A curious domestic fighter who was 10-15 years late. When filmed in zero undisguised tracing from stupid American action films 80x-90x - it could be viewed with a kind of condescending grin: well, finally, they say, learned what is slow-mo and modern effects. At the same time, the plot was usually such a thrash that at least stand down. Some Way of 2009, where they gathered, probably, all the people in Russia who own martial arts and made a mixture of the most wretched American DTV-fighter (such as with Jeff Speakman or Gary Daniels) with the same stupid Hong Kong kung fu movie of the 70s and some fierce drug addict LSD-trip, seasoning everything from above with a WONDER acting game, beyond the verge of good and evil, shit staging of fights (and this was an emphasis on!) and as much as possible narrative. The Salamander Key flies into the same garbage heap, with its only plus in the form of Fedor Emelianenko, all the films of Nevsky-Kuritsyn, Paragraph 78, just hellishly, satanically disgusting D-Day (and shuddered when I remembered) and other garbage. Fortunately, there were exceptions, even with obvious drawbacks in the form of horrific camerawork (Antikiller 2) or lousy chromakey (The Piranha Hunt) or a vomiting-stupid script (Personal Number). So, the Russian Raid caused me to associate with those films. Did the movie work? Well, all in order. . .
First: the film is quite frankly conceived as not the smartest action movie with a simple plot, emphasizing action, primarily muzzle. And to the credit of the creators, there is an obvious plus. The Russian Raid, which because of its name was perceived as highly biased as a clone of the Indonesian Raid, actually has a certain personality. Yes, he looks like 1000 other fighters at the same time, and the plot is generally ridiculous in its primitiveness, but in fact the movie does not copy frankly any chips from others, so that I want to point a finger: aha, this was smacked from here, and that from there. Like it was with 'Paragraph 78', where you can stretch your finger out and not let it go to the credits, because the whole movie is a Frankenstein freak, completely sewn from other people's ideas. No, of course, you can scratch your head, but on the first viewing (and I saw more than a thousand, probably even more than two thousand militants) I did not want to scream: you are crazy, herod! Scenes leading to a forceful solution of the issue are posed and submitted quite competently, which gives rise to interest and a certain empathy, despite the flat characters and stupid plot.
The staging of the fights didn't blow up either. They tried to do inventively and not without a bit of humor, plus there are people who with martial arts "on you": a good MMA fighter Mineev, who was very well discharged with a character, so that the professional athlete looked convincing, and did not try to hack the actor and try to portray something, playing on a foreign field for himself. The performer of the role of GG Ivan Kotik, having experience in filming in Chinese action films, was also not bad, although attempts to show another “super-lethal style” with an admixture of native Rrrussian something, a la “village romance”, invariably annoying. Well, what prevented you from making the hero own Taekwondo there or Wushu Sanda? No, we're going to invent another pseudo-style. The muzzle itself is not perfectly removed even close, the problems of OVER (in 103343342121321 times) in camera work and installation, but the plus is very diverse. Fights one on one, one against the crowd, crowd on the crowd, small against large, different styles, with a variety of cold weapons, in a closed and open space - here the creativity of the authors should express respect.
At the end, they added smalbs. I'm the last person in this universe who will object to this, but here gunshots and grenade explosions look exhausted, well, as if they decided that pure fights - do not roll, you need to make a full-fledged action movie, well, crammed in. Not bad, even spectacular, but in fact - not very in the subject.
In general, the film was a success, at least all the main things that attracted the attention of the audience, tried to do qualitatively. This is clearly not another cut of money, but with due diligence a shot action movie, for connoisseurs of the genre. Not without flaws, but it’s worth a look... More precisely, crappy fees at the box office do not contribute to the appearance of paintings of this genre, alas. It is interesting that all the fighters called Raid are not bad. Two Indonesian. The Russian Raid, the 1991 Hong Kong Raid, and the Finnish detective fighter Raid (actually Ride is the main character’s name, but let’s read it). In general, if you do not find fault, there was a very good spectacular movie. And his crash at the box office for me is really sad - well, please watch "Directly, Kaha" - this "masterpiece" paid off and even earned. And another attempt (the number of devils there) to remove the militant ended in a financial fiasco.
I wanted to write a review for this film for a long time and after the second viewing, my hands finally reached.
To be honest, I'm just a maniac before such films with professional hand-to-hands, shootouts, etc. They are rare, and when they do, I watch them lustfully and savor them. So, this film I watched just with a saggy jaw and could not believe what was happening on the screen and that this is our domestic film. I was simply ecstatic and delighted with the dynamic action and competently and realistically staged hand-to-hand fights and shootouts. It was impossible to get away from the screen. It's really a breakthrough in our cinema. I’ve never seen this in a movie before, and I’m pretty sophisticated. For me, this film is comparable in action to the film Kremen with Epifantsev. Only this one looks more credible.
That’s what, and they are able to, I believe, shoot such genres, about special forces, cops and everything like that, probably because we know this topic well. No science fiction, just life.
And look how realistic it is here. When there is a hand-to-hand or a shootout, you can see that the pros are working, without further words and for sure. Very atmospheric, goosebumpy. If they shoot, then it seems that they hit someone in the wrong place, but what hooked you. From the realization that everything is serious, even becomes uncomfortable. You can also see that the protagonist is also a person, he is vulnerable, but has certain skills.
If you shoot someone, you have to hit someone, a bullet is a fool, as they say. There was a man and he had already been taken into his head. Cruel! So you keep an eye on everything.
And how the sweep team works. Great! In the best traditions of video games like COD.
And as one commentator noted below, the main character moves in short runs, and lays exactly on the target as pros should move. Yes, this is how real professionals work in life.
I really liked the main character performed by Ivan Kotik. It's not bad.
There are certainly some roughnesses with the plot. I didn’t quite understand the motives of the protagonists and a couple of other moments, but I don’t care about them. The movie is a good one.
In general, all connoisseurs of this genre and verses should like. I recommend it!
Of course, if you are a fan of ' Mentov’s Wars', NTV militants, which on the Internet you can watch without advertising on TV – here you go. I am not, so without embellishment I say - the film did not like, from word to word.
Someone has revised the film 'Plant' Yuri Bykova - I immediately thought after the final credits. The same action movie, only the actors there are on a higher level, the plot is more interesting, and the soundtrack catches. In 'Russian raid' well staged fights, it is worth admitting, but this is the only plus. The rest (the plot, high-quality musical accompaniment, situations so that at least once the muscle twitches on the face) in this film is not.
Dialogues are so direct and template that even climb the wall with boredom. All this has already happened, and huge pitches and fighting athletes, and one beautiful girl for the whole film. The only actor you know for sure here is the security guard Sylvester Andreevich from 'Univera' everyone else is either novice youth, or serial, serial, and again serial.
