5 years ago, in the spring of 2017, the series “Filfax” was released on the TNT channel. In recent years, viewers of this channel have been lucky to witness a number of such series, and for the most part they enjoyed considerable success with the public. It would seem that “Filfax” had to suffer a similar fate, especially since its creators had been pretty good at creating similar sitcoms – “Physruk”, “Real Boys”, etc. But this time, something seems to have gone wrong.
Generally speaking, writing reviews of series is an a priori ungrateful activity. Especially on TV shows coming out on TNT. It is, as they say, a special genre, a separate kind of art. But I will try in two words to express my impressions of the series.
First of all, I think I liked the series. Of course, I am never Kirill Razlogov and I am not going to analyze Filfax from the point of view of high cinematic concepts. And, as for me, such series in principle do not lend themselves to such analysis. If we talk on a large, or Hamburg count, we can recall how Nikolai Dobrolyubov praised Fyodor Dostoevsky’s “The Humiliated and Humiliated”: “Below aesthetic criticism.” This sentence, in general, is quite appropriate here. But, on the other hand, if you do not get smart, do not try on the role of a high-browed intellectual and a prude, then in fact, "Filfak" is not so bad at all.
Judging by the reviews and television ratings, the series did not go to people, as a result of which the first season was crumpled, and the planned second still did not come out, and, apparently, will not come out. By the way, in early February, the second season of “Girls with Makarov” was released on TNT – a good series, but by no means outstanding. In any case, it is a mystery to me how he is better than Filfack.
It is clear that there is no dispute about tastes, but I do not quite understand why Filfax did not like the audience. I personally have the opposite – in my ranking of TNTash series, Filfax confidently shares the first place with Interns.
If you do not approach “Filfak” with the standards of “The Godfather” or even “Escaped Bride”, and consider it purely in the context of such film masterpieces, then, again, I did not notice any special flaws in him. Perhaps because his subject matter is very close to me as a person close to literature and a lifelong former, if not quite downtrodden botanist, then very reflective young man, not very popular among women.
If we talk about the advantages of the series, then, I think, at least three:
1. Nice casting. I am not a fan of Sasha Bortich or even Efim Shifrin, but they played quite decently in Filfak, to my taste. And in general, I can not say that any of the actors of the series, as they say, fell out of the ensemble. It is clear that it is difficult to turn around and show special talents on such a meager material, but I would not blame someone for an openly bad game.
2. Humor. Many people did not like the humor in “Filfak” – “dumb”, “primitive”, “template” and so on. I don’t know, for my taste, Filfak is full of pretty funny scenes and very witty humor, especially in the first series.
3. Music. In "Filfak", among other things, it is worth highlighting a good musical design, starting with the screensaver on which the Hey girl of The Bumps sounds, and the musical inserts during the series I liked.
What are the main claims against “Filfac”? The main thing is a trivial, ordinary plot, template heroes, bad acting, a lot of absurdities, the distance shown on the screen from the everyday life of a real philfak. This list of invectives to the address of the series and its creators can be continued ad infinitum. According to the plot, you can probably agree - the plot here clearly does not shine with originality. Battered love affairs and clichéd characters do take place, which somewhat reduces the interest in viewing. But it seems to me that when evaluating such series, it is necessary to rely not on the minuses, but on the advantages that Filfac has. Yeah, it's a little humour, but it doesn't bother me. Well, maybe in the first series, the case with lactation was superfluous, but no more. The fact that the on-screen philology department is not an attack on the real almost from the word "very much" - so, at least, you can read in the comments of real philology students, in my opinion, is forgivable. After all, in Interns, the hospital has little in common with a real hospital, and in Girls with Makarov, the police department is terribly far from authentic samples. But that's not the point. The main criterion, in my opinion, is whether this or that work catches or not. I was hooked, it was interesting to watch, and in places it was very fun. Well, different little things like notes at the end of series or quotes from poems also, as for me, play more positive. It is no secret that the main audience of TNT is young people, and, as it seems, not the most cultured and educated. "Filfax", for all its vulgarity, which is an integral attribute of such series, still slightly rises above the average level of modern youth series. This, however you may say, is still not “Real boys”, but a slightly different knee. Maybe someone has found something new and interesting. Not everyone, let’s be frank, knows who Beatrice, William Burroughs or even more so Alexander Afanasievich Potebnya, although it is probably a shame not to know Shakespeare. So I would consider the educational function as well.
