Born on August 4, 1956 in Minsk
Graduated from the Belarusian State Theatre and Art Institute (1978)
For more than ten years he worked in the Minsk Youth Theatre, and in 1991 he became an actor of the Gorky National Academic Drama Theatre. It was here that the talent of this outstanding actor appeared. Starting with a small work in the play “Christ and the Antichrist” according to Merezhkovsky, the artist Sutskover shone in an unusual production of Boris Lutsenko “Perpetuum-mobile or Evening of a Jewish Anecdote”, revealing the abilities of a bright original actor capable of playing any role: both comedic and requiring deep philosophical generalizations. As for example in the play "Demetrius" F. Schiller, where the actor plays several roles at once.
In "Caligula" Albert Camus, his Helicon is bright and convincing. It should be said about another performance, which can be called a milestone in the acting fate of Alexander Sutskover, is - "Amphitrion". In the role of Sosius it is impossible to imagine anyone, so brilliantly he performs it.