What's in the movie? An hour and a half of indiscriminate fights, shootings, one location, a minimum of dialogue and a bunch of corpses. Budget, but I would compare this film with the corporate party of some well-known company, which gathered in an abandoned factory to play paintball.
There will be no tearful speeches, taking moments for the soul, an interesting plot, that is, there will not be what we, ordinary viewers, expect from the cinema. It seems that here collected all the fights and shooters from the TV series about law enforcement, edited and released. Please look, because we've tried so hard.
I watched, once again disappointed in our modern domestic cinema, where so far only films about the Great Patriotic War are excellent, and then, not all. Undoubtedly, the Western film industry also sometimes shoots such kind of militants, but there is something to compare with. Each movie, of course, will have its own viewer, but if this kind of action films does not take out the plot, then the actor must pull out. And how he pulls out, how to show charisma, when there is nothing in the plot except waving his arms and legs. But if Jackie Chan had been filmed in 'Russian Raid', then obviously my score would have been three times higher. But we are up to the actors of this plan and level to grow and grow.
Wasted an hour and a half. I seriously doubt that if a movie really hits anyone, they’ll play it a second time. Personally, I will watch fights in 'Deathly Battle', films with the GKVD and Bolo Yeng.

Nothing special should be expected from the film. Passing Russian fighter. In principle, the idea is interesting, but implemented so. I thought it would be a copy of the Indonesian original, but to my pleasant surprise it is not. Now on the main disadvantages, which in the end and make the film passable.
Acting game: well, there is nothing to say, most actors do not play, but are strained.
Lipsing: It seems that the authors have forgotten what it is, because in almost every episode the discrepancy between the movement of the lips and the speech spoken is striking. Apparently, the text changed, and for some reason did not dare to reshoot.
Effects: although they are not impressive, but they are few in the film, and they are not the main feature of the film.
The last point is the battle scenes. I think that’s what the film should have been about. When I started watching the movie, I was hoping for them. But what happened?! The battle scenes are, in a word, lazy. Sometimes strange angles, when you don't understand how someone was hit. Blows ' not felt '. By these words, I mean those moments when the viewer sees relatively slow blows, and opponents react to them as if they were being battered. There are also episodes where the opponents of the Gopniks wait to be hit, and the opponents themselves wave their arms or weapons over their heads instead of trying to hit the opponent. And of course, air strikes, which are noticeable even without slowing down. In general, in my opinion, the main feature of the film, which needed to focus, made very lazy.
A one-time movie. I can't call him bad. It's neutral, kind of bland. Nothing is brought to mind.
With this title, the creators of the tape wanted to lure the audience, remembering how well the Indonesian almost eponymous hit was welcomed. At first, this caused ridicule, it was hard to believe that it would be a worthy spectacle, I thought, some copy in the style of Mikhail Porechenkov and his D-Day. But the desire to see took over, moreover, one interesting person starred in the picture.
The plot is not new. In fact, I would say that it is quite banal. Everything is in the palm of your hand, some moments are opened, but in terms of intrigue, it is weak here. But fighting, both in hand-to-hand and on knives - in bulk. That's what I didn't expect from our filmmakers. In fact, the whole film consists of this, like the Asian blockbuster with Iko Weiss. The scenes of fights came out very high-quality, the creators of the picture understood that since this aspect is emphasized, then here you need to work out in detail every fight, every blow, every movement. Not a masterpiece fight, of course, but quite interesting. At least I didn’t want to stop watching.
The film keeps in suspense from beginning to end. Events constantly turn everything upside down. Allies become enemies, and vice versa, more than once. The whole movie looks very convincing and vivid. Many hamstrings make this picture with a slight shade of comedy, but only a little. In addition, towards the end, the level began in places just to scale, winning the palm of primacy of interest from action scenes.
A certain Ivan Kotik played the main role in the film. The name is new to me, but I will remember it. Read that he worked as a stuntman in Jackie our Chan, and even played cameo roles in films with his participation, such as "Armor of God: Mission Zodiac", "Sword of the Dragon" and "Secret of the seal of the dragon". Therefore, to understand where he has combat skills is not difficult. I want to believe that we will see it on the screen again, because we lack such masters. Played his role convincingly, a kind of former retired, silent and very fair. With his purpose, he got into this mess. And money is not that goal at all.
Athletes trained as raiders looked very interesting shots, in fact, they were not even given names, but their group looked like devils powerful and dangerous. This is especially true of their leader, who, for all his apparent arrogance and desire to go to the end, turns out to be a deeper person. Friendship for him is a big part of life, he is one of those who will stand up for each other even if the friend is wrong. And if at first it seemed that these athletes are just some bunch of gopniks, hum on a boor, then in the course of the tape this opinion changes. We are presented with the boys in a more rosy light, making their characters more coherent and convincing.
My main reason why I wanted to see this film was the participation of my countryman, the famous powerlifter Kirill Sarychev. I didn’t expect to pull him into the movies, after all, from the moment he began to break record after record in all kinds of competitions, time passed and his desire to go into a new industry was not noticeable. But I liked his move, and his character, a big worker at the factory, gave a good boil for the boys during the raid. It's a pity that it was almost never shown again, but it turned out great. Pugachev, where Kirill is from, warmly welcomed this film because of his participation. Still, in our town there have never been any celebrities, and here already an important figure in the world of powerlifting, and now also an actor!
In general, an ordinary seemingly action movie reveals its inner edges - here you and justice, and help to your neighbor, and revenge, and most importantly - this is a cool memorable spectacle, which pleased us with the domestic cinema. That's right. A thrilling film that will suit every connoisseur of the action genre. Girls, perhaps, it is better to pass by, too much brutality and muzzle. But there are many more shootings, quite high-quality and interesting. My advice to you is to put aside all the semantic components, forget about the acting or what else you pay attention to when watching movies, and just enjoy this wild action, which is abundant here. I don’t think we’ve done this before.
A real "home" dish without commercial packaging and advertising
Characters! It's all done by them. Not & #39; blurred & #39; stars of domestic semi-militants, who usually barely squeeze out a couple of similar to reality actions. There are real masters, for whom this is not a movie, but life. That's the difference, and that's why the film will always be like black on white in the row of domestic ' hand-to-hand soapboxes ' for years.
Move! Did anyone notice how the mopping-up team and the main character move during the shootout? That's how they move in reality. Short steps and runs, half-sitting constantly ' obsessing ' muzzle. Shoot only from the shortest possible distance, to be sure, and not from a pistol from 30 meters. And if they fall or beat, then briefly, without ' talk' and ostentatious cinematography. And how the Mineev moves. Look at his distance in hand-to-hand combat. That's why you do. After viewing no children's ' Hands' from ' Mentov', ' Sea Devils' etc. are no longer perceived or canned!
This film looks even without a script idea and with the simplicity of scenes, without ' non-acting' professional stuntman (Nikita) and 'pops' at the end. It looks because it is 'frames ' here decided everything and for everyone. And if for someone the obvious reality is secondary, then you should watch fairy tales.
