Actor Roman Gromadsky was born in Leningrad a few months before the sad date of June 22, 1941. The family survived in the blockade thanks to his father, who fought near Leningrad, and did not miss the opportunity to transfer anything from his front rations to his relatives.
After the war, Roman studied at school, served in the army, in 1962 he entered the Leningrad Theatre Institute for the course of Professor Soynikova. He married at the end of the first year on a classmate Vera Gromadskaya. (She was not the same surname, just the parent name of Roman – Vladimirov, and after the marriage, he took the surname of his wife.)
Graduated from the Institute Roman Gromadsky in 1966 and was immediately accepted into the troupe of Lenkom (now the theater is called "Baltic House"), where he works to this day.
The first role of the young actor was Mishka in “Days of Our Lives”
Film "Blockade" To some extent, it can be called the calling card of the actor. The role of Secretary of the Leningrad regional Committee of the party Gromadsky was invited due to the significant portrait resemblance of the actor with a real person. Roman did not know Kuznetsov himself - during the war he was a child. But he remembered his uncle – also a famous party figure Roman Vladimirov. He was the one who created it.
Now Roman Gromadsky is the leading actor of the Baltic House, but, in addition, he is engaged in teaching activities, heads the department at the Humanitarian University of Trade Unions. He has two grandchildren, whom he loves very much, and another favorite is the Yorkshire Terrier Tyapa. /
