A superhero film directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster, with Sherlize Theron) based on the DC Comics comic book of the same name and the fourth DC Extended Universe film after Suicide Squad. I mean, it's worth going to the movie right away. Now let’s look at the shelves why. Well, first of all, this is just a creation of DC. and if you go to a superhero movie, then only from them. I know I'm going to be fucked by Marvel fans. But listen to everyone! First in the comic book universe, this is the first large-scale movie where a woman is a superhero, rather than a reason to go. Feminism is here at every step and the title theme, and the heroine and also the director is a woman, which was not the case before. As for Gadot, of course, everything is clear here as if it were stupid to expect anything. She's certainly and unquestionably a very, very beautiful woman, and it would be foolish to deny that but the actress from her, Nikaya, is my opinion and in my opinion it's obvious. So basically the movie is impossible to watch the first 40 minutes, I wrote along the way and almost left, but no, here it begins just the action. And I must say the visual in the picture of course at the level that is why we love such a movie.
Don’t just write to me later that what kind of cock you advised, this is a genre movie and they go to it with certain goals and tasks. In my opinion, it's not a bad movie to hike now, well, except perhaps #Dislike but that's another story. I gave the film a solid four because there is a meaning that I hope you will see. And the most beautiful and beautiful Galya. And finally, this is a large-scale film with a beautiful visual. Well, in conclusion, I would like to say that in general, frankly, DC, of course, not always give out quality, take at least (Batman vs. Superman), but that’s how I like them and they are in any case trying to make a superhero movie with meaning and soul. And in a miracle, the woman, by the way, was not a bad attempt, and of course I am insanely waiting (Justice League) I hope that they will not fail. This is essentially my debut in the review of the movie novelty, before that still the format was a la my favorite list. But I hope that you will enjoy this endeavor and I will often write reviews of new and worthy films. Thank you for finishing up :
We believed, hoped and finally got a decent DC movie. To ' The Dark Knight' the picture is certainly very far away, but ' Batman vs. Superman' it bypassed much.
First, it is worth noting the script. The plot of the film developed quite smoothly, without sharp plot jumps and is clear to viewers not familiar with the canon. There was no long dialogue, I do not remember that I would be bored while watching. I also enjoyed the humor.
Of the disadvantages, we can note how the last battle was staged. But here the claims are more to the director, not the writers. At Diana's pretentious speech, it made me laugh. Although I can imagine this scene, with the same words, only that the words would freeze everything inside, and not make fun of.
Gal Gadot was also pleasantly surprised. When she was chosen for the role, I was very upset. Terribly thin actress did not get involved with the image of the Amazon. Nor did I share the excitement after her appearance in 'Batman vs. Superman'. Yes, there was a spectacular lady on the screen, but clearly not a miracle woman. Her image was closer to the female cat. But in a solo film, she looks much more canonical. Whether it is the merit of the actress herself and she was able to gain weight, or the operator who chose successful angles, in any case, on the way out we got the princess of the Amazons. You can’t even talk about the big angles, they looked great. So to the acting there are no special claims, if somewhere they did not finish, then these moments are too insignificant.
I would like to mention the rest of the Amazons, all the girls looked powerful warriors. I would not like to meet them on the battlefield. Queen Hippolyta looks especially impressive, I would like to see more scenes of the fight with her participation.
There was no doubt about Chris Pyne, this is his image and he looks great. It is a pity that now we will not see him in a more significant role in DC.
The one who really upset me was David Thewlis, the villain out of him came none. And that's considering the visual scenes with Ares I liked.
I would also like to note how competently the theme of feminism was played in the film. The image of this heroine is too closely associated with feminist movements and it would be wrong to ignore it. But the excess of this could significantly scare off the male audience, which would be critical for a film of this genre. And now it is worth applauding the creators, they were able to resist the thin line between two evils.
I hope that the next DC movies will significantly bypass the Wonder Woman, because despite all the advantages, there is a lot to work on. But in any case, the film came out decent and I definitely recommend it to watch.
The honorable public shouted in one voice - DS succeeded! We finally succeeded!
I managed to make a good movie. Personally, to my taste, suicides were not so bad, but I will not hype on this topic.
For what a big plus to the creators at once, is for revealing the image of the hero (or rather the heroine) from the youngest nails. For 15 minutes of screen time, we clearly and clearly tell where Diana is and why.
Wonder Woman is considered an icon of feminism. But the authors of the film, for which they are honored and respected, did not emphasize this. Hallelujah! Amazons are positioned (the original comic book did not read) as peacemakers. And from the mouth of Diana sounds the idea that the world is ruled by love.
And the networking and entourage of the First World War is terrifyingly convincing here - as in the best historical films. Coats, helmets, cloves and rivets - all natural and authentic.
A lot of people didn’t like it ' deception' with an antagonist, but I think it’s appropriate and works. The final battle is simply in the best traditions of the genre.
Good caste. It's great to see Tulis back in big projects. Pine is always sweet and sweet. Too much. And Gal Gadot... She's beautiful! Unlike her co-stars Vikander and Delevingne, who also stepped onto the big screen, she's actually playing. And convincing. Unlike Bets-Afleck, this is one hundred percent hit!

A good, high-quality and with the right messages film about a bright comic warrior.
Wonder Woman is a comic book hero
What I can say about this movie, it’s amazing. This is the film that characterizes the hero as super. And yes, it may not be perfect, but it definitely should not be missed. What I didn’t like was two things:
1- Not very well processed special effects and this, unfortunately, can be seen.
2- The new-fashioned trend of character dramas/deaths. Due to the fact that the audience liked these moments in Wolverine and the Outcast, this does not mean that now they need to be shoved everywhere, we came for a positive, according to this film, and in pirates with guards, in my opinion this is superfluous.
The rest of the film is great. The soundtracks are excellent, the Actors’ Game is delightful (with the exception of Ares, in my opinion the actor himself is not suitable for this role, personally I do not perceive him as a god of war), the plot is normal, it is worth understanding that here he does not particularly play a role, since the film is about superheroes, but he is definitely better than in the Guardians, pirates or the king (where he is not especially). Well, the main thing is humor, there is a lot of it and it is good.
'Wonder Woman' is a film that will please not only fans (as in BPS), but also for viewers unfamiliar with this character (as the origin of the character and becoming a hero are given in the film meaningfully, but not for long). Few films with a female main character can please the audience and this film is definitely among them.
First, I would like to note the well-chosen landscapes and locations of the film. Green Paradise Island Themyscira, London early XX century and battlefields allow you to feel the atmosphere of the film and eliminates the gap between fiction and the present.
Special effects are used in moderation, sometimes you notice in places how Diana throws something, but the movement of the object is somehow not coordinated with her hand, but it is small things. The film often used 'slow mo' effect during contractions and this gave pleasure to consider the situation in detail and acrobatic techniques.
Gal Gadot, in my opinion, perfectly performed the role of Wonder Woman, revealed the hero not only as a warrior, but also a sensitive woman with sincere intentions and bright thoughts, who is ready to risk herself for the sake of others and capable of strong love. Here I want to note the acting of Chris Pine, playing a little timid, but brave soldier. They both fit together, which is a pleasure to watch their relationship develop. The secondary characters are revealed very well, despite the limited screen time, their presence and dialogue do not go unnoticed and bring their color to the film.
The script of the film can be assessed as good with a plus. Part of Diana's origin seems a little drawn out. Then the plot goes smoothly and creates a complete without disruptive picture. There are several villains in the film: two on the human side (Dr. Maru and General Ludendorff) and the ancient Greek god of war Ares.
And in the film, Diana asks who is to blame for evil - gods or people? I will not say that the main villain impressed with his game or plans, but his appearance was unexpected (at least for me).
Separately, I want to note the amazing music of Rupert Gregson-Williams. She is just magical, and only because of her I want to watch the film again.
I hope that DC films will continue to delight us with their films. And if the reader doubts whether to watch the film, I will say directly: 'Go, it is worth it. I decided to write a review for the first time & #39. In the meantime, we are waiting for the Justice League to come out.
The film is really boring and long. While watching it, I had the same feeling as at the Ranetok concert accompanied by a young niece. A completely deterministic world, not even deterministic, predictable. There is no room for improvisation or intrigue. Everything is predetermined. Evergreen paradise island inhabited by beautiful warriors with a flat annoying humor clearly prescribed by men. The Nordic queen of the Amazons, a mortal, gave birth to a Mediterranean goddess stuck at the age of 10-11 for intellectual and emotional development. The Amazons themselves are most reminiscent of RPG characters of the “kill them all” type, who in the frame only do what they pump. To Xena, Black Mamba, the heroines of Mila Jovovich and Angelina Jolie, the lush main character Diana is very, very far away in charisma and personal charm. There were moments with long speeches of the main character about the war, which, combined with her face and gestures, left a very strange impression.
The advantage of the film is a strict dosing of hardness and violence, they are already enough in life, unfortunately.
Something is wrong with superhero movies lately. Marvel films with varying success manage to upset, then please the audience with their works, DC can not get used to its path, trying to start not with solo films about powerful heroes, but with their crossovers. Quite strangely began to laugh "serious" "Man of Steel", and very scantly, I would even say miserably, finished the work "Suicide Squad". There was no hope. Hedgehog was clear that it would be better to start with "original" about the heroes. But now, in a difficult time for DC, it was the right choice.
Success was guaranteed if only because Diana Prince had just 15 minutes in Batman v Superman to get a standing ovation in the hall. But anyway, the sediment after the previous blockbusters remained, but the new brainchild of Detective Comics managed to restore its reputation.