A rather frivolous film that does not claim depth or drama. All that is in it in terms of the plot are symbols, scenery. Here is the main character, all of himself correct, Nordic character, face beat master, excellent combat training. This is the main villain, he has done many things and therefore must be defeated. This is the factory of the main villain, which breaks into the main character (by the way, it was unexpected, I expected the hero to guard the plant). That's enough, and now DERITES!
The main character turned out to be absolutely disgusting, squishy-correct tin soldier with pathetic speeches and undisturbed eyes. The main villain is slightly better, but he is relatively small in the film.
The only people I enjoyed watching were athletes who didn’t even have names, who were taken almost for extras. Behind each one is a character, there are cool chips, the manner of fighting is his own - this is not even mentioning Mineev, a professional kickboxer who plays the main athlete. It is interesting to watch the fights of these bulls, not that the main character with his blows with the back of the palm and similar tricks from bad Chinese films. Even the bearish character, who has four sentences for the whole film, is more interesting than the main character.
After the main array of fights, there is a lull and I began to suspect that all the interesting things ended there, and no. The last part of the film is a shootout made, I suspect, by the same people who are making the series Raid for the game Escape from Tarkow. Very similar body kit, manner of shooting, weapons, movement of fighters. That, in case you didn't understand, is praise. The shootings in the finale of the film are great.
The result is a one-time film, there are not enough stars from the sky, but you will not get bored. If, of course, to forgive him "localism" and the script, consisting of only clichés.
There are fights, but there is no point. The latter, it seems, should be present in unsaid phrases, half hints, and the main character appears before the viewer as a kind of Charles Bronson, observing his code of silence. The lawlessness of the nineties comes to life in the picture with a new force. Screenwriters are clearly cheating. As a result: action scenes for five plus. But in terms of at least some sense hardly three.
It is very difficult to evaluate this work. There's a lot to it. Even the title shows that the film should cosplay the idea of the Indonesian megarubilovo "Raid". At first, it seems that this is what the authors are doing. And it turns out to be shit. After all, the original “Raid” is famous for the fact that there is not just a makhach, but a megamahach. And any cosplay will look like a pathetic left hand. And even having such a Cossack background, fashionable in the nineties, during the popularization of self-styled plastuns and all sorts of Slavic-Goritsky struggles there. And in general, the film is a lot of that, unprecedented in post-Soviet cinema, but to verify such a dull movie of the 90s. But then gradually you start to feel that this is a furiously ironic and self-ironic movie, and the details of the 90s are just for the banter. And this animal seriousness is precisely posthumous, designed to ridicule this most animal seriousness.
And so everything went two-thirds of the film and it would have been fine, but for the second third of the authors for some reason turned the mode of drama with a bunch of dead and sacrifices, killing the banter completely, for some reason making the film serious. That is, going into a format where Rusraid disappears everything that made him attractive, and bringing to the clearing, completely secondary after the original Reid, and even flavored with a murky flair of the 90s cinema. Why the authors killed their own cool and original film is unclear. But for the first two-thirds of the film, I'll leave my opinion positive.
A great movie to turn on when no one is watching. Lots of moves, mediocre fights and shootouts. And it doesn't make any sense. It's not worth looking at, just as a background.
A long time ago, back in Soviet times, a film was shot 'In the zone of special attention' telling about how a group of paratroopers performs a task during military exercises.
By analogy 'Russian raid' can be called 'In the zone of special raiding'. All the same, only a paratrooper (judging by his vet; in the film his military specialization is difficult to determine - he is a sniper, and a sapper, and a melee fighter) only one, not counting the group acting with him & #39; colleague' unclear affiliation (whether Gopniks, whether ex-special forces, whether athletes-handmen, or bandits), and here is not a military exercise, but a raider capture of the plant.
Overall, the script was pleasantly surprised. The writer turned out to be quite inventive and clearly looked not only 'Die Hard' and 'Rade' but also 'Professional', 'Kill Zoe' and 'Dirty Dozen' Dramaturgy 'Russian Raid' although not well cut, but still firmly sewn.
'Improperly cut, but tightly sewn' - the same can be said about the production. Directing is typical for thrash: poverty and monotony of directorial techniques, compensated by shock effects (in this case - 'meat');) and action. However, ' Russian Raid' in its specifics is almost a unique phenomenon: it is difficult to remember another film, where all ' holes' and inconsistencies in the narrative director ' retouched' exclusively ' Kuleshov effect' mounting one with another without any logical transition. The audience will understand everything!
A fair amount of screen time in ' Russian raid' takes action - mainly scenes of hand-to-hand combat and combat with cold weapons. They were shot cheerfully and energetically, but at the same time old-fashioned (so it was customary to shoot action in the times ' In the zone of special attention') and, in general, implausible. Too little shooting ' one frame ' too much editing!
It should be noted that the director tried. A number of scenes ' Russian Raid' original and curious in their pictorial solution. But one effort is not enough - you also need a skill that was clearly lacking here.
Acting on average is about the same as in a typical Russian gangster movie or TV series. In addition to the picture, I will note the game of Ivan Kotik (the same paratrooper) - there are not enough stars from the sky, but he is quite charismatic. Not Boris Galkin or Liam Neeson, but better than Frank Grillo.
Another thing is that the above mentioned ' improper modesty' screenplay is manifested in the motivational inadequacy of the characters and their actions. Therefore, in a number of scenes, the actors have nothing left but a banal reading of the text with expression.
Another pleasantly surprising element 'Russian Raid' is a sane soundtrack. It's hard to say how good it is outside the film, but the soundtrack here is diverse and in harmony with the action.
Summing up the above - alas, but 'Russian raid' in its artistic level - thrash.

Although the creators of the picture clearly tried.
The '90s aren't over, they're lying around waiting.
Russia today is not much different than it was 20 years ago. Both before and now, militant groups are fighting for the redistribution of power. Officials serve big business and are willing to turn a blind eye to how raider seizures of property across the country are going. Of course, these realities can not cause ordinary people calm feelings, but few of us can actually influence anything. And that’s why films such as “Russian Raid” have such success with the public, as their characters at least on the screen can influence something.
The events of this film revolve around a single factory. Once he fired rockets, but as soon as the USSR collapsed, the leadership decided to repurpose the main activity on liquor and vodka products. It would seem that this is already possible to build a full-fledged drama, but do not rush to conclusions, because the most interesting here is just beginning.
These days, when people talk about glasnost and democracy on TV, everything is repeated exactly as it was in the 90s. The next interested persons are going to take over the plant bypassing legal procedures and for this they are recruiting a gang of well-trained militants, that is, guys with excellent physical training. Among the leaders of the attack group is Nikita. He has been through the war, knows hand-to-hand combat and is well trained in strategy and tactics. But he has his own game, he is not going to silently follow orders, and then the most interesting thing begins.