If we sum up, we can say that even by the standards of TNT "Filfax" is not the best series. Or, to put it another way, not the best possible. The idea was not bad, just to implement it could be a little different, a little less primitive. But I still have more positive impressions, and it is a pity that the second season never came out. For those who haven’t seen the first one, I recommend you see that you won’t lose anything.
Make a movie or go back to the Institute of Idiots
Another cliché in the title or an attempt to show us a different reality. This is how you can describe this creation. The authors again delved into the topic of teenage relationships and sex. Alas, they got oil again. You would think that the TV series uni and physical assistant were not about the same thing. But not the point. Honestly, you get tired of the monotony of ideas. Why couldn’t the authors make a TV series or movie like The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, a boy genius, Hey, Arnold, Ginger says. What's the big deal?
I agree with those who say why it is impossible to show different faculties competing for the title of the best. That's really why they don't film it. Or about a guy and a girl who study at different faculties and at the same time families feud. They seem to support the image, but they love each other. It would be a good interpretation of Romeo and Juliet in a modern way. Or the desire of a person to create something new, but he is under the yoke of his fellow students. This all happens in real life.
Unfortunately, the sexual fantasies of the directors do not allow us to do this. Instead of a nerd, a major, and a loser working and learning properly. We are shown a circus with horses and fireworks. The most annoying attempts of all three to get acquainted with the first beauty of the faculty (who already has a boyfriend). Of course I'm not excited about Bortnich. She's beautiful, but her play makes you think she came from another planet. There are three of them.
Honestly, I'm sick and tired of these stereotypes about full-breasted beauties. Girls are different. Among them are beautiful, ugly, clever, modest. In general, different people exist. And all of them are beautiful. And the guys are either businessmen, losers, or stereotypical Caucasians. Okay, I've overdone the male category. And yet, when I studied ten years ago. We didn't have guys like that who were obsessive, who were hunting women instead of studying. He's lucky. And if a man was arrogant, he would be punished. Either teachers or fellow students themselves. But we were all good. It does not matter what nationality or religion.
In my opinion, the authors do not communicate with ordinary people at all. However, they try to make films on any topic even without really understanding it.
Advertising! That's what can make you-know-what candy. It was because of the advertising of the TV series “Filfax” on one of the local radio, which flirtatiously urged to watch this series, that I began, in fact, watching it. And the ad read: if you don’t want to spend your whole life talking in the “cafe”, “rings” etc. watch a new comedy series on TNT. Yes, I repent, I fell for it, given my indifference to the great and powerful. I was curious - I watched the first series - I was sad.
Characters and actors. No charismatic personality. None. I don’t want to feel the love triangle. Dima (Denis Paramonov) — Lena (Alexandra Bortich) — Nadia (Polina Pushkaruk). It is not interesting to follow the attempts of the hero Alexei Zolotovitsky to satisfy animal instincts. Not catching even inserting “smart and type of timely said” phrases Babin (Vasily Pospelov). The game is not saved by Efim Shifrin. The rest of the list makes no sense. As a result, the creators focused on “new faces”, and, as I think, picked up the actors poorly.
Weak scenario. I'm not talking about the novelty of history.
Sound. Is he even there? I remember the Bumps song "Hey Girl".
The only thing you can praise the series for is the feature with notes to the series. Just what is it? Attempts to expand the horizons of the target audience, consisting mostly of the likes of Kolyan from "Real Boys"? Are you interested in reading more? Well, I don't know...
About how to ruin the logic of the series, and a little about the acting game.
The show "Filfax" promised to be interesting. Bright screensaver, winding music, an unusual setting for comedy is the philological faculty of the Institute. I do not study philological, and I will not judge the jokes of this work, the main bias of which is literature, I want to scold the logic of the creators and a little acting.
The series tells about life at the Faculty of Philology, where hundreds of girls and three guys study - in combination the main characters of "Filfac". Misha is an excellent student, a neat boy and an avid romantic, Zhenya is a concerned virgin and a sharp intellectual, and Roma has come to the philfaculty for ideas to create his computer game.
So, of course, the creators immediately throw the viewer a love line, here - a love triangle, gradually turning into something more. And immediately begins to irritate the main character ... He settles the girl he is in love with in his apartment, allows himself to yell at himself in his apartment and at the height of stupidity - allows her to bring her rocking boyfriend, who is not smart. Sasha Bortich (Lena) is an actress with good acting skills, but the logic of her character’s actions is brazenly and recklessly ruined. Then she is ready with Misha (Denis Paramonov) to run to the end of the world, then the next day she almost beats him because of some household trifles. Due to the slackness of the character, Sasha Bortic plays poorly. Of course, the writer’s fault is traced here, as they say, as you name the boat, so it will float, so there are plenty of shoals in the character Bortic.
