it will directly affect what is happening.
This is a rare case when Russian cinema evokes real emotions.
Well... I saw it in the theater. Not bad, but not a masterpiece. You can see it without much expectation. I don't like the "sneaky officials" stuff. Unreal.
Modern Russian cinema is far from ideal. I wonder where the story and the characters are. Where is the spirituality and naturalness of what is happening? There is a feeling that all these components remained beyond the turn of the last century. Unfortunately, for the most part this is the case, with very few exceptions. It is to this category that the new painting by Alexei Necessary and Nikolai Kulikov “Fire” belongs. And then I did not mistakenly mention the name of the screenwriter Kulikov. After all, this movie begins with it – a scripted and worked-out canvas focused on the audience. Here lies the catch - either the public so fervently craves special effects and spectacles, or earned Nikolai, stereotypically stamping every new scenario. And if “Legend No. 17” (2012), “Moving Up” (2017) and “I Lose Weight” (2018) traced characteristic characters, in whose images were visible the makings of real people and ideas, then “Fire” definitely went wrong.
At what point this happened is unclear. However, the naked eye can see the template images of heroes. How to understand and understand the viewer? What if this viewer is also a screenwriter, and understands all this inner “kitchen” of creating characters? I literally see the writers of this picture, working on the work, who are trying with all their might to create, by all means, diverse characters, as long as they do not merge into a common mass. The main characters in this film are firefighters. Excuse me, do you see representatives of this profession with a guitar at the top, an illiterate pitcher or a brave merry man? But all these images somehow do not fit with the firefighters. You can compare with any American film about the heroism of representatives of this profession, where such characters look different and to their dignity. Our creators turned out to be some non-rescuers - caricature representatives, whose heroism is hardly believed. How do you feel about this dangerous job? A cozy evening in the woods with songs to the guitar - this is what you need to know about the profession of firefighters according to the authors of "Fire". It was as if they were on a trip to God.
It is not clear what side of this project got talented actors - Konstantin Khabensky, Ivan Yankovsky, Irina Gorbacheva. Actors in demand, clearly not burdened by a lack of work. I can only imagine what drew them to this project. Obviously, they did their job and did well. I have no complaints about the actors – what is given to them, what is written in the script, they play. But the creation of images is another question, and it should be asked by other figures of the cinema.
This film caused me conflicting feelings. On the one hand - exciting special effects, intense action, suspense, but at the same time illogical and implausible plot.
The characters are painted according to types: this is a strict all-powerful boss. If you did not guess, then he once again plays Andrei Smolyakov. For the eccentricity, Viktor Sukhorukov was appointed responsible with his “Larisa Ivanovna”. Tired and calm commander – Konstantin Khabensky, simpleton – Anton Bogdanov, silent – Viktor Dobronravov, swayer and macho of the local spill – Roman Kurtsyn, soulful balcony – Tikhon Zhiznevsky, irritant of all – Ivan Yankovsky. There is also Stasya Miloslavskaya - in the role of "the lady of the main character".
Of all the characters, my greatest sympathy was caused by the hero Tikhon Zhiznevsky, he was the most real, not template, alive, and his story turned out to be the most interesting and emotional.
In the course of the film, I had a lot of questions for the writers. What was the training of the hero Ivan Yankovsky? Is it really possible to pull nothing inherently incompetent newcomer cadet out of school and send it to a real business, a real fire? He's not an expert yet.
Firefighters who, without any special equipment, are “scrambled” in the village. Evacuation, which should be carried out as soon as possible. In such a situation, as shown in the film, people can only be saved by a miracle. Also, as a miracle, you can count a scene with a light on the helmet - this is generally something of a fairy tale. The villagers, like some sect in American movies, listening to their elder. Where is the local government, the police, finally?
In general, if you want to tickle your nerves, not fixating on the plausibility of the events taking place, then watch with pleasure, or rather with great emotions and tears, because many scenes of “Fire” seem to have been deliberately invented and filmed so as to “finish” even the most unemotional viewers. If you're waiting for a credible firefighter drama, you need another movie.
The creators of such masterpieces of Russian cinema as “Movement Up” and “Crew” decided not to stop there and issued a new “answer to Hollywood” film “Fire”. Personally, I went to the film with great skepticism, both because the film was shot in Russia, and because the creators of this film, in addition to the words “based on real events”, “we will win because we are Russians”, will not say anything else in the interview, but it turned out not to be as terrible as we would like. More details about everything.
First of all, I want to pay tribute to the good cast. The roles are chosen well and to a greater extent each in its place (except for a few). The second is operator work. Beautiful shots, though in some places they overdo the editing. During the flight of the aircraft 5-6 different plane plans for several minutes (to stretch the timekeeping). And the most important thing that is very well shown in the film is that with fire jokes are bad. As childish as it may sound, it is. Many treat this with great neglect and ignorance. It is very clear what will happen if you close your eyes.
