As a child, like all fans of cartoons with transformers, not without reason, cartoons were interesting, for children made without a pronounced American or Japanese stupidity (which was inherent in another cartoon of the time, where each series ended with the words “connect” or “super sword” and the enemies immediately died like flies, and you should ask what they had not previously “connected”)?
So, directly to the film, on the one hand, the film was shot for those very grown-up fans of the old Transformers, on the other hand, it was shot in a stupid naive style, the very Transformers for children that we watched.
What we got: an expensive, pathetic, incredibly stupid and delusional movie with a plot written, I think, by a child of 10 years. You could somehow better adapt a children's cartoon for adults, shove some deep ideas, and it turned out a screened Viny-Pooh, maybe I would have liked it as a child, but it was clearly designed for a older audience.
No sensations either during or after the film does not leave, to review it again – God forbid.
If it weren’t for the fact that the film was based on the old “Transformers” and the fact that the transformers themselves in the film are made superski (the only thing I liked) would have earned this pompous, expensive, but worthless film a solid unit.
Looking forward to the second part, the peeple is sipping.
To be honest, I didn’t play Transformers as a kid, read their comics, or watch their animated series. I was and still am not a fan of these so-called cool iron guys. Some people may think I had a poor childhood, but I don’t. I read the books right, too.
What made me rip my ass off and go to the premiere? Luxury advertising, producer Steven Spielberg, a stunning budget (although in King Kong it was higher) and plus all the authors promised to overtake the special effects “The Matrix” and all previously filmed blockbusters. You could say you did. And after watching it, there was a double impression and a couple of questions.
Pros.
Well, it's visual effects of course - all at the top level! Very spectacular and somehow slightly increase the level of adrenaline in the blood (especially when Transformers are transformed into some kind of machine and back into robots). Not at all against the fact that everything from beginning to end blockbuster, director and writers hone jokes in large quantities, turning serious themes into comedy (I think no one will be bored). But the director, alas, disappointed. What can you expect from Michael Bay?
Cons.
Stupid plot, no acting, dry drama - still make themselves felt. And I have not found a single special effect that would go down in the history of cinema. They promised to leave the Matrix behind. In between, the characters are also poorly spelled out (except for robots, they are all right). And some moments are alarming (when you expect that now something will happen, something cool and unthinkable, and then break off). If you promise that this will be a coup, then do it, and do not clutter the screen with the same effects.
Resume: Best summer blockbuster (this film received an MTV award two weeks before its release on the big screens, which leads to unpleasant thoughts)? Not at all. I think Die Hard 4.0 is better in both directing and special effects. Oops!

The beginning of the film is very beautiful. Secrecy, power and seriousness. But it takes literally 25-30 minutes of the film, as you begin to notice that a serious action movie turns into a funny fantasy fairy tale for children. Humor begins to transcend all boundaries (a small transformer robot). At the end of the film, the scenes with the fights of the Transformers begin to get boring. It's very corny. Actors are acting like hell. The score is 3 because I liked the beginning of the movie.
As if you have noticed in recent times, everything fantastic happens in America, and not anywhere there, in China, Italy.
Probably because of the money... 150 million killed by Steven Spielberg, did not fail because he is a master of his genre. Even if the movie isn't interesting, it justifies the budget. I remember his movie Alien with Drew Barrymore et al. He can’t beat that movie. But if he had added even more effort, the film would have been O La La.
All 2 hours were literally full of special effects. I know that most of the 150 was spent on special effects. Well, I'll say for good reason. Michael Bay literally made, from some cartoon story - a clean, classic action movie about a robot.
There’s probably no one else who hasn’t seen this movie! It was the most anticipated film of the summer!