Zhenya is a disgusting spermotoxician at first, but then he opens up unprecedented care, for example, in relation to Faith. The only comic character that doesn’t raise any questions is Roma. A person-brain, a person-strangeness, getting into situations of a scandalous nature and coming out of them dry. Of course, I liked Efim Shifrin’s game. The character is wretched, but each of his phrases is accompanied by such a rich intonation of acting professionalism that you believe only him. Well, the character of Nadia, who could not understand how to attract her beloved guy. The girl is twenty years old, and she dresses like a teenager and does not scratch her head. And the performance of this actress is outstanding.
Ten jokes in the "Filfak" definitely smiled, there is a little intrigue, but even then it is similar to the intrigue of the series "Eighties" (in "Filfak" it is the love triangle of Alex-Misha-Lena). And a huge thank you to the actors who played Glory and Alex. Glory is probably the first Gopnik in the history of cinema, which will not go, and Alex was played by a Russian girl who managed to perfectly portray an American accent!

TV series about & nbsp;students of philology without & nbsp;students
I have not watched TV for 6 years, but the bright red banners on the search site with a good name “FILFAK” and also with the notorious Alexandra Bortich seemed convincing to me. Since I live in the world of students, it was very interesting how this life will be shown in the series. After watching a few episodes, I would like to share my opinion with you and compare my life experience with what I saw on the screen.
Let’s start with the images of the students themselves. To the female segment, I have no complaints, in principle. There really are a lot of them in the Philosophy. They are really often beautiful, flirty, or, on the contrary, romantic and shy natures. There are many, they are all different. But the guys shown in the series caused me a lot of negative emotions. I ran into just the Caucasian mountains of cliché, no, the Himalayas, damn it. The vulgarity of vulgarity drives vulgarity. Botanists who are not given, sociopathic botanists with the style of Sheldon, soft-bodied naive romantic nerds ... I want to ask the creators whether they were preparing to create a masterpiece at all. Yeah, there's a hell of a lot of guys in the phil department. But the similarity to reality ends there. I see confident guys at philological faculties, sometimes even pathetic, who are always in style and trend. There are also more gays in the humanitarian professions (or members of minorities themselves are not so complex and can talk about it).
The plot is, as always, trivial. Love triangles, a seductive swing against a nerd's shy baby, blah blah blah. They had such extensive and interesting material! You could have done something really worthwhile! For example, in many universities, there are conflicts between an elite, wealthy journalism department and a principled, conservative fiflak. And this is not some fiction and fantasy, as with the guy who can not calm his libido. It really does exist. And I think it would be interesting to look at such conflicts from the outside. There are so many questions about this fact that can be considered. For example, the problem of stereotyped youth or social conflicts. It would also be interesting to observe the moments of the former schoolboy becoming an adult through the clashes of lack of experience with suddenly collapsed responsibility. I would like to see more psychology on Russian TV. This, unlike love triangles, can be revealed deeper and more interesting. And it's more useful to show it.
Philology. I lacked philological and literary things. It would be great if the series taught something else, for example, new terms, or would tell about the real life of outstanding writers and philologists, about how ordinary Fiflak graduates live now. I did not feel the literary atmosphere, how many poems the main character would not read.
There should be such shows on television (about students, school, other spheres of life), but they should also be honest and useful. Students need them so that they can discover something new for themselves, be able to decide in life, understand who they want to be. Students and future students need to understand what a difficult life awaits them within the walls of the university - difficult in terms of responsibility and independence, which I did not notice before.
Again, the creators had so many opportunities to make a good series about real students, but they didn’t take advantage of them. They just released another comedy in the style of “Univer”, “Fizruka”. These characters are not tied to the place: take these nerds and this cool chick and put in the scenery of the last century – and here is your series “90s”.
I don't recommend it. Careful, cardboard and cliche characters can cause a fifth point explosion.

- They say you have to do or change. And now I know what.
' PhilFak' TNT is the most discussed project of April: primarily, of course, thanks to active advertising. Nevertheless, in my opinion, the creators of the series made a little mistake with the choice of format and, mainly, the choice of the screensaver, because the action that we can watch under the already well-received series so to the sixth Hey Girl, absolutely does not fit with what is happening on the screen, because the comedy format is already inferior to the fourth series in fact to the dramatic format and the events of the series are layered on the love lines.