Of course, the plot of the film is topical, this is a fact, and may not be the most difficult, but to be honest, “Russian Raid” looks with interest from the first to the last minute. This film is tense, there are a lot of really tough, unpredictable moments and for Nikita you worry, because despite some straightforwardness, the role of Ivan Kotik was played simply magnificently. I think he should keep acting and the dramas will wait. In an action movie, he is able to reveal his best talents, which means you should not try to run away where he can not get everything.
In general, the film aroused my interest even though I usually like a little more other genres, ranging from comedies, melodramas and the like. But I was able to appreciate “Russian Raid”, because this is a really cool spectacle, which for its artistic direction is filmed at least perfectly. So you can give a domestic fighter a chance like I did. You will not be disappointed.
At one of the factories of our vast Motherland comes difficult days. Some people decided to change management to take over the company. But since we live in Russia, there is a great chance that this will happen not quite in a legal way. As you can guess, this is a raider seizure. This practice was very common when communism changed to capitalism, then stories with raider seizures quieted down a little, but gradually old bad habits began to return and in the news you can hear many stories about how the owners of a particular enterprise were forced to step aside and accept an inhospitable fate.
Specifically, the plot of the Russian Raid tells about one such operation, which is considered on the example of a whole plant. If we talk about his direction, he is engaged in the manufacture of alcohol. And as you know in Russia, this is a very winning topic, you can earn money especially without worrying about anything. So a group of people from high offices hire guys with excellent physical training to very quickly, without unnecessary noise and dust, change the shape of the property of the plant. The invaders have a room plan, a security schedule and high hopes for a successful outcome of the operation. But it wasn't.
It turns out that among his found the so-called “mole”. He seems to like to break into the factory, but he has his own goals, for which everything is started. Nikita is only interested in his special interest, which leads him forward. The guy has long-standing accounts with enemies, we can even say that blood feud, and now he has all the opportunities to accomplish a long-term plan just during the raider capture.
For director Denis Kryuchkov, “Russian Raid” became the largest film in his career, and he understood that he had no right to let the producers down. Still, his career was at stake, and a lot depended on the artistic indicators of the Russian Raid. The stakes were really high, and I was pleased that they played as they should.
Maybe the movie is very simple in some places, but after all, we are watching not a drama, but a dashing action movie on the “old school”. Honestly, for me, it’s no worse than some “Commando” or other classic action films. But what pleases us most is that the Russian Raid tells us about our Russian realities. Dos it boldly, not afraid to touch critical moments of perception of our social and social life.
As you can see, I liked Russian Raid, and I see no reason not to watch it. I’ve watched the film a couple of times myself, of course, mainly for the sake of cool action, but the main thing here is that Russian Raid confidently speaks out on the topics raised in the plot and may make our officials think whether they are right in those things where the first thing you need to think about people.

I don’t understand why people are excited about this movie. Decisive. Just an action movie? All right, let's have an action movie. But let's just say, with idiots and morons on board. In the film, no character is serious. Neither did any scene. No one evokes any positive emotions or any sympathy. From the first minutes of the film, the number 2 of a sniper couple is a preoccupied idiot with shorts in front of his eyes, not an important goal. The general scene, too. Why? Just compare it to any scene from Sniper’s ' Tom Berenger (1993) and see why. You know, it's a hoot. Just beyond the level of martial arts skill. In the company of a master of secret knife-fighting and a schniff for compatibility. They rushed at the call of an incomprehensible major to squeeze out the factory from ' people' unimaginably higher than them in terms of thieves. Of course, bare hands. Of course, it's not about who lives in the city. It's the early '90s. And with whom no one knows and Makhnovshchina walks around the country. The current owners of the plant are not simple, people ' Dear' and with 'authority'. Only very limited in power cover. Probably because of greed. But there's chief security. Apparently, from the Cossacks-characters or others, perfectly possessing cold weapons. Later it turned out that not very. ' Kadochnikov' was stronger 'Slavic-Gorica' or vice versa. With the guards of the plant, everything is clear - meat. There's a third party, the girl. Honey. Former police officers interested in the administration of justice. Above all this is an organization that cannot be spoken of. Because of its extreme coolness and danger to others. But, as it turned out, it is quite possible to say. And even beat and humiliate. Hey, hopniks! In general, everything mixed up in the Oblonsky house - horses, people. And the cores were prevented from flying by a mountain of bloody bodies. I didn't. I started laughing with my wife in the 40th minute. No meaning, no play, no normal plot. I couldn't stand it. I closed the player. I decided to look at Tom Beckett. Or 'Spirit Gorge'. At worst - 'Single swimming'. Once upon a time we were able to shoot good fighters.
In fact, the authors coped with the main task - to adapt the original 'Reid' Gareth Evans... in Russian! Very original and inventive approach to many questions - why during the raid, all without firearms, and the overall plan for ' hitting ' followed by ' pressing ' Enterprises - all thought out extremely smart and even stylish. As in the original film managed to show all these dirty showdowns and criminal connections between the bandits and the police, but to create a unique atmosphere.
From the original film, there’s just a storming of the building and predominant hand-to-hand combat... and the latter is a big problem. The fights are very well staged, but how bad they are filmed, how poorly edited, how lame the film is painted and what a dull music it is. Already with the picture sort of figured out in recent years, we have TV series come out in visual quality no worse than in decaying Hollywood, but why in ' Russian raid' it turned out a picture and sound, as in the soapy melodrama of the beginning of zero from the RTR channel?
Because of the shoddy picture and sound is very hurtful, here the actors play well, and fight really, spectacularly, powerfully, but all this is boring and not cool. It could have been much, much better. I myself am the director of the editing, I had a burning desire to throw a couple of loots on the film myself, make it darker, juicier, in gray-blue tones and a candy would come out and there would be no problems with this - the film is faded and pale, almost without beauty. But the original materials and installation cannot be corrected.
Operator, editor, colorist and composer of the film - shame and shame on you. This movie would be 9/10 if you made it visually cool. They were afraid to experiment or the solution was on top, I don’t know, but it was a failure. For the script and approach to adaptation - low bow, it's not just ' our answer ' but really quality original adaptation, made with inspiration and understanding of the source material. Therefore, despite all the shortcomings of the visual, I can not help but make the review positive. From the film received a pleasant surprise and sincere pleasure.
Perhaps many will agree that domestically produced films are often the object of ridicule. Decent pictures certainly come to light, but they are many times, if not ten times less than those weak and passing pictures that destroy any hopes for a worthy film. A pleasant and unexpected exception was this film directed by Denis Kryuchkov.
The plot of the film revolves around a group of young people who have prepared a perfect plan for the raider seizure of an alcohol factory. Enlisting the support of insiders and receiving detailed drawings of the territory, they penetrate the plant. But soon, the takeover of the plant turns out to be far from what they planned. Starting with the leader of the raiders, who has his own plans and ending with the real owners of the plant, which turned out to be far from so simple.