One of the disadvantages can be identified as Paphos. He saturated the whole movie to the point of nausea. At the same time, he is ahead of even the film Armageddon, which is similar to “Fire” plot. Paphos is in almost every frame. From traversing to a plane as astronauts to how the head of the MOE defiantly violates the rules “in the name of justice.”
I don’t want to talk about the story at all. Everything is as primitive, predictable and does not cause wow effect. You immediately understand which of the characters family died in a fire, who will find love at the end of the film, who will change their attitude to the newcomer in the team, etc. Characters throughout the film do not change. No one draws any conclusions and the beginning and ending of the film are essentially the same. Plus idiocy add situations in which the characters get, like a drowned phone or, WARNING, tossed above the trees of a flashing flashlight in the center of a blazing forest, which is noticed by one of the pilots.
As a result, I can say that this is a standard film studios, shooting “as if a patriotic movie.”
I'm 4 out of 10 and remember. It's just my CryOpinion.
Not being a lover of the genre, I note that such a high-quality film has not existed for a long time. "Fire" will give a hundred points ahead of such foreign masterpieces as "Brave" (2019, China) and "Deepwater Horizon". This movie can and should be watched!
No matter how criticized our cinema (even in this film found something to find fault with), “Fire” is an excellent representative of Russian cinema, even in the West there are films much worse than this.
The plot of the film is built around the fact that a group of firefighters goes to extinguish the fire in Karelia. Alexey Sokolov takes his daughter's boyfriend - Roman to the team. Roman Ilyin is a typical representative of modern youth, he is not serious, sometimes negligent about his activities, but at the same time considers himself a cool firefighter.
I really like disaster movies because it is in critical situations that the true face of a person is revealed. Is he a coward? Will he leave others in danger or give his life to save others? This film raises such moral questions. You're going to get emotional. I've always known that firefighters' jobs are very dangerous, but I had no idea they were so dangerous. And a lot of this film was taken from the actual practice of firefighters.
Top-level acting. Actors match their heroes, you believe them, imbue them with respect and hope that they will cope in dangerous situations for their lives. Tragic in the film in moderation and I really liked it. I don’t like movies where nothing good happens throughout the film, the characters are always unlucky, everything always ends badly. I wonder why I’m watching this when I don’t think anything good is happening. There is a balance in this film.
The musical component fits perfectly with the events shown in the film. This contributes to an additional immersion in the plot, you more subtly experience all these moments together with the characters.
In conclusion, I want to say a big thank you to the firefighters, because thanks to this film I realized that you are real heroes. Thank you for saving lives, often at the risk of your own. This film is a must-see for those who still doubt that our film can be of quality.

Catastrophe films have been made for a long time and with varying success. Someone considers the paintings of the same Emmerich all masterpieces, and someone still understands that Spielberg he will not become, despite the great desire to seem. Independence Day is a great movie, right? If your answer is yes, you’ll probably like the Russian “Fire.”
Problems with the "Fire" begin almost immediately - the main character is appointed Khabensky as a Khabensky firefighter, who is experiencing the loss of a friend and does not want to take a newcomer to the group. But - to his relief - the sixth is a deliberately caricatured boorish kid, in whom Khabensky's daughter is in love. Conflict marked. The team also includes a rocker, a good-natured balagur guitarist, a silent widower and just another unremarkable man. Guess who will die and who will live.
Next in the plot follows the classic sequence of failures, entailing the development of the conflict, and at the end we are waiting for a primitive arch that resolves it. I think there's not a single person who doesn't understand what's going to happen to a seasoned firefighter and a rude rookie who's in love with his daughter. Each team member is given a small personal arch - a couple of episodes per person, all quite predictable.
In addition to the main conflict, the film has a bunch of small scenes that should somehow diversify what is happening. For example, there is Sukhorukov, playing a strange helicopter pilot, to put it mildly. Well, more precisely, he plays again Sukhorukova. The head of Khabensky is played by Smolyakov, who is also given a little screen time with minimal usefulness for the plot.
In general, Fire is a rather empty and boring movie, with uninteresting characters and tired Khabensky.
Picture and special effects are high. That’s probably the only thing that could make this movie. Now for the bad:
Plot. How do you get a man on a team who knows nothing? Why did the girl get up on the runway, she did not know that there was a time allotted for takeoff and flight time, etc.? A lot of mistakes.
From the very beginning, the authors tried to reveal the idea of love between a guy and a girl-operator. The guy does not know anything, does not understand where he got, but as a result, he remained in the background. You know what that reminds me of? Movie 'Armageddon' Just the same story, only the ending was changed so that everyone liked it, but! Where's the drama? Changing the ending and making it ' non-tepical' plot down to the worst-case scenario. In 'Armageddon' the guy studied along the way, and this is generally all by the side. Forgot the helmet, dropped the radio. Horrible! And while extinguishing the fire, secondary characters arranged an exam for the guy. Hello! Your forest is burning and you ask it how much 2+2 will be. Disgusting. As a result, the character is not disclosed.