Humor, for which the series is also heavily criticized, becomes a means of revealing the character of the characters, it does not appeal to the viewer, but goes from character to character, somewhere becomes an indicator of how they change, reacting to what is happening, somewhere, on the contrary, emphasizes their shortcomings.
Characters, their atypicalness, originality, emotionality, non-cardboardness are one of the main advantages of the series. I was also pleased with the actors who not only served the number, but really did a serious job. Interesting was the image of Misha (Denis Paramonov), which seemed to remain the same, but added confidence and reliability and began to write other poems. At first, Lena (Alexandra Bortich), who looked not the most pleasant person, turned out to be sympathetic, responsible, far from stupid, able to love and appreciate self-love. Impressed and Nadia (Polina Pushkaruk), finally confused in himself, in his feelings and what is happening around her. Surprised by their simplicity and sincerity Glory (Mikhail Troynik) and Borya (Alexey Litvinenko). Even in the episodes, but more than worthy of their parental roles played Marina Zubanova (Mama Babina) and Gregory Seltzer (Dad Lena). Moreover, it would be right to thank the writers for these roles: what Lena said in the last episode of the first season, she could say, probably, only to her dad – which means that her parents were introduced to the series not accidentally or spontaneously.
Perhaps not the most successful were some episodes or even series, but in relation to this project, it is probably much more interesting to track what runs through the season, something that we can not always immediately explain or comprehend.
If you are looking for real, genuine emotions, this series is for you. There are no lies here, and therefore the sincerity, simplicity and kindness of what is happening respond within.

First of all, I find it necessary to answer the obvious question: what exactly made me watch another TV series on TNT? An astounding amount of advertising in Moscow, from bus stops and billboards to audio on subway escalators. However, only Alexandra Bortich could attract my attention anyway. I liked her both in the TV series “The Policeman from Rublevka”, and in the photos from her naked trip to Moscow on a horse.
Episodes from the first to the sixth I watched for three days and not without surprise realized that if the first left an exclusively nauseating sediment, then the subsequent ones I even liked in places. Unlike most comedy projects on Russian television, there are plenty of interesting references and creative ideas here: from one of my favorite games, True or dare? to discussing Burroughs and reading Yesenin. The well-implemented reference to “The Big Bang Theory” is unexpectedly cool, as is the lack of overt censorship – jokes about Hitler and Jews are acceptable for key characters. Notes to the series may seem offensive to someone, I already foresee a lot of “intellectual” jokes about this, but if Shakespeare is really ashamed not to know, then Catullus’ work somehow passed me by, so why not learn about him from the comedy series? . .
In contrast to creativity are purely technical errors. First of all, I never understood why censor the obscene vocabulary — if this series is made for TNT and TNT’s policy doesn’t allow you to swear off the screen — well, cut it out at the editing stage of the dialogue, not at the screening stage. Secondly, an unpleasant surprise was the song "Hey Girl" by The Bumps - it has zero rhythm and a rather dull motif, and insert it not only into the squandered intro, but also in every break between the plot scenes. Well, the focus on the target audience of the series “Real boys”, unfortunately, is noticeable. Both neutral male characters (Alexei Litvinenko in the role of Bori and Mikhail Troynik in the role of Glory), which could not cause irritation, clearly target a rather marginal audience, which adds to the negative emotions of viewing. The latter may be a subjective claim, but, in my opinion, the series “Filfax” and “Real boys” should still have a different target audience.
My main claim, however, is not to the general cultural level, but to the trinity of key male characters. The greatest disgust, of course, is Zhenya. Alexei Zolotovitsky looks flawlessly suited to the role of a loser pickup driver; unfortunately, this is one of the most annoying images. If you do not want to shoot him after the first so-called joke about the meaning of the word "introduction", then ... no problem, already in the fifth minute his huge nipples will hang out in the frame; I strongly recommend not to start watching food, by the way. At least his character deserves ridicule. Vasily Pospelov (Babin) is just another humiliation of gamers on the screen. Come on, what are the Stone Age stereotypes? I understand that this may seem ridiculous to gopniks, but the vast majority of young people these days are at least familiar with computer games. About the main character (Denis Paramonov in the role of Misha) and his female counterpart (Polina Pushkaruk in the role of Nadia) I have nothing to say yet, because they are extremely expressionless and dull.