The naked eye can see (as well as the title) that when creating this tape, the authors drew inspiration from the director Gareth Evans, who has already become a cult “Raid”, who pleasantly surprised audiences around the world in 2011. Giving the audience an insanely spectacular film with almost non-stop spectacle and an extremely nominal script. It is the same system that this film develops.
The main emphasis of this tape is made on the abundance of hand-to-hand fights, which in my opinion look very, very even worthy. Not the level of Gareth Evans' Raid, but it's still impressive both in terms of production and performance. spoiling the impression only extremely poor soundtrack and frankly weak work of the sound engineer, which lubricates at least half of the impression of these most action scenes.
The plot of this tape was also simple. However, in the second half of the narrative throws the audience a lot of unexpected plot twists, significantly complicates the plot and leads the audience to an extremely bloody ending. All this is achieved due to the very interesting dynamics of the attitude of the main characters with numerous betrayals, reconciliations and changes of sides in the screen conflict.
The actors played pretty well. It is not necessary to talk about a strong dramatic play of actors. Since some actors do not pull even half the necessary emotional background. However, the impression is smoothed by the strong charisma of most actors, as well as excellent physical characteristics, decent mastery of martial arts and his own performance of many action scenes and tricks. Especially from Ivan Kotik.

Russian Raid is one of the few films of domestic production, for which there is simply no shame. You can’t call a perfect movie. However, the authors of this tape managed to put a very dynamic, exciting, famously twisted from the point of view of the second half of the story with extremely realistic and spectacular by the standards of domestic cinema action scenes.
Of course, our realities say that the time of the 90s has not yet sunk into oblivion. So raiding is not a story from a dashing era, but the most that neither is reality. The raiders plotted the seizure of the distillery: insider information was obtained, contacts in the structures were included, even hackers in the subject. However, everything is not going according to plan at all, and what was planned as a spit case turns into a bloody trap. As it turned out, one of the "raiders" his plans for the "raid" and the whole operation turns into settling personal bills for the affairs of bygone days.
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the movie. Fighter? Ours? Of course, raised by arthouse and films about life dramas, I went to a session full of skepticism. And you know, I was pleasantly “disappointed” by the fact that at first I did not give a chance to the domestic militant to prove myself. After all, if I were immediately tuned into the right way, the impression would be even brighter. I really enjoyed the movie! Right in the best traditions of my favorite militants of the late nineties – the beginning of zero! I couldn’t believe for a while that this was our movie. Only the gloomy surroundings of our factories said that the film is Russian.
All right, it's all lyrics. Probably, I was so affected by the film that I’m here in curtsey bowing. On business. Yes! The issue of raiding is very acute in the countries of the former USSR, since a large number of production heritage at one point became no one’s and today it is difficult to honestly judge which plant belongs to whom and whether legally. In the abyss of the struggle for property, many destinies were broken and it is not surprising that there are still people today who have not closed the gestalt, which is associated with the dashing time of seizure of property.
In our film, this person is Nikita, who is a professional soldier, performing secret combat missions in different parts of the world. It is he who is destined to lead a gang of raiders into the raid. And it is he who has a “personal interest” in this matter, which is based precisely on the gestalts of the past. I will not talk more about the plot, so as not to spoil your viewing, but I will say one thing – the motivation and the main character is killer and the goal is really justified. As a matter of conscience.
The director of the picture Denis Kryuchkov is not widely known to the viewer, but I video one of his paintings “Moats”, which I remember for its masterful presentation of characteristic characters (despite the comedy genre). As a lover of the action genre, I am pleased that young and talented people put a hand in the revival of the genre. It will be interesting to see in the future how the genre progresses, giving birth to new names and fixing a certain specificity of paintings for them.
It was a killer movie. Numerous masters of hand-to-hand combat and martial arts take part here, which makes this male film truly fascinating - all scenes of fights and confrontations look very spectacular and not cardboard. It was interesting to learn that one of the main actors Vladimir Mineev is a champion in mixed martial arts. That is, you understand that the entertainment approached thoroughly.
Yes, talking about the “Russian raid” is like trying to describe the words “Fight” or “Double strike” – here you have to look. There are bad guys, there are good guys. Good goals and justified motivation. We're watching the standoff. What else can I add? Nothing. You have to look. And I tell you responsibly: Russian Raid is one of the most memorable militants of the last ten years. This has not been on the big screen for a long time. Great male movie with character. I highly recommend it.
Just think about how many people around you can have serious military experience, and you do not even know it. Our country has participated in many conflicts around the world, because of which we have formed the strongest military school, training specialists in espionage, infantry, intelligence and other areas, who must perform the most important tasks and not get caught. However, a soldier’s career does not end with general skirts for everyone.
Many soldiers return home without knowing what to do next. If a retired soldier has a home, a family and a desire to live, he becomes a defender, but when he is left with nothing, and knows only what life has taught him in the service, there is a huge probability that Ghosn will become a criminal. And now both these facets of soldier life in the civil world were perfectly represented in the new domestic action movie with the name, which in general speaks for itself – “Russian Raid”.
Speaking about the plot of the film, he tells us about a well-planned operation to seize the former rocket factory, which now produces alcohol. In principle, the essence of what the company is doing now is not even so important, since it is to some extent a global illustration of what happened in our country in the 90s, and the echoes of what we hear so far. So, the raider operation is thought out to the smallest detail. The organizers of the seizure have everything you need, including drawings of the building, the schedule of the day of security and so on. But things are not going as smoothly as we would like.
The thing is that one of the key persons in the organization of the capture is Nikita, a guy with a military past who has seen many dangers in his lifetime and survived. Employers believe that the hero will easily cope with the task, but he has his own special reasons to turn the plan in his direction and arrange revenge, which he planned a long time ago.
Of course, "Russian Raid" in the first place is an excellent action movie, which famously passes by all the laws of the genre and gives us a grinding spectacle. Honestly, do not count on the documentary accuracy of what is happening, but just relax and get real pleasure from all those tricks that perform for us live. Well, it is not easy since most of the actors who starred in the film are seriously engaged in martial arts and are professional stuntmen.
It is noteworthy that the lead actor, Ivan Kotik, is a real star of Asian action. He took an active part in Jackie Chan’s stunt work and has a strong reputation in China. In addition, Kotik is also a serious actor who has completed the appropriate training, which makes it clear why he was invited to the “Russian Raid” for leading positions.
But for all the action, which is more than enough here, I still note that the Russian Raid tries to show us what is going on in the minds of those guys who returned from the war, but the ghosts of the past constantly overtake them. Someone is destined to get out, become better, find peace in the soul, but some will have to go through another pit, from which, unfortunately, not everyone will get out.
