Michael Bay was born to make the Transformers.
Steven Spielberg.
The explosions, crashes, deformations and destructions of matter in Michael Bay’s films have always gone beyond Einstein’s and Newton’s equations. Bay has always shot out of spectacle for credibility, but it is not so implausible a pile of tossing cars, if the hand waved twenty-ton robot. Transformers needed drive, energy and style to gain memory stronger than plastic. In short, Spielberg did not miss the source.
As a child, I remember admiration, when a car for some 60-80 frames, became a huge robot. The technique of modern cinematography for the human imagination is a powerful amplifier. Hundreds of frames are spent on transformation, pencils are in the trash, today graphics are able to animate every detail, make it shine and sparkle. And it does not matter that technological progress does not apply to scenarios, trances cannot convincingly philosophize, so they are not drawn for this. Until we get to the sequels-triquels, and do not think about the rapid technological progress extending to script regression, like an infection inherited among the writers of this franchise.
Two mighty alien factions, the Autobots (gud) and the Decepticons (Ival), are fighting for a spark - a cubic thing that can restore the spherical thing Cybertron - the planet where the aliens were born, and which broke down due to the war on them. The last known hope for the Autobots to restore their home, which in the sequel will get a cousin in the triquel, and “revenge follen” and “darkness of the moon” are easily replaced by the prefix to StarWars 4. Transformers will lose their gloom by unearthing a shitty bunch of ways to restore an easy-to-repair planet, continually dumping each of them under silent production: another time. Which will lead Transformers to the notoriety of a raspberry gardener, and association with something loud, blunt, pretentious, second-rate, and B...Z category. But most of the time, Michael Bay’s quad sciences don’t imply a chic first part.

In the mid-nineties on domestic television for the first time would be shown an animated series about transformers. Where the good Autobots defended the Earth fighting evil and insidious Decepticons. Giant robots quickly gained popularity. On the shelves of stores appeared toy models of Optimus and Megatrons. Many children dreamed that they would be given such a robot for their birthday or new year. However, over time, the popularity of transformers almost disappeared. And by the beginning of the two-thousandth, giant robots had been forgotten. However, the Transformers were destined to remind themselves again in 2007 with the release of Michael Bay’s film “Transformers”.
In the film, a group of autobots arrive on Earth to find an ancient artifact called “Spark”. However, it is not only Optimus' comrades who hunt for this mysterious object. The insidious and cruel Megatron also intends to get this powerful artifact, because Iskra is the key to the enslavement of the universe. As a result, a great battle is unfolding on Earth between good and evil. And on who wins this battle depends the future of mankind.
The plot of the film is not original. In fact, we have an ordinary summer blockbuster with a simple simple story. However, despite this, the film will shudder with great interest and cause a sense of nostalgia.
The cast is not poorly selected, but because of the theme of the film, people remain in the shadow of transformers throughout the story. Only Megan Fox can stand out against the general gray background. And not because of the outstanding game, but because of his appearance.
But if people look rather inconspicuous, then Transformers, on the contrary, make a strong impression. The creators managed not only to show the power of these giants, but also to convey their emotions, which are so similar to human ones.
In terms of special effects, the film made a great contribution to world cinema. The transformation of transformers into all possible means of transportation (from cars to airplanes) is simply fascinating. The battle scenes look large and spectacular. In general, the visual picture looks above all praise.
Summing up, we can safely say that Transformers is a good blockbuster capable of attracting both fans of cartoons about giant robots from the nineties, and those who have never encountered this universe before. Good to see you!
A wonderful prequel to ambiguous and strange sequels
This is an amazing start to the series.
Good humor. A few unsuccessful gags are present, but in general everything is very tasty and funny. Humor on a completely different subject, but, of course, most of it is related directly to transformers. And perhaps the most memorable and beloved ridiculous situation is when, at the beginning of the film, the Autobots were hiding from their parents. It's a lovely scene.
Nice picture. I’m not an expert, but I like it as a spectator. Bright, stylish, sane computer graphics, which was very pleasing to the eye.
Music. Another big plus of the film, and soundtracks, and background screensavers. Organic, thematic. It fit perfectly into the picture and did not distract, and some of the well-known tracks used made it possible to postalgize and delight the hearing.
In terms of acting for me personally, no one really stood out, but in fairness it is worth noting that played at the level. You can see that they approached the matter seriously, trying to convey the emotions and experiences of their own character.
And, of course, action. Explosions, chases, fights, special effects - as always, Michael Bay has this good in bulk, and thank him for this, because sometimes it turns out that it is very pleasant to relax, watching high-quality action.

I’ve watched so many movies that I can imagine in advance what the next one will be and in what style it was shot, and what awaits me. I rarely make a mistake. That’s why I didn’t want to see this movie. In the end, I thought maybe I should give the film a chance and show me I was wrong about it. So many millions of dollars and people can’t be wrong.
In the end, the film was exactly what I expected to see.
Stupid, stupid film with a completely meaningless plot, clumsy decisions, stupid dialogue, terrible acting and meaningless, in principle.
Why do they make movies like that? The answer is only for the sake of effects and earnings. It makes no sense anymore.
The fact that such films bring up callous and devoid of emotions people, none of the creators and distributors of the film, apparently, not interested. This is not surprising given that the world is monetized. The main thing is money.
The pathetic monologues of Optimus Prime are frankly disgusting.
Robots in the form of film heroes. Don't know. Can they convey emotion? Humor, joy, compassion, longing? What's the point of cinema? Where's the idea? The technocratic nature of the film is frightening. I lack human emotions in him. Robots that behave like humans – what could be uglier and more flawed? A robot like a robot is normal. A robot that jokes looks too poor. It feels the same as when you look at people with disabilities. There is a sense of compassion. Nothing else.
The film also has some silly and meaningless scenes. I was particularly struck by the fact that in the middle of the fight a taxi rides and stops. Where was he going? What was he looking for in the middle of the battle? Clients? How can this be done?
How can you show that to children? They need to give examples of goodness and cultivate in them the capacity for compassion, to teach them humanity. And they are shown robots that only make some pathetic attempts to be like people and nothing more. Who's gonna grow up? Callous people who can only press the buttons of computers and are versed in technology. But will we be happy with our neighbors? Will our souls be satisfied with the kind of people and relationships that such people are capable of? I doubt it. I think this society is a nightmare.
I don’t understand technical solutions or concepts. A large cube that is assembled into a small cube. How is that possible? What are the principles for transforming these robots into machines? Why in them? Why Do Robots Talk to Each Other in Human Language? How did life appear on the planet of robots? I don’t have enough answers when I watch this movie.
It is possible that the audience does not have such questions, because everything on the screen changes quickly and shoots and makes noise and sorts out and gathers and all this is so cool and so impressive, but I do not touch, and the questions appear in my head, and the authors of the film do not give answers to them.
Anyway, this movie is gross. And even more disgusting is that it is high-budget, popular, with continuation and large box office gross.

Until a couple of years ago, the movie “Transormers” was the favorite film of all teenagers aged seven to fifteen years. And for good reason. “Transofrmers” is a spectacular, beautiful and exciting action movie, perhaps not shining with the genius of the script, but it contains a little unobtrusive humor and a lot of fascinating special effects, exciting fights, chases and shootouts, as well as good music – that is, all that Michael Bay knows and does.
Shia LaBeouf is a good actor and Megan Fox is a very beautiful girl. Together they look very organic in the frame, making us very sorry that Fox dropped out of the third part of the sequel.
And although the dialogue in “Transformers” is better to watch without sound, and the plot is not worth paying attention to, the advantages of the picture quite compensate for the disadvantages. And if you like large-scale, beautiful action films, then this film is definitely worth watching, especially for children.

