The fantastic beauty of the girl worked wonders with the directors: many of them invited the beautiful Virna to shoot in their films, completely without caring about whether she has acting talent. This approach of directors to the acting profession did not suit the aspiring actress Virna. She really wanted to show and prove that, in addition to external beauty from God, she also has inner beauty, an understanding of people, events that happen to her, and, most importantly, the ability to convey these feelings, experiences with her play on film sets.
In the mid-sixties Virna Lisi with great pleasure starred in multiple comedies, her popularity is growing every day. Not limited to acting, Virna works a lot on television and takes an active part in theatrical dramatic productions.
The world popularity of the actress brought a great role of Francesca Ferrara in
movie "Eve" The famous director Joseph Lowsey.
In 1963, the detective film “Big Evidence” by Christian Jacques was released, in which Virna perfectly played the role of Gina Bianchi. The role of Dorothea in the film “Today, Tomorrow, the Day After Tomorrow”, which was released in 1965, brought Virna Lisi the Golden Laurel Award.