“Russian Raid” will appeal to you if you like me (yes, I’m a girl!), like action movies, staged in the style of the old school, but at the same time it feels that the authors had at their disposal special tools with which they shot a really worthwhile action, which became the decoration of the production. It was an interesting game.
Probably, since the time of the fighters with the beautiful Ushuist Jamal Azhigirei (lamp ' Monk', more professional ' Lotus Strike' and his two sequels, military 'The Way') in the domestic cinema there were no hand-to-hand fighters - and in vain. A break of more than a dozen years buried the hope that was growing in the fans of martial arts that over time we will have our own ' double punches', ' dragon exits' and ' kickboxers'. And finally came out 'Russian raid'!
Guys, I'll say without water... It's useless! Denis Kryuchkov and the team made a real gift to all fans of martial arts films!
The most competent decision is to take on the production of team member Jackie Chan, and on the role of athletes - real fighters! This is much better than calling an actor, teaching him a couple of tricks and three moves a week before filming, and then watching on the screen completely wooden equipment.
The fights are staged and executed at an excellent level. Everyone has their own style! Fighter against boxer, Ushuist ' Northern' Style vs Sportsman-Kickboxer. Those who follow the modern world of martial arts will see a bunch of familiar faces.
The final shootout with the mercenaries was staged very organically - experts probably advised.
In short... this is a stop-and-go movie for those guys who grew up in the 90s, a fan of action movies like ' Tiger's Claw' and ' The best of the best' and will be able to distinguish Dacascos from Billy Blanks!
Very niche film - for fans of martial arts, but this is its main advantage! It turned out to be a party for their own, and not their own would not have appreciated.
The only downside is almost no advertising!!! Guys, creators and marketers, seriously, don’t do that! You made a great movie, so tell me about it. More promo, more reporting from the set. The same productions of combat scenes, rehearsals before shooting - it would be any expensive to see!
And so, I had a lot of fun! A real quality action movie! Our film industry needs them!
"Russian raid" - this is the name of the film directed by Denis Kryuchkov.
I have looked and I will tell you honestly, in a state close to samurai ecstasy.
You see, all this “Russian raid” can be described in one expression – honest “beshka”. That is, before us - an honest dashing muzzle-breaking and bone-breaking militant. Well, as previously in the first echelon of the cohort of video hits, the great Chuck and Stephen performed, but behind them were Dons “Dragons”, Lorenzo Lamas, Olivier Gruners and other successors of the Kickboxer case.
In the West, now this genre, alas, is almost extinct, only Scott Adkins fights for the viewer, like a lion roaring. And it's beautiful. But we decided to shoot something like those same militants of category B. WU within the genre turned out quite well. Undoubtedly, the masterpiece and the current icon of the genre – the Indonesian “Raid” – this film is very, very far away. But the boy tries and over time from a small cadet can still turn out a good fighter.
And here to a clean action movie added a little humor and a little thrash. It turned out quite rough and, mainly, to the place.
What else? Undoubtedly, this picture absorbed the ocean of all the cliches and cliches. There is a long road of revenge of the main character, and flashbacks, and fights on cold weapons, and shootouts, and gangsters, and corrupt cops (I can not call such policemen or policemen). There will be “Raid”, “Hostage” (the one with Bruce Willis), and “Sniper” with “Shooter” of all stripes.
But it's not a script. It's all about action! And that's for him and just need to see this picture on the big screen! It's a real corridor shooter in places!
The athletes and stuntmen who starred in the film tried their best. They're good! You didn't. It was very nice to see this battle of titans of different species.
Summary: Only action, only fire! Help the Hades!!! For goodness and justice!
I just came from the theater. Movie euphoria has come down and we can honestly say about patriotism, effectivity and sympathy.
Partiotism
I'm talking about comparisons with foreign fighters. You can't compare it to others. Our Russian fighter is still young and, judging by the Russian raid, hot. Our fighter should be given a chance and he will be justified. Maybe someone did not notice, but finally sports cattle open their mouths and do not want to lower their eyes in shame. Opposite! The youth spoke menacingly and stupidly. Just like the usual Russian sport.
Efficiency
Shooters still want to call ' shooters' but not ' scenes of a shootout' I’m not begging the talent of the shootout directors, but they clearly lose to scenes with fights, which I certainly want to call ' scenes. fight'. And while the movie was about fighting, it was good. When a bull was brought to the stage, which raised two gopniks, one in each hand, I was generally delighted! (Although it is not clear what the outcome was.) In the words of Heath Ledger’s Joker: 'He evaporated!' Mass slaughter generally creates a clear feeling that the guys in tracksuits know a lot about street fights. But! When ' Soldier ' made ' Ninja ' you start catching yourself thinking: ' And when is the final fight? Probably the most delicious left for the last day & #39; No, no, no, no! Perhaps the most important thing about this movie is the final fight!! Guys, he's the final! Everyone knows that, unlike any drama or comedy, the main thing in a fighter is a fight! And the final fight should remain in the minds of militant fans!
COMMUNICATION
I didn't expect 'cannon fodder' to be so cute. At some point, they began to resemble ninja turtles from the Russian entrance. They did everything right: who can speak - to the foreground, who can't - in a blue suit. And here's the girl in white... Why? I am not talking about acting qualities (I want to shout about her acting qualities, but I will keep silent (I thought some agent could hold a gun in his hands), but purely in the script. If you took it away and accidentally brought our Soldier into the warehouse, would anything change? To sum up: I want to sympathize with people who came to earn money by beating innocent people, but I do not want a person who is ' for justice!'.
I came to enjoy the action movie and didn’t pay attention to the rest. And got exactly 8 stars on the Movie Search. The other two stars are dedicated to the girl in white, the head of security, who collects cold weapons (writers, ay-yay-yay!) and completely invisible flashbacks, with children's acting. Although I danced fervently.
On the screens of cinemas, a rare guest is a domestic hand-to-hand action movie! I, as a fan of the genre, was waiting for him, from the very moment when I first saw a traditional painted plate somewhere on the Internet with the names of the entire film crew and an intriguing name - "Russian Raid".
So, as my love for “old school” fighters has been instilled in me since childhood, and the Indonesian dilogy of “Reida” is loved and revised a dozen times, my unrestrained imagination has already painted this project as a kind of remake of the Asian brotherhood. But judging by the promotional materials, we are still waiting for a completely different story, but which is to the delight of all fans, also sets foot on the territory of testosterone, inventive and tooth crushing “mahach”.
Unfortunately, in our country, there are still few pictures of this direction and therefore each representative of this genre is worth its weight in gold. I do not beg anyone for merit, but not very many examples of combat action come to mind. Yes, we have “war” films – they are mostly doing well and the recent “Balkan Frontier” once again confirmed this, but here is a bit of a different weight category. Criminal fighters such as Piranha Hunt, Antikiller, Elimination Decisions are also remembered, but they have more crime than hand-to-hand combat. There are good inclusions in fiction - "Outpost", "Paragraph 78", "On the Game". Let’s not forget about sports representatives – the trilogy “Shadow Fight”, “Hammer” or “Warrior”. And if you completely ignore such a phenomenon as the films of Alexander Nevsky, then in the end, a more or less “pure” hand-to-hand action film of recent years is “Hardcore” Naishuller – isn’t it enough?