The negativity and the reasons why I would not risk recommending someone to watch this project were dealt with. Let’s move on to why I didn’t drop it after those six episodes, but I plan to keep watching. First of all, Alexandra Bortich as Lena – yes, I like her and reminds me of some of her friends, but that’s not her main virtue. Much more important is the fact that her character is quite adequate, realistic and very good jokes, and her friend Veronica is quite funny in a couple of scenes. The second character who saves the series from the emphasis on gopniks is Gudkov. Efim Shifrin is quite a good comedian, to confess, he did not expect to see him on TNT, and in the story his character goes out on a stalk and relationship with a former student. Actually, Violetta Davydovskaya as Vera is the third and last character of interest to me. It complements the cast well and has many development options for the plot.
Episodes from the seventh to the tenth left behind a rather positive impression. In principle, the flaws described above have not disappeared, but I do not share the claims to the plot and allegedly plagiarism with The Big Bang Theory. In these projects, I agree, there are a few common points, but the characters and plot are different enough fundamentally to confidently argue that this is not plagiarism. Omitting the topic of AIDS, only for these four episodes there was an interesting idea with taxi driving (could adapt it for Uber or so on for relevance, but I can not immediately name analogues) and a great plot reference to the work of my favorite Banksy. Almost immediately after reading Wall and Piece, I was ready to applaud the second. Of course, there are unfortunate moments, for example, the planned transformation of Nadia, which was supposed to impress someone - a complete failure, in my opinion, but there are still fewer of them.
I watched the last ten episodes already on a quick rewind, because instead of an easy and positive ending, directly following from the fifteenth episode, for which I could put even a minimal positive rating, the series was turned into a dull melodrama. You see, you can tolerate a monologue from Lena about sex after marriage and the harm of nightclubs (it is an unbearable facepalm in contrast to the character, but still) or gay jokes about the army (in general, I could not find a law according to which homosexuals do not serve in our country). In fact, towards the end of the series, I stopped vomiting a couple of times per episode, and the characters stopped being annoyed as soon as they were allowed to just play the image, instead of constantly exaggerating, vulgar or stupid.
The problem is that after a beautiful fifteenth episode, which I consider the best of the season, the writers from scratch added new characters and started making soap opera. This is not something that became somehow vulgar, stupid, disgusting or disgusting, like the nipples of Zhenya in the first series - no, but most successful jokes were lost, and the plot ... seriously, well, who was interested in the plot here?! I want to highlight the many missed opportunities. I am not an expert, it is difficult for me to say exactly how it was worth adapting the script and for which particular audience, but I can say for sure: if in the series "Filfax" the main characters read poems to prostitutes and do not remember the cult "Yes!" Now it's settled. Without a return ..." is a priori a failure.
Before the season is over, everyone is writing reviews. Moreover, they are not objective.
I'll start with "sins"
From the first frame I see that the screensaver is similar to foreign analogues. And especially make you think about these letters from above. Oh, come on. Sliced ideas and screensavers are not a problem. The main thing is the performance of the series itself and still “distinctiveness” from foreign series.
The notes at the end of the series. At the beginning of the season they were, and towards the end they were again. How do you know that? Since they were there, let them be everywhere in each series!
Too much alcohol on the show! It feels like everyone is drunk.
Now the reviewers. Many write that the series is again cattle, not realistic what is happening in the scenes, another Russian TNT series, bad actors, etc. So what isn't his realism? In my opinion, the series is quite realistic, and especially because it is unpredictable, like our lives. Some situations at the university that happened to me or happened nearby. All this is reality and it is happening in Philfax.
About cattle and gopniks. We got a whole country of them. There are even reviewers. How about without them? But in the series they are corrected!
About the supposedly bad performance of the actors of this three guys. Their characters are like that. Think about it! They're nerds!
Positive!
Why did I start watching the series? Yes, of course, because of the wonderful Alexandra Bortich! Let’s see what’s new at TNT this time! Another failed, uninteresting series? Or something worthwhile.
In the beginning, I turned to the game only Sasha Bortic, but then I became interested in all the other characters of the series. It's amazing how they fit together.
It’s a little strange to me that such “scumbags” studied in philology. I saw the same in my group of techies who discussed games, then about in-depth study literature. Well, as it were ... programmers and gamers - one topic.
Yes, there are moments of “concern” and “jerkiness” in episodes, but still this is not a toilet humor, as in “Univer”, “Interns” and others, where they constantly humiliate each other (allegedly put in place), deceive, there are tense moments of misunderstanding, joke below the belt. And what I like is the consistency of what happens. It's history! Not those incomprehensible, unrelated series.
He has at least some teaching. For example, I have a craving for classic books. Absolutely not platitude. I already explained.