The plot tells about Diana (Gal Gadot), a girl who was destined to become a great ruler. But the events unfolding outside the island of Themiscira, entail horrific consequences, which is why after the arrival of pilot Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), who told about the war that lasts for many years, Diana decides to go with him to the heart of the war to put an end to it.
It would seem that the plot is uncomplicated. But here lies the unique highlight of the film. Myths, legends, gods, distant, unknown worlds attract our attention. Beauty and naivety, in contrast to the destructive power of war, put the picture an order of magnitude higher than its predecessors. At the same time, it is impossible not to empathize with the heroes who are so different, trying to understand each other’s worlds, to become part of it. Diana’s naivety, her attitude to the things around her, so naive, so childish, if viewed from our point of view, explains everything with the help of tales and legends. But at the same time, her courage, her courage, does not make her a child. In her relationship to the world, to her surrounding world, she makes us not just empathize with her, but fall in love, albeit in a short period of time.
One cannot but praise the magnificent visual series that accompanied the film. On the one hand, there are not so many battles and dynamic actions here, but personally I was struck not so much by battles and battles, but by the atmosphere of that very military past. To recreate the same spirit of times that was about a hundred years ago, and so skillfully, skillfully - above all praise.
But you can not ignore and what we come to superhero movies for action. It is simply magnificent: detailed military battles please the eye. On the one hand, it is not much, but it is so harmonious with the main story that it does not strain, relaxes and at the same time strains the viewer. The only thing that cut the eye during the viewing - countless use of slow mo, which in some moments was out of place.
I want to note the amazing cast, which, although not so star, but made their characters really alive so much that you unwittingly fall in love with them. There was also an excellent soundtrack, which could make the film more brutal, energetic, lively. After watching the topic of Diana for a long time revolved in my head.
Thus, “Wonder Woman” is a stunning, dynamic, sometimes touching, sometimes funny, and just worth the audience’s attention film. You certainly don’t expect that after watching its predecessors, setting yourself up for the worst. But Diana Prince managed to lift the studio to its feet and with new strength to continue the series about superheroes. Therefore, without the slightest blink of conscience, Wonder Woman wins my already picky heart and her deserved ones.

P.S. The only problem that plagues me so far is DC really capable of making its iconic villains disposable and scattering them as "boss" on every movie? Not nagging, but at this rate you can "leak" all the most valuable that they have.
Action Movie is traditionally overgrown with philosophical pathos. The theme here is the meaninglessness of war. And it's a good example of the First World War. The main feature is recognized by all the feminist beginnings of the film: the main role is a female and the film was also shot by a woman. But that’s not what the movie is worth watching, or vice versa. There are a number of real advantages.
Wonder Woman is a well-represented comic book. The film was shot according to the rules of this recently formed genre. At the same time, it is difficult to blame the creators for the template: although the plot develops according to the traditional canvas, you look with interest to what is happening on the screen until the very end (almost). And this is for a two-hour movie already merit.
The main issues raised are perfectly woven into the history of the formation of one of the central characters of the DC Universe. As Diana Prince grows up and moves from Themiscira to Europe, the meaninglessness of war is revealed and a woman in this new world can be not only a secretary but also a warrior. These things are a sensation for the characters of the picture: the first for Diana, and the second for everyone else. The audience is watching this evolution.
Gal Gadot is beautiful. Excellent in expressing the ideas of both the film and the character. It is pleasant to look at everyone, regardless of gender, although the emphasis on the fact that the main character is a woman, made a lot. The film kind of flips this old patriarchal game, but doesn't make a revolution out of it, the creators just show how you can make such a movie and how cool it will be. And certainly this is not the first debut of the superheroine in the leading role: Jessica Jones was released back in 2015. Would you say it's a TV series? Then "Electra" - generally in 2005. However, only Wonder Woman was fired. Thanks to the high-quality work of the film crew and PR people.
Fights
Yes, sometimes the fights look a little fantastic - well, it's a movie about superheroes. In general, every fight, shootout, and often they are intertwined here, put very cool. Not only is it pleasant to watch: the ear enjoys the appropriate musical accompaniment. In a couple of scenes, Batman v Superman fans will just be battling for fun. And for a long time there were no such battles where the supercharacter was placed in very realistic conditions. It's like Spider-Man in Saving Private Ryan. Imagine? Something like this happens in the frame during the battles of Diana with the Germans, only blood and there is much less.
Locations
All the action takes place in places very colorful. If it is an island of the Amazons, then it really amazes with its beauty. If it's London, you and Diana feel a kind of fuss and dirt around. The front of the First World War causes disgust and other spectrum of negative emotions, and most strongly feel it not during action scenes, and when show all these ditches, ruins and trenches in a “routine” state. Although to admire this in 2017 - even a little strange.
What I didn't like
All claims to the picture arise only because of secondary characters. Except for Gal Gadot, nobody really played. They didn't. There's Chris Pine, and he's doing his part flawlessly. But still, to the displeasure of Diana Prince herself, he becomes such a “typical man” who is devoted to duty and his beloved. A little from the hero-soldier, a little from the hero of many melodramas. Although this can be considered as an author’s move: a contrast of an outstanding atypical woman against the background of the standard role of a man.
In addition to this pair, only episodic characters help to reveal the ideas of the film. Again, many of them perform their role perfectly. The other question is, should they be portrayed this way? Sir Patrick, for example, was not to be ironic if we wanted to make him a real victim of war.
Misunderstandings with the main antagonists. Spoiler: There are three in the movie. Or not three. Dr. Poison wasn't so convincing. Largely because the main villain did not come out of her in the end. It is not a hostage of circumstances.
However, the main claim is to Ares. The idea of the creators is clear. But if it were removed from the script altogether, the film wouldn’t be affected. And then there's this general who inhales fumes of either methamphetamine or potions and then breaks metal with his hands. Much darker would be just a brutal villain with no supernatural powers. Then it would not be necessary to paint lightning and currents of electricity in the last battle, the outcome of which is already obvious to every viewer.
A small claim arose at the beginning: to the image of bloodthirsty Germans. However, by the end of the film, when everything fell into place, she disappeared.
Despite these downsides, Wonder Woman is worth watching. Not because it's a "revolutionary" movie, which it isn't. And thanks to beautiful locations, charismatic Gal Gadot and the right priorities. Watch and fans of comic books, and feminists, and everyone else who loves films of this genre.

Only recently, I left the cinema with a pretty good impression after a session that was done alone, which implies not only no company, but also an empty cinema room, so that it was on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Nothing and no one could share their view and impressions over the view, so you can completely form your own opinion about this picture.
From the very beginning of the film was enough hype on the topic of selection of the actress for the role of Wonder Woman. Fans and those who are familiar with the comics superficially represent this super-heroine a little differently - this is a woman of athletic, rather athletic build with a lush chest and strong-willed look. Initially, we met Gal Gadot in BPS Snyder and I can see that she was a pleasant surprise of the previous DC film. It lacks any bright features of the militant Amazon from the comics pictures, but after the film Wonder Woman you will have no doubts about the choice of the main character.
In this film, we observe the formation of Diana Prince from childhood, we get acquainted with her native island, surroundings, family, but go through this stage superficially (perhaps we will get acquainted with the culture of the Amazons in subsequent films), which leaves many questions. Why did it appear at this time, why was this tower with armor needed? By the way, it was a pleasant surprise to see Robin Wright, so much already bored her image of first lady Claire in the series House of Cards.
Acting skills have been pushed to the background, in such films it is better to concentrate on the picture and the story. Although not to praise Gal Gadot for a naive childish look would be a big omission. To Chris Pine, there is also no wrangling, he played just a good guy who fights for a brave cause, and the role of the language will not turn to be difficult. About the villains and their actors in this film will not be able to say much, they turned out to be template, as if for props, so that there was someone to fight with, before us still the film adaptation of the comic.
The action in the film does not cause any vivid emotions and the effect of "Wow!" and this is due either to the fact that the viewer is already spoiled by enchanting fights of superhumans, or the lack of original ideas in staging battles of characters with such force. Snyder acted in this film as a producer, but put his hand to the visual component, then we could watch a really worthwhile fight that would not be limited to lasso, swords, a couple of tossed cars and piles of scattered pieces of land.
The most interesting thing in this picture was the process of becoming Diana from a cute girl from an island closed from the rest of the world to Wonder Woman, with character, with an awareness of how this world and people work. And through this process, the viewer gets acquainted with her views on good and evil, on people, on certain situations associated with the manifestation of the human factor. The oddity of all this is that in this superheroic protagonist is a woman, which we have not seen on the big screens before. The world was interested to see how the main character will behave surrounded by men, how she will adapt to women of that era, fashion, communication and even marriage. That is why perhaps Wonder Woman can boast of its collections on the first weekend, where the main director, as it is not surprising, is also a woman.
In conclusion, I can say that the film is presented as a brief introduction to a member of the Justice League and carries the idea of world peace, and it is shown very clearly and clearly. The picture is very suitable for family viewing, as the idea of love for the world would be very relevant and useful to show children of our time.
Many people around the world, disillusioned with previous DC films, went to Wonder Woman without much hope and high expectations. I was one of them, and it only worked for me. As you know, high expectations can kill all the pleasure of watching. And yet, it was quite unexpected to get the best film of this cinematic universe in the face of a story about an ancient Greek half-goddess-the Amazon.