About the camera girl. She walks so freely around the grounds that she can go anywhere I understand. I wanted to go home while working. Lunch break? Let's take a plane. Are you going to the runway? Why not? A free man. As a result, she had to be fired after hiring. And also brazenly uses the services of the director calling someone without getting hit.
It makes no sense to talk about all the problems of the films. There's plenty. Too many. In general, the film just plays on feelings without meaning.
We are so used to Russian cinema that we cease to notice its good sides.
No, I don't see outright plagiarism on 'Brave Case'. Yeah, the movie is full of clichés. But all, absolutely all, disaster movies are full of cliches. Most of them are made up entirely of them.
The creators ' Fire' drew the movie on templates, but with obvious love.
They endowed each character with a clearly readable character and tried as best they could so that these characters were not clumsy.
All the actors are doing their best, you can see that.
The main characters were given growth.
Careful, small spoilers (kamon, the movie consists of templates, you would guess).
At first glance, a narcissistic bolt who stole for personal use and lost a satellite phone (idiot!) shows himself a hero.
The father - a hero already accomplished and experienced, but clumsy in parental love - overcomes jealousy and fear, letting her daughter go in ' free swimming'.
That's not enough. But for such a movie, that's enough.
I want to note that I did not catch the illogicality in the actions of the main characters, and I did not see that the authors tried to somehow whitewash or present frank fakapas as a positive moment (as the authors of some reviews write).
The film added as much national flavor as it could fit. Love, too. Somewhere there was a review with the title from the series 'Brave case'+'Bitter'. That's very true. And, strangely enough, it was possible to combine two incompatible things. I hate it with all my heart ' Bitter ' if anything. But here the wedding is interrupted by an inexorably impending forest fire, and cattle-style is replaced by humanity when people are faced with the elements.
7 out of 10
The level of a good entertainment movie. The film exceeded my low expectations.
The film discredits the work of firefighters. In my head there is a thought: ' But if in reality I have something to light up, God forbid that such come 'Masters''.
So, according to the plot, the weekdays of firefighters consist of the following: clarifying relationships (daughter, father, daughter’s boyfriend); misuse of equipment (Eh, how great it is to fly on special transport while the forests burn); Leaving her post for the sake of violating common sense and safety requirements (girl on the runway).
Oh yeah! This film showed, ' the flaws of the system' in all its glory. But without censure, but rather with praise: How great it is to violate job descriptions, chatting on the satellite Service (!) phone about feelings. How great it is with the view ' kitten peeing on slippers ' to lose the means of salvation ... How great it is for the whole team to gather and to cheerful music ' Pump local'.
And then, after all these events, which is amazing! And the character Khabensky and 'Son-in-law' continued to work, as if nothing had happened. Where the hell is justice?
The only characters you sympathize with are the villagers. They're really sorry.
And you also experience a real horror at the state of the technology in this ' truthful' and ' present' film.
It just puts the Emergencies Ministry in some caricature-abhorrent light.
It's a shame for real firefighters. It’s a shame for everyone who does their job well. Film ' spit in their face'
Sometimes, describing the artistic, or as in this case, ' somehow published ', the work, you have to answer the question, who is the main character?
Heroes (victims) here are several: and the main ones are sloppyness and ignorance.
I chose this movie to watch with my mom. My mother, an amateur ' Russian Roman' and his like, prefers Russian cinema, but does not disdain foreign. She wanted to go to it during the premiere, but somehow did not grow together. And so yesterday, I got in the recommendations 'Fire' and we watched it.
To begin with, we will deal with the standard characteristics: camera work is good, but it also falls short of confidence, acting in some moments knocks out of the film, but also uncritically, the graphics of complaints did not meet. The sound, etc., is fine. In general, the average kinzo.
At one time, I was developing a project to use UAVs during forest fires and had to get acquainted with this topic. I was surprised by how freely they treated the ' jumping fire '. I may have missed something like that, but I don’t believe it. Take him out of the picture and nothing will change.
The plot is simple, easy to guess. A standard theme with a captain who puts no beginners in anything, and then under the influence of circumstances takes the one who did not please him. Of course, this green youngster will show himself later, but first he must screw up so that his progress is especially noticeable.
Here we are poked in the face of a video with the pregnant wife of one of the rescuers, then they say that she burned in the fire, and then show another future mother and then it is completely unclear what will happen, yes. In total, 10 out of 10 evidences.
I was also struck by the general inconsistency in such a serious organization, after all, there are adults working, and not snotty teenagers who can easily be taken on weakly. The girl who decided to stop the plane with her breast is also above all praise, defeated inertia, in general, Wonder Woman in Russian, though she did not have to enter the burning hut.