The show, normal! He deserves a minimum of 7 points on film search! Well, imagine how much effort was spent: the selection of actors, script, editing, extras. Stop drowning TV shows that have the integrity of the picture! Unpredictability and play without falsehood is what it bribes me with.
I know what I'm saying. Because I've seen a lot of movies. And my profile is youth comedies, just comedies and adventures. There are only 533 comedies on my watch list!
My score is 9/10.
But to support the producers and to resist the trolls I put
10 out of 10
I want the authors to make a sequel! And let them make such series! And let them do it better and better!
P.S About the season finale. Lena had already gone out with her gopnik, knowing about Misha's love. I hope she forgives him for his actions in the second season. 1:1 Both were hurt.
Soundtrack Despite the sheer number of pop songs from the early 2000s and 90s that don't seem to even sound anywhere, there are some nice finds. It is unclear why, in principle, tasteful TNT workers did not press the topic of youth in the musical design. The title theme is good, lyrical ' I like you' also nice. Why is there so little else that speaks to the atmosphere of the show? Exploited for 15 seconds insert this great audacity... Where's pop punk? Where is one melody that allows you to better feel the emotions of the characters? There is much to learn from the chic OST series about restaurant workers.
Heroes Why are they so few and so faceless is the main question? No secondary characters with a twist (remember at least the series Students) - only an incomprehensible headman and highlighting in the series gray teachers. Where in general the place of teachers in this series is about FILFAK series, and not about the party in the neighborhood. The images of the main characters are not disclosed, and some are very calcified (gopnik and sportsman). Thanks for Bortich and Shifrin - they look good in the frame.
Installation There is a feeling that half the material was cut out of the film. Installation of some chaotic cracker director's - gluing in the most unexpected places. Or it's meant to be, but it's all finely sliced and crumpled.
The plot The series copies the first season of the old series Students (the main character of which starred at Stutkov in Fizruk). He loves a beautiful blonde, she loves an athlete, an athlete loves success and somewhere near there is a nasty duckling who loves the main character. The only difference is that the romantic Evgeny sought the attention of the clever and beautiful Veronica, and the romantic Mikhail flounders like in the pool and does not commit acts, but just waits or uses the moments that have come up. . .
That is why you do not empathize with him - there are no actions, only vanity.
It is a pity that the image of Bortich was missed - while Alexandra in the series looks more like a windy party girl and a mercantile new Muscovite, and only in the last series the character of Lena is served from the right side. And the logic in the plot comes only in the final scenes on all fronts. Why it was not possible to immediately shoot the second season is also a big mystery.
The director still has a chance to recover.
I started watching a new series on TNT because of a very good trailer. Music series, nerds and pretty girls receiving higher education. What's not a great seed? We're actually getting UG. How could such a UG be made and, most importantly, how could it be approved for display? I don't understand it at all.
Screenplay.
It doesn't stand up to criticism. In each episode, a maximum of half a joke. And when Borya says to Lena, choosing the toilet in the store ' And where do you shit?' how do you like it? I don’t remember that even in Camedi with all his toilet humor.
Directing.
Fedor Stukov shot very good 'Eighties'. But it's just a failure. Or did he deliberately try to steal the TNT channel? I don’t think the channel will continue to cooperate with him after Philfak. The scenes are tortured, drawn out. There is no dynamic in the series. It seems that the director is not at all, but just the operator tells the actors, like, do something.
Actors.
Miscasting is complete. Of the three nerd friends, none is sympathetic. At the same time, none of them is disgusting. I rarely see that. They're nothing. The guys refuse to play something, stupidly say the script, without a single emotion. Borya and Lena communicate like degenerates. Shifrin looks good, but with such material to play something brilliant impossible. The rest of the actors exist purely for the background. Bortic is a pretty pretty girl in life, but how was she horribly made on these posters!? That's how you should have done it. . ?
I thought that nothing worse 'CHOPA', from the recently released on TNT series, can not be. Oh no, maybe!
And please don’t compare this hat to a TBV, there are thousands of light-years between them.
3 out of 10
On TNT there is a new series "PhilFak", which on the frames and trailers seemed quite a fun series, but how I was wrong.
Plot As strange as it may sound, but now I have to talk about a story that... There's no drum roll! And did you expect something from Anton Zaitsev, who rivets scripts to his “creations” in bundles? Is there anything to expect from a person who every year rivets new seasons Physician, Real boys and still manages to come up with new "ideas" for his new premiere? No plot. There are four friends: one wants to lose his virginity, the other is a jerk, and the third loves a girl who loves pitching. In general, if you want to start watching, or already watching the series, I warn you: you expect such dull, boring dialogue, and the same dumb and undisclosed characters.