The new creation of DC studios surprised me with its unobtrusive, unsophisticated beauty, equipped with a simple morality and an unpretentious plot. After "Batman v Superman", in which the devil will break his leg, while he understands the plot twists and motivations of the characters, you do not expect such directness from the film. He does not, however, follow in the footsteps of the frankly flat and stupid "Suicide Squad", nor in the footsteps of the clumsy and pathetic-suffering "Man of Steel". Slowly dispersing, he tells us first about the way of life of the ancient Amazons, then about the journey of Diana into the world of people, the collision of principles with harsh reality and simple heroism, how about without it, and it does not smell either snotty drama or gloomy despair. The first three quarters of the film are particularly good. The controversial point is only the simplification of everything related to the war, which, however, is typical for comic books. For example, the greatest danger of war here lies in a superweapon created by an evil chemist. The spirit of this film is similar to the character of the main character: the plot is somewhat naive and straightforward, but at the same time carries a serious truth.
Unfortunately, to twist this truth did not give a completely illogical ending , which seemed to be crammed into the film in the last stages, suddenly remembering that in a superhero movie necessarily there should be a final epic battle with evil, where everything would be reduced to empty pathos and clichés like "And that's all you can do?", "They all need to be destroyed!" and "Wait a minute, I'll explain to my enemy how to defeat myself." It seems completely inappropriate, especially in light of recent dialogues, saying that people are like that, so get your fairy tales out of your head. Not only did the filmmakers seriously introduce the ancient Greek gods into the cinematic universe (and this is after Snyder’s biblical references), they also negated the seriousness of the war as it is and the depth of actions of ordinary soldiers and officers. Everybody got up and hugged, that's all. And yes, I know that in DC comics mythology plays an important role, but it is one thing to say that this hero is the son of a god, and another to show this very god in reality as an accomplice in the outbreak of the First World War. Does this mean that pagan faith is true in the comic book world, or that several religions co-exist? If the world of the gods is another dimension in Marvel, what is it? So it turns out that all the soldiers who saw the final battle of Diana with the Glavgad had to believe in the great Zeus. In general, DC is the master of coming up with stupid endings. Everything in the end boils down to a typical "love will save the world", although much more appropriate would sound something like "Everyone has good if he believes in it, and for the sake of this faith I will protect people."
What to say about the characters . Almost all the positive characters here are good, from the pretty Diana (Gal Gadot), amazingly retaining the styling in the fiercest fight and not a drop smeared in the blood of the murdered enemies, to the funny Charlie (Ewan Bremner), which, it turns out, the singer from the god (read - the great Zeus), or Miss Candy (Lucy Davis), the simple-minded secretary of the English spy Steve Trevor (Keyne) they do not believe in the game.
The visual series is mostly pleasing. Action is good, but in some places the director is too fond of taking slow-mo and pathetic photography of Diana’s developing hair, and sometimes the movements of the characters look too unnatural, but this does not spoil the overall impression. The quality of the special effects falls by the end of the film, but in the end the quality of the whole picture falls, so it is not surprising. Costumes I also liked, although I will not say exactly whether they correspond to the era, I am not an expert; and it also seemed to me that the armor of the Amazon sucks Gal Gadot into soft places.; ) Atmosphere is present, which is a great merit of the soundtrack. The most memorable still remains the theme of Wonder Woman from Batman v Superman, but the rest of the tracks are not bad either. Despite the light nature of the film, in some places the atmosphere is not pumped like a child, but then returns to normal.
Also, the undoubted plus is humor. He is not here to cause laughter to tears, but definitely amusing.
It is worth noting in some century a year-old love line without going through pink snot and with almost tangible chemistry between the characters.
The verses of the Quran say, “The Quran is not the Quran.” It would be better if the antagonists remained darkness and chaos in the hearts of people.
So, the film was not sinless, but quite worthy of viewing: light, interesting and with meaning. Even the ending failed to put an end to everything that came before it.
+ fascinating story
+ characters
+ Acting performance

P.S. And why, for all the timekeeping, did no one try to describe Diana, at least conditionally, how everything in this world is arranged and why the war? Why isn't anyone particularly surprised by her superpowers? Why not? . .
Best DC Comics movie I've ever seen. Yes, it's even better ' Batman' Christopher Nolan. And you know why? Because he is completely devoid of the inherent British nugget (in no way detract from Christopher's talents) dullness. Narrative in 'Wonder Woman' never sags. There is no painful search for something that has nothing to do with it. And there are no long and boring dialogues like in the last 'Batman'Nolan
The main character is not to be described in words. You have to see this! Gal Gadot is just a top ten hit. That heartfelt look is a hell of a thing. My first acquaintance with this actress took place when I accidentally wandered into 'Fast & Furious 5' but even then I really liked her, and I allowed myself to assume that she would still play a big role. And that moment has come. I would admire her character indefinitely if I could. Because she's beautiful. Both figure and intelligence. It’s easy to believe that perfection is in front of you. Goddess.
The plot is generally not bad, although you can not call it original. Suddenly I liked the main villain performed by David Thewlis. He had enough of the very secrecy that many negative characters of recent times often lack. The English agent played by Chris Pine is also great.
About the visual part, we can only talk about laudatory epithets. The operator tried his best. 'Slo-mo' is present, and where it is - it is quite appropriate. The music written for the film perfectly complements the overall picture.
In the end, we have a great story. Yeah, a fairy tale. Do not try to look for seriousness there, especially the more casual (the more Zach Snyder constantly sins). She's not there. Just have fun
DC is not having the best of times. Low, even disgusting ratings, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. A flurry of criticism towards Zack Snyder for his inability to show a decent picture of two powerful heroes, a huge and wrong cut of the film. Then "Suicide Squad," which turned out to be good individually, but disgusting together. Now there is news that Zack Snyder is leaving the post of director of Justice League (due to a family emergency), and his place will be taken by Joss Whedon. How the replacement will affect the picture is unknown, but in any case, what Zach originally planned will not be implemented completely. "Wonder Woman" is a film that the company had high hopes for. And not just the company. Fans whose whims starved for the films of their favorite company, with great anticipation waited for the film.
"Wonder Woman" is the first film among the film adaptations of comic books, where the director is a woman. Patty Jenkins began her career in two thousand and one years. And ten years later she received the coveted award of the Directors Guild of the United States for the pilot episode of the series “Murder” for best director of a drama series. The creation of the film was thought about in the nineties, when the contract for writing the script and shooting the film was signed with Ivan Reitman. Over the past nineteen years, the project has lost five writers and directors, which is undoubtedly a negative fact. Fortunately, in October 2014, the main actress and director was approved, who will produce the picture.
What I want to note is that the minuses dominate the picture, rather than the pluses. Story troubles that lead to a stupor, or the behavior of the characters, changing too often. All this is a little thing that, in fact, should not attract attention, does it, constantly sharpening on itself the small details of the film. But surely things like action and CGI are the best in the movie. The choreography of the fights looks attractive, and the quality of the picture is juicy. The latter, by the way, exactly rotates, replacing the colorful and spectacular landscapes of Themyscira with the dark (as DC likes) trenches of the First World War. “At dawn...” often suffered from a high concentration of seriousness. Ms. Jenkins took a lesson from this and observed in the film the effect of "too much haha." “Wonder Woman”, unlike Batman v Superman, is funny, but the level of humor is moderate, which allows you not to make it a stupid comedy. Graphics sometimes cut your eyes. The final scene is oversaturated with bright, even very bright colors that degrade the quality of the picture.
Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) is a British intelligence pilot. While undercover, Steve learns that Germany is preparing to spread poisonous gas around the world. Of course, with no thought other than stealing data, he does it by escaping on someone else's plane. The role of Steve Trevor went to the talented Chris Pine, whose face became popular after filming in several parts of Star Trek. Chris is a brave scout. Not afraid of critical consequences, he was one of the first to put forward his candidacy for infiltration into hostile territory. Chris Pine is a world charm for girls of every country, has repeatedly proved that he is an actor, and very good. “Wonder Woman” is a great example to prove this. Chris doesn't overdo it, as Gal does sometimes. His character is an adequate scout who will first consider the situation, and only then begin to take possible steps. Pine is not the first person to play such characters, so there should have been no problem playing Wonder Woman. Chris, like a textbook, stamps situations where he stands and where he should not turn off from the game. It is worth noting that each male character in the film is a separate page with the admiration that delivers to the audience. Each one is unique and enjoys each one.
Gal Gadot was once a rider and a criminal, and now a powerful woman. Appearing once in “At the Dawn of Justice”, Gal raised universal delight. Fans were animated, learning about the shooting of the solo picture, and popularity reached its maximum, signing a contract to participate in DC films. Diana is a princess of Themyscira and a very naive girl. After hearing stories of Ares (the God of War) behind every war, Diana believes that conflicts will cease if God dies. A resident of Themiscira is a person from the category of “do-think”. First of all, Diana will do what she thinks. Full of the desire to destroy the source of all wars, Diana does not see the essence - people are wars. Diana’s only desire so energizes her thoughts that she is unable to think of anything else. Gal Gadot is beautiful, no questions asked. She skillfully portrays a resident of a kind - thoughtless and not understanding people. A person who enters the human world for the first time should be one. Diana doesn't understand the people themselves, their thoughts and what drives them. The merit of such a game undoubtedly lies in the features of Gadot. Her acting professionalism wonderfully portrayed the Amazon.
In the film Patty Jenkins interesting almost every character. The exception is Ares. Being one of the most powerful antagonists in the comics, Ares is frankly sorry to "merge" in the film. With no clear motives and purpose, Ares becomes the most useless character in the entire film series. Other representatives of the unfriendly organization, Dr. Yad and General Ludendorff, are not shining anything special either. Unlike Ares, the duo have a goal that they achieve with all sorts of results. The actors who played their roles are not bad, and here already claims to the writers rather than to the performers.