Transformers. Before watching the film, this word was strongly associated with a distant childhood, when an animated series with these curious characters was on television. However, it was deposited in the subconscious under the name "Gobots" (as it turned out, they were the predecessors of transformers - Wikipedia, you work miracles!!!). And also with multi-colored toy racing cars, in several movements turned into robots. All the normal kids of the '90s played that. However, in my case, it was just about fussing with this toy, in no way related to the animated series.
Now “Transformers” are associated with an unrealized boring franchise, throwing a weighty coin on the scales, where there is a statement about the lack of ideas and disposability of modern blockbusters. Especially those that are characterized by the addition of "summer".
Being an antagonist of the film, built mainly on “action”, especially the kind that directly or indirectly leads to the pedigree of comics, and therefore not being a great connoisseur of it, I will refrain from a coherent story about the film “Transformers”, and will express a few thoughts thesis.
- So, Michael Bay. His wonderful "Pearl Harbor" for many years I considered perhaps the best film produced in the United States. However, I have not reviewed it for a long time, and now I will refrain from such an assertion. But one thing is for sure. I’m surprised how the same director could shoot such an emotionally rich picture as “P-X” and frankly plastic, screaming the lack of tolerable acting of “Transformers”.
- Mosaic and plasticity. They tried to cram a bunch of genres into a long film work, obviously, in order to attract the maximum possible audience. From the first minutes, the head begins to go around from the American paratroopers, who are sharply replaced by blaring schoolchildren, and those in turn are young computer geniuses. As a result, no genre is disclosed. There are a lot of stamps and too typical moves. This is especially true in the youth comedy segment. A loser guy is hopelessly in love with the first beauty who meets the coolest dude in school. We’ve seen it a thousand times before, haven’t we?
- Timekeeping. Two hours of action plus twenty minutes of subtitles at the end begin to excite the unprepared viewer.
- The dominant and all-consuming action. This refers to the second half of the film, consisting exclusively of fights of giant aliens-transformers and the pursuit of the bad for the good. The number of dialogues is drastically reduced. Action is good. Like sauce or spices to a tasty dish, it adds zest to the film. But imagine being forced to eat one mayonnaise without dumplings. Do you have a bowl? “Transformers” belong to the category, alas, common in recent years, where action plays a dominant role over semantic content and plot development. As a result, if the heroes of the first half of the film, Sam and Mikaela, at least a little empathize, then the vicissitudes of the fight between good and bad robots do not care. Aside from a few general phrases, schematically explaining why some are bad and others are nothing like these guys - no backstory, no drama, no instructive collision. Here's Optimus Prime, the top good Transformer, saying he's willing to die to save the universe. Ready? Well, good afternoon, no pity at all. For who are you, Mr. Red Truck?
- The notorious acting. I understand that this film is foolish to expect dramatic depth and strong acting. That's the wrong count. But still, if not one of the characters does not force yourself to empathize at least a little bit, it probably says something. Shia LaBeouf still looks good in the first part. In the future, it will become so “wooden” and emotionless that nothing but irritation will cause. Megan Fox, of course, beautiful to madness, but the actress, alas, not so.
- Humor. There's a lot of him here. But nothing stays in your head for long. You can smile. To laugh in delight - it will not work. And there were precedents when only good humor and saved for me viewing films in the genre of “action”.
- Why is that 6? Well, because it's kind of interesting, but it's not exciting anywhere. Well, entertainment as the main need of mankind after bread has not been canceled.

