In 1956, when Khrushchev ordered all gypsies to end the nomadic way of life, Sonya settled on the outskirts of Tula, where she studied at school, having finished 7 grades. At the same time, she did not stop singing and dancing, and her talent grew brighter every year. At the age of 14, the young actress auditioned and was accepted into the gypsy ensemble, and since then her touring life began. Once, when Sonya, along with another ensemble was on tour in Moscow, her performance was seen by the artists of the Roman Theater, and just a few days later the young talented actress was already performing in the troupe of this theater, soon becoming a real star there.