The verdict. Wonder Woman is unquestionably the best movie in the movie universe. Gadot’s charm and Pine’s masculinity make the film a stunning candy that will be edible for everyone. The film spoils an abundant amount of colors and the main villain, who, in general, does not exist. Feminism raised around the film is absolutely out of place here.
Look, I just pushed them to do it. War is their work.
I dedicate this review to the same people as me who do not like and do not understand the beauty of comics, but once in a hundred years I am ready to go to the cinema for something that is ready in all colors to present us Marvel or DC.
Now let’s talk about what inspired me to go to 'Wonder Woman'. Well, first of all, this is the presence of Gal Gadot in the lead role. (yes, I will start with the actors, perhaps). She played very well, considering the fact that she is first of all a model, and then an actress.
In addition, the theme of the character Diana is a strong, independent woman, ready to defend the honor of not only her world, but also the world of people. This is a truly amazing story about women, imbued with feminist sentiment. Initially, getting into the world of ' mere mortals', Diana can not quickly orient, seems completely naive and careless, however, she learns very quickly. In general, there are no complaints about the game Lady Gadot. It is also very nice that the film is directed by a woman – Patty Jenkins.
Chris Pine leaves a double impression: at first the character seems more interesting, since he is no spy, but then, as the plot unfolds, his character fades somewhat. In this case, it is the hero, not the actor. In addition, a certain 'sweetness' on Pine's part is completely at odds with my idea of spies who were previously portrayed in movies.
Next, David Lewis. Somehow it so happened that the play of this talented actor in this picture is completely invisible. When it comes to the character, you notice what is happening around the special effects, rather than acting.
Actors of secondary roles are not that they do not make a proper impression on the viewer, they simply do not remember and distinguish someone, based on the game, becomes an insurmountable task. However, in the frame still flashed the famous model Doutzen Croesus, but this vision was so fleeting that once again confirms the uncertainty of other characters.
By the way, the image of military operations will be absolutely vivid, the work was done really skillfully. Moreover, the 3D format very advantageously displays events, especially moments of slow motion.
Gal Gadot’s sunny smile, Chris Pine’s no less heroic look, a female director, and a number of other pluses did not affect my opinion. And no matter how much I try to love movies based on comics, nothing intelligible comes out of it. It’s probably just not my genre and not my story at all. I will leave ' Wonder Woman' to the court of more experienced connoisseurs and devoted fans.
About Wonder Woman, a character from the DC comics, I learned thanks to the animated series “Justice League”, which was once on the CTC channel. As a child, I loved this superhero. Slim, combative, but so sexy. Like Superman, she can lift heavy objects and throw them at the enemy.
But now we will not talk about the animated series, but about the film telling the story of this heroine.
(I will tell you the description in the style of Russian folk tales)
Once upon a time there was an island called Themiscira, where only Amazons and no male soul lived, a girl named Diana (Gal Gadot). And she lived with her mother Hippolyta and the Amazons. She lived, trained in battle with other Amazons, hunted, and at night listened to a story – the story of how Zeus, the thundering god, created life on our planet called Earth, and his son, Ares (David Thewlis), sowed chaos and mess that only the Amazons could prevent. She would have lived that way until a plane crashed on her island. And in this plane was a spy named Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), who was flying during an extremely important mission related to the theft of secret documents on the development of weapons of mass destruction, which is created in a secret laboratory of one of the Central Power countries (the film takes place during the First World War) under the leadership of General Ludendorff (Danny Houston), and, accordingly, the destruction of these weapons.
After learning about what is happening outside the island, Diana, despite being warned that she will never return, decides to help him complete this mission and end this terrible bloody war, thinking that the evil god Ares did it all. There she gets acquainted with the culture of the local residents, observes everything that is happening, sees the war and the death of people with her own eyes and finally understands who is to blame for this. Who is it? You’ll find out by watching this movie because I don’t want to spoil it.
I’m not going to say that everything is beautiful in this film, from the graphics to the atmosphere. I’m tired of saying the same thing every time I review a good movie. And so it is clear that everything here is thought out and everything is brilliant. The film deals with the theme of sexual and racial discrimination, which were inherent in the early XX century and which remained in the XXI century in some countries. And, of course, the film tells us the truth about why all these wars are fought, both world and local. I think everyone knows that.
The film is often accused of having too much feminism. I don't know who thought that. Probably after an incident in a movie theater where men were not allowed to watch just because they were men. The claim should be addressed to the owner of the cinema, not the filmmakers. There are no male characters in this film who are perverts, maniacs who want a khm-khm with a girl. After all, the film takes place, again, in wartime. In war, one should think first of all about war, about how to finish it and stay alive after that in order to enjoy a peaceful life. It's not about sex. But I've gone too far. Perhaps it is time to sum up.
I want to give this beautiful film the following assessment:
10 out of 10
This film can be safely put in the same shelf with the Marvel comic book film Logan, released in the same year as Wonder Woman. Both films carry a hidden meaning, both of which give us, viewers and comic book fans, food for thought.
Warner Bros./DC Comics continues to develop its DC Extended Universe. The central character of the 4th feature film from this line was, most important in its time and insanely relevant now, the heroine of the comics by William Molutlon Marston and Harry J. Peter - an icon of American feminism, an Amazon named Diana Prince.
Approving the role of Wonder Woman Israeli supermodel and, more recently, actress Gal Gadot (“Fast and Furious 4-6”, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”), Zack Snyder made the right move – the face of the girl is not tarnished with an impressive background (as in the case of Henry Cavill, who played the role of the Man of Steel), in addition, she is, in moderation, charismatic, inhuman, beautiful, and her radiant smile is so rayed by the fact that her face is so important for the League to confirm her plans. Limiting himself to the role of executive producer of a solo picture about the main superheroine of DC Comics and putting in the director's chair the director of the Oscar-winning "Monster" (2003) with Charlize Theron, American Patty Jenkins, Snyder, and at all, made the move of a horse - never before have films from competing with Marvel, the Cinematic Universe been so dramatically calibrated and not rolled into a heap of powerful action, Easter and symbolism.
Charming Chris Pine (“Star Trek”), gorgeous Lucy Davis (“Zombie by Name of Sean”), unexpectedly, the strong music of the composer, far from the first echelon, Rupert Gregson-Williams (“Tarzan. Legend”), a vivid contrast between Paradise Themiscira and rainy Britain of 1918 in combination with a masterfully recreated, gloomy atmosphere of the trench front and, skipped in PG-13, military naturalism. All this forms the "Wonder Woman" (2017) - not so much, the first in the history of cinema, a solo tape about the above-mentioned heroine and, concurrently, the first superhero film, shot by a representative of the weaker sex, how much, most mundane, an illustrative example of the struggle with, universally established, feminism, deliberately wrapped in its bright propaganda, coming to which, fans of DC comics will see a perfect screen adaptation (fan service in the form of protective bracelets, tiara, a film, a film, a true love of the world, and a woman, can finally be beautiful, from a true one who is capable of a woman, and a woman, from a true one who is beautiful one who is capable of all, from the world, from the truth, from the truth, and a man, and a man.

I watched Wonder Woman and was very pleased with what I saw. If not for a couple of buts, it would be utter splendor.
"Wonder Woman" is a peculiar, atypical comic book film, which is the first independent film about a superhero woman.
The film adaptation is included in the DC Cinematic Universe and is the best in it (remember that while 4 films are included there: “Man of Steel”, “Batman v Superman”, “Suicide Squad” and “Wonder Woman”, + 12 more films are planned. Nolan's "Dark Knight" is NOT in this universe!
Director Patty Jenkins managed to create a very exciting, highly aesthetic, kind, non-stupid and diverse film: there is a film about a superhero, military drama, melodrama and a little comedy. All scenes are so skillfully played and skillfully intertwined that in none of them there was a feeling of inappropriateness and over-or under-play.
Unlike the typical grimness and hypertrophied seriousness of the rest of the films in the universe, Wonder Woman turned out to be very colorful and juicy. This is a picture that you do not want to find fault with, has its own unique charm, leaves pleasant impressions and, miracle!, finally, the theatrical version looks amazingly holistic and does not ask for expanded options! In my opinion, this is the most interesting and thoughtful film from the entire universe, naive, but with an abyss of serious thoughts, and towards the end tears come to your eyes.
The storyline does not bring revelation to our everyday life, which is not necessary, but, in fact, impossible.
What is happening can be divided into three parts:
The first part tells about the life of the Amazon princess Diana on the hidden island of Themyscira. Here we are shown her childhood, the process of growing up, mastering combat skills. This part is appropriate, doesn’t seem boring or lengthy, as is usually the case when telling a “children’s” story. And besides, what an amazing visual range, mmm! If the whole film took place in this location, the aesthete in me would die of pleasure.
The impetus for the transition to the second part is the crash of the plane of the British pilot Steve Trevor. His words about a global, inhuman war push Diana to leave the island and go to restore balance (because this is why the Amazons were created).
The second part of the film is an acquaintance of the heroine with the outside world of the early 20s (smoky London contrasts very visually with the paradise island) and the path to war. This very acquaintance is shown very comically and not a little prolonged, and there were no sexist excesses, which I feared and about which again a little later. Getting to the front leads to one of the most spectacular scenes of the film - the liberation of the captured German small town, during which Diana begins to flourish.