Transformers is one of the most controversial franchises in cinema. It is treated without halftones: either hate or adore. I am not an ardent fan of this trilogy, so, on the example of the first part, I will try to evaluate this film as objectively as possible.
In 2007, I was expecting a new disaster movie from Transformers, a la War of the Worlds or Independence Day, even though I knew the film was based on toys from a well-known company. But the plot construction initially cut off the oxygen of any disaster or apocalypse. The appearance of “good” robots before the appearance of “bad” is not the best directorial decision. Thus, it turns out that humanity was initially under protection, introduced a kind of code of immortality, and victory over the “bad” is only a matter of time. And therefore to achieve the effect of the inevitability of disaster and the resulting oppressive impression Michael Bay completely failed.
And in general, the Decepticons, and especially their leader, are given too little time, their motivation is not fully disclosed. You might argue that we’ll see it in the next series, but we didn’t know that at the time. Although it is worth noting that the charisma of the main villain is excellent, and this can smooth out all other shortcomings.
"Transformers" is rightly criticized for being graphically based, so it lacks soul. Yes, the lines of the main characters-people are not that poorly spelled out, but are not written seriously. Ridiculous dialogue, flat jokes - all this causes incredible irritation, especially at first. Around each dialogue hovers a halo of humor, banter and some psychological techniques. Therefore, when the director does not have enough imagination to put relationships between people, it is better to pour out your talent with graphics.
Thanks to the graphics, the design of robots and their transformations into cars, tanks, airplanes and back into robots, Transformers, despite their different attitudes, have become a phenomenon in world cinema. There were no such films before or after.
But living people remain only a screen of the picture, which does not let you forget that the film takes place on Earth and among people, and not in the depths of space. Known love Bay to girls from the covers of glossy magazines, that’s just such a cover for the film and is Megan Fox. Of course, everything is learned by comparison, and compared to the one that will replace her in the third film, Fox still plays something. And Shia LaBeouf with his boneless language especially at the beginning is without comment. When he opens his mouth, he wants to turn off the sound. Some people may like it, but not me. At the end, when the time comes for graphics, they somehow play out and begin to heroize, but in general, the impression of their game is weak.
The first film of the entire trilogy is perhaps the weakest, but its mission is that it began one of the most recognizable franchises in film history, and that has not ended to this day. Michael Bay, as a director, is not on the first roles, but the staging of battle scenes, scenes of chases, shootings, city crashes and other beautiful scenes using computer graphics, here he can not deny. For the sake of graphics, you need to watch this film and its sequels. Otherwise, it does not carry any semantic and global load.
In the near future, the fourth part of the Transformers franchise is coming out, which I have huge doubts. After reviewing the first Transformers, I came to the conclusion that it really was a great start for the franchise.
Earth becomes the epicenter of the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons, but unfortunately for earthlings this will not be able to bypass them, and they will have to take part in this, otherwise the consequences can not be global, but catastrophic. But people will find their heroes for this war.
If you remember the second and third part, then undoubtedly just the plot makes the first transfomers the best of the franchise, As well as in general for Michael Bay, where the simplicity of the plot and spectacular explosions are undoubtedly his stronghold, if you twist further, you can simply not slap to the end. The storyline is simple and smoothly developing in the logical chain of the film, brings it to its logical end.
In the film there are acquaintances with the Autobots - they are essentially quite ordinary, but each is different from each other, but their coherence and common purpose - makes them a team where each has its own role.
As for the cast, then Megan Fox - here perhaps in all its glory, and do not want to pay attention to her performance even, so she is beautiful, and in the film her audacity is on hand. Shya LaBeouf - played Sam very well, in places amusing, sometimes heroic, sometimes romantic. He combined a little bit of everything. Josh Disamel — very much liked in the film, what should be in the soldier, heroism and patriotism in the first place, but for the purpose of caring for the family.
Shooting the film, just great, the action in the film is new to the genre, beautiful fights, great crashes, beautiful locations for what is happening, what else does such a film need?
Despite all the advantages of the film, there are of course its drawbacks, such as pathetic dialogues and sometimes not necessary, well, there is too much humor. But at the same time, Transformers has all the qualities of a great blockbuster, great specials and a good burn, with great actors.
I think I’m not mistaken if I say that for every adult, childhood memories are the most significant, in childhood, chocolate is tastier, ice cream is sweeter, and in general, you could sleep during the day. For most of those who grew up like me in the 90s, one of the most vivid memories was the cartoon Transformers. Robots, good and evil, Autobots and Decepticons, Optimus Prime and Megatron, Good and Evil, Yin and Yang, and so on. As the years passed, cartoons stopped showing, Transformers was replaced by all sorts of sex, drugs, rock and roll Pokémon, fantasy, institute, but the feelings brought up in deep childhood remained, and when the film Transformers came out in 2007, crowds filled theaters to watch Optimus Prime turn into a truck. Critics smashed the film, and we... and we went to get a ticket for the re-session.
I love this movie, but I know it’s a strange love. Because, seriously, you can call the pluses of the movie. The special effects are yes, it’s great. Every raccoon killed spent on a movie went into action, very beautiful, just wildly beautiful. Only Hollywood can do that, and that’s true. That's not bad. The acting is not bad, at least Shia LaBeouf and John Turturro. Megan Fox is fine too, but she's a slightly different take, heh heh heh. That's all it is.
It's just a checkmark. Just like a kid would think of, there's a city, there's autobots and despeticons, and they're wetting, no, no, wetting each other, blowing the city apart. A shocking dose of American jingoism (although, considering that director Michael Bay ... well, at least without Lev Andropov did) also begins to bite by the middle of the film. From an artistic point of view, the film is nothing. Dumbly beautiful one-and-a-half-hour video on the theme of the fight of one robot with another.
Why is the review green and the rating high? First, Transformers is a great entertaining movie, a pure fan. And secondly, and in general in the main, “Transformers” is a film that plays on the memories of childhood, shamelessly and with one hundred percent hit. The battle of Prime with Megatron, and the Megatron stove was not turned into an automaton as in a cartoon, but into a whole starship - this is the dream of a whole generation of boys around the world. It is for the opportunity to fall into childhood, for a dream fulfilled - 9 out of 10.
Transformers. These robots-like creatures, only they are alive, have come to our planet to choose someone who can help them fight back. In this film, they chose Sam as the guide (Shia LaBeouf), a teenager who has a bad reputation at school and tries to please a girl.
The actors in the film are perfectly selected, especially approach their roles Shya LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, in addition, their game I also really liked. I also want to highlight John Turturro, who also liked his performance.
Now about the equally important part, which is the plot . Sam doesn’t know about the aliens at first, and when he and his father go to buy him a car, they buy one of the Transformers. I especially liked the storyline on the military base, where the military learned that they had been killed on their plane and their system was hacked in minutes, which is absolutely impossible. So thank you Michael Bay!
The special effects in the film are amazing! All the chases look beautiful and believable, as well as very exciting and intense. All the explosions in the film look good, which is also a big plus.
The writers did a good job of writing dialogue and lines in the film. Most of them are funny. I want to give you a couple of examples.
I liked the atmosphere in the film very much, and the film is very spectacular. The picture is good too, thank you to the cameraman. This film was not without cool 3D effects, of course.
As a result, Transformers is a very spectacular film, with good actors, amazing special effects, cool 3D effects, and a masterpiece plot.
I will watch this movie again and I recommend it to you!

The plot turned out to be quite original, but what I saw on the screen often led to some questions. A lot of blunders and flaws do not give me a high rating for this film. And to be honest, everything that is happening looks very playful, I think the ideal viewer for this movie, this viewer is not older than 13 years.
So, as far as acting is concerned. Shia LaBeouf looks very good, but there is no authority in it of the main character of the film. A slim student who is not taken seriously by anyone in school is laughed at and despised, and suddenly, as in a mud-to-princes scenario, he saves the world. What is this nonsense? This is a part of the film that is very naive. I don’t like Megan Fox at all. The pompous chicken, who was always with the cool guys in the cool cars, suddenly fell for the loser described above. Again, some fables are trying to push us. In her place you can put any other glamorous actress with good shapes, and the film will not lose anything from this. In fact, you can’t call her attempts to play in this film a game. After all, she can not convey any feelings, there are no emotions on her face that would be at least a little like the real ones.
The authors did a great job with the picture of the film. It turned out very spectacular, the special effects are just on top. But the spectator will not be fed up with special effects alone, yet it was worth coming up with a more interesting and intriguing plot. After all, you will agree, the predictability of “Transformers” is simply off the scale.
As for the technical side of the film, there are 80 percent of all blunders. I was very surprised by the fact that these iron men, in different frames of different sizes, relative to nearby objects. Well, for example, Bumblebee (a robot that was rebuilt in a Chevrolet Camaro) in the episode when all the transformers get together for the first time, in some alleyway, this robot seems quite high, certainly in a two-story house, however, when the Autobots hide near the house of the main character Sam from his parents, if you look closer, this Bumblebee against the background of a two-story house does not seem very big. Such examples can be given a huge number, which indicates only one, the proportions of autobots varying from frame to frame.
I couldn’t help but focus on another technical question: how can such large robots assemble into small cars? Where do they put all the details that you can see when they're not cars yet? No one is going to answer that question, but then why write this nonsense and call it Transformers? This is no longer the transformation we know of. Usually, if an object from one state is transformed into another, then new details do not appear on it, which were not in the previous state, just as then, with the reverse transformation, these details do not disappear anywhere. Directors are trying to convince us otherwise. But then these robots should be called by another name, for example, Magic Robots. After all, what they do in the “transformation” is nothing but magic.
Well, the last joint of the technical genre. Chevrolet Camaro on average weighs just under 1900 kg. But when this machine turns into a robot, the rumble of its steps is not comparable to the above figure, its weight increases by at least 80 tons. So the question is, where does that weight come from? Apparently out of thin air. Also puzzling is the fact that the robots talk loud enough, and when they try to make sure that Sam’s parents do not notice them near their house, the Autobots talk to each other, but no one hears them in the house anyway.
Also in this creation there are semantic errors. Of course, strangely enough, but all robots and magical objects fall on the territory of America. Okay, let's say it's just an accident. But the actions that are unfolding present us as a global threat, not a country. In this case, a meeting of the presidents of all countries should be convened, at which they would all decide together how to act. But I haven't seen anything like it. America again without asking anyone, goes on completely rash actions. It does not matter that this threat from space has not yet been studied, the Americans do not care about it and they immediately raise aircraft in the air. It's kind of funny. If it were true, all these heroes would hide in bunkers and wait for Russia to figure it out.
At some point, evil robots that want to take over our planet shut down satellites and all communications, meaning no one can contact anyone. And after that, we are not shown that the satellites miraculously worked again, but the heroes can already freely talk on the radio, transmitting information or requesting support from the air.
And finally, another blunder from the directors. Good autobots that help humans have learned human language over the Internet and can now communicate with ordinary people. However, when the chief autobot at the end of the film sends a message to his own kind to other planets to come and help here on Earth, he speaks these words in human language. The question is, who will understand? After all, the other autobots do not know this language, they have not been on Earth, and therefore they did not learn anything from any Internet. It was a very bad idea.
The crumpled ending also disappointed. She did not put everything in its place, probably you should immediately start watching the second part, so as not to forget what was in the first, and perhaps the second part will answer some questions. I also didn't like the fact that robots have feelings, or at least that's what they're trying to show us. Why? I don't understand. There are still a lot of mistakes, I do not think it is worth listing them all, but anyone who watched the film carefully, and delved into the topic, he will understand me.
In general, everything says that this film is nothing more than a children's fairy tale, and it is not worth waiting for some ingenious plot twists or anything else from it, because the film, though it has an original plot, but still it is banal. I hope that in the second part, the directors will try to correct all the mistakes and make the film not so childish, so far the beginning of the series has not impressed me.
In this film, aliens are unusual. Aliens are usually little green bald men. Here they are giant transformer robots. Aliens usually come to Earth to conquer it. They came to Earth to get the spark. And neither autobots nor despticons are going to war with the Earth, since they have enough wars among themselves.
I was impressed that Sam became friends with Bumblebee. Agree, infrequently a simple guy makes friends with an alien robot transforming into a car.
I was also impressed by how Optimus talks about people. They say that they are a young race, they have a lot to learn, but with them everything is not as simple as it seems at first glance.