That is why I wanted to quickly look at this project and understand whether our filmmakers managed to occupy this semi-empty niche with a decent picture. I'll tell you right away. A great merit of success and a huge plus I believe that the film attracted really professionals in their field, because in the cast and staged composition – took part professional stuntmen and fighters.
The main find of the picture is the lead actor Ivan Kotik - the actor is unique and ideally suited for the necessary tasks. He fascinates not only with a cute name, but with a knocking choreography of fights. I climbed the Internet and was surprised and proud to find that Ivan works in the team of stuntmen Jackie Chan and even lit up in several films with him – now it is clear where the legs grow.
And besides Kotik, there are plenty of sports stars. MMA fighter of mixed style Andrey Semenov, famous stuntman Konstantin Adayev, powerlifter Kirill Sarychev - and these are only those I recognized, and how many of them were actually there, experts I think will easily find. In general, it is immediately clear that the creators wanted to make not just another criminal militant, but also qualitatively introduce the power and filigree of hand-to-hand combat into it. And they did it at a very high level. In some places, some scenes even look more interesting and creative than in the same “Raid”, and this is my level.
In addition, it is gratifying that debutant Denis Kryuchkov, not only decided to show fights for the sake of fights, but did not forget about the plot. And just through the plot, he talks to the audience on very serious topics - about the fate of people, their spiritual path and determinism in general.
Of course, I very much hoped that the picture would turn out to be worthy, but I did not believe so much. Now the doubts are completely discarded and we can safely say that the debut was a success. Let’s believe that this is just the beginning for such paintings to appear more often. Fans of horror and horror films the Russian film industry pleases, so let the fans of action movies and the on-screen “makhach” will also be pleasant at least a couple of three times a year.

The raiders have a perfect plan to take over the vodka factory. However, the drawings of the territory, dirt, hackers and a team of fighters who want to smear the face of everyone they meet do not help the heroes to avoid a bloody shootout. Everything goes awry when it becomes clear that an arms trade business has developed inside the factory, and the main character has come here for personal revenge. Around this time, problems with the script begin. Scenes with fights, which attracted the first half an hour, become more boring and annoying. And camera work and editing gluing crush an already unexpressive plot. It is curious that earlier in the building of the plant were engaged in the construction of rockets, which naturally leads to the subtext of changing morals. But can we talk about any changes in the film, which so vividly demonstrates the lasting influence of the 90s on Russian everyday life? Here are recognizable markers from the gangster cinema of the time: indifferent police, illegal activities and thirst for power. However, the film could be a good nostalgia for the past years, if he managed to choose the right angle for his story.
At 1, I want to praise the film for its acting skills, namely the people who played thugs. They got so caught up in the role that I thought for a second it was all real. Also in the film a great atmosphere: a lot of shooting, action and so on. Unfortunately, for me, the pluses are over. In the film, the rest seemed mediocre: a very boring main villain, few enticing moments (except shootings), as well as a lot of questions (plots), which, alas, the film does not give answers.
Cinema is emerging from the shadow of the coronavirus, but the industry's cure is slow and uncertain. Rumors are creeping about the second wave of the pandemic, which means that the first victims will be filmmakers, as well as representatives of other mass entertainment. If everyone is locked in their homes again, as they say, “there will be no cinema.” Therefore, you need to capture the moment and watch a decent movie in a variety of genres. As for the militant, it is beyond doubt – “Russian raid”.
Against the general emotional background, the new Russian film “Russian Raid” is like looking at yourself in the mirror. Maybe it’s not the easiest thing, because the filmmakers tried to show our reality in a tough way, but I believe that such a film will definitely not be superfluous. In this regard, even feature films are becoming more and more documentary. There is no point in inventing comics when we see a film purer than the classics of Hollywood.
We’ve already forgotten who the raiders are, so the subject of the film may seem strange. But it's only at first glance. Now is the time to think about the past and think about it well, so that in an instant you do not find yourself in a ruined country, like 20 years ago. What if they do? What is the 90s and how, to put it in a boy’s way, to get off, jump off, go into a scuffle?
What is happening on the screen is a certain episode, which during the collapse of the Soviet Union was enough. Someone came to encroach on private property, which was not yet a "sacred cow" as for today's wealthy privateers. The usual raider capture turns into a local war between the principled “boys from the 90s” and those who crossed their path. The thing is that Nikita, a former soldier of special forces, who has his own personal motives, went to the raider capture. He doesn’t need a factory, he doesn’t care about those who are behind the attack and who need the benefit. But for the sake of his personal ideals, he will go to the very edge!
Not everyone will be able to watch it just as an action movie – young viewers will still have to read at least Wikipedia on the topic of the collapse of the empire, at the same time learning how it affected specific people. Everything will be dynamic and beautiful, but also instructive. Here we will see clear examples, find out what moves Nikita on his path to revenge and in detail consider a real strong action, which pleased even me. It’s not really that simple.
In one of the roles - the famous fighter of mixed martial arts Vladimir Mineev, in the frame - several first-class fighting scenes, including cutting on Japanese swords, a duel in the spirit of Steven Seagal on knives and detailed filmed men's hand-to-hand.
It is clear that "Raid in Russian" - a film ambiguous for the generation 2000+. Rather, his fans will be people who are nostalgic for B-category action movies, such as Blood Sports or the movie Fan. But a modern view of our recent past also has a right to exist. Now it is quite difficult to understand even what is happening around. Maybe we should start by exploring the origins of our new country, as the filmmakers suggest? Then it will be better to understand what to do tomorrow and what mistakes to avoid.
Russian Raid is a classic action movie with a plot from controversial times on the border of the transformation of the Soviet Union into a new Russia. But everything is modern, fashionable, elegant - in the end, the film is released by people who are well versed in the topic and were able to put a plot that knows how to keep in suspense and shows in all the bloody details in what world we live in.

Squeeze the plant using force, a classic story for the 90s, but even now in some cities of Russia you can see this phenomenon. It would seem that nothing should prevent the capture, but then the main character of the picture appears, who destroys all plans.
The film is to be praised for its combat scenes, especially hand-to-hand combat. The creators attracted not ordinary actors, but people who are engaged in martial arts and stuntmen who have many years of experience in staging combat scenes.
It is also worth mentioning the operator's work, I believe that
Alexey Sedov coped with the task and conveyed all the dynamics of the film. You can see references to films of the East of this genre. At its core, the film tries to tell the story of a man who will go to revenge for everything. There are no positive characters in the film, everyone does something that clearly does not color his action.