But it's all lyrics. Does the disaster film work as it should? I can tell you that, yes, my mother and I are not in tears. We watched the film with pleasure, although there is no slender plot and some original idea. For a one-off movie, great.
I would also like to mention 'The Case of the Brave' about which only a blindly deaf-mute commentator did not write. ' The Brave Case', for me, is not so much about firefighters, but the story of one particular guy who had his own tragic past, the present we saw in the picture, and the future can be roughly guessed. This is a biography with drama, not a disaster. 'Fire' but, in turn, tells about a specific period that we peeked, without going into details of the character and past of the characters. And you know, it's possible: ' Fire' tells a general story, takes collective images and makes them somewhat faceless, so you can try them on any other firefighter, in the hope that they will behave as selfless.
This review was written not by a professional critic, but by a simple layman, so I do not take up the mass nature of my opinion. The movie is 6.9, it's not up to seven.
To understand how deep the crisis is now Russian cinema, it is enough to compare the Hollywood “Case of the Brave”, based on real events, from which our “pros” snubbed the idea and shot this, based, it seems, on banned substances in the screenwriter. It was possible to build a film on real life stories, because they really enough, but not. You will be broadcast 2 hours absolutely unrealistic, not logical, not professional from the point of view of firefighters and even absurd actions of the heroes who rush under the plane on the runway, spill fuel, being surrounded by fire, etc. And it becomes so predictable when you start to guess the most idiotic version of the course of events, and that is what happens in the film. Instead of drama, it turned out to be a very bad comedy because of the constant theater of the absurd. Therefore, it is impossible to empathize with the characters, because often what happens is so surreal that you simply do not believe everything on the screen. In addition, it seems that Yankovsky (and Sukhorukov, of course, too) plays mentally retarded. Tragism is artificially squeezed out constantly where it is not needed, twisting the heroes of the disease and flashbacks.
The love story is poor, far-fetched, and without it, the film would have easily done and even become better, but this is such a powerful template that it is apparently impossible to do without it. It’s like taking Kurtsyn to a movie and not showing him constantly naked (even though he should be in a fire fight) – it’s just impossible!
Now for the story! Oh, there's a lot to tell, but I think I'll just stop at one scene that reflects the madness of what's going on. The Emergencies Ministry, of course, does not have its own helicopters, so to save children on the “tired” (quoted) helicopter will be an idiot pilot with a can of honey in his hands at the helm. Here, apparently, there is a reference to two Disney heroes at once: Zig-Zag Makryak from Duck Stories and Winnie-the-Pooh? Children are put in the open body of an old UAZ, tied to this helicopter, instead of just going with their parents from the village. UAZ at any moment can bend slightly, and children fall out, and most importantly - the helicopter flies in the direction of the fire, over the terrible fire and smoke. How's the plan? Nice, isn't it? It's as reliable as a fucking Swiss watch! On the way, they will naturally need to land inside the fire. Why not? After all, you need to somehow weave self-sacrifice and another heartbreaking fragment. And here's the funny thing. They fly out during the day, fly all night, and escape only in the morning. That is, somehow flying and dying helicopter with children in a tied car could just fly from the impending fire in the other direction to the nearest city, but purposefully flew into the heat of the fire for long hours to fly through the fire! How's that? Logic goes to hell, gentlemen!
I can imagine the shame that firefighters and rescuers felt when watching this masterpiece.

A film about heroes not cartoonish, comic, fake. For real heroes, saving others is not a game, and can end in their own death.
- Spoilers ---
The film has two main storylines. The first fight against the fire and the rescue of people from the village - several dozen people. Circumstances, including the sloppiness of some crew members, are such that firefighters and people are left alone with a wildfire. Rescue is achieved at the cost of the firefighter’s life and despite the resource base. . .
The second is the rapid growth of a young firefighter, who does not look like a rescuer until the first task. The film shows that despite the outwardly accepted culture of easy life, the coming generation of adulthood is just as capable of feats. And his growing up occurs against the background of a personal conflict with the head of the group.
The hero game is on top. As always, Khabensky sets the tone. Young colleagues are a little short, but also good.
There are unrealistic moments - the consequences of burns are shown not so terrible as in life. The main character has increased resistance to fire and smoke. Salvation comes at the last minute. But on the other hand, the scale and sharp twist of the scenes are already quite large, so the rating of 6+ for impressionable children should probably be revised to 8+. I think a good compromise has been found.
For other appraisers and critics: Hollywood-style poignancy - why should a Russian film be drowned for it, but it is normal for an American one? There should be the same standards, not double standards.
For those who have been in the fire zone, and partly for viewers of this or a similar movie, fire safety instructions will never be read as before. I advise you to search in the search 'EMERCOM of Russia: Natural fires & #39, you won’t regret it.