To be honest, I am am amused by the fact that more and more people are trying to make fun of Michael Bay's film 'Transformers'. Everyone wants to hint at the simplicity of the script, the bad performance of the actors, the numerous advertisements in the middle of the film and much more. However, I think everyone started to forget what a great job the director and the crew did. This is not just a second-rate action movie with a rich graphics and a simple plot. The director had a really difficult task. It was to film the battles of huge combat robots in the middle of the city among crowds of people. But let's go in order.
Think back to 2007. When I saw the first trailers and screenshots 'Transformers', I was shocked. More recently in 'Spider-Man 3', we were shown a delightful special effects, which has not yet been in more than one film. Despite the fact that the film Sam Raimi turned out softly stuffed with special effects and contained nothing but them, the film came a lot of people. And literally after that movie, I saw the trailer for the Michael Bay movie. There were no such special effects in any film. It was a real breakthrough then. This is why the film can be considered a masterpiece. I used to think that if a movie like this was made, the robots in it would resemble the transformers from various animes about them. In fact, in the film, the robots themselves and the transformation are realized much more spectacularly than in any anime.
Now let me explain why I disagree with people who think there is no script in the film. Actually, the script in the film is quite weighty. It's there, and it's worked out well enough for such an action movie. Yes, there are no complex offshoots, plot twists, other events. But it's not necessary here. This is not a complex psychological drama, but an action movie about alien robots. By the way, for comparison, we can recall the film by Sam Raimi & #39; Spider-Man 3' in which there is certainly no plot. In 'Transformers' we feel the sequence of the plot. In Raimi's movie, we don't feel that, there are bad guys and good guys and there's a fight between them. There are things that happen in the movie, though. I want to say that this film is not a stupid action, as many people used to think, but a well-thought-out good-quality film.
I’ve heard a lot of criticism of the actors, saying Shia LaBeouf is overplaying, and Megan Fox is here only to attract a male audience. I don't know why I'm so excited about LaBeouf. In my opinion, he showed his panic and fear very well. When you watch a movie, probably thanks to this actor and believe in what is happening, you immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the film. Shia LaBeouf conveys his panic, stress and surprise to the viewer, which is why the viewer receives something similar. This actor I remember from the film 'Constantine' in which he already acted very well. About Megan Fox... Of course, it was important for the director to attract viewers to the cinema, but I would not say that Megan Fox appeared in the film for the sake of a tick. It was not bad enough in the movie.
A word about the music in the movie. The music in the film is made by masters of their craft. Here we hear Linkin Park, Disturbed, The Used and many other great artists.

What if the Earth is attacked by giant robots that hate people? But robots can be positive. With their help, the chances of saving our planet increase. But who will win this large-scale confrontation is unknown.
The story told by the robot at the beginning of the film gives him an interesting plot plot, which will not be so original, but quite fascinating insofar as it is necessary for a blockbuster. In order not to spend a lot of time rocking, Michael Bay almost immediately gives us an idea of what these transformers are and what power they have. Therefore, you can catch yourself thinking that if at the beginning of the film we were shown an action with the participation of a transformer and special forces in almost all its glory, then further along the course of the film we will be given the opportunity to enjoy even more spectacular scenes. And this pleasant thought is not false, but on the contrary is a truth that cannot be refuted. And it is no coincidence that there is a lot of spectacle in Transformers. It's impossible to expect anything else from Bay. He is true to his style in every film. However, in this tape and dialogue, and the action is approximately equally, which has a very positive effect on the impression of viewing. Why did I immediately start talking about the spectacle?Yes, because in this picture it is the very main support on which the film rests.
In the course of viewing, you can enjoy not only first-class action, but also good humorous fragments, which, well, can not but lift the mood. In general, it is very cool when a director can masterfully fit many of its components into a film. He can fit so that all together they look organic and line up in a single symphony, which is simply impossible to imagine without any of these components. The film itself, although it seems serious because of its explosions, destruction, shootings, but it looks very easy. Like you already know how it's gonna end. The actions of the characters give you confidence that everything will be fine. That they will cope with all the tasks assigned to them.
I like the fact that there are many characters in the film. That they are all brought together to solve a common cause - the salvation of mankind from the Decepticons. As for the Autobots, they all look like memorable robots whose goal is to find an energy cube. Sam and his new girlfriend Mikaela help them with this. By the way, I really liked the way Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox played their roles. And the other actors did their best too. All of them were able to create such characters that after watching remain in memory.
I didn’t like the fact that sometimes it doesn’t look very interesting in the course of watching the movie, and that sometimes during the battles of robots it is not very clear what is happening on the screen. The rest of the movie is good.
“Transformers” is a rather spectacular blockbuster with memorable characters and good humor. This movie is definitely worth watching.
I chose to watch Transformers spontaneously. Of course, this film can be considered top. And he's not deprived of attention. Like many people, I’ve heard of it since it came out. But I decided to watch it now. Well, at least because I'm not a fan of these movies. I like thrillers more. “Martyrs” or “Lake of Paradise.” A "Transformers"... well, just how to dispel leisure. But I don't shy away from movies like that. They are suitable for viewers of different nature. I think I'm right about that.
Well, I thought that we could tell a movie about designers Lego. But as time passed, my skepticism diminished. And he ordered a long life as soon as the 7 minutes of the film went. That was the first time I saw a transformer in the frame. He was a helicopter. Before I saw this picture, I was wondering: How will the idea of introducing such capacious designs on the screen be presented? What kind of story will they make up? It was thought that this would be associated with the “Iron Man”, they say, the corporation will create modern weapons, and this weapon will be sent to the conditional “Terminators” and “Matrix”, they say, the basis will be taken enslavement and further destruction of humanity as a disturbing species.
However, I was glad that such rusted ideas went to the long drawer of the negligent screenwriter’s desk, and we were given... oh, what a sin to hide... SHOW!And the film became not as tight as “Cobra Throws”, but much easier, in the spirit of viewing comparable to “Thor”.
Turns out the INPs are alien machinis. Then watch and enjoy yourself. I don't need to reveal the secrets of the plot here. He (the plot) may seem familiar (even so many films exist today), but this is no less attractive.
The film itself can be called both childish and naive, attributed to the genre of comics, but we will still follow with interest all this action on the screen, because the theme is inexhaustible, giants can be “cooked” whatever you want, and let the plot only has time to fly out from under the pen of the writer. There are three parts and there will be a fourth. I'll meet them soon, too.
The young actors are just great. Shya LaBeouf and Megan Fox.
Overall, I was pleased with the viewing. I'm not likely to be a fan of this picture. Still, I think it's already designed for viewers for the next generation after my generation. But the film is worth watching all its sequels.
The Autobots and the Decepticons are two races of robots that have fought each other since ancient times. They come to Earth for their lost artifact “Spark”. The only map where to look for the artifact are the glasses of the grandfather of an ordinary guy Sam, who has to intervene in the conflict of warring robots.
"Transformers" is a famous toy, and now it's a Michael Bay movie that everyone associates with destruction and explosions. Although the first part is replete with a good plot, though, which ends corny. We don’t hear much about the race of giant robots, but that’s enough to watch the movie. The main character Sam, played by Shia LaBeouf, is a schoolboy who is bought a Camaro car, and she turns out to be a robot. Shia didn't play very badly, but there were a lot of problems with his panic, which caused him to laugh at the beginning and at the end of the fits of irritation. His relationship with Mikaela is so strained and looks just like a tick to show that there is a beautiful girl in the film performed by Megan Fox. But of the secondary characters, it is worth noting Josh Duhamel and John Turturro. The first featured a well-played soldier, and the second showed a slightly dorky secret department chief. The robots in the film are poorly written. The whole film convinces us and singles out Bambel B, but then we are told that the main Optimus Prime, without showing him as some memorable character. In the film, I didn’t like the constant comments of some of the characters that caused negative emotions throughout the film. The humor in the film is not bad, but a lot of jokes are not remembered. The action in the film turned out to be “hurrah”. The first hour of the film shows the action a little closed, not showing the Transformers in all its glory. But after arriving in the city, the real fight begins. Buildings, glass and many robots explode. There is a clever idea in the film and it sounds like: you need to make sacrifices to win. But the thought of the film is not noticed against the background of explosions and destruction and looks a little unnecessary. The music includes Linkin Park's "What I've Done." The song turned out well and warmed up the ending of the film.
Verdict: the first part looks good and combines a good story and a beautiful action.