It should be noted that in principle, the entire narrative is very consistent and logical, the main character has an absolutely clear and consistent backstory without going into flashbacks and the like. The heroine has a whole idea of the world, but in a kind of idealized form, because of which acquaintance with typical human vices brings her pain and disappointment.
The third part represents my main disorder - the battle with the main villain (there were several of them, we are talking about the last), which in fact visually went into isolation from previous naturalistic shootings, almost completely falling into a gloomy, saturated with graphics and pathetic statements typical DC action. And let the overall impression remained pleasant, but if not for this, I would be completely delighted with the tape. Especially since it was possible to finish the story without it. . .
Another spoonful of tar for an unenlightened character in history can be a complex heap of Greek mythology (gods, Amazons and all that goes along), gray London and the painful entourage of the First World War. Yes, it's all comic books, but not everyone can appreciate it. Moreover, initially, until you get used to the style of narration, the picture seems too fabulous and naive (soon this feeling passes).
And in all this, let there be a morality that says that there is darkness in each of us, which often enough wins, but at the same time each of us has the opportunity to choose the light and that nothing but love will save humanity.
In addition to a simple but quite interesting plot and a beautiful visual range, action deserves special attention. It is not much, but it is impressive: the choreography of fights is excellent, slow motion is appropriate and organic, its balance is selected perfectly and it very successfully emphasizes spectacular moments. And the title track, sounding at the most appropriate moments, adds the savor almost to an exorbitant level. Anyway, it's just wildly spectacular. But at the same time, the important point: the “talk” part of the film is not inferior to the dynamic.
Turning to the characters, I can say that, in my opinion, they almost all succeeded: the “good guys” got a little backstory, the antagonists did not give it, but in their behavior, but there was a classic comic nature, and nothing hints at Diana’s main opponent throughout the film. The chemistry between the main characters looks tangible, on the interaction of which, consider, the whole action is built. Romantic scenes are just great!
You just fall in love with the key character of Wonder Woman, because it is a living and whole person with the right moral principles. This heroine, gentle and warlike, you respect, and her canonical naivety is presented in a very pleasant, slightly ironic form. In a word, a goddess, and that would be her most accurate description. In fact, WW is a great role model for young girls – she is naive and pure, believes in a bright future, fights for it, bold, self-sufficient, sensibly reflecting on the environment – well, is not ideal? . .
Many actresses have claimed the role of Wonder Woman at different times and Gal Gadot is just a stunning hit in the character (yes, she’s not as pumped up as in the comic, but that’s not the point)! Gadot is a very beautiful, stately, strong woman, with an incredible attractive appearance, looking at which you get such pleasure that at some point you forget about the plot and just enjoy it on the screen.
As a result, this is a really interesting thing, the continuation of which (namely, a solo film, not the Justice League) I really hope.

PS: A few more words about the topic of feminism, which could not be passed by the side, given the “history” of the character. Yes, the idea of feminism is present enough, but it is not implanted, it is presented adequately, with a little irony and extremely dosed, in a true, not disfigured by modernity sense (and it hurts me how this subtle and powerful concept was distorted). After all, if one does not know, and many do not know, feminism is not the domination of women over men (it is sexism, if anything), but equality, mutual respect and non-discrimination among men and women. And that's the idea that's perfectly represented in the film.
Who knew that the best film in the DC Cinematic Universe would be 'Wonder Woman'? A film that proves that all is not lost, and that there is still salvation after all failures. And believe me, this tape is not only a real miracle for the company Warner Bros., but without a doubt a great movie for the ordinary viewer, which is not as simple as it may seem at first glance.
The main advantage of the superhero tape Patty Jenkins is made in its title. Yes, this is Wonder Woman herself performed by the most beautiful Gal Gadot. Here everything is done as needed: the main character develops throughout the events, she changes, learns, rethinks herself. Diana’s ideals are fascinating, her pure desire to protect this world makes her empathize fully. Gal Gadot is an example of a real drama. The Israeli became one with her heroine, fully invested in her role and in the emotions that her heroine experienced. And largely thanks to her 'Wonder Woman' conquers the viewer much more, completely involving him in the history of becoming one of the strongest heroines of DC.
The whole tape looks in one breath, although it develops according to fairly standard patterns and follows rather boring and standard clichés. However, Patty Jenkins managed to find the combination of all other details, in which all the plot stupidities and clichés go far into the background, forcing the viewer to primarily enjoy what is happening on the screen, listening to the brilliant musical theme and again admiring the wonderful Gal Gadot. In fact, the picture consists of three large-scale spectacular action scenes, of which the first battle of bullets against arrows is very impressive, and the final one is a little disappointing. And yes, in the end, you can complain about a weak ending that does not meet the bar, which sets the chic rest of the tape, you can complain about excessive slow-mo or another weak antagonist, but this does not spoil the overall picture. 'Wonder Woman' full of great humor, beautiful characters that are hard not to fall in love with, and real entertainment. And all its positive aspects far, far outweigh all the bad that can come to light.
But perhaps a huge asset 'Wonder Woman' lies in something else. 'Wonder Woman' is the kind of superhero that shows why she exists. Diana is the personification of that true superhero who understands that he can do more than ordinary people and tries to save them. And to save not because it is necessary, because the whole universe or everything will perish. Diana saves people because of her faith in humanity, the belief that people should not die and fight for nothing. This ode to pure humanism and love. Let Diana have to be disappointed in people, let people, not Ares, blame for their troubles, and let the heroine go through a heavy realization of the fallacy of her assumptions and some ideals - despite all this, her faith in the best will not disappear anywhere. Diana will understand that people are not perfect, they are not only white or black. Yes, people do their own evil, but this does not mean that they do not deserve salvation. And faith in them, that they deserve to live in peace, will not disappear from all this. After all, for every evil Ludendorff there is always his Steve Trevor, ready to do something while others do nothing.
That's what this tape is worth. It has a soul and there is something really bright that brings some kind of warmth and tranquility. It looks like an ordinary superhero, but it is not. Petty Jenkins managed to present the viewer with a war drama full of humanism and pacifism, which is framed by the story of the Amazons and gods. The viewer, like Diana, never tires of marveling at the horrors of war and trying to understand why this is all. And together with Wonder Woman, he wants it to end, and he wants to once again believe in people, believe that there is something more that is stronger than any evil. It's a decent message, full of purity, in a great tape, after which you will no longer need any Superman. After all, now in any difficult situation, you will be happy to hear the same musical theme, after which you will be sure that now the charming heroine will appear, ready to save humanity for the sake of all the good that it undoubtedly has.
Wonder Woman (Wander waffle) or the first avenger in a skirt.
So that the memories of watching this beautiful, if not fully, then to a greater extent, the film from the DCEU (and this is not at all sarcasm) are fresh.
The review of this picture can be so inflated (the good is something to inflate), but I, of course, will not do this. In short, let me give you my opinion.
We are presented with the original character as it should be. From the little girl Diana, whom her mother tried to protect from battles, war, etc., to the formation of this very girl, to the most that is a warrior (“heart – you can not order”). Who, by chance (called the First World War), will leave her home to go to war, where, fighting for peace, side by side with a mere mortal (the mortal’s name is Stephen Trevor), Wonder Woman realizes the fullness of her power and her true destiny. All this, oddly enough, does not make you bored, but quite the opposite (this is what happens when a woman stands at the helm of the project).
Technical side
Above all praise, the picture; the color palette causes more joy than Marvel’s “Citizen”: starting with the landscapes of Themyscira, or London, during the First World War, everything is pleasing to the eye, and there is no sense of conceit. It is also worth noting the almost reliable transmission of the atmosphere of war - devastation, dirt, fear in the eyes of both ordinary people and soldiers, panic. ..
About members ' squad'
Each character is sufficiently worked out, there is no feeling that someone is superfluous (whether it is the squad of the main heroine or the villain of the picture).
'Incident ' that happened to me at the show. (' Lyrics' for the sake of )
At one of the moments, I will not say at which, in order not to spoil (those who watched - guess and so), - a couple of girls sitting next to me - let down a tear, and not a stingy male, but in a literal sense, as from a horn of abundance, accompanying this action with the slap of noses (or they just opened spitting). But I hope that they still cried (sounds more noble, and the moment was the right one), in truth, I almost rushed to console them, it’s good that I changed my mind.
To summarize, Wonder Woman is the best of the DCEU to date.
10 out of 10
Here, finally, the DC Universe got to its mythological stories and characters, presenting its analogue of Thor - only in... well not a skirt for sure! In combat Amazonian costume, which for all its severity did not spoil, but, on the contrary, somehow elegantly complemented the figure of the actress.
The interesting construction of the plot is noticeable from the very beginning, fragments of the childhood of our heroine are shown briefly, but completely, there are no scraps and inefficiencies, as often happens. Against the backdrop of beautiful landscapes, it is a pleasure to watch the training of charming warriors, and the pretty girl who played Diana as a child was just perfect for her role.
The contrast of the green island and gray smoky London, living Amazons and gloomy politicians fell to my liking, besides, these two worlds were perfectly fastened by Diana herself not only with her ridiculous ridiculous actions, but also with reasonable actions, gradually delving into people’s lives. Some will say that it adapted too quickly, but it is so clear from the first shots that this Amazon is far from stupid. And we are repeatedly told that in Themisquiria (its native island) they know about men and about the outside world in general, albeit in general terms.
Graphics did not cease to delight the whole film, drawing pictures of war, destruction, and magic. By the way, superpowers were introduced quite moderately and they were used not so cheatly, which is nice - the war was not turned into a battle of superheroes, but showed the suffering of ordinary soldiers, their battles.