Take care of the forest from the fire, and honor...
The version is as follows: Khabensky made a big argument to his friends from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, or maybe they did not take him weakly, but he definitely did not read the script, and agreed to this out of great respect for rescuers. Because it is not necessary to assume that the decision to star in such a movie on the part of the smart girl-Khabensky was balanced.
In general, there is almost nothing to say about the film: the starting heroic rapid passage of firefighters in red, led by Mr. (the main character), the moved daughter of Mr., also from the forest guard, but not familiar with safety techniques and common sense (brakes the plane with her chest). Then comes the glorious history of the struggle against the elements, salvation (with the help of the heroic superiors), the education of the young (bad) generation and the return to the unreasonable daughter of the transformed years (many). That's all. I will only assume that not only Khabensky, but also Sukhorukov Smolyakov and Dobronravov (medium) disputed with Mrchsniki then. But it doesn’t seem to be that big...
Cinema has one unambiguous plus: G is not like Meglin. No matter how hard Konstantin Yurievich tried, Rodion’s ears were sticking out in the Collector and Selfie. No, but it burns like Pinochet. But, it seems, after all, Khabensky releases...
The film is inspired by the terrible fires of the summer of 19. Emergencies and forestry then got not weak. They deserve a good, decent movie. Without fools, blunders, templates and budget laundering... Honestly... But this is about a different movie, not about that.
One single radio and it was drowned. All the belongings and costumes were burned. The helicopter doesn't take off... There is no fuel for the plane... A birth is giving birth... The wheel is burning... The bus fails... The road is blocked by fire... The daughter is having a seizure... The death of a recruit... Helicopter overload... For the whole vast country there are only 6 firefighters and 1 head who does not sleep for days. The cable breaks... The driver is cut off... The rocket launcher doesn't shoot... Driver in the ass. . . The villagers are offended... Dad doesn't. . .
. . Of these continual and, as it were, accidental disturbances... This custom and fake film is woven (from the word ' cinema', and not because of the tribute to the rescuers), in which only the idea itself is chic and the actors, and absolutely everything - and Kurtsyn, and Dobronravov, and Khabensky, and Yankovsky, and Miloslavskaya, and Zhiznevsky, and Gorbachev, and Bogdanov, and Oblasov and the incomparable Sukhorok - is the decoration of any project! In short, it is difficult for me to recall a film project where I would like absolutely all the numerous characters, but this is where I really like ALL!! For that, BRAVO!!
In principle, fire battles with the forest are also very convincing. Although I understand that there was no limokee here. No matter how much I resist, and a little bit worried about all the characters of the tape.
. . . No, well, if you take in general - an ordinary Russian hat, shot according to Hollywood canons in the genre of NADOTRAGEDY, where you do not believe in anyone and anything (except the realism of Khabensky's baldness)! Starting with the uncooked and bleached teeth of Gorbachev, Khabensky and Sukhorukov, whitewashed and ironed costumes of any rustic, sweatless shirts in such a heat, through the fake and frankly stupid nunnies associated with landing in a flying car (' Diamond hand' - hello!) .
The most important thing that came up to me while watching is that I don’t believe it! No, not in the dangerous and risky work of rescuers. And in this frankly stupid script and plot! In this ordinary modern soulless Russian film, which is created for money laundering (whom - pay attention to whose film), as well as ' our ' another answer to Hollywood with its magnificent ' Case of the Brave' and ' Team 49'.
But I personally noticed one important point (thanks to the finale of the film!) - with their problems, this long-suffering people will clean up exclusively themselves! Waiting for help from above is not the country we live in. And the construction of a mini-commune by the own forces of the firefighters, but the recording on the video ' responsible speech' actor of one role Smolyakov - perfect confirmation of that! Thank you for that!! . .
And so... Passage clichéd tape with the corresponding quality of the film slogan 'Made in Russia' - comments are superfluous. ..
I worked with firefighters and spent a lot of time with them doing rescue equipment. The filmmakers probably didn’t talk to them at all.
1. Going to extinguish a fire almost without action with normal thermal protection - well, hardly. No gloves, no masks, no breathing apparatus. Looks like a bunch of amateurs. There are standards and requirements for how they work. In Russia, these are very professional structures, here they were shown by some self-taught people who, without coordination, do not understand where, do not understand why, and show amateurishness at every step.
2. A huge number of templates drawn from outdated fighters of the past. You guys steal from America, start learning something after 1998.
3. The horrific, blatantly unprofessional behavior of all the participants didn't even try to make it look like life. There is a very strict discipline and subordination in these structures because it is life. Here on the airfield some girl, because she is the daughter of some squad leader, can run out on the field, really, who needs to coordinate flights. We don't even do that, wild people.