- I bought a car and it turned out to be a robot. Who knew?! .
A series of films "Transformers" stuck in my soul from the very first viewing. The story of a simple boy Sam Whitwicky will please everyone, I am more than sure of this. In general, it meets expectations.
In the plot, we get acquainted with the Whitwicky family, namely Sam, who will be thanked more than once for saving the planet, with the absolutely unbalanced mother Judy and with Sam's father Ronald, who, like Judy, is a lover of wonderful lawns and good old grandmother's carpets.
The plot develops really brightly, saturated. This way you won’t have time to get bored. All thanks to the magnificent Michael Bay.
The main characters here, of course, are the "autobots" who bravely fight with "decepticons" on our miserable planet. But in addition to the iron creatures, the story is directly intertwined with Sam, his girlfriend Mikaela and his whole family.
Sam Whitwicky was played by Shia LaBeouf. I met this actor, or rather learned that he is so talented only when watching Transformers. His role is too memorable. It seems nothing new, but still Shaia immediately gets into the list of favorite celebrities. I can say that his acting is a bit unusual, special. A little nervous hero with bright emotions and funny humor. So and only so now I present LaBeoufa. And you know? I really like it!
Sam's girlfriend was played by Megan Fox. This gave impetus to the development of her further career. I won’t say that she was particularly interested in me, but she coped with her role.
A special place in this series gives Whitwicks seniors! Parents performed by Kevin Dunna and Julie White were incomparable! I’ve been playing with them throughout the film.
And, of course, I can’t help but mention the beautiful special effects! Moments of transformation were thought out to the smallest detail. I think this is the movie that is Oscar-worthy, at least for that reason.
I also don’t want to leave the car behind. My favorite robots! Optimus Prime, savior of the planet, Bumblebee, who became Sam's best friend, cute twins, as well as others. All these characters are remembered from the first minute. More than once I want to review not only the first part, but all three films.
I am gratefulMichael Bay for making the filmTransformers!
I hope that those who have not seen this film will realize how much they missed!

For centuries there was a war between two opposing races of alien robots - the Autobots and the Decepticons, the war of powerful nations and leaders Optimus Prime and Megatron and the stakes in this battle were extremely high. Meanwhile, an ordinary American teenager Sam Whittwicky lives on Earth, whose life, until then quite banal, will soon change greatly and the fate of all Humanity will depend on him.
The 2007 film Transformers is certainly one of those blockbuster movies that, even with a lot of effort, is hard to forget. Not being a fan of the original animated series, not reading comics and not playing Hasbro toys, I nevertheless could not deny myself the pleasure of appreciating one of the brightest fantastic action films of the current century, because the director Michael Bay, who since the mid-90s has established himself as the best blockbuster director, did not disappoint me a priori, striking me, however, not only with a glaring scale, put his hands on the creation of this bright high-budget spectacle. Screenwriters Roberto Orsi and Alex Kurtzman vividly and interestingly adapted the series to the givens of cinema, saturating the plot with unusual twists, and a huge number of charismatic and memorable characters, and high-quality, without any notes of vulgarity humor, which makes the film easy to perceive.
For Shia LaBeouf, the role of Sam Whittwicky was a breakthrough in Hollywood, revealing to the world another truly talented and charismatic actor, because the character he played in the film causes sympathy immediately. She became famous thanks to the film and Megan Fox, whose character, wildly sexy Michaela, graced the film. It is also impossible not to mention the characters brilliantly performed by John Voight, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel and Kevin Dunn with Julie White.
Large-scale camera work by Mitchell Amundsen and impressive visual effects, extreme saturation with action made this picture a truly unforgettable attraction for the audience.
The necessary atmosphere in the tape perfectly created the musical accompaniment from composer Steve Jablonsky and a powerful soundtrack from Linkin Park, which gave the picture even more drive and dynamics.
To all fans of the original Transformers stories, all fans of quality fiction and action, I recommend this impressive film and I think you will not be disappointed.