A little confused by the reaction of friends of Steve (the main character) to the superpowers of Diana: at first they somehow do not show much surprise, and her jump 10 meters comment simply ' well, your girlfriend'. Apparently, some long surprised misunderstandings decided not to spend screen time.
In my opinion, the actress herself got used to the role well and played confidently and believably. Processed movements and quite sincere emotions add several advantages to this picture.
However, if I have no complaints about graphics, acting, very good soundtrack and high-quality camera work, then certain moments of the plot still make me find fault.
Only for the sake of the drama of the plot at the very beginning of the film, the Amazons suffered sacrifices, because they could shoot enemies from long distances, while not sticking out. Only for the sake of epic plot were such powerful gods as Zeus and Ares introduced, but usually their power is so great that they are simply invincible and are associated with the Creators.
But anyway, the minor details that I personally may be unhappy with do not spoil the typical scenes of rescue and heroism for superhero films, nor the unique moments that the image of the Amazon brings.
Talking about a connection between feminism and painting just surprises me. The life of the Amazons is taken from history, then mixed with magic and fantasy. We are not trying to show or impose the image of a modern girl, before us - a representative of their culture and their world order.
As a result, in the DC Cinematic Universe, another character appeared, which, in the literal sense of the word, is pleasant to watch. Waiting for the League!
Sitting down for a revue of Wonder Woman, the first thing I thought about was how to avoid that nauseating, and often inappropriate, "F" word that is increasingly consumed by modern society. No, don't think about it, I have nothing against him, just we're here talking for the movie, not for someone's rights.
But the good news is that DC has managed to turn the most inconspicuous film in the universe, which smelled like an independent woman, into a harmless trifle, similar to your first kiss: clumsy but sincere, performed technically poorly, but leaving no nasty aftertaste.
Diana Prince first appeared on the pages of DC comics in 1941. She immediately caught the attention of readers with her strength, beauty, and sincere desire to make this world a better place. This is exactly what Patty Jenkins decided to focus on, a woman who managed to disfigure at the time. Charlize Theron, and help her win her first acting Oscar for her role in Monster. To align the viewer with the heroine Gal Gadot, Jenkins rather quickly sends her on a journey to the front of the First World War, where suffering, murder, betrayal, and other things that Diana never faced, but only heard.
And indeed, thanks to a quick beginning, competently detailed locations, kept in one key, and a decent amount of time telling about the horror of war, Jenkins is able not only to add the integrity of his story, but also to achieve the development of the character Prince, who is at first puzzled by everything that is happening, but with each new projectile bursting near her, she begins to realize what is happening around her. In general, storytelling pictures can be divided into three, quite template for the genre parts: 1. Acquaintance with the main characters, and the designation of their ideas and life principles; 2. Testing for strength, and sentimental-love rapprochement of actors; 3. Catharsis between the main characters, a review of their own priorities and views of the world, and a tearful ending. All these standard tricks do not deserve judgmental views towards Jenkins and the company, because they are quite tolerable. The story is not overloaded with heroes, the plot twists and turns do not go beyond the basic idea (war is a terrible thing, and people who fight even more terrible), and the message looks curious and multifaceted (even the Gods are able to understand that the war is not to blame one person, but all those who participate in it, and do not want to compromise).
The obvious disadvantages in the picture are also in abundance. Given the genre inexperience of Ms. Jenkins, the action in the film is simply terrible. Bad graphics, pulling a million 60 maximum (and they say that the budget of the film 150 million), catches the eye not only due to its clumsy performance, but also because of too ragged editing, and poorly staged fighting game. Of course, things are much better here than in the notorious Batman v Superman, but this is a plus, because we primarily evaluate the film as an independent product. The third act, or rather the final battle, is similar to the nightmare of an animator, and its absence would only benefit the picture. Villains, despite the similarity with Marvel products of the first phase, prosaic, spineless, and pay attention to them do not want.
But who really deserves the audience’s attention and praise, is Gal Gadot – Miss Israel 2004, debuted on the big screen in the fourth part of “Fast and Furious”. Its stateliness, texture, and cosmic charm are not enough to overshadow the lack of acting talent, but in some ages, external data is enough to become the best casting decision DC ever. She is clean, simple-hearted, and a smile and cute squeezes on the machine dispose of the viewer. Of course, most likely she will not get much screen time in the upcoming “Justice League”, but her presence in the frame will definitely add color to the future Warner team-up.
The quality of Wonder Woman is quite controversial. On the one hand, the ease of presentation, the pleasant cast, and the non-stupid message relevant to the modern world do their job, and the film will smile holistically. And on the other hand, the terrible technical component, excessive sweetness, and inappropriate, sometimes vulgar jokes, completely kill all the pluses. That's why I'm not going to recommend the film to anyone, because it's only 50-50. So the viewer will have to decide whether to spend time and money on this film, just as Diana Prince has to figure out for herself whether to fight for those who are fighting against themselves.
6 out of 10
I would like to start with the fact that 'Wonder Woman' is a great movie. Hear that? Listen. Take it.Remember Let's move on.
For a long time on the screens did not come back stories of heroes. And we really missed that. Personally, for me, it is the backstory that most sinks into the soul than sequels, etc. We understand the characters, understand them, study them. Of course Marvel we are stuffed with backstory every two or three years, but here ... DC does it even less often (much less often), but here the bar was set at a height. I have not seen such well-designed backstory since the days of the First Avenger & #39;.
For 2.5 hours we were shown science fiction/war film/drama. And all these genres simultaneously harmonize 100%, keep the viewer interested and waiting for what will happen next.
The story of Diana's formation was revealed completely from and up to 101%. Her motivation and love story were also revealed. I wonder what was going on between CJ and BPS? I hope that in the future we will be given answers, or even a whole sequel.
Gal also managed 100%, showing both the bravery of the Amazon princess and the naivety of the savage in the XX century. The hero of Chris Pine very charismatically fit into what is happening, wonderfully playing first love ' Iron Lady DC' however, not many, reminded just ' First Avenger'. Judge for yourself: Chris Evans-Chris Pine, Steve Rogers (military)-Steve Trevor (military).
The effects are high. Twenty-first century. Music is interesting, to the place and time, at certain moments, really immersing in the necessary atmosphere.
Do I expect ' Justice League' after this? Of course! (as well as their future projects) And my interest just grew! Given what I am more than certain, DC is listening not only to complaints and criticism, but also to praise, showing them that they are on the right track. And I'm more than sure that against the backdrop of such success, the future-closest 'Spider-Man. Homecoming' will receive less positive reviews, and the upcoming 'Black Panther' will have oooooooo try
“Wonder Woman” is the first film in a long time, which reminds that comic books have almost stopped making movies. Try, but usually get expensive video clips with big budgets, high-ranking stars and mind-blowing special effects. At the same time, behind all the tinsel of computer effects and the brilliance of latex costumes lies the complete absence of a whole story, a good script and elementary drama, and the chemistry between the actors is replaced by an abundance of superheroes flashing on the screen, the very appearance of which in the frame should cause a state of ecstasy in the audience. The release in the DC universe of “Wonder Woman” and the success of this film, both audiences and film critics – a real hope that the modern comic film can grow into something more than an expensive conveyor of the same type of tapes without their own face and soul. "Logan" was the first ray of that hope in five years, 'Wonder Woman' - the second.
Hidden in the waters of the Mediterranean, the island of Themyscira has been inhabited for thousands of years by the Amazons, created by the Olympian gods to protect the world of people. Among them is Princess Diana, daughter of Amazon Queen Hippolyta. When American pilot Steve Trevor hits the island, the warriors learn about the grandiose military conflict that unfolded behind the remakes of Themyscira, which would later become known as World War I. They refuse to intervene in the global slaughter, but Diana believes that the world war is the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy about the rebellion of the Greek god of war Ares, who will begin his seizure of power over the world, causing people to kill each other en masse. Diana secretly goes to war with the pilot in order to destroy the sworn enemy of the Amazons Ares with the help of the legendary sword “Killer of the Gods”, which she prudently steals from the citadel from her native island.
Without an exquisite script and a cunningly twisted plot, the film could have been a failure if not for a real team of masters who turned an absolutely straightforward and simple story like two fingers into an exciting, hurricane action movie, in the center of which the beautiful Amazon princess Diana Prince, a girl with an absolutely childish perception of the world, and her encounter with the cruelty of people.
The main advantage of the picture is that the creators perfectly caught: the viewer must feel in the characters understandable feelings and emotions. He's not interested in a latex person by himself, nor are people with superpowers. Superheroes are able to truly conquer when they are seen as living people with feelings, emotions, a certain value system. When watching a movie is able to relate their beliefs to the values of the hero, understand and feel them, then it makes him sincerely empathize with what is happening on the screen. The beliefs of the main character are simple to the point of ugliness: peace, love, the eradication of war and cruelty. These are basic things that everyone understands from infancy, but over time as if covered with a layer of dust from the indifference and cynicism reigning around. And it is this childish naivety, coupled with incredible abilities and truly beautiful appearance, that turn the main character into an unusually attractive character. The second element necessary for any good story is conflict. The trouble of previous DC films and, to a lesser extent, Marvel films was that the conflict was invented from scratch, lay outside the plane of feelings or values, was built purely on internecine quarrels between heroes who were quite far from the viewer. Wonder Woman is different. A sincere believer in the good girl sees the horrors of war, mass murder, lies, deception, self-interest and cynicism. There is a strong dissonance between the inner world of the heroine and the outside world. Attempts to attribute everything to an abstract evil will not succeed, because, as it turns out, the god of war is only able to advise and suggest thoughts, but not to induce action, and war itself is only a product of human ambition.
