Russian actress Anna Molchanova was born on May 27, 1975. She has two educations: she graduated from the St. Petersburg Film School and the Philological College.
Her film debut took place in 1994 and this debut was truly triumphant. Director Viktor Aristov invited the aspiring actress to the role of Lilian in his
Cinema "Rain in the Ocean" The script was based on the book by the writer A. Belyaev “Island of lost ships”. After the publication, this picture was presented at the film festival “Kinoshok”, where Anna’s work was called “Best Female Role”. Subsequently, Anna continued her cooperation with Aristov and three years later, the film “The Publican” was shown on the same “Kinoshok”, where she played one of the leading roles.
Excellent external data and undoubted acting talent of Anna were noticed not only by domestic, but also by foreign directors. So in 1995, she starred in two foreign projects at once: in the French film La musique de l'amour: Robert et Clara (Music of Love: Robert and Clara Schumann) and the German thriller Visum in den Tod - Die Russenhuren (Death Visa - Russian Whores). By the way, it was in those years that Molchanova’s genre affiliation was determined, to which she is faithful to this day – the actress mainly plays in dramatic, criminal films and action films. In total, over the years she managed to star in about two dozen films and TV series.
The first decade of the new century was also fruitful for the actress. Among her works of this period are the roles of Violet Perrit in Niro Wolf and Archie Goodwin, the French Lucy in the series Code of Honor, Luba in Mole 2, Elizabeth in Poor Poor Paul. One of the interesting roles of this period is the role of Oksana in the TV series “Always Say Always”, where she starred in 2006. It was on this set that Anna met director Alexei Kozlov, who later became her husband. In late 2006, the happy couple had a son Yegor. /