Get off Grandma's carpet! She hates it when someone walks on the carpet, especially the cops!
I, like any other child, had a crush on Transformers. I had a large collection of stickers with these robots, I ran around the yard in a T-shirt with Optimus Prime and other characters in the American-Japanese series Transformers, and tried not to miss a single episode, because with this cartoon I felt stronger and cooler. When I began to get seriously interested in cinema, somewhere in my mind already imagined in what form Hollywood would give us this cartoon on the big screen. The film adaptation of transformers was taken up by a man who knows how to make something spectacular out of the film - this is Michael Bay, a guy who loves to stuff the movie with high-quality special effects. Michael Baye is not bad, I believe that the disaster film “Armageddon” the best that he made in his career.
So in 2007, the American fantastic action movie "Transformers" was released on the screens by director Michael Bay. It is a sin not to go to the cinema, because the film is saturated with continuous dynamics, good actors play here, and of course old, good friends - autobots, with whom you had to go to hello only on the big screen. I will not say that I completely liked the film, it was interesting, in places with humor, the visual effects are clear that were flawless, in such a film otherwise could not be, but something the film did not catch and even a little disappointed. The reason is not yet known to me, but it primarily concerns the plot, it would be too predictable and not interesting enough to develop.
The main roles were performed by Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox, looked good together, but I am neutral towards them, and in general against the background of all these cool and spectacular fights between the Autobots and the Decepticons, I almost never saw anyone else. About the plot laziness to tell something, I will say in a nutshell; there is good and there is evil, there is a beauty and a loser who turns into a hero, everything is very banal and by standard. I think Michael Bay was happy with his film, because the directing is at the highest level. Perhaps the most important task of Michael Bay was to make the film as spectacular as possible. To sum up, "Transformers" is a very bright, dynamic, sometimes exciting movie that brings more pleasure if you watch it on the big screen. I was in the theater, and that’s probably why my rating is more or less high, although the truth is, I expected more from the film.
"Judging by the composition of pheromones, you want to copulate with this female."
“It is not the driver who chooses the car, but the driver's car. ?
I can’t remember the first time I saw Transformers, but I remember watching the second one first and then the first one. Robots are not my subject, so I refused to watch them at first. It just happened: they showed on TV in the summer when there was nothing else to watch. I guess that's fate, because I've literally started to crave him. You may be wondering why... I’ll tell you!
I will not focus on the plot, everything is clear there and so, so I will immediately move on to ... the magnificent cast, Michael Bay tried very hard:
Shia LaBeouf (Sam Whitwicky) is a terribly charming, funny guy. You did your part perfectly. It is a pleasure to watch such actors. And they picked up his voice, as if it was not a dub, but his real one. It's beautiful!
- Why are you so wet and dirty?
- I'm a teenager, that's okay.
Megan Fox (Michaela) is also a pretty good actress. I wouldn’t replace it with another... He and Sam look great together.
Also very pleased with the witty jokes of Agent Simmons (John Turturro), Glen (Anthony Anderson) and Sam's parents: Ron (Kevin Dunn) and Judy (Julie White).
- Sir, I beg you very politely, get off me. (I still laugh when I hear that phrase).
I am also amazed at the accuracy of the transformations of robots into cars and back. Modern technology is nothing! Now I'm just obsessed with Chevrolet Camaro! I want a car like that, too. Although where is there... on our terrible roads and in traffic jams only to drive Camaro... well, yes, well... well, well, dream... I moved a little away from the topic, continue!
I also really liked duplicate: the votes were just perfect! For me, dubbing is of great importance: if the voices do not fit the characters, then the whole film is screwed up ... and I no longer watch it. There is nothing to complain about!
Naturally, the film did not do without sparkling humor. Some jokes literally get stuck in your head! Who's watching will understand. I love humor in action movies!
I can’t help but say the same about the music of Steve Jablonski, one of my favorite composers! Epic, just fits into the action. I listen to it separately and write under it my "story".
It’s a great movie, I personally like it. I’ve seen it many times, I’m not tired yet! I just love such spectacular action films! I bow to the wonderful director Michael Bay, thank you for the film, which later became one of my favorites! And the rest of it, of course, I watched, but more about that later. In the meantime, based on all of the above, I put the highest estimate:
How zombified is the population of the planet Earth that goes to the movies to see such films. Here are collected together hundreds of film stamps, idiotic PR is not the best car “Chevrole Camaro”, hulking cranberries to the Arabs and, of course, “soap”.
The plot is developing fantastically quickly, there is very little time to reveal the characters, and the Transformers are... an alien race of robotic machines?
Alien race of robot cars aka autobots/desepticons
The mere mention of this is the ravings of a shiva mare! Robot aliens, as an independent race. Where are their creators? What happened to them? ... What an idiot! It's one of the most idiotic fantasy franchises I've ever seen. Naive viewers (of which the overwhelming majority were children and teenagers) were hypnotized by the chic special effects and the figure of Megan Fox (What is so attractive about her?). In general, I saw a classic Hollywood action movie with shots, special effects, idiotic jokes and talentless acting!

Transformers are dreams that burst into my reality. As soon as it was reported that ' Cartoon and Childhood Toys' Now Fast forward to the movies, for me it was explosive news. It was not so much the process of film adaptation as the expectation to see this film.
My expectations were met. Thanks to Michael Bay, the master of special effects and large-scale films, the film became a blockbuster, surprisingly bright and interesting in the plot. In addition to heroes from space alloy, there are people in this film who lived on Earth and did not expect their planet to become a battlefield.
One of those people was Sam (Shya LaBeouf). An ordinary young man who didn’t get into trouble or adventure. But after Michaela decides to get in his car, Sam realizes that life is just beginning. Shia LaBeouf shows his mastery of neurosis, imbalance and panic, for which he received a major role in this film.
Megan Fox played a girl with ambition, loves to tinker with car engines, unusual fascinating beauty and how she turned out to be a fall for such extraordinary guys as Sam. I saw this actress for the first time, but she showed her talent. Transformers gave her great popularity, after which she was considered even the most beautiful girl on the planet. It is a pity that she refused to star in the third part of Transformers, for this she is a big minus.
I would also like to highlight Anthony Anderson, who, despite the supporting role, was able to add a lot of humor to the film. Also a big plus to Sam's parents, a lot of fun for the viewer.
The transformation into cars and airplanes was very elegant, as if it were an advertisement for better transportation. Of course, the battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons was hard to make out, but it gave more reality.
In the end, I want to say that the film turned out simply magnificent from all sides: nostalgia, easy and unusual romanticism, courage, humor. Well, the song at the end performed by my favorite band Linkin park was just a gift to complete my 'real dream' Thank you to everyone who created and participated in this film, it was a great honor for me to see it.