Fortunately for you and me, the real firefighters and MHS don't look like these motherfuckers that Mikhalkova's studio shot.
4. The film was inspired by the fires of 2019, which I was collecting information about. And there were enough facts from life, it would be possible to make a life movie, but at the same time it would be impossible to break away from it. Take at least scenes where residents of Irkutsk themselves went out to extinguish these fires, initiative groups gathered. There was a lot there, shocking and amazing. Material to work on the script abounds, but did not take anything. We took an invented story, took templates and cardboard.
Our firefighters and MES, combat guys are really heroes, what they are able to do, about it would really like a good movie. Even just talking and listening to their stories, you can go crazy there.
Unfortunately, this is not about this movie. I don’t talk to firefighters anymore, it’s not my job anymore, but I would listen to their feedback.
Lookable, but not realistic. Which disaster movie is realistic?
In any disaster film, the unrealistic nature of what is happening always hinders me. If you do not pay attention to this, the film ' Fire' quite a watchable.
There is, however, one more 'NO'. From the very first shots, you can understand what the plot will be, what the role of each hero will be and what the end will be. So, if you are not confused by predictability and unrealistic, but fascinated by the sight of fire, and you are a fan of worrying about children and real men, then you may like the film.
I won't talk about the little things. Most importantly, there is so much fire and it is so close to the characters throughout the film that none of them could survive. I was watching and the whole movie was like, ‘Did the authors ever sit by the fire?’ & #39 From the usual fire or barrel for burning garbage in the country is so hot that it is impossible to get closer than 0.5 m. And in the film, the forest burns, the fire is everywhere, but for some reason, where the characters are, islands of security are formed. Around the wall of fire, and in the center is a clearing, where it is hot, but quite tolerant.
The view of the Emergencies Management Center reminded me of American movies. For some reason, I think our center looks different. Another strange thing: do fire crews fly to Siberia and Karelia from the same place? By the way, where is this center, in Moscow or in Novosibirsk or somewhere else?
In short, the plot and the script - for three.
There are no complaints about the actors. They played very well, I believe.
I wanted to see a movie about firefighters not a disaster, but a drama. How is it in real life? After all, every time they change, people in this profession risk their lives.
I hope that everything is better in the MES. 3 matches out of 10.
Is that how our Emergencies Ministry works? I think it's getting more professional.
1) Roman is a young firefighter, a trainee. A typical egotist, after his first assignment, wonders how he stayed in the service. I guess that's a problem with the staff. And the rescue team, some not a team, a set of individualists.
2) Fire crew. After viewing, I can single out only two - Max (Tikhon Zhiznevsky) and Alexey Palych (Khabensky). The others are not remembered. Maybe Peter's mission was important. But in fact, he left the whole team to deal with the problems.
(3) The main character. For many years, her father flew away to extinguish fires. But then the guy came to work as a firefighter - it's time to stop the plane. Wait what? She sent people to die every day, but this is a special case? What's she doing at Emergencies? Violation of subordination, violation of discipline. Deception and an attempt to pressure the authorities, who are monitoring the situation throughout the country. Of course, the bosses should listen to her, as well as all their other employees who have a similar situation, and safely shoot themselves.
(4) Life in the country. I don't. I recommend the writer to go to the village and live there. It's not that sad. I would like to mention the connection separately. Maybe you believed there was no connection if there had been a fire somewhere in the forests of Siberia, where there is no housing, in the early 2010s. But this is Karelia, the European part of Russia, modern times. Even at recreation centers, there is cellular communication, not to mention settlements. Such a village was seen only in the forests of Komi in the early 2000s, where there are no roads for vehicles.
(5) Children's evacuation. It seems to me only that it would be safer to carry children with you in your arms through the forest than to send such a structure on a flight.
Fascinating views and shooting with a general plan. Beautiful. Operator respect.
Treat the film as an art drama, not a disaster movie.
It so happened that the character of the domestic film lover came out bad: either the fault of eternal worship before everything overseas, or disbelief in the talent and special properties of such a mysterious and not every mind subject to Russian directing. Perhaps, in order to become a famous filmmaker within our vast homeland, you need to comprehend the incomprehensible - the laws of the very Russian cinema that everyone has heard about, but no one has seen. And the inhabitants at their LCD screens and heard not that the true creators are great intellectuals, inventors and hooligans. And how to be able to pass through the prism of your brain, grown on the next cinematic universe, something called “author’s”, look for cultural codes and references, if template is a new synonym for art, and ideals are created somewhere on the Hollywood hills?
And this viewer does not like to watch and realize, because to filter - you need a sieve. Comedy we do not know how to shoot immediately, for science fiction - special effects are bad, and the disaster film should be exclusively about the fall of the White House. But if in the last decade the authors of Russian bottling were able to transfer the screen action from Moscow and St. Petersburg to sleeping areas and remote villages, then the approach to the problems of the plot has changed.