We haven't seen these robots yet It was a miracle to see this creation today. In general, the opinion is ambiguous, but close to what did not particularly impress me. This is not what I was hoping for. The film is very childish, compared to the previous creations of Bey. Most importantly, transformers are children’s. No, of course, they look super, not childish, but behave very differently. All these jokes about their secretiveness are so strained that through force you try to squeeze a smile. I didn't understand the plot at all. Was he there? Absolute banalism and no originality. Except the robots themselves. So he went out and tried to enjoy it on the screen. And we have to give credit: it amazes, impressive, joyful. But... in the end it is so terribly annoying that it becomes boring and already think when Optimus Prime loves this ugly Megatron and everyone will disperse in peace. Robots are great. Almost all of the “good” were successful. Optimus above all. I didn’t like the bad ones, though. It's pretty gothic. One view. Only the policeman was cool. In terms of the plot, I was struck by this narrative of events: from the very beginning we are immersed in the midst of events, they say that something kills everyone and steals secret data. And then suddenly switch to the guy who lives his life and so on. First, stress, then, they say, relax. I didn't like it terribly. You can't concentrate too much. About the actors. LaBeouf is not well suited for such a role. I should've brought a guy in. Or sweeter, charismatic. Although, it is unclear who he plays here: a total loser, at the end of getting everything, saving everyone or a simple guy? If the film was more serious, then somehow I ask Hartnett, but the years are not the right for the role. Or a Sean William Scott, I don't know. Megan Fox. Who prophesied her fame as a super-beautiful actress? Don't let me near you. Such a static actress, who can only show off and stupidly cute smile in front of the camera I have never seen. Acting talent is zero. Well, I didn't believe it when she tried to play. “Have you ever sacrificed yourself or something important?”, “You shoot and I drive.” Well, she can pose, there's something. But it's not in the movies. And the cover of a magazine. Well, her agent made a joke about a zero-size bra, sort of. Although I prefer brunettes and I don’t like blondes, Rachel Taylor seems to have done a better job. But it's not too bright. Josh Duhamel is a typical warrior, of which there are enough in every such film. That's why it's a solid four. I was pleased, albeit a small role, the appearance of Ameri Nolasco, the hero of Prison Escape. He rated the film “you can watch it.” This is my opinion and I will finish. 6 out of 10 Original
When the film started, it seemed like a very serious movie. Especially when this helicopter began to destroy everything, and the scene in the desert!
But then, when the exciting events that took place on the screen at the beginning of the film were replaced by others, everything immediately became clear. The guy is in love with a girl... He was accidentally hit by an old transformer machine. The film gradually became not a serious fantasy action movie, but something else, more like a romantic-fantastic comedy.
The humor in the film is exclusively American, although there were funny moments. When Sam's mother said, "You're feeding the snake," the room exploded, but the parents who brought the young children to the movie were a little embarrassed. And when Sam's father looked out the window and the Transformers hid, that's when it was really funny.
And then the events were completely idiotic. More childish.
But the ending, where the robots-transformers beat each other's faces - it's something! I have never seen such computer graphics and special effects in any film. Everything is so qualitatively drawn, every movement of mechanical giants, every blow. It is impossible to convey in words... You have to see it for yourself.
Overall, the film left a good impression! It is a must see (for those who have not seen it)
- Michael Bay is a very steering man! It is with great pleasure that I put him on my list of favorite directors! Although I already half enrolled him there after the movie Bad Boys 2.
- Shia LaBeouf (don't scold if you wrote it wrong) is a steering man! It is with great pleasure to enroll him in the list of my favorite actors!
- Megan Fox is not a steering man, much less a man! Pretty girl. I can’t say that her acting struck me to the core, but at least she didn’t piss off the whole movie, like Eva Mandes in Ghost Rider.
- Josh Duhamel's a straight man, but not really. Played Captain Lenox. Impressive.
- I cried several times because it was very sad. The rest of the time I laughed almost without stopping. I think there were more jokes than Pirates of the Caribbean. Thought... Who cares...
- Special effects are just on the verge of fantasy. I really liked how Autobots and Decepticons transformed into different things and back again.

A cartoon of my childhood, a real movie! Watching action movies based on other cartoons, various film adaptations, I was endlessly waiting for the moment when I heard “The most anticipated film of the summer – Transformers”. I was afraid to be disappointed.
But no- No disappointment - there is ecstasy from watching!!
First of all, the film was pleased that it IS, that this film was made! A chic cast was selected, people did a great job with special effects, in general, the visual picture turned out for all 100!
There is such a small detail as dialogue, which sounds probably too heroic, but it is an integral part of any film made on comics and we will not find fault with it, especially the film as a whole is 140 minutes of real fun!
I am so grateful to those who created this film!

“Transformers” can be called a pseudo-legend of summer rental. Honestly looking to the end, I realized that at 28 I no longer get into the target audience of the aforementioned, sorry for the expression, blockbuster.
Although on the other hand, the title is more than telling and the film is quite consistent with children's play fantasies. We have all seen these toys-transformers, which, turning into monsters, then into airplanes, then into tanks, then God knows what, create favorable plots for the flight of thought, but, unfortunately, at this very moment the thought is interrupted and the plot as such does not work. In other words, the focus failed.
The stupidity, languagelessness and flat jokes of “Transformers” can hardly be explained and it would be rather stupid to draw any analogies with Internet pranks, but even such shortcomings can be veiled with self-irony, which is very good for Bay.
Machines do not correspond to the primary sources absolutely. In fact, it is very disappointing that the whole project is originally a site for Product Placement, and obviously, what a car company, and treating it as a full-fledged movie, there is no point at all. This is more of a commercial than a movie. And the result should be the expectation of the creators: “Wow-Wow-Bah, I want such a car”, and in the end it is similar in its uniformity of vehicles to Bessonian taxis and carriers. This is the future of commercial cinema, only, in this case, you need to immediately at the bottom of the screen with a running line, write a price for every thing that falls into the frame and a link to the manufacturer's website, well, for completeness of information.

I watched Transformers a long time ago, but... even the cartoon was classy. I'm not talking about the movie. This is the most amazing film made according to the idea of the cartoon.
First, the perfect plot! But with humor, the film is lame, although not a comedy, but jokes should also be. In this film, the jokes were stupid, and so it is clear: Americans do not understand humor. Graphics and special effects: ideal! I can write a lot more, but I will say briefly - film class.

Transformers are a masterpiece of modern cinema. I have never seen so many special effects, so many action scenes in two and a half hours. All this, coupled with an interesting script and excellent acting, gave us the opportunity to enjoy this supermegafilm. With all due respect to Spider-Man, Optimus and his company won't be easy. No wonder Shia LaBeouf in an interview said that in Transformers there are more action scenes than in all three Spiders.
If you’ve watched it once, you’ll want to watch it two, three and four. This movie is really addictive. Finally:

P.S. At the end of the film, Optimus Prime, along with the director, clearly hint at the continuation. So we're waiting for a sequel.