What is the most pleasant from the point of view of the general cinemagenicity of Transformers as a phenomenon? If you leave behind the army of fans (these guys can shower the film with roses, and can curse forever) and the general elaboration of this fantastic universe, the Transformers themselves are first of all ready-to-use video series: the complex transformation of a multi-ton iron machine from one form to another has long caused rapid salivation in filmmakers – otherwise complete freedom.
Let the familiar names Megatron and Optimus Prime appear in the text, otherwise the order, purpose and method of the appearance of Autobots with Decepticons on Earth are as if unimportant. The history of their military actions in the entrusted territory can be painlessly twisted so and so, not forgetting only that Jazz should joke a lot, and the Decepticons are all maniac killers. Who will be the heroes “from the earthlings”, how it all starts and how it ends – turn the plot to health, if only more interesting, if only more action.
And Michael Bay, for whom the overseas word “action” for how many years as a non-stick prefix to the surname, took up the case with the proper scope. Having picked up Spielberg’s still warm director’s chair, he took the second “Carrier” and the composer Steve Jablonski, who is already familiar to us, to the group of the operator, giving before that the task of the scriptwriters to portray the story so that it would all be filmed in the end outside the studios with their virtual blue screens – let the future grinding action with the participation of giant and human-like ones be “live and cheerful”, with real tanks, avaxes, helicopters and fireworks, and here the saved in this way did not become so much more lively than the computer legends.
And this plan was implemented: it is worth looking through the entire collection of videos about the shooting to marvel at what miracles can be achieved today by technology without any computer - no, burning tanks there in the air, of course, do not tumble, but cars - quite tumble, buses break in half in the middle of a wide freeway, sand flies in all directions from the paws of a non-existent Scorponoc, and a huge truck can be lifted behind the front axle with one hand. Thus was laid that very living and cheerful foundation for the future hurricane of rebellious iron. Cheerful - because without laughing at Shia LaBuff's grindings since the time of Constantine: Lord of Darkness, you can't watch, and when he starts screaming "No!" Nope! No, no, no!, staring at the void in the middle of the set depicting the next transformer, it is time for old Stanislavsky to revise his gradations far beyond the word "I believe."
So, take a lot of wasted film, a lot of ILM supercomputer clocks, a lot of skinny music from Smashing Pumpkins and Linkin Park (plus one familiar melody for a yellow car and orchestra), and let it all dance. Lovely to the heart of high-tech urochilovo-chukalovo as begins with the first shots of the defeat of the American base in Qatar, and continues, with jokes and jokes, until the final, when the long-awaited Armageddon in the big city and there will be victims, at least at the box office of cinemas.
We will be shown a little Cybertron and tell a little about the Spark, acquainted with a dozen varieties of transformers with tonnage from mobile to tank (Chaloon-Megatron transforms into a real “X-wing”, hello to Lucas), fifty times they will spread like this, eventually converging in a multi-ton urban brawl with the involvement of human power and technology. Right, against the background of this “their fight” will have time to completely forget the word “site” for extreme optionality, and this is even for the best – before us the adventures of an extreme degree of recklessness, not a military drama, here between the delights of massive special effects (in front of the big screen now and then you catch yourself pressing your head in your shoulders) it is customary not to swallow tearful-romantic delusions, or wiser arguments, but to have fun in a lot.
Funny hero, funny robots, funny Afro-hacker, charming in his T-shirt and underpants agent of Sector Seven (here you and the SS, and Superman with his logo), Homeric to idiocy President, witty Jazz (alas, in general, wonderful in terms of acting talent localization in the texts often failed - the translation almost did not leave a living place on it, as well as from many things in the speeches of old Sam Whitwicky), and most importantly - the baby Desepticon Franzie (ear, how he skillfully manages to translate the localization, by the way, just does not listen to the translators).
The result is a continuous drive from beginning to end. In those rare moments when nothing fires of all calibers, does not collapse and does not transform - a sea of great humor, where everything is serious - a sea of action spills. And in places and humor in half with action in one shot. Fantastic action movie in Michael Bay, with the obligatory fall to Earth of a couple of meteorites.
Result: wonderful action with a sea of emoral, great special effects, funny actors and, of course, autobots who arrived with the Decepticons, smashing everything and everything.

It’s been 5 years since the first Transformers came out. I have watched this film many times and would like to write about what I saw. Personally, I think Transformers, one of the best and most interesting capital blockbusters of recent times. Michael Bay shot a real action, which took a worthy place in the film industry. The movie has everything.
Amazing special effects. Autobots and Decepticons on the screen look so realistic that after appearing in the frame, after a few seconds, it seems that they actually exist. Not a bad cast, ranging from main actors to secondary characters. Dynamic plot, chases, speed, romantic line, well-chosen music, light humor throughout the film. In the film, there is everything that should be in action and even more.
Now the actors. Shia LaBeouf, in the role of Sam Whitwicky, very truthfully played an insecure, at first, in himself teenager to a real, fearless guy, by the end of the film, which should save the world. Megan Fox, played the girlfriend of Sam, a beautiful actress with good acting skills. In my opinion, it looked very good on the screen, one of her best roles. John Voight, shooting away from the Decepticons, looked very decent.
What else can I add? Personally, when I am sad or bored to turn on “Transformers” and go to the world that perfectly created Michael Bay, where the Autobots and Decepticons are opposed, and there is Sam Whitwicky, on whom the fate of mankind depends.
In general, this is a film that is worth not only watching, but also reviewing.