Alexey Necessary is known to a wide audience for the enchanting history of weight loss in the film I Lose Weight (2018) with Sasha Bortic in the role of a pastry chef with an excessive sense of love for his work and all its components. Now the author of one of the most body-positive comedies of our time about self-love has taken a real hit - and made a film about the work of the Air Forestry on fires in Karelia - "Fire" (2020).
This work has everything: a star cast for viewers of all ages (from Konstantin Khabensky to Ivan Yankovsky), laustories, family drama, the formation of heroes, a real “action in Russian” and with a dozen moments for clearing with tears. It seems that the authors have mastered the basics of writing film stories so much that they applied them all at once. You need to train on something, exercise to one day reach the championship level.
A separate bow for true patriotism, a tribute to the memory of the dead firefighters and praising the work of rescuers who risk their lives every day to save lives.
The plot is based on the story of the working departure of the rescue team. But at one point something went wrong - and the daily ritual of Alexei Sokolov (Khabensky) with the burning of a match, passing through the entire film, immediately promised trouble. In the nearest village - a wedding, and a guest at demolition (Irina Gorbacheva). But when the fire comes, the detachment performs its duty - at all costs to save the villagers.
Each character has a colorful character and a story that dictates the motives and decisions of each character. What are only the kindest jokes of the hero Viktor Sukhorukov, a helicopter pilot in love with his apparatus? To better involve the viewer in what is happening and the fire in the frame is real - real shooting of fires in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was used.
You can admire, empathize or revile what the light was on this film. But we must not forget that cinema is a fiction, a visual illusion created by a special rule of storytelling in the cinematic language, which is not so easy to study, let alone apply.
Fire is a full-length social film for those who continue to make bonfires and throw cigarettes.
First of all, why is the movie 6+? There are obvious scenes in the film, which even not all adults enjoy watching, for example, a scene where one of the main characters burns alive on a helicopter flying away with children, or as burning people jump into the river. Few people enjoyed watching the burning animals in the movie Sign, but probably with people everything is different.
Questions began immediately and there are many, well, for example, why the main character Khabensky argues with the authorities? And the ranks in the Emergencies Ministry for what? So you can challenge any order?! In general, I was interested in watching from the moment when brave firefighters with nude pumped up torsos make a barricade, but then locals appear and spoil everything. Funny when the camp is broken up near a fire and everything burns down. Reminiscent of the famous video in the network, when a soldier burned down an armored personnel carrier and wrote on a grenade launcher. Where's professionalism? What to be proud of if going for water, a fire that is clearly not far off, devours the camp!
How do you feel when a single satellite phone sinks? The only one is one, so you still need to talk on it on the edge of the cliff of the lake!
A fight with the locals is very colorful firefighters! That's who you should be afraid of! If you don't give me a shovel, they'll kill you! They came to the village quickly, to the lake to call is also not far to go, but from the fire on foot - further, even further - in cars that were abandoned! Why a helicopter can lift passengers with an SUV, but after five minutes it does not pull not what an SUV, even children's shoes for 100 grams, but also the most pleasant character! Everything is relative in this world, including the weight of things and people.
As the main character walked through the fire in both directions, if people passed in one direction, already burned. A 6-year-old viewer will understand.
The idea is good, the rating did the right, but why is the profession of a firefighter filmmaker so shameful? Why instead of new technology show old, why show unprofessionalism that leads to the death of people and equipment? Why? I was waiting for him! Maybe the director wanted to show the reality of the work? Maybe he did it? Maybe it's meant to be.
Before reading this review, I will clarify a few points (you can flip through this paragraph).
1. This is my first time as a reviewer, so don’t judge me harshly. I rely on my own tastes, knowledge, interests and values, so what I will say is my own opinion. You can disagree, you can support.
2. I will briefly say that this is an adaptation 'The Case of the Brave' in the course of the review, because many people have already written about it and you can read them. I will not repeat myself.
Now for my review.
I watched the movie 'Fire'. What can I say?
Cons:
1. Weak acting in the younger generation (I divide generations by experience) - Ivan Yankovsky, Roman Kurtsyn, Irina Gorbacheva, Tikhon Zhiznevsky, etc. Honestly, I didn’t really remember these characters, so their lines weren’t interesting. I just flipped through them because of boredom.
2. Taken from the film 'The Case of the Brave'. Not the whole script, but specifically the idea itself, for which it is not so much insulting, although it torments me while watching the film.
Neutrality:
1. Russian adaptation. Despite the fact that the idea was taken from a foreign film, there was an attempt to adapt to Russian realities. Somewhere bad, somewhere good, somewhere really obtrusive with Russian realities. So I'll be neutral here. I would like to speak for this and against it.