There is a woman’s hand in the film. Patty Jenkins does not forget that cinema must conquer the minds, or the souls of the audience, or both. Where other directors prefer to cram timekeeping with a grinding action, Jenkins offers the opportunity to enjoy the real chemistry between the actors and, as a result, their characters, which is sorely lacking in most comic book films. Where most directors force the characters to measure their coolness and say pathetic lines, Jenkins makes his character scream in pain and despair. At the same time, the director does not turn the film into a tragedy, but skillfully keeps the balance between the comedy and the dramatic component. The film is not devoid of the characteristic genre of pathos, but this pathos is not sugary.
All this makes Wonder Woman not only interesting, but also incredibly moving film. The heroine’s abilities only add a special flavor to the story, because everyone at least once dreamed of getting a force that will stop all wars, punish all villains and end injustice. The film does the incredible: for all its simplicity and frivolity, it penetrates into the soul and for a short moment gives everyone hope and faith that someday this world will become a paradise on earth filled with love and goodness. “Wonder Woman” was the perfect way to clearly convey to the audience the famous message – “Make love not war”. Desperate to defeat evil and establish peace in the world, Diana concludes that the main thing is to remain human and believe that love always wins.
Wonder Woman is a sincere, uncomplicated, ironic, naive and incredibly touching fairy tale in which good necessarily conquers evil, which is designed to forget about the difficulties of life for at least two and a half hours and believe that love and kindness are really able to defeat all the bad in this world. The creators do not try to deceive the viewer, passing out a simple and largely banal film as an epic with a deep philosophy and complex characters. In Wonder Woman, everything lies on the surface, the characters are simple as in any fairy tale, and their actions are always determined by the concepts of “good” and “bad”. But this honesty and simplicity go to the movie, where the main character just fights for all the good, and also put this film two levels above most of the comic books released in recent years, where no less simple and obvious messages are presented with such pathos, as if they reveal the truth of life, previously hidden from everyone. Perhaps it is such kind and naive films about superheroes who always defeat evil and directly say “Love each other!” so much lack the current cinema.

There are a number of positives in the picture, but there are also things that I did not like. In my opinion, the positive aspects here are very good secondary characters. Chris Pine played on hurrah, against his background, some Diana looks very gray. Dr. Yad and General von Ludendorff were very organic. In general, the whole picture of the First World War looks good, the scenes are impressive, especially the costumes of the Kaiser army. But the whole story of Diana is a sluggish defect, starring a completely ugly actress Gal Gadot, with a disgusting hairstyle in the form of a so tightly braided braid that the skin on her face stretched. Mrs. Gadot is not an actress at all, on a triple with a minus.
As a result, the main character did not pull the film, he leaves at the expense of secondary characters.
Wonder Woman is a romantic and a good fairy tale about a woman with superpowers.
I haven’t seen a movie in a long time where I didn’t feel dissatisfied with what I saw.
A kind, honest and instructive tale about heroes whose intentions and actions are sincere and honest, that you can not even argue with them.
The formation of the main character, her path from a little girl to a warrior - embodied flawlessly! Just take my word for it, I'm still impressed. (oh, this bachelor life), (if I like only adult heroines) I'm kidding of course!
But! Gal Gadot is beautiful in all angles and manifestations that it is the kind of girls I want to see on the big screen, period!
God! How she plays... How enchanting she looks at those who give her faith in herself and in herself. Decent, true to her principles, kind, sweet, militant, um, she just drives you crazy! Words can't describe it! Her character and perseverance can envy even the most brutal man on the planet.
Speaking of men! Steve Travor, played by Chris Pine, is a worthy boy of a goddess girl. To some extent, I envy him, but kindly. Although Steve does not have super-powers, he easily goes into battle for ordinary people, he is always ready to help and lend a helping hand to anyone who shares his views for world peace. I won’t go into all the details, but I would like the character, Steve Trevor, to meet his beloved again and finally propose to her.
Love in the film is so closely intertwined with humor and the desire of the actors, first of all, to help the whole world. In my opinion, this is done so that we stop being selfish and pay decent attention to those with whom we really want to be and go to the end of life. And also did not suffer from fanaticism and blind desire for carnal pleasures, thought about the future of the whole society and about their descendants.
About feminism. I didn't quite understand the public's outrage. Why can't a woman be strong? Nature has given her what she is. Equally, the equality of the sexes is considered from the point of view of the destiny of man according to his possibilities. I have not seen any infringement of the rights of men or women. Except for one scene, which is most likely served for intrigue and the fact that men are overconfident.
The script of the film is very harmoniously composed: in moderation - serious, humorous, pathetic, epic, dynamic, soulful, instructive, sometimes even secret. That's why the movie's gonna be Hurrah! It's for the general public. And everyone will find their own.
From the nuances: well, perhaps the main villain did not convince me, he seemed too kind in appearance. Comp. graphics, if you look closely, creates a feeling of excessive color noise of the picture and a slight blur, but this is extremely rare. Maybe for someone the scenario will be shallow: where there will be no multi-movements, but only a direct road to its goal. But I said, is that bad? If the road itself to the goal is well arranged and brought to mind? 'Not so important is the goal achieved as the path traversed by eternity to it' (c)
For the rest, I recommend watching! Guys, don't get too excited! A movie for everyone!
The DC Cinematic Universe finally gets what it needs to boost its appeal in a superhero environment - the appearance of a woman in the form of a solo picture with a representative of the fair sex in the title role. That wasn’t even true in Marvel. After the deadly-serious Man of Steel, the unwieldy and super-epic Batman v Superman: At the dawn of justice, the grimly-drive and utterly goofy Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman shoots brightly, saving DC from a deep pit of cinematic flops. However, he is the best among the others, but this does not mean that he has a high score.
As usual, it makes sense for filmmakers to spend the first hour or almost a third making something different, but not a superhero movie. The film begins as a fantastic film about the ancient Greeks (or rather Amazons) - we see the main character first as a child, a teenager, and then a young woman Diana. We learn how much she admires her aunt General Antiope (Robin Wright) and how her mother, Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen), tries to protect her from her destiny. For the time being, everything that happens looks patterned and picturesque until the plane of Steve Trevor in distress hits the island. He is an American spy who brought violence to the island that has not known him for thousands of years. Diana, along with him, leaves her secluded Amazonian life to throw herself into 1918, engulfed by the First World War. Mythological themes are replaced by military ones.
Then things slow down, Steve and Diana sneak into London, where he works as a spy and for the British government. The world is in chaos. Diana decides that she must go where the most brutal battles are fought, and this is due to Steve's plan to prevent the launch of a terrible military gas against Allied troops. At the same time, Diana wants to find Ares, the god of war, which, in her opinion, is behind everything that happens.
This plot is not particularly interesting, sometimes absolutely stupid, even the fifth Pirates in some places seem more logical. Had it not been for Gadot’s magnetism, the film would have been largely wasted. She dazzles in every scene she appears in, even those moments when Pine, who is known for his charisma, is with her. It distracts attention from his poor performance and it helps keep the film going. Actors in the second roles are interesting, but absolutely trivial. Especially unimpressive is David Thewlis, who is simply stupid for his role, although it is absolutely not his fault.
Therefore, all attention is paid to Diana, who slowly learns to navigate the world of humanity and its various complexities - political, social, sexual. Gadot fills Diana with curiosity and naivety, which is charming and disarming, while not reducing his sense of warrior.
In the final act there is another change of genre: from the brutal reality of war to the more traditional superhero battle - the confrontation of good against evil for the salvation of mankind. This is not one of those films that absorb the viewer in the glory of her determination to save our abode. Since all this is played out against the background of mythology, her goal to defeat the god of war Ares is too weak a motive. And when Diana switches to a commitment to "all we need is love," it borders on absurdity.
"Wonder Woman" is still a good entertaining film with its atmosphere and backstory. Director Patty Jenkins (symbolically, the film was directed by a woman) is doing everything possible to raise issues of gender politics, making one of the best DC films in recent years. It's wonderful to have a female actor in their arsenal and the ensuing justly deserved solo project. Thanks to the Israeli Gadot, her Amazon character is impressive, but next time she needs a stronger story, a more romantic constellation and a better villain for battle.
The film is worth watching because of the strong music.
A very decent sound track from the beginning to the end of the film fills and holds attention, strengthening the impression of the film.
We have to forgive a weak plot, templates for such films messages and special effects.
Despite the absence of bookmarks at the end of the film for the continuation, I think this film will pay off the budget and will continue in more than one part.
It is funny to realize that the belief in the DC Cinematic Universe was revived by the film about Wonder Woman, which is one of the most “non-pop” characters of the Justice League. After the unjustified hopes of pathetic 'Batman vs. Superman' and frankly stupid 'Suicide Squad' Warner's finally got a worthy representative from his movie universe. Yes, not without sins, but it can be called a huge success. And now everyone is tormented by the question, will this film give a boost to a bright future or was it just a bright moment of happiness, before the next failed projects?
Wonder Woman deserves her assessments because the plot is more or less thought out, the characters are well written and each of them has motivation (even the secondary characters). They don’t do what they shouldn’t do, they don’t shout silly phrases (like ' We’re a family'). Each character has a reason to be in this war and they believe that they want to stop it and that they empathize with it. There are no stupid, unjustified heroic speeches, characters do not seek fame. And the war is shown very well in the film. Especially the First World, which recently in the cinema you will not often meet. Surprisingly, the strongest part of the film is the middle, where all the horrors of war are revealed.