Warning: The author of the review has never played with Hasbro toys and has never watched the original animated series, so he has no bias towards the Michael Bay film.
In July 2007, the cinemas did not have such high-profile premieres as a couple of months before. The only movie that sparked interest was Transformers. I went to it not knowing that it was directed by Michael Bay, that it was based on those toys, and that it was going to be one of the best blockbusters of the decade. What was shown in the trailers resembled a meat grinder in the style of “Alien vs. Predator”, so there was no particular hope for the picture. In this regard, “Transformers” exceeded all expectations.
Let's go through the story. An ordinary American man buys his first car. In other words, he did not immediately like the old rusting “Camaro” with paint “on special order”. Oh, he should have seen our six. Along the way, he tries to make a relationship with the local beauty Mikaela. The machine turned out to be a super-advanced robot that protects it from other evil super-advanced robots. At the same time, on the other side of the world, the same evil Transformers are trying to steal secret data from military secret archives, simultaneously fighting with brave American special forces. At the same time, the Pentagon deploys the country’s best analysts (including a smart blonde) to find out who is hacking their secret network.
Isn't there a lot of storylines? But one does not interfere with the other (and the third). All three stories develop organically, complement each other, and then merge together. Why is that? Yes, because they are united by the fourth storyline about the transformers themselves.
Otherwise, the story is not very original (replace the Transformers with other aliens). It combines templates from Men in Black (there is a secret organization that controls alien activities), Spider-Man (a boy has fallen in love with a girl and is trying to like her) and the aforementioned Aliens vs. Predator (our world, their war).
Michael Bay invited not very well-known actors to his next film (with the exception of John Voight and John Turturro). Shia LaBeouf - before that, the viewer could remember him in "I, Robot." Megan Fox - who watched "2.5 people" back in 2003, he remembered. Josh Duhamel was one of the Dorian Grays. Rachel Taylor doesn’t remember it at all. But the whole company of young actors and actresses woke up after the premiere of the famous. Still, how can you forget Meghan after she dug into the Camaro engine?
It just so happened that in the film about transformers, the transformers themselves took a bit to the background. But, nevertheless, they are the main engine of the plot. Very beautiful and dynamic engine. Special effects filmmakers were successful. Well, who could so successfully bring giant robot cars to the big screen? What are those shots where Optimus Prime is not running on the freeway, but as if skating! And the "alter-ego" of autobots - chic cars, Decepticons - chic military equipment - well, what else can so please the boy's eye?
And finally: camera work and music. The footage is impressive. This movie should be watched on the big screen (at least on TV). Beautiful, bright, juicy picture, filling the film with life and freshness. Here, even the desert looks spectacular. And when the whole action begins, the viewer exactly gets into the computer game - a complete immersion in action. The only drawback is sometimes a very shaking camera a la “Quantum of mercy”.
Steve Jablonski did a good job. A decent soundtrack from which a couple of motifs are remembered. Linkin Park's song "What I've Done"
Michael Bay made a dream movie for all the guys on the planet. A film based on their favorite toys with chic special effects, a drive story, unpretentious humor, a beautiful picture, interesting characters and a sexy girlfriend of the main character was doomed to success.
Continuation should be...
Okay. I knew about the film (movies) for a long time, but somehow there was no special desire to check out, despite many enthusiastic reviews. So the fourth day dared to see the first part of “Transformers”.
It turns out a kind of mixture of fantasy-action-comedy. Typical American action with stuffing of standard components. Like a global task - to save the world, large-scale battles, as expected, a love affair - in general, all things.
Graphic accompaniment, despite too close concentration and sharp switching of scenes (apparently a large panorama is expensive to do) – still very good. The sound matches. But the main drawback (to put it mildly) is an unnecessarily idiotic plot (the film is of course aimed at teenagers in the United States and all things), do not hold the viewer for an idiot! Of course, the plot to banality is simple, as in other similar action films, but here we absolutely do not understand “what, where and why?”. It seems that something is happening, and what are the causes and what are the consequences is completely unclear. Plus, unexpected scenes that are introduced into a stupor - as, for example, with a key scene at the end (see - understand).
All is well if the viewer was not held for an idiot.
After a hard day’s work – it will do well not to strain your brain too much, but to look at a beautiful picture.
I’ve never been a Transformers fan, but after watching this movie, I definitely became one. Thanks to the interestingly constructed storyline, the picture captures from the very first minutes of viewing and definitely does not let go until the very end.
There has been a war between the Autobots and the Decepticons for centuries. Each of these parties seeks to get an ancient artifact - Spark. The Autobots want to use it for good, and the Decepticons, oddly enough, on the contrary, want to bring death and destruction with the help of the Spark. One day this confrontation is transferred to Earth.
As stated in an interview, this film is not just a toy adaptation, but a story about a boy and his car. After all, a lot of screen time is devoted to the relationship between aliens and people. This is often done with a lot of humor. And humor is just in “Transformers” on top. The jokes turned out very funny and sounded only in the subject.
“Transformers” is entertainment, effect, a share of humor and a share of drama in one beautiful package.
Who else could direct a blockbuster like Michael Bay? He can rightly be called a master in this business. All of his films are excellent bull-bearing action films with a lot of destruction and explosions. Everyone says it’s because Michael Bay didn’t play as a kid. I think that might be a plus. After all, not everyone will be able to shoot such a spectacular and spectacular fantastic action movie that will leave such an impression. Michael Bay can do it.
“Transformers” he shot at a very high level. The battle scenes between the Autobots and the Decepticons alternated beautifully with humorous scenes. The battles themselves looked spectacular, interesting and absolutely not boring. So Michael Bay, not even a fan of Transformers, was able to shoot a great picture about them.
In the team with him worked no less talented screenwriters Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orsi. This is probably the best way to write a blockbuster script like this. Even if Steven Spielberg is among the producers, success is guaranteed.
All the effect and entertainment “Transformers” provided insanely exciting visuals from Industrial Light & Magic. Both the Autobots and Decepticons and their battles were worked out almost to the slightest detail. I will repeat it again, but I will say that it all looked very colorful, spectacular and spectacular. Naturally, the transformation of the aliens looked very beautiful. This is another plus for the movie.
It would be foolish not to remember the wonderful soundtrack of the picture. Steve Jablonski wrote great music that fit perfectly into this film and was a very good musical surprise.
I really liked the cast in Transformers, because, as for me, all the main actors were selected very well.
Shia LaBeouf played his character very well. In his performance, the word “loser” acquires a new meaning. Shia looked great on the screen in this role. He brought a lot of humor to his character, Sam Whitwicky, but he made it interesting.
Shia's screen girlfriend was played by Megan Fox. Of course, with her appearance, few people paid attention to her acting abilities, but I will say that in the case of Meghan it was not important.
Of the other characters, Anthony Anderson and John Turturo are also remembered - they really made fun of it. Kevin Dunn, John Voight, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Amory Nolasco and Rachel Taylor also left their mark on the memory.
To sum up, Transformers is a great example of a great blockbuster. It has everything you can imagine - a mind-blowing visual range, beautiful battles, good actors and a great director. What else is needed for complete happiness?
Add half a glass of acting, a drop of script, a glass of entertainment and stir it all in a large pelvis with special effects. The result is a freshly baked thriller.
The special effects in the film are amazing. Perfect drawing. The movements of the robots make us go deeper into the film, sometimes even making us believe that Transformers really exist. The film complements: a fairly simple script, a good cast and very beautiful music.
Shia LaBeouf is an actor whom I didn’t like before, but who was able to prove that he deserves attention. Shia perfectly fit into the atmosphere of the transformers, perfectly managed to play his role. I’m not afraid to say it was a pleasure to watch. Megan Fox - blue-eyed beauty, exactly what you need for such a film. Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson perfectly fit into the role of the military. Also pleasing to the eye were actors such as Anthony Anderson, John Voight, John Turturro, Kevin Dunn.
Steve Yablonsky managed to write chic music for the film. And what was my surprise and joy when at the end of the film heard the first notes of the song What I've done band Linkin Park., which added even more positive impressions about the film.
Transformers is a crazy science fiction movie, with explosions, blood and sweat, and humor. Thank you for the great movie.
When I first watched the original animated series and bought a toy Optimus Prime, I had no idea that such an unusual idea could be realistically presented. But director Michael Bay and his phenomenally talented film crew were able to do it.
First of all, I want to note the brilliant special effects of the film, which have not lost their relevance in both sequels. The new, sophisticated design of Transformers and the unforgettable process of their transformations are a clear plus of the film. So I don’t understand why the fans and critics didn’t approve of this detail, because the new and impressive design just had to move on, because the classic transformation process was too simple and clearly not suitable for cinema. Explosions, flights and scenery also look very impressive.
The characters of the film were not disclosed in very detail and this is very unpleasant, which critics also noted. Basically, the characters are shown as brave, dedicated, but they are quite stereotyped, which reduces the realism of the film. But despite this, the cast itself is quite worthy:
Shia LaBeouf, who played Sam Whitwicky, thanks to the eternal adrenaline on the set, played quite at the level. His character turned out to be similar to typical teenage heroes who lived an ordinary life until they got into incredible events and played an important role in them.
Megan Fox, who played Mikaela Baines, was less remarkable, since the whole film was based on its sexuality, although her character was not brave.
Of the other live characters, there is no one to mention, Transformers, on the contrary, deserve praise. Most remembered are Optimus, Bumbly, Megatron and Franzi (the only original Transformer in the film).

Have you lost faith in other civilizations? Then you will be pleased to know that we came to visit not green men, but robots-transformers, immortal and powerful creatures looking for an incredibly powerful artifact in the depths of the Universe. Is it fate that he came to Earth? Our world is war. The Desipticons are ready to destroy everyone just to find the Cube, the Autobots are ready to protect people from the unreasonable terror of their dark brethren. So, hold on tight to the chairs (more precisely the seats).
Of course, special effects with transformation will not surprise anyone, but they look really unforgettable. Well-coordinated work of every mechanism, every detail, this gloss of refined metal, clanging, thunder and gnashing, live movements and incredible humanoidness ... yes, robots learned human speech using the Internet. Poor! One Optimus is acting like a true gentleman. The rest look like some brash company, desperate soldiers of luck in armor. A lot of metal with the consciousness of living beings – it was in other films, but at once they came to our planet and staged a massacre for the Great Spark? Where else would you find that? A friend of mine said that Transformers unpleasantly reminded him of the stords from Power Rangers. As for me, I didn’t even remember them. No resemblance. Realistic transformations, living movements, characters and manners... well, beautiful!
Everything else in the film is a scene: countries, people, day and night, fighting... even the main characters are not the main characters at all, but some secondary inserts. Regarding the slogan itself, the main characters are transformers who wait for an incomplete overture to pass without revealing any secrets and mysteries about the storyline. It only starts after you visit Sector 7, and then it becomes clear. And so people who don't suspect anything find themselves in extras among giant robots that tear everything apart. Well, it was Megatron!