2. Stupid supernatural idea. The film tries to revive the fire as if it were some kind of creature. I didn’t mind it if it was developed, but the idea was implemented at the beginning of the film, and the rest of the film (1.5 hours of the film) is unaffected. So more minus than plus, but still write neutral.
Pros:
1. Good acting of the older generation - Konstantin Khabensky, Andrei Smolyakov, Viktor Sukhorukov, Alexander Oblasov. After all, they have experience in different films, and therefore it is obvious here. I was more interested in their line than the others.
2. I was surprised by the game of Anton Bogdanov from real boys. I initially expected the same type of gopnik from the series, but it is clear that the actor worked on himself and the accent of the gopnik began to disappear. For the first time I associated him in my head with a character of a certain film, and not a gopnik from the series.
3. Great effects and atmosphere. All this atmosphere, horror of people and heroism is well conveyed. For this, a huge thank you to the creators, which gave me goosebumps in some films and the stress of worrying about the characters.
4. PERSONAGE DEVELOPMENT! Yes! There is a development of characters who, in the face of death, are aware of many things and rediscover them for themselves. The development of the characters is good, but I will not say that it is perfect. I can still pick up on some things.
The film is rated 7-8 stars, which I agree with. Despite the above pros and neutrality, those two cons are crucial to my assessment, and therefore only 7-8.
Is it worth watching? Yeah. If you need to spend time watching the movie, it will do. But I think that this film will be one of those that you will watch and forget, or maybe it will add to your list as a pleasant or beloved.
Thanks for watching. I wrote as best I could.
Every profession is complicated in its own way. Pilot, policeman, miner and others. But the profession of a firefighter is one of the most difficult, dangerous. This film ' Fire' is dedicated to the work of firefighters.
Film ' Fire' can be compared in many details with a modern film 'Crew'. By the type of heroes, by composition, by the difficult profession of a real man, where every exit is a feat.
In the first part of the film, we are introduced to the main characters of the film. She's calm. This is firefighter Alexei Sokolov (Konstantin Khabensky). This is a severe experienced person, behind the strong shoulders of which there are many working days of a fireman. From the first moments Alexey gives the impression of an experienced person who has gone through a lot on duty. This is a young Roman Ilyin (Ivan Yankovsky). He is still at the beginning of his career, we can say ' did not smell gunpowder' maybe, therefore, too self-confident, daring, believing that he can do everything. He is in love with Katya, Alexei's daughter. Love is mutual.
Here are two heroes. As in ' Crew' harsh hero V. Mashkov and young D. Kozlovsky. Everyone has their own life, with their own problems. But they have to work together in a difficult work situation. Maturity and youth. Transfer of experience.
In the second part of the film, we are shown heroes on a mission. Chance. And then things change. The situation is heating up to the limit. But that's the point of the job. Work in extreme situations where it is the norm.
There are fires in the forests of Karelia. The forests are burning. This is bad because it is a danger to man, because nature is being destroyed.
Firefighters took off. Besides Alexei and Roman, there are firefighters. Each of them has their own past.
After landing, firefighters find themselves in the forest with its amazing, natural beauty.
Firefighters are coming to the village. The filmmakers manage to show an ordinary village lost in the vast forests. A village where traditional, local, original way of life, formed for a long time. Here and old-fashioned Geogrich performed by Yu. Kuznetsov, inspiring respect. And local people: men, women, children. This is a village in Karelia, but you can imagine that there are many such villages all over Russia. A village that resembles Matera by Valentin Rasputin.
Unexpectedly, the element of fire reaches these places. Fire is unpredictable, dangerous. The situation is heating up, because in a short period of time it becomes clear that only firefighters, relying on their professional experience, can save lives. This is where the courage, heroism, experience, ingenuity of firefighters is manifested. How to deal with these extreme conditions. The task of firefighters is to save lives. And the fire is taking over a lot of territory. Everything next looks on such piercing emotions, absorbing the whole! Every human life is precious! Women, children, old people! And it is unclear what will happen next, how the element will behave as a person, as a technique.
What a man can do! Try to pull a rope through a burning forest to save others, like Danko pulling people out of the forest of suffering. A hero, like Danko. But if these people are destined to be saved, they will remember him with gratitude for a lifetime.
What is a man capable of for a helicopter with children who have a future to take off? It's heroism.
These people are heroes, they do a feat. They may not come back from the mission. But the lives of many others must be saved.
They're ordinary people, firefighters, but in their professional lives, they've done a lot of these things, saving lives. Many of them, like Alexei, are physically and spiritually strong, hardened by danger. These are male defenders who are simple and harsh in everyday life, but who can be relied on in extreme situations. Then they will act clearly and coolly, collected, they will not give in to panic. Such people are the protectors and guardians of the land. Therefore, the strength of the spirit, the will to live, the natural desire to protect human life in this film is shown so piercingly, deeply, naturally. And the film leaves a strong impression, calling to faith in man.