Of the minuses, it is worth highlighting a slightly boring beginning and ' typical' the ending of the DC film, where there is a battle under the cover of night with a bunch of CGI. Well, the main villain is completely uninteresting (but at least he has motivation).
At the moment Wonder Woman is a real success for DC. And I want to believe that this film is not a pure accident, and thoughtful work on the mistakes that the creators have done after the previous two failures.

You know, I liked it. This is the case when it is well removed and well played. I don’t like war in almost any way. Only here the war as such was not the main thing, it was important only as a phenomenon. And the main character was also important - the heroine, not the girlfriend of the main character. In this movie, the opposite is true.
Gal Gadot wants to mention in the first lines. She's really amazingly well suited for her role. She plays equally well and naive belief in all good against all bad, and the first real emotions and feelings grown in greenhouse conditions Diana, and the righteous anger of the heroine, and her determination. Gal is beautiful both in the heroine’s armor and in dresses, so it is possible to believe that she is the most beautiful woman. And I also want to note that she is an actress with very expressive eyes. There's so much in them! They have a lot of pure emotions of the heroine, emotions are often almost childish, but then the emotions of adults, when it becomes clear that the world is not black and white. Eyes sometimes speak more than words, and in many moments they do.
The story turned out to be really interesting. And this story is built on contrasts so that the viewer, like Diana, felt the difference between a just paradise island and our world: gray, cold, cruel. It seems that in our world the sun does not shine at all. At some point, it may seem that the story of Diana’s life on the island is a little long, but at the same moment an event occurs that leads to the development of the action. So we can say with complete confidence that there is nothing superfluous in history. Sufficiently concise and as informative as possible shows the childhood and maturation of the heroine, briefly told the rules of the world in which Diana lives. His training is no less brief. The episodes shown are also emotionally charged, so the viewer quickly understands who is who on this island, to whom Diana is attached, what she is ready to fight for. This part of the story is not too short, but not too long, so the feeling of crumpledness of the first or second part of the film does not arise.
The second part of the picture, to which the action passes quite smoothly, is devoted to the worst that can happen between people - war. This is what can sober and teach the life of any idealist and dreamer. This part of history is built in gray, cold tones, and even the “magic” that takes place is nothing more than snow, which can only hide the consequences of war, cover the Earth frozen in stupor, but not save it. The director boldly shows us people as they are: cynical, indifferent, far from perfect. Diana in this story is like the voiced thoughts of many, many of us who are used to silence, only she does not have this habit. Involuntarily, the heroine becomes the voice of conscience, she says and does things that people usually cannot dare to do because they are afraid of the consequences. Whether she is doing the right thing is the tenth, it is important that her appeals to conscience in any case simply cannot but leave a trace in the souls of those to whom they are addressed.
The war with its terrible grin is shown here locally. In the words of the heroes, millions and millions of victims are heard, but we see local tragedies caused by the war. Diana, unlike many, does not pose the question of what is more important: the fate of a hundred people or a thousand, she cares about the fate of each, thereby this heroine awakens in people long forgotten courage and lost hope. She is influenced by what she sees: the wounded, the dead, the people who have lost faith in the future are the living dead. The film is shot bloodlessly, but shown on the screen these fates lead to no less horror and the viewer. There is no pathos in war, there is only trouble, tragedy, death.
And the war has a face, and the truth has a rock. This is a German chemist. Very interesting visual image. A young modest woman, but who for unspoken reasons lost her attractiveness, is engaged in science. Only in the case of this heroine, science is not the raison d’être of her existence at all, she is angry in her own nature, like a snake, and her speech (at least in the Russian version) is like hissing. On the other hand, there is mania in her everyday behavior, but there is nothing directly aggressive. It is cold, and it goes to the goal, not for anything, but for the purpose. To some extent, she can be considered the opposite of Diana, and this is ironic: Diana with a sword fights for peace, killing enemies with her hand, strong and confident, and this doctor is fragile and defenseless, does not kill anyone herself, but fights for war and death, quietly doing her terrible work.
Of course, as in the film about the heroine there is no love story! I must say that Steve here is not just a pretty soldier, but a brave and intelligent person, which open and honest Diana feels. With Diana, they make a doomed couple, just by feeling, where everyone lives like the last minute, which only aggravates their feelings. And Steve is very human, he prefers to act deliberately, often acts in part cynical, which is not typical of Diana.
The finale is set beautifully and well, it consists of several scenes and several heroes, the events develop in parallel, influencing each other. In the finale, I thought that otherwise this film could not end. He showed a certain superiority of nature over the supernatural, whether it is good or bad. The main storylines are completed as soon as they can be completed without breaking logic, regardless of what the viewer would like. And more importantly, the action of this story takes place during the First World War. Everyone in the audience knows the terrible history of the twentieth century, and this knowledge only reinforces the conclusion that the heroine asks for, and makes in the finale of the film. People are free in their manifestations.
Now for a few shortcomings. This time, surprisingly, everything is fine with the plot, with the acting, with the characters, in general, with the design. The disadvantages are very small: sometimes the movements of the heroine in battles look implausible; somehow she changes normal clothes to her mini-armor very spontaneously. But that's it. No more flaws!
A very high-quality picture, not leaving after watching a thousand “why”. On the screen brought a really strong and interesting heroine, not empty, with history. The film makes an emotional impression. I really liked it.
I’m one of the few people who’ve seen all three of DC’s previous films (two of which I’ve already reviewed) and I’m excited to finally have a film that appealed to critics and audiences alike. The film does not make a revolution of the genre, but there are a couple of interesting finds. There is something to be surprised about.
It is amazing how the war was shown. Quite an unusual move that chose the First World War, not the Second, and that it does not seem that the war was won only by the Americans, you will not hear any pretentious speeches about the greatness of the nation either. And all the soldiers here are English. The horrors of war are allotted a lot of time here, Diana has to get acquainted with the cruelty and mores ' the world of people' see what they are capable of, fight side by side with other soldiers. Everybody's equal here. No one likes this war, and even the Germans who are fighting in this film don’t seem to be the culprits and villains that filmmakers love to portray them. In her pacifist and emotional speeches, Diana does not understand why there is so much anger in this world. We are made clear that war is bad. It is dedicated to the fans.
The jewel in the film is, of course, the charming Gal Gadot - she is also Wonder Woman. Fears that once were about the choice of the actress, not justified, the image of the heroine is delighted. The idea of starring a female superhero looks new. Beautiful facial features and a wonderful smile will not leave anyone indifferent (men certainly), and her literally and figuratively divine appearance unusually contrasts with the gray human world mired in war. It looks very unusual. But without humor anywhere, there are funny moments in which Diana is more fond than funny.
It did not work out, frankly, with antagonists, of which there are even several, but they are all ordinary and do not stand out. A typical problem of superhero movies, especially Marvel. All motives are prosaic, and the images fade, and the final showdowns seem to save special effects. It does not look spectacular when in the dark on an open area, where there is no place to catch the eye, Wonder Woman is beating with an uninteresting villain. You see, what's missing is our biggest gloom-lover and great action shooter, Zack Snyder. Well, let it be in the dark, but it would be better in the old-fashioned way to destroy a couple of skyscrapers, seriously.
But it is unlikely that anything can spoil the image of Wonder Woman and the chemistry of contrasts of the mythical Themyscira and gray London. Undoubtedly, all this is the merit of a woman with her vision of the world. No, not Wonder Woman, but the director.

After the defeat of the critics of “At the Dawn of Justice” and “Suicide Squad” on “Wonder Woman” was placed great hopes, I really wanted DC to have a movie that finally will please the eternally dissatisfied (and in business, and no) critics, and that the audience is also not disappointed. Going to the film, I was already aware of the good reviews and I was very happy about it, because I was waiting for this film with interest, I liked the appearance of the Wonder of a Woman in the film “At the Dawn of Justice” and it was very interesting to see the origin story of the Amazon princess – Diana.
According to the plot of the film, Diana is an Amazon princess who grew up on a paradise island hidden from the eyes of people, together with Steve Trevor, a spy who got to this island, she goes to the outside world, where there is a war, there Diana will learn about her purpose and her capabilities.
After watching the film, I came to the conclusion that it was a good, interesting movie with an incredibly beautiful heroine, which turned out to be charismatic, bright, decisive, but at the same time vulnerable, naive, touching. I liked that the movie turned out to be whole and some events in the film smoothly passed into others, without sagging, any distractions, well, that's just clearly and on the case. If we consider the plot itself, then in places it was predictable, and in places and not, the fact that Diana fought during the First World War looked cool, but also a little strange (although this is not a historical movie), but this was the essence of showing how powerful Wonder Woman has, and how she is eager to protect innocent people.
The actors. Gal Gadot, Diana - Wonder Woman, I'm thrilled with her heroine - it's the "star hour" Gadot, she played perfectly, it is clear that she took the role seriously and in the image she looked convincing. Chris Pine, Steve Trevor, he convinces Diana to go with him to prevent a catastrophe that could kill millions of people, Pine played a brave guy, with his morality and desire to stop the enemy, paired with Gadot looked harmonious. Robin Wright, General Antiope, she taught Diana to fight since childhood, an interesting heroine turned out. Connie Nielsen, Queen Hippolyta, Diana’s mother, it was great to see this actress because I haven’t seen her anywhere since Gladiator.
In general, the movie "Wonder Woman" turned out to be boring, dynamic, diluted with good humor, with a bright heroine, a well-built development of events, excellent special effects and personally I am very glad that DC turned out a worthy solo film about a superhero - a woman.