Actors Of all the actors who play in this series, I know only Sasha Bortic and Efim Shifrin. The rest are unknown personalities I don't want to know. All the characters in the series are flat, especially this nerd Babin. Characters don't want to empathize. Of all the characters, I remember only Zhenya, Nadia, and Lena. All! I forgot the others.
Humor Now let's get to the main thing, humor. Which turns out not to have been brought in yet. He's not here. Oh no, there is, but only mentally retarded degenerates will laugh at this humor. Thank you for at least not being too rude. All jokes are based on ridiculous situations, sometimes witty dialogue (suddenly!!), and vulgarities. There are few ridiculous situations, but they are funny, there are few witty dialogues, but they are funny, and there are many vulgarities, and only a couple of these jokes are funny. Well, it used to be better. Anton Zaitsev has slipped!

I want to say one thing, it is up to you, dear friends, whether to watch this series or not. I'm not going to say the exact answer. It may sound weird right now, but I’m going to watch the first season, because if you have nothing to do and you want to sit behind a light TV series, then PhilFuck is right for you!
P.S. How sick of these “notes” at the end of each episode, the feeling that we are stupid, and do not know who Dostoevsky is!

"Well, it's like this, y'nbsp; y'nbsp; y'nbsp; y'nbsp;— quintessence!"
The rare series does not reflect the current state of affairs in the country, because as you know, demand generates supply. Apparently, this is why the main characters in most youth series are real boys, guards and just cattle. After all, it is with them that today’s layman identifies himself up to 25 years.
Unfortunately, Filfax was no exception to the rule. Yes, the boys from the district and their chicks, who can not connect two words, are not in the main role, but they set the tone for the narrative.
The moral that the creators of the series are trying to convey to us is actually very simple: " If you are educated and educated, then you can and should be used, you can and should wipe your feet about you. This is what happens in every episode of this wonderful series.
There is only one positive character here, this is Misha, the main character, the rest are either goats, or idiots, or associal, or drink more often than they appear in pairs (this is by the way the teachers), but unfortunately everything is turned upside down, everyone except Misha lives quite well, and he regularly faces problems that he did not give up for nothing and stuffs bumps (often by the way in the literal sense, for six episodes he flew into his head at least three times, although he, of course, cannot give change).
But of course, none of those young people who like to watch TNT, will not see in Misha an example to follow, because he is a “bitch”, “boring” and “tolerated”, but simply “argue” over all his troubles and say: “And so he should.”
And in general, the series for surface viewing is very good, there are funny moments, and a good performance of actors, a good soundtrack, but all this would be funny when it was not so sad.
The series is literally slithered with the Big Bang Theory, character archetypes, plot twists, etc. The only thing that is authentic is the scenery of Russian reality. At the same time, it was not without Gopniks, Caucasians and all of them are so stereotypical that even look sick. We have already seen all these gopniks a hundred times, almost no humorous movie is complete without such characters. Nothing new has been added.
There's no logic to it. In fact, this is a very poor and poor adaptation. And if the character of Kaley Cuoco was subject to such vices as fornication and alcoholism, the creators carefully rewarded her with positive traits, and a partial awareness of their shortcomings. Here we see a typical bitch, who is also the main character. She is also weak on the front, also swells, but at the same time she also considers herself above all others in rank, emphasizing this with defiant outfits, and intonations during a conversation.
An abomination like lactation in one of the characters completely spoils the impression of the series. If that sounds ridiculous, that person is sick. The only character who looks sincere and interesting is modest Nadia. But she is simply lost among the rest of the ragtag of clichéd and uninteresting individuals who, on top of everything, do not have acting talents.
TNT has released another youth series. As always, the story is not original.
The main character, an ordinary guy studies at Philfak, falls in love with a beautiful girl, all this we have seen dozens of times. He has two friends, as usual with oddities. One is not a handsome alpha male, the other is a jerk. As usual, their characters are brought to the maximum absurdity. In general, these three characters can be called copies of Leonard, Howard and Sheldon, although the latter is similar only in its antisociality.
The plot of each series is banal, the main character tries to achieve the love of a girl, two friends help him. Beauty, as it usually happens, does not shine with intelligence, meets with a stupid athlete, stupidity is brought to the extreme. TNT can't make a show and not put a stupid athlete/dumb athlete in it.
Efim Shifrin also stars in the series, plays the role of a teacher, well, we can say, an inconspicuous role, simply exists, I cannot single out or reproach.