Although the film was made by Russians, it is difficult not to notice the moments of the so-called “Cranberries” & #39;. Military in veal, vodka, Kalashnikov assault rifle and gopak dance. These moments slightly blurred the whole atmosphere of the picture.
It is a pity that so little is said about the film. A good action film that you can watch at home forgetting about topical everyday life.

Here he is, finally. Category A sometimes makes itself felt, smashes its face against a box office failure and hides for an indefinite period, category C safely lives a kind of life on NTV - this, of course, is all great, but it has long been wanted to appear exactly the grindhouse. A militant who does not sit on the needle of attracting the masses due to budget modesty, while clearly far from television artisanalism.
Speaking of genre. The trailer has raised some concerns that it's a comedy that will feature two or three fights. However, on the contrary, “Russian Raid” is saturated with moving as much as the notorious masterpiece with a similar name. I would even say non-stop, almost everything that happens in an hour of forty is either action or a red carpet to it. Surprisingly, the plot is presented in a serious form, but the key characters are caricatured: an extremely valiant ex-warrior with a heavy look, in fact, no less than a samurai; bullish spores, which differ from their perestroika prototypes only in mixfighter handwriting; noble queens, pulling the ointment of people and the life of thieves; unafraid decided, who has everything captured, but nothing thought out; oh, lady in trouble, where without her. This contrast works perfectly, fatalistic pofigism in the best traditions of Hong Kong: slaughterhouse and positivity on schedule. In addition, comedic notes are caught, only the humor of the “Russian Raid” does not lend itself to academic characteristics, it is some transcendental and everyday. That is, funny are moments that outside the context of the general perception of the film would not be jokes as such. For example, I was laughed at by a bullet hitting one of the characters; when I thought, and where there is, in fact, humor, the answer went into the wilds of screenwriting. Simply put, a break of the template worked, they say, no, well, this does not happen, this cannot happen with a character of such a role. “Russian Raid” is playing a double game: using used clichés, sneakily mocking them. What is worth only one Urkagan-skipper, which will open in an unexpected hypostasis.
At first, it seems that the film follows not only the philosophical, but also the fighting tradition of British Hong Kong - in the beginning and middle of the fight, and in the end a little shot - but no, the shootout here is not dessert, but the second dish in the meal. However, to talk about them especially do not want; they are not that exciting or, on the contrary, a failure, rather everyday, boring enough that the excitement after the climax cooled down, but not enough to significantly spoil the overall impression of the film. So, fights. Their quality grows from the tie to the end of the climax. At first, raiders encounter bots; and here is a classic of mediocre hand-to-hand: guards wave batons, not really approaching the mercenaries, which they predictably use, evading and counterattacking. But I'll note that mercenaries move quickly, beat juicy, we are dealing with contact choreography in Asian. And when the bandits meet the bodyguards, the viewer enjoys perhaps the most elaborate and meticulously put wall-to-wall in the history of cinema. Well, the apogee of the fight-holiday is the internecine battle of the hopnik-mixfighter (Vladimir Mineev) against the warrior (Ivan Kotik), revealing the clash of ring tightness with army pragmatism. But the battle of the warriors against the Glavgad turned out to be too realistic, and therefore devoid of the magic of cinema. As for the ratio of drama and action, the interweaving turned out to be tight; for you to understand, the acting and chemistry between opponents are so expressive that during the fight of the Blatars and the head of security against the raiders, I wanted to raise my fist and shout “Yes, come on!”, as if rooting for the football team in real time.
The place of the “Russian Raid” in world cinema is the same as that of the first part of the “Collectors”: not stripped to shine, but made by the masters of their craft in a clear conscience, a militant of the category B. Disarming with his charm, a plague nugget with a hole in his pocket. No, alas, this is not a lever film that would give rise to a niche of action-grindhouses in Russian cinema, no, such joy under the yoke of the Cinema Foundation will not come down to us from heaven. Yes, “Outpost” (a cool action movie) and “Balkan Frontier” (a very cool action movie) also failed at the box office, but their equally high-budget followers will not take long to wait, since films like “Outpost” can gradually teach Russians to buy blockbusters made in RF, and films like “Balkan Frontier” – to breathe some political ideas into the masses, and the state likes to allocate subsidies to this. The Russian Raid, for all its steepness, is not needed by the masses, because it is in the yard of 2020, and the masses are no longer the same. It will dissolve in history, leaving a mark in the hearts of a few gourmets.

P.S. 'Your concepts - in one muzzle of gnaw ' - I take the phrase into service
A gang of raiders is planning to take over an alcohol factory. They are well prepared, attracted to the operation the strongest professionals in this field. What could possibly go wrong? However, when the interests of one strong man are at odds with the interests of the bandits, then quite unexpectedly a simple “raider raid” turns into a bloody massacre. Someone has to answer for the sins of the past, and it’s not about money. It's about revenge!
You see? If you ignore the whining of the haters of Russian films, most of which gondosite out of business, then you can definitely come across a great film that works cooler than many modern Hollywood action films. "Russian Raid" works perfectly! I am sure that he will become one of the most memorable fighters of recent times, since such a real action was not long ago.
"Russian Raid" is an incredible symbiosis of "Pirates of the 20th Century" and the Indonesian hit "Raid". There are great characters with well-designed motivation and there is a crazy drive with fascinating fight scenes, which makes this film a real event for fans of the “male” genre.
In addition to excellent leading actors, including Ivan Kotik and Alexander Krasovsky, who have already appeared in action films, the filmmakers attracted famous professional kickboxers and fighters of mixed martial arts, for whom a film debut took place in this film. That creative ensemble, which was formed on the screen, gives a real tense action movie with spectacular fights (there are even swords) and tricks.
Just as exciting makes the film and the script, which worked not only our writers, but also Hollywood experts (Robert Orr). Such a symbiosis allowed to create a coherent protagonist with excellent motivation, as well as to make the whole story fascinating, which allows the viewer to get involved in what is happening on the screen and imbued with the problems of the film.
I don’t know about other viewers, but in the film I saw an even slight hint of reasoning and thinking about those people who, having devoted their whole lives to someone else’s war, can not find peace within themselves and are doomed to spend their whole lives in search of peace and desire to realize themselves in ordinary life. Most likely, the main character of Nikita is exactly this - he wants to get even with the abuser of his father and continue to live calmly, gradually nullifying his dangerous tasks and switching to normal life.
Of course, I always bumble with anger when I hear from the news about another raider seizure. There is always a desire for these scoundrels to be punished. However, as it became clear to me from the film, it is always necessary to look at the whole situation more broadly. Sometimes it is not clear who is the first victim and who is the predator.
There are movies where you can say, “Go see a girl.” But this film is a rare example of the movie, which girls are advised to pull out their guys – believe me, they will be grateful. A great film, which has not been in the Russian film space for a long time. There's nothing to compare. Thank you so much to everyone involved.
