Nikolai Vitalyevich Burov was born on February 12, 1953 in Leningrad. From a young age he was fond of theatrical art, studied at the Theater of Youth Creativity. Nikolai Vitalyevich Burov was born on February 12, 1953 in Leningrad. From a young age he was fond of theatrical art, studied at the Theater of Youth Creativity. In 1974 he graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography named after N.K. Cherkasov, where he studied at the course of T.G. Soynikova. Then Nikolai Burov began to work in the Leningrad University Theatre named after A. Bryantsev, where he played various roles in 20 performances, including Boris Godunov (“Boris Godunov”), Roman Malakhov (“Stop Malakhov”), Bobyrev (“Shadows”). In 1978, the actor moved to the Leningrad Academic Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin (Alexandrinsky Theater), on the stage of which he goes to this day. Nikolai Burov successfully performs the roles of both classical and modern repertoire. His most significant works are in the performances “Above Light Water”, “Morality of Mrs. Dulskaya”, “Talents and Fans”, “Little Station Full of Flowers”, “Alexander Nevsky”, “Mistress of the Hotel”, “Pygmalion”, “Don Juan”. The actor also works a lot on radio, television, in films, is engaged in the voiceover of films. Nikolai Burov conducts active public activity - he was elected a deputy of the city Council of People's Deputies, was a deputy of the municipal council. He was elected Deputy Chairman of the Board of the St. Petersburg organization STD, since April 2001 served as Chairman of its Board. On January 20, 2005 Nikolai Burov was appointed Chairman of the Committee on Culture of the Government of St. Petersburg.