Stupid actions of characters that do not lend themselves to logic, absurd situations that in the real world would never happen, all this is present in the series. But there are interesting sides, the same references to TV series (TBV), mentions of famous poets and writers, sometimes shoot jokes. As a result, an ordinary Russian series, better than Univer, in general I think almost any series better than Univer. I advise you to turn off your brain.
Seriously, it washes you well to spit at each of these numerous billboards with advertising of the series, occasionally scattered throughout the city. Does the idea that you studied / are studying / are going to study at philology still make you paint? Then TNT comes to you.
No matter what anyone says, but philological is a good field for screenwriters, and taking into account what has not yet been plowed, the work on creating a sitcom could even be fruitful. Typical of a philfacian banter, typical curious student situations could be adapted for the mass viewer.
Yes, we could, but instead the pilot series opens with a passing on-duty joke (seemingly a game of the meaning of the word "introduction"). It sets a meaningful tone for everything that we will see on the screen later.
The two leitmotifs of the series - "concern" and "nerdiness" - will remind of themselves every episode until they finally turn this already third-rate spectacle into something extremely dull and uniform.
If "Filfax" product at least with any, but a claim to a high-quality sample of the sitcom, would display, at least, the philfak background and lively humor. You will not see either of them here. The viability of the series does not even raise questions - it simply does not exist. Lectures are eerily reminiscent of school lessons, for all four episodes with our heroes there are so many events, and they continue to pull Shakespeare with Gudkov. The true philologist "Filfac" never showed the world. No, not a nerd, not writing poems of a graphomaniac, not teaching, carefully preserving the poems of Brodsky, namely a real philologist. Let it be just a background, but at least one for a change to throw in the system of characters worth it. After all, all the characters are terribly similar and easily divided into two types: actually losers (Misha, Roma, Zhenya, Nadia) and tp (Lena, Borya, Glory). The line Gudkov (Efim Shifrin) is one ray of light, and even then only by the efforts of the comedian himself.
The most annoying is the so-called notes to the series , which the creators transparently hint to the viewer about its proximity. Shakespeare, euphemism and coitus - thank you guys, the vocabulary is significantly replenished. Your education will not be lost without a trace. But the absence in the last published series of these same notes raises the question... So was she so stupid or did the viewer rise to the level of understanding all the depths?
In general, Anton Zaitsev coped with the task of "monetize his ability to come up with jokes" (to emphasize), but in a number of other similar projects, this one simply gets lost due to its template and lack of original solutions.
I'm not even going to call, they say, look / don't look. I am sure that some viewers will really enjoy the series. Just one request: yes, do not undertake to judge the philfak by "Filfac", aluminum.
The series captured me with the first shots! I did not study at the philology department, but as a former student, I understand perfectly well that such “Paradise” places exist! I want to be in the place of the main characters, to return their 18 years and try to achieve the location of the opposite sex, especially when the choice is so great and attractive. The main characters are selected wonderfully: these are real collective images of all the boys that you can meet at any faculty of any university.
Here we go.
Plot
I will not write much, because I watched only the first three episodes, but the very idea that everything will revolve around three losers-nerds, getting into different life, educational and personal situations suggests that this film story can be easily stretched for a large number of seasons, because it is so close and familiar to everyone who did not join the army after secondary school.
Actors
I will not single out anyone specifically (except one, about him a little later), but I will say that the main characters are easily selected and they want to believe and worry. I have long chosen a test for the truthfulness of acting, which is based on one simple rule: as soon as the action is laid in the scene, pause and think, what would you do in the place of the main character? And I can say that in each episode, the guys react exactly as I expected, which speaks to the naturalness and honesty of the actors and authors of the series.
Soundtrack
Special thanks for the title song of the series, which is already on the melody of the call of my mobile phone. And the rest of the collection of compositions of the picture does not spoil anything and does not distract from the storylines.
Efim Shifrin
This is a separate column about a man who brought a measured highlight to the series in the form of a cocktail of formulations and stateliness. I have not seen Yefim on the blue screen for a long time, but his professionalism and comicality catch your eye and with each scene you are more and more waiting for his appearance, because he especially wants to empathize and see on the screen.
Result
It is too early to sum up the results for this series, but we can safely say that on our television there was a centenarian who more than one season can please the viewer with his loved ones for many plot, adequate acting and unexpected difficulties that our heroes will cope with. Definitely recommend everyone to watch, and in order not to cut off from the shoulder at the start of the season put
